Has great food for a hospital, not enough for me to want to go back soon though!

Beware, the nurses in trauma was terrible!!!!! My nephew was telling us how he was treated while recovering . So please ask your family if they are being treated bad . If my nephew had said something at that time . We could have took the next step . I asked him why he didn't let me know. He responded by saying Auntie you guys was going home . Tears started rolling down my face ..... I told him over my dead body would I have left you by yourself there . So please people talk to your love ones and let them no you will be there ..... Thank you all and God Bless

I am one in the past to say let the Doctors do there job and patients family’s should treat the hospital with respect even though the outcome is not what you want, But I never seen such a case of utter malpractice they did to my father that was a happy healthy senior citizen that came up with issues starting with his primary doctor at UH not checking him but made him feel like a buddy. The whole UH system is broke like this world and I wish my father would of started out with the clinic. Not naming any names at this time but the UH system just about killed my dad. Put him in therapy in critical condition at 82 years old on a exersize bike ? Are you kidding me? In a month made him look from 70 as a 82 year old to 100:( so sad man

Nurses and staff were the absolute best at the hospital itself. Their kindness and sincere caring were above expectations and the doctors here are are rated the best in the world. It's comforting knowing husband is in the best hands possible.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL TO ANYONE. I had to have reconstructive surgery done due to delivery of our son going terribly wrong. I've been here since 8am and it's now 530pm. Talk about the feeling of barbaric treatment from the Emergency Room Staff, not one of the handfulls of people seem to even acknowledge some of us patients have not been talked to in hours, meanwhile I can hear the women joking with the male nurses/doctors. I knew I should have went to THE CLEVELAND CLINIC. When all this is over I can't ever put myself through another experience like this one.

Tsuki Ryuu

Great hospital! Very hospitable and accomadating. I tend to visit the E.R. many times through out the year and have always been treated nicely. The doctors in other departments are also nice.

I arrived at UH from Case Western's campus at 8pm and had nothing but a horrible experience from the start. I waited 4 hours in the waiting room (standard I'm told) and then they did nothing but make my problem worse all night, not allowing me to rest and lacking many basic services such as food, pillows, and actual blankets. They have yet to put me in a real bed as I write this at 4am sitting on a somewhat cushioned gurney. Being very knowledgeable in the medical field myself as a Case student, I can call this nothing but unacceptable patient care. But it doesn't matter how much I know, anyone in my position would be livid with their care.

The way they do things is ridiculous! My father was sent to the ER by his doctor for concerns over double vision. They admitted him & for 10 hrs we were on pins and needles because they did scans and thought he had a blood clot behind his eye. After an MRI and waiting hours for results they inform us that he's fine, has no clot & can go home. I have never seen such inept bedside manner before, making ppl scared and worried over a serious health scare for that many hours is insane. Add to that they all seem to think the evening hours are for hanging out and social hour. For 10 hrs my poor father wasn't allowed to eat or have more than a few sips of water. No one knew anything or would keep saying they 'made a call and would hear something in a bit'. Meanwhile, they're openly complaining about other patients. His call button wasn't even plugged in, so if something serious had happened to him, and we hadn't been there, he wouldn't have had help. This is why I go to Cleveland Clinic!

I was brought in for a Lamectomy. To start off the people on the lower levels were wonderful. My veins are hard to find, and they found them. Never complaining once. Afterwards when I made it upstairs to my room. It seemed my my care was their #1 need. I have been to Hospitals that made you feel like carp for wanting a drink. So if possible this team of the 6th Tower deserves a 100 out of 10.

Dr Sanchez and staff were wonderful, down to earth and very easy to talk to. Was nervous about seeing transplant surgeon but upon meeting him and his staff he is a wonderful, intelligent, and helpful Doctor and very deserving of his excellent reputation. Thank you university hospital in Cleveland and thank you Dr Yurich for sending me to such a caring place.

Alponso Vincent

Good service there! The doctor gave me complete understanding of my problem!

