amazing service. i’m 20 years old and had to get my gallbladder removed rather quickly to painful gallstones in it. everyone from the aids to the nurses to the doctors took wonderful care of me and always made sure i was 100% comfortable. it was my first surgery and i couldn’t ask for a better experience.

I was sent here by my physician to go through some physical therapy. this consisted of 4 sessions ranging between 15 and 40 minutes per session. After each session, I was billed $30, and was not given any notice of additional fees or expenses that I was incurring. Two months later, I got a bill in the mail for $252 on top of what I had paid out of pocket. Apparently, these sessions had been costing roughly $230 per session, and the hospital was billing my Insurance provider, who would not cover the entire expense. Billing me without letting me know of the legitimate costs is inexcusable. Plus, the "physical therapy" that I was undergoing could have, literally, been JUST as efficiently provided in an email with a diagram of workouts. Very unhappy with this situation as a whole, and will probably never return to this hospital unless my life is in balance.

Only giving this two stars because the office staff are really great. For the Dr. Silverman and nurse Helen I would rate this is absolutely a negative star. I’ve been going to this place for five years now and had a great doctor. But now that she’s gone I got Dr. Silverman and I was doing fine on my medications because I have really bad aniexty but the last three months all of a sudden wants nothing to do with me. All she wants to do is hand me off to a psychiatrist which I don’t have time trying to find a psychiatrist and a therapist (and I’ve been looking and can’t do one with out the other) all while I’m in the middle of moving and having surgery. I just didn’t want to mess around my meds while all this was going down. So I called to get a refill on my medication or asked to be switched off them I got a phone call back from nurse Helen yelling at me and this was before I was told to find a psychiatrist she was just suggesting it apparently the staff doesn’t know what one hand is doing. After yelling at me it was apparently a misunderstanding but still you should never treat a patient like that. There was no reason for it whatsoever. Down to the point horrible doctors have no idea what they’re doing even if they are residents learning to be doctors. They’re sure are not there to help people.

I went to Jewish for surgery on my kidneys. I was referred as for follow up. The doctors and staff was fabulous and took great care of me. I went for my first appointment..... they sent me to a lab where I had a bunch of lab work done. I returned today. Well apparently they couldn't find my labs. 3 doctors came in and surrounded me and started to question me. The supervising doctor looked at me and said "Come on did you really go?" I felt as though he was calling me a lair. Felt attacked. Then he said you me..... "You have great insurance you can find a diffrent doctor" I left the office and went 4 blocks up to the lab and to inquire as to what happened. They informed me my results were right there. The doctor that ordered them didn't use the correct code to receive the results. They faxed the doctor the results. I went back informed them. Then went across the street to Jewish to report the doctors behavior to someone. A nice woman took down what happened and said she would be investigating...... Hopefully they will treat people better.
