After dealing with the Mercy Mess in Oberlin, this facility is excellent and worth the 1.5 hr drive. The peds staff here really shine in all areas of ratings and they took great care of my sons dislocated elbow. Highly recommended.

Wish I could give them zero stars. Had an appointment with tapper dental and was ten minutes late thanks to traffic and the parking garage being full! Evidently, they didn't care and are making us reschedule. Mind you, my daughter has a cavity that's hurting her, it takes 2 months to even get in there and we live over an hour away. Finding a new pediatric dentist. LIVID.

I just waited for an hour and 18 minutes on the phone trying to schedule an appointment for my daughter. I ended up falling asleep and waking up to still being on hold and I was told I only had 10 people ahead of me. No excuse why I could've watched a whole movie while being on hild with them. Absolutely horrible service!

Hematology and Oncology Doctors are amazing! Our experience with the doctors, nurses and hospital staff in general was great! They include parents when they do their rounds so you are never caught off guard. They always explained everything in a manner that made it easy for us to understand what was going on with our 14yo daughter. They were kind to us and always tried to include her in all of our conversations. I am in love with this department and Rainbows as a hospital. Going to the hospital is almost never a good thing and I hope we never have to see any of them again but if you have to take your children there, please know that they and you will be treated kindly and with respect!

Had preemie twins at 29 weeks and I absolutely love the Nicu nurses they are amazing. We are now at the picu and those nurses are also amazing.

Had my son almost 6 months ago at 38 weeks with a small issue to be treated. He spent about 5 days in the NICU, and we found the NICU nurses were fantastic and very helpful! Highly recommend having your babies at UH in case you need the NICU - as the doctors are very competent.

Yes, I was there since I was about 1 year old because I had a asthma and G-tube feeding problem...Right now, I am 17 years old, there's no more G-tube feeding for rest of my life! I am happy and be strong girl! :) And also, when I was about 2 years old, my old nurse Rakisha always take care of me until I was about 7 years old. Right now, I am done with G-tube. There's no more G-tube for me for rest of my life! Some people asked me about what happened to my G-tube, I always said "None of your business." that's why I don't want to tell them about it.

Parking isn't bad. People are for most part great but it is so hard to find your way out of there and all the pop is diet and food sucks and I hate when they so your going home soon and it's all day then or they will say getting you ready for something in 10 mins then it's two hours...

My sister is bleeding internally and we have been in the pediatric triage lobby for over 2 hours. when confronted, registration had made an excuse of "making room for patients" which would have been acceptable, if they hadnt taken everyone else in the waiting room ahead of us, and all new patients that have walked in. They honestly dont care if she bleeds out, doctor told us to rush her here especially for her pain. Upstairs a lot of doctors/nurses CARE for patients , while downstairs it is a pathetic nightmare. Id give rainbow a negative 10 rating if it were possible. Disappointed to say the least, wish they were more caring.

Took my 4 year old daughter to rainbow for seizures after her pediatrician said it's nothing to worry about. Found out she has epilepsy. After receiving the devastating news the doctors and nurses quickly ashured us they can treat it. I will never go to any other hospital again when it comes to my child's health. This place is simply amazing.

When our son was a baby, we found him not breathing during his nap. He was life flighted to Rainbows, and they saved his life. Our son is now 18 years old, healthy as a horse. We will be forever grateful to your staff.

Our daughter was recently admitted and we have this to say about her stay... First of all, we are very grateful for our pediatrician, Dr. Marcus Baratian, who showed so much care and concern for our little girl. He kept tabs on her progress the entire time she was in the hospital. He called numerous times to check on her; even calling our room at 10:30 pm on a Sunday night. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a pediatrician. Next, we would like to thank the staff of UH Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. Thank you to the nurse in the ER triage that immediately made Lyla a priority 1. Thank you to the three doctors that met us in the ER and immediately began to evaluate Lyla. To the nurses and medics that quickly and efficiently carried out the doctors' orders we thank you. We saw more staff in the first 30 minutes than we saw in 5.5 hours in the ER at Ahuja Hospital. We would like to thank the attending doctors and nurses in the Pediatric ICU who ensured us that our baby was going to be okay. We want to thank all of the specialists that assisted in investigating the cause of Lyla's condition [the infectious disease team, the cardiologists, the respiratory specialists, and the hematologists.] Lastly, we would like to thank the staff of Rainbow 6, who ensured we were as comfortable as possible. They were all so kind and quick to provide anything we needed. Hopefully we never have to visit the hospital again but if we do it will be UH Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital. Thank you for your professionalism, diligence, and compassion.