David Lee

Did a great job. He took the time to do my procedure the right way. He didn't take half measures. Very helpful and positive attitude.

JoJo Winfield

They are in the process of killing my father with there inept staff. Terry Winfield was always a strong man. In the last few weeks they have done everything they can to torture him. My father, Terry Winfield, is now on a ventilator and the prognosis is bleak! I pray for anyone who has the misfortune to end up in this hospital. God Bless!

Once you get a room in the back everyone is pretty helpful but the valet and front desk are HORRIBLE.

The pediatrics ER is terrible. I've been here for two hours and still in the waiting room. TERRIBLE

I love my hospital. From blood work to all departments I’ve been to. Everyone wants to help. My only complaint is I can’t get my tests to load to my patient portal. As a transplant patient I very much want my doctors to sign off on my info. Thanks

Alina Saiakhova

Came here for an infected cat scratch. 3 and half hours later, I still have not seen a doctor. After checking several times how far I've moved on their list, I realized they take 30 to 45 minutes per patient on average. Seems like they are either understaffed or have a lot of slow people working here.

Gary Smith

I had a brain tumor removed spent a month in rehab an I had wonderful care. The food was the best hospital food I've ever eaten. If I wanted a snack or a sandwich all You needed to do was call and they even told how long it would take as in were kind of busy give us 15 minutes. The nurses took time with you... I can't say enough good things about them. I've been there twice the second time was as good as my first visit.

Carol Brown

Nurses great. Communication very poor!

syb exotiks

This is the worste emergency room I've ever been to. I came in for food poisoning and stomach pain and the idiot doctor tells me I'm going to take care of the burning in your stomach and ends up giving me medicine for acid reflux when I told him that I don't anything burning in my stomach. I'm still in pain since 9:30 this morning and nothing has been done here in this hospital.

Linda Lee

My surgery in 2016 by Dr. Raymond Onders caused damage to my Vagus nerve & put me in Sinus arrest. I had to have a pacemaker implant. When I had the implant I felt the whole thing at a 7-8 for 1.5 hours! Everyone covering for each other. Still no referal for a neurologist! Not the same U. H. It use to be!

Abbey Steets

I called asking what to do not for adavice a lady named Janice was as rude as could be I’m very pissed off

John Zoidberg

Excellent hospital. Very reassuring, timely, respectful, concerned staff of nurses and doctors. While I hope to never need to visit again, it's definitely a very excellent option.

I had the most horrific experience! If I could give zero or negative stars I would. I had been having unexplained hemorrhages on my legs and thigh that resembled semi-circular bruising but were not a result of incident or trauma to the area. I initially thought they were some form of superficial blood clots and went to an urgent care where I was referred to the University Hospital on Euclid Avenue. The blond haired caucasian woman that oversaw the performed triage was rude and short with me as if my mere presence there bothered her. Shortly after I was placed in a room with a physician's assistant who advised me that I must have hit my thigh without realizing, but when I advised that this wasnt the only occurance he simply shrugged and continuously repeated that it was definitely not a clot. He said he would send in the doctor after thoroughly advising the attendee of his thoughts, biasing him before he had a chance to form his own opinion. Before the attending physician came in I heard him speaking with a colleague diagnosing me before even seeing my thigh, stating dismissively "it's probably just a bump on the knee". Both parties, the PA and the attendee were extremely condescending and refused to listen when I advised that I in fact had NOT banged the areas prior to bruising. They were so concerned about being right that they invested absolutely no energy in finding out what was actually wrong. They ran blood work to prove that the bruised areas were not the result of blood clots but ran no tests or made no efforts to find out why I was spontaneously hemorrhaging. Though the previous bruising had been smaller, in this instance, the bruising to my thigh was the size of a golf ball and stung as if I had been hit by one. This was not the type of bruise one would get without realizing. The area was a mixture of dark reds and deep blues resulting in the appearance of a violet semi-circular welt. The site was very slightly protruded and had a light red cast all around it. This hemorrhage was very painful and felt nothing like any bruise I had ever experienced. I was so upset by their treatment and blatant disregard I began to cry. As previously stated, they sent me for minor blood work as they advised that a full make up would take up too much time and resources. They made me wait over an hour for the results and even the phlebotomist was rude. Afterwards, they advised again that I must have, in each instance, undergone an unnoticed trauma resulting in hemorrhaging and bruising, but for good measure I should follow up with a primary care doctor and a rheumatologist as there was nothing more they could assist me with. I left there still hardly able to walk due to the severe bruising on my left thigh which is causing me great pain. I had chosen to go there over cleveland clinic because in the past I enjoyed my experience at the rainbow urgent care in Beachwood, but after this insulting encounter I could never see myself stepping foot back into the UH emergency room on Euclid Avenue. I am so displeased with the entire experience and I left more wounded than I arrived. It is unfortunate when doctors forget that they are practicing medicine and start seeing themselves as infallable because that's when they stop listening and start becoming dangerous. If you are looking to be treated with any human decency or to be seen with caring eyes and open ears. Don't come here because University Hospital's Emergency room on Euclid Avenue won't have time to care or the willingness to help. Seen on March 3, 2019

