Beware of this place. From callous staff to severely inexperienced nurses, this place has everything that can turn an emergency into a graver emergency.

Once upon a time this was the number one go to hospital, however, their bedside manner has decreased drastically. From the check in, doctors, "fellows", CNP's, NURSES, etc. They act as if you're an inconvenience to them. They pick and choose who they want to help properly. Smh.... So disappointed in this hospital.

Came in here threw the er and the dr acted like we were dumb but put my husband over night for observstion and at first they got things going and running tests trying new meds now we havent seen a actual Dr since the day we got admitted AND my husband went all day without a bed tray which dont seem like a big deal till your on a full liquid diet and trying to eat but then go to get sick and ur tray is on ur lap....and to top it off they treat me like I'm a inconvenience they wouldn't Let me stay in the room with my husband who has anxiety and don't want me to leave him here and go home (we live 2 hrs away) so the first night I slept in my car in the er department parking garage and now I dont want to go out to my car bc its in a parking lot and I just don't feel the safest sleeping in a parking lot so I'm in a extremely small waiting room with two chairs pushed together trying to sleep oh and they're hrs when I can be in his room is 7:30am-8:30pm so I'm supposed to sit/sleep in this waiting room for 11 hrs?! Which I stayed in his room till they kicked me out BTW we've seen very many medical staff come and go the least 2 days and BY FAR his RN names Sofia is the rudest person on the planet and can't wait till she leave and hope I never see her again in my life!!!!!

I have a client who has dementia and the nurse wasn’t accommodating to her needs due to the fact that family chooses not to medicate because of the complications that can occur from sedation and medicating. She wanted to force her into things that normally if given an extra 10-15 minutes I could accomplish. They weren’t helpful other than telling me i needed to take her back to her room instead of roaming the halls because sundowners and her incessant need to just walk around. In the end I ended up with a very grouchy, disoriented client because I literally had no help except for the irritated nurses who helped me walk her around the hallways a whole 2 times. In the 6 years I’ve worked with her UNMEDICATED I have never had her become physically aggressive towards me to the point of punching me. I think they need refresher courses on dementia/Alzheimer’s patients because I’m so disappointed in their lack of compassion and understanding. If you’re thinking of taking your loved one here because of whatever reason and they suffer from dementia/Alzheimer’s I would suggest another emergency room because they won’t help them and make your life a lot harder.

My husband was sent to the ER by Urgent Care due to dizziness and elevated BP. I have been in healthcare since I was 17 and am now retired - every facet of our visit was professional. We felt if we had a critical situation in anyway that we were in the best place we could be. Our nurse Kate was top notch. Dr. Jenkins as well.

I would give zero if I could. Last year I was having all kinds of very scary neurological symptoms that came on suddenly. I went to this Er 3 times for the same issues. They never called in a neurologist The last time I asked and instead of calling a neurologist, the dr said it was a holiday and he refused to call a specialist. Horrible horrible. I don’t know at this point when I go to an Er where to go.

Dr Asher in the ER department was excellent and listened to me after dealing with the ER dept at Ohio Health on Africa (which I do not reccomend, horrible experience) Everyone was kind and professional and treated me like a human being

Came to ER at Riverside as referred by GP. It’s taken 6 hours to get two CT scans and still waiting. At one point did not see the nurse for 1.5 hours. Bedside manner of Dr. not impressing me. Guess I was wrong to think it was still a great place to seek treatment. Won’t be back anytime soon if it’s my choice!

River side is the best I refuse to go anywhere else just all around friendly fast and great services wish more facilities ran there business like this it would be a lot easier to obtain the care you needed