Worst emergency room ever. I broke my leg and and came back because a swelling was yelled at by the social worker . She told me she broke her leg and she didn’t have pain when she broke her leg so neither should I. very rude and unsympathetic .

A filthy joke

Robin Homolya

Worst emergency room EVER! Ignored all night and no one is even around. I have never been in an ER this long for a relatively minor injury (broken arm) 8 hours so far. 2 hours waiting for an X-ray, over 2 hours for results. Pain meds ordered, never got any.

They are the worst. They say they have online appointment booking but twice I booked appointments and twice they have cancelled with me. Why have online appointments if you can't make them? Not going but for a third time...my insurance and money spends just as well somewhere else where it's not a pain to me to try to see someone.

It's impossible to talk to a doctor. No calls are ever returned in spite of leaving numerous voice mail messages. The Medical Records office will never release records in spite of faxing and hand delivering the signed forms. It must be one of the worst hospitals in the country when it comes to patient interaction.

PATRICIA Giambrone

Best hospital in Cleveland. Doctors, Nurses and staff are all so friendly and try their best in helping people. The staff who work at scheduling are a bit rude and feel over worked I believe. But hands down best care you can possibly get in a hospital.

Linda Willingham

VERY GOOD!BEEN A PATIENT FOR OVER 30 YEARS.

I have been here 3 times in 10 days with my spouse and they did nothing but push morphine and send her home with opiates. No one tried to fix the problem they just pacified her for the moment.

Nicole Starr

The waiting time sucks. I have been here for fours. They kept moving me around and forgot I had an IV in my arm. My nurse went somewhere else so another nurse had to take over. That nurse actually asked the insurance people a question and they basically ignored her. Now its been 30 mins for a consultation and no one has come back. I am super close from learning how to pull this iv needle out myself and just leave. They need more staff and staff that will actually do work and not "pay bills" as one nurse stated. I won't come back. Note this was the night shift

I’ve been to a good share of hospitals in my life and this is by far the worst hospital ever. The ER is absolutely terrible! The nurses at the front desk in the waiting room would just sit with there backs turned talking to each other not even realizing that a patient was needing help. I was there today almost 7 hours for my grandfather and that’s all I saw them do. They were unhelpful when we were trying to find out information about my grandfather. Instead of looking further into things, they would simply say we don’t have that name right now. Almost 2 hours later were we actually told we could go back to see my grandfather. Once we were back there, I soon realized the ER is completely disorganized, zero communication between the nurses and you could tell the nurses did not truly care about the patients- they were super unfriendly. One nurse would come in the room and tell us one thing, while another nurse came later on and told us something else. One doctor said he was free to go home and about 5 minutes later, a different doctor came and said he had to stay over night but also told us that the ER department told him we didn’t want him to stay over night-we never once said that. As doctors, that should be your decision..you’re suppose to be the professional one in this situation. My grandfather’s roommate starting screaming and no nurses came to see what was going on so when we went out to the nurses desk for help, there was NOBODY there. This ER needs to be throughly checked out!

Recieved the best care for my sister at the ER. Everyone from admitting to doctors, nurses lab... Gave her above and beyond compassionate, professional care. We were all so grateful for all they did

Wife had a kidney transplant on the 6th of February, was released on the 11th, had to go back to ER on the 13th. Arrived around 12pm. Doctor said around 4pm wife will be admitted and have exploratory surgery tomorrow. It is 11pm and counting and my poor wife has not been admitted or given a room. She is leaking fluid as we speak and uncomfortable. I have been told several times someone is cleaning a room. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard or experienced. No room but will undergo a surgery in the morning Sitting here in ER. This is the worst place I have ever seen. Crazzzzzzzzzy!

This is the best hospital I have ever been in. I had both of my kids here and it was a wonderful experience. The staff was very polite and fast. They really helped me get through them tough hours of both of my labors. I did get a little annoyed because of the mid night vital checks for me and my kids but I knew they were just doing their job so my aggravation was not towards them. I love UH. To Heal. To Teach. To Discover.

I was life flighted to University from Toldeo 2 hours away because this is the best hospital around, espically for heart issues. I went into cardiogenic shock & almost died. I Spent 15 days here and these drs / nurses & staff were unbelievably AMAZING towards me and my family. This was the most terrifying time of my life and i would have not wanted to be at any other hospital. Nurses Kara & Jake and Physical Therapist Danny made such an impact on me i will never forget them! ❤

Ravenna Bowling

The uh e.r in Ravenna is the worst . I want into er because I was have really bad eblow pain and the nurse told if I am not died or anything not fall off to not come in to er because it not emgry .

Called in for pre surgery testing with a scheduling problem and the woman just kept talking over me and hung up. Didnt even pretend like she cares about the issue....hilarious!

Even though this particular hospital DID help my step mother out medically (after a week of being elsewhere that wasn't capable of helping her condition due to prior health issues), they somehow have managed to lose ALL of her belongings that were transferred with her from previous hospital... they managed to lose her clothes, her coat, her phone w/charger AND her TEETH!!!! Since she arrived there my mother (her partner) has called each day 2-3x a day and everytime she had been moved my mother asked the nurse if her belongings were with her, and the person always replyed YES... HOW DO YOU LOSE SOMEONE'S BELONGINGS?? ESPECIALLY SOMEONE'S TEETH!!!!!!!!

Joseph McHugh

They've birthed a few of our kids and made my wife healthy after a health scare. Great staff, very helpful and professional. I have nothing bad to say about this place. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Thankyou to Dr Lee & Dr Sila at UH Hospital Neurology for Excellent Customer Care, after having no success with the other Local Hospital System and constantly having after issues from my Stroke a month ago and being rushed back to hospital 4 times by ambulance since my stroke i went to these amazing doctors today and i finally have some positive results and direction in the right way, these 2 Neurologists worked out in a very short period of time what was happening to me and came up with a plan of attack to get me back up and going, they also found alot of other things that the other doctors from the other local health system have missed or not even considered for over a month with me by doing some simply testing and research today, i finally came home tonight with a positive outlook and new found faith that there really are doctors out there that truely care and know what they are doing instead of these guys that just guess and when they dont know just send you home with a life threatening issue and no concern for their patients lives or needs.

Chris Jones

This place is a joke. Went in today with chest pain and waited 2 hours before i was fed up with not being seen that i just walked out and went somewhere else. When trying to check in with the "emergency nurse" she wasnt even paying attention to me she was distracted by other less meaningful things. I would not be suprised to hear on the news someone getting so frustrated here waiting to get seen, that they end up shooting everyone there.

Howard Rabb

When you operate a hospital system in the city with the Cleveland Clinic, you have to be good. University Hospitals is as good as it gets when it comes to hospital systems. The doctors and nurses are generally knowledgeable & courteous. Like good teachers making good schools, good professionals in hospitals make the hospital great. In Cleveland, UH is generally regarded as the more friendly hospital system. It is also regularly rated very highly in most departments by U.S. News & World Report. This especially applies to UH Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital. For me, the best thing to do is to first look into the doctor you are choosing, no matter which hospital system he or she is affiliated with and second look for hospital with a strong department for the medical condition you’re concerned about. My guess is UH will probably fit the bill.

My wife Jason st gave birth at St. John West Shore and out experience there was. Itching short of phenomenal. Having previously had our twin at Fairview hospital in the Infamous Cleveland Clinic system, our experience there was, in hindsight, total crap. My wife wanted to have the baby with no drugs and the staff at SJWC is amazing and let my Wife have our baby the way she wanted to.

Sitting here for 2+ hours for a 10 minute procedure. 1st the Doc comes in to do 3 of 4 things he needed to do. 2nd He gives a numbing shot and says he'll be back shortly. That was 45 min ago. Does he really expect the area to still be numb in order to resume the procedure? We ask a nurse how much longer it will be till he comes back they say 3min. That was 15 min ago. Very disappointing never coming back here again.

I have insurance, I paid my bill knowing I was charged for service that were not preformed. I spent 48 mins and transferred a total of 5 times on my last call to billing. I requested an Itemized bill have yet to receive. I was in Cleveland on vacation. Worst hospital, long wait time on billing question or concerns. Be prepared to spend countless hours sorting out billing. Mind you it was for Urgent Care, not an emergency or surgery. God bless Cleveland. Hope y'all have other choose when it comes to medical care.

K8 Mnn

This is the worst emergency department I've ever encountered. I was told by my specialist to come up here and I needed to be admitted. I have now sat for almost 2 hours and have yet to see a soul. Definition of emergency: a serious, unexpected, and often dangerous situation requiring immediate action.......If you are too busy seeing people who don't have serious illnesses then open a 24 hr urgent care! Get with it Cleveland.

I would give a zero if I could. This hospital should be shut down! I went there after 3 days of not being able to keep anything down. They put me in a waiting room gave me medication that end up giving me a allergic reaction. I started throwing up, sweating, and crying out with pain. I stop 3 nurses to tell them how I was feeling no one came back to check on me. I left and went to another hospital. I called to make a report on them and they did a NOTHING but give me attitude and was extremely unprofessional. I wouldnt recommend this hospital to my worst enemy. Straight garbage

Thomas S

Acute care was really good, but they can't handle chronic conditions. Social work terrible, worker changed constantly and only one good one out of ten. Nobody uses email and tells you to wait for callback and if you miss it (for example driving a car, using the toilet, etc.) you are noted as non-compliant and they wash their hands of you. How compassionate.

Bassem Elbakri

If I could I would leave zero stars I’ve been stuck in the er for nearly 12 hours and on top of that the staff here lied about saying that my transfer to another hospital was ready that was 4 hours ago do not come here if you want your time wasted

This hospital has been one of the worst decisions we have made. A family friend has been in and out of the ICU, and the staff has been nothing but disrespectful. The patient that we are speaking of, has been mentally aware, as the staff has treated him like he is a vegetable. Unfortunately right now we are in a situation where we are being bullied by the medical staff, and luckily have legal help to guide us into even knowing that it is such a thing for people to do in such a time of need for you. We have contacted the local news to advertise just how we are being treated so people are being aware. At one point we called to check on the patient and the receptionist had told us to 'not call anymore when we are not there'. If you have a loved one, and they are in critical need which is why they would be in the ICU, I know that you are looking for the best care, the most empathetic support like we were. This is not where you would find that and I wish I was relayed this information before I was too far in, which is why I am relaying this to everyone els. Hope this helped

I came here for a cardiac ablation surgery in which they ran electrodes up my femoral vein into my heart where they burned/destroyed some nerves that were firing aberrantly. Everyone on my surgical team (except one nurse whom I will describe next) was absolutely incredible and professional. The team was led by Dr. Mauricio Arruda who is a well-known electrophysiologist with several protocols named after him and a special cardiac ablation procedure that he developed. Because of the nature of my surgery I had to be kept completely conscious. This can be very scary and nerve wrecking, especially for me, as I pass out very easily. The nurses (except the one mentioned above) were UNBELIEVABLY nurturing and attentive. One nurse stood by my side and held great, distracting conversation with me for 80% of the time only leaving to do things he had to do for the surgery. The fellow on my team, also an excellent physician, explained the entire procedure in great detail and described potential outcomes that may be encountered through the process. The surgery was a 100% success. My heart no longer has 40,000 irregular beats a day. Every time I check my pulse it's normal. I am so grateful and no longer live in fear that something might happen. NOW: for the unbelievably unprofessional nurse that was on my team. I am going to list out the four major instances that I found to be disturbing. Number three is by far the most absurd thing of all. 1) Upon meeting this nurse, another nurse on my team immediately showed discomfort by his presence. He began making lots of weird jokes about not doing things the correct way (which normally I would brush off. But what followed is why I am mentioning this behavior) 2) The fellow (physician post-residency) who would be performing part of the surgery is middle eastern. As he was explaining the procedure, this rude nurse came up and says "yes he is a super perfectionist. He constantly yells at me when I mess up" and the fellow smiled politely. Then the nurse had the AUDACITY to say "honestly, the only English word this man knows is a cuss word." I could not believe my ears. 3) At the start of my surgery the fellow began to inject my groin (area between the crotch and thigh) with a numbing agent. This unprofessional nurse comes in with a giant plastic pole looking thing and jokingly shoves the fellow on the back with it! can you believe that?! The fellow literally had a needle in my groin and this nurse shoves him! The fellow turned around to indicate that he was actively performing my surgery. Unbelievable. ******** 4) The kind nurse who spoke with me during the surgery was asking me what I do. I am a neuroscience PhD candidate at Kent State. I also have a masters and a couple of bachelor degrees. This unprofessional nurse interrupts our convo and goes "where do you go to school?" And when I told him Kent State he replies "can't read, can't write, kent state!" Look, I can take a joke. Had this kind nurse said this to me I would have laughed because he had shown his decent character clearly. But this man, I just could not believe the back-to-back inappropriateness that was going on. I have contacted the hospital about this particular nurse, while making it clear that everyone else was absolutely wonderful. Including the check-in and administrative people. So we will see what comes of it.

Would never recommend this hospital. My Moms blood pressure was high, wouldnt give blood pressure medicine. My Mom vomited all over herself, put call light on nurse never came, so.I cleaned her up! She was covered in head to toe bowel movement and no one would answer call for 30 min. My Mom had surgery there, said they would give updates every 2 hours and never did. Went to desk to ask about Mom, was told they dont have to give me updates.

S ntb

if I could give them less than one star, I would...my father went to the ER with a GI Bleed, gushing blood, they let him lay there for more than 6 hours before they told him they would have to transfer him because they didn't have a Gastro Doctor, he then got transferred to Chardon where he laid and bled some more, still didn't see a doctor because the Gastro Doctor was not there! He almost died!!!...they didn't give him any blood until he turned blue, it was horrifying!!! Not to mention that Chardon is a 3 hour drive from home, just totally unacceptable. The nurses were rude and nobody called to tell us about his condition. My dad said that he would rather stay home and bleed to death than go back there.

Barry Edwards

My mother was admitted to the Emergency Center yesterday about 2:30 pm with a broken back. I arrived at 3:30 to see her and find out extent of injuries. Upon entering facility, security tells me to stand at the unattended window to find out what bed to go to. After several minutes (not cool), a woman starts to come in laughing it up with a co-worker and tells me, "Just a minute." and disappears again. With the line building behind me, she came out a minute or so later and sat down and gave me the bed # so I could go in. NOT COOL in an ER! But this set the stage. My mother needed an MRI to find out if she needed surgery - during which time she was in extreme pain and couldn't eat, or worse, drink anything in case she needed to have surgery. We didn't get the MRI until 6:30 pm, came back about 7:30 and were told the results would take another hour. After two hours, I asked the night nurse for the results. She snottily told me it had only been 45 minutes. Another hour goes by, I ask her again. She gives me a cold non-answer, "a doctor will be in to see you". A total of three hours later (Mom still can't eat or drink), a doctor finally comes in to inform us of no surgery. Yay - she can eat and drink - got her water. Asked for crackers -- snot nurse said she couldn't find any crackers. Ridiculous. And a lie. The atmosphere there at night is more like a party than a hospital. Very entitled , self-absorbed mentality. They don't like their social time to be interrupted with patient needs. I give 2 stars rather than 1 simply because I believe that they can provide good surgical solutions. But, it's managed very poorly.

They see you in 20 minutes, and they pass you to a waiting room for hours, no matter if you have serum put, you are in those chairs next to all patients, there is no privacy, they are only interested to stay ahy to charge you To the medical insurance, as if they had given to him treatment of quality. It is one of the worst places that is gone, you go in pain, and you get acetaminophen is everything and they send you a bill to kill you. Is a Terrible place, they don't care about your health, and make you feel better

I had been in this emergency room, regular floor, (which I know was super busy but didn't believe I knew what I was talking about. I couldn't get out of bed to use the restroom. By the time they got to me, I told them that I was leaking into the bed and told me no it was fine....I made them check and SURPRISINGLY, they had to change my sheets and give me soap and water to give myself a bath!! Lol), and I was in the seizure monitoring unit, 5 times, 3 for testing and 2 after surgeries. I had wonderful Doctors, nurses and assistants!! To all the people that complain about the ER slowness, #1 the patients are taken care of in levels of need, #2 you don't get food until they make sure that you CAN get it without it making you have a bigger issue and #3 some days there are more patients than they can keep up with at the level people who are in to be seen, not understaffed, there is a difference. If you don't understand it, think about going to the bank, grocery store, etc., and having to wait in line.....same idea of what you are dealing with. No matter how many people who are in working, they can only see so many people at once. Be patient and they will take care of you with the same amount of respect and one on one as they did with those before you!!! ☺☺☺

I wish I were able to better state my dissatisfaction with your view of my neighborhood hospital. Your view is seriously out of date, by YEARS. Seeing as this is a major hospital in a major city's hub---you only got the street names partially right. The emergency rooms location is nowhere near what you show and on a different main road, hospitals clinics no longer exist, new internationally known buildings aren't shown, again by years. You maps of University Hospitals of Case Western Reserve University are an utter fail! The maps you show are so off that lives are at stake. Some one could die by following your maps.Do something.

I cannot express how thankful I am for this hospital, not only have they saved my father but this past weekend April 5th-7th my fiancé and I were there. Friday night I took my fiancé to the ER and we were taken back right away. He received excellent care, seriously everyone we encountered were amazing, from the valet guys, to the front desk to the nurses, Aides, doctors housekeeping etc. we are so very pleased and will definitely be back! Also wanted to mention the whole staff that worked on lakeside 20 over this past weekend are complete angels, this hospital is lucky to have such an wonderful staff.

Physicians very good. Community Hospitals as well. Calling UH Cleveland is an exercise in futility, Calls drop, no one answers, their voice mail fails, and they say they will callback within a window of three hours on a day and time of their choosing, Good luck if you work.

This hospital got me 17 additional years with my mother (may her memory be for a blessing). Saved my stepson from a ruptured appendix, And has helped other neighbors, relatives, and friends. University Hospitals is our first choice for medical care.
