Have nothing much negative to say but I would like to share a peculiar happening. I took my elderly mother to the e.r. one night recently because she fell on her way to the bathroom in the middle of the night. We checked in at the registration desk...told them what the problem was, and this chick... ...I don't know what her job is, but, she was in scrubs-like attire... said: "your mother was up walking around at 2 in the morning!" That was uncalled for! I should either have told her off or called for security but I reiterated that my mother had been on her way to the bathroom. Draw your own conclusion. On a brighter note, in terms of quality, my mother has usually had reliable care at "City." But, in case of a life-threatening problem, let them take you to Pittsburgh. That isn't to say City Hospital sucks...it only says that it is a small town hospital.

I was calling in behave a doctors office out of town but the receptionist who was very rude keep cutting me off wouldn't even let me finish telling her what i was trying to ask. I work in the medical field and this was very rude and disrespect full and she know I was calling on be have of a doctor.

This place is a 3rd rate hospital. It’s a residency for DO’s not MD’S. Do’ are like 3rd string drs, it requires a lower gpa to get into. Upon calling medical research schools they would not even use some practices this hospital does, because it is not fact based treatment. I’ve talked to drs that work in this town, they hate it because they say drs in other areas make more. Unless you are on welfare and can’t go elsewhere, I would suggest you research this clown institution

Now this is the third time I had my mother at east Liverpool hospital an third time the was diagnosed wrong I've heard they can't tell the difference between a dog an a duck I'm starting to believe

Blasphemous! They allow STD infected staff like Cuntsucker to deal one on one with patients without disclosure. This would not happen in Pittsburgh....

Just moved here from out of state and brought my son who is normally the most easy going and biggest eater around and when he threw up and wasn’t eating I knew something was up. The ER had me come right in and got him taken care of in a flash. Really grateful when two other places wouldn’t even consider taking him.

First time at this hospital. They took great care while I was stabilized. Then took great care placing me in after care to ensure I wouldn't have to be back! Food was so so... But when you are hungry it will do... Nurses and aides are the best. Doctors try and have the human touch, rather than treating you as a number.

My four month old daughter is currently there trying to get testing done and they have COMPLETELY blown her off. They are not doing there job to take EXCELLENT CARE of their patients. If I could give these sorry s.o.bs a ZERO star rating I would. Worst hospital EVER. Do not go to this hospital if you need emergency care. ✌

Im so happy my wife and myself choose. "New vision" program. I was a true mess from substance abuse.thank God. For every single person at the hospital!!! Im alive.sober and after A 60 day patient program. Back home living life!!! Thank you to all who helped me regain my life!!!! Your program and people made the difference!!!

These people treated me like I owned the place. EVERYONE was absolutely wonderful and nice and explained everything. I highly recommend this hospital.

I wish there was a way to leave no stars. So deeply hurt by what has happened there are no words to describe. I do not recommend this hospital to anyone. I have never left a bad review online for any business or hospital until just now. I have an ethical responsibility to speak up until my voice is heard. Every patient matters.

The ER is ridiculous I took my 1year old son their after he fall and busted his ear open it was pretty bad their was blood all over his body and face they made us sit in the waiting room for an hour and a half then took us back to a room for a half hour to tell us their is nothing they can do for him it would of been nice if they would of told me that when I first got their. So we took him up to Akron Children's Hospital they seen us right away and he got 10 stitches.

Eastliverpool is not a real hospital. Awful service for years and years. Whoever says it's a good place is lying or friends with the terrible doctors that are there. If something is wrong you would be in the waiting room for hours and then in the room you wait for an hour or 2 to see a doctor. It is not a hospital anymore. I feel sorry for people who have problems these days cause if u need a hospital you have to travel to get there. The doctors in town don't even listen or care about people. I could even prove it. Stay out of eastliverpool!!!!! This site won't let you post without giving a star. I give them more than thumbs down!!

I was in ELCH for 3.5 days, it was a great experience (as great as being hospitalized could be) and while I tettered in 3 to 5 stars,I settled on 4, and that was due to the nurses and other hospital ancillary staff. Those nurses were awesome every single one and if they are all like the nurses I had them that hospital is in great shape.

If I could give them a zero rating I most definitely would. I came in for gallbladder pains and sat there and did testings for days just for them to send me home. On my last day of being there I didn’t even have a doctor or nurse or aide come in from 10:30 am until it became 3:30pm. I even called for my nurse to come to my room and she never came. I got told I could leave by one doctor supposedly he was suppose to be the surgeon but they don’t communicate at all with each other so as it’s 6:18 pm I’ve been waiting since 3:30 when I got told I could leave for them to discharge me. I’ve asked and asked for answers and couldn’t get any because this whole place has miscommunication and had it the whole time I was here. I had 3 doctors I seen and not a single one of them talked to the other which they were suppose to so here I am walking out with a huge hospital bill and nothing was even done to help. Horrible hospital to go to point blank

Don't even waste your time. The most incompetent staff I have ever seen in my life over three and a half hours for a CAT scan and results and they didn't even scan the right area. Completely worthless.

I've lived here most my life. Heard bad stories over the years. But then again I've heard them for almost every hospital from here to pittsburgh. It comes down to who you see. I've had good/bad experiences several places. My wife had a couple strokes the last couple years and I will say that her er visit was one of the best we'd had. We had been to beaver (had good exp there before but horrible during her 1st stroke - no meds or tests in 10 hrs) Youngstown, & warren. I was very surprised at how well they treated us and how thorough they were. It comes down to what aids, nurses and dr's you get. That is 90% of it. You could go back the next day and have a completely different experience. That's the way it is anywhere.

I was admitted to east liverpool hospital ER due to stomach pains and throwing up. I was there for 12 hours before they found out that I had internal bleeding. They did not give me any pain medication until 2 minutes before I was transfered ( which was 12 hours after I checked in) to a better hospital. My doctor told me that I had a 50/50 percent chance of dying since they did not treat me or try to stop the bleeding. It took an ambulance six hours to come get me and transfer me because I have cheap insurance. I was in pain and trying to yell for a nurse ( they do not have a button to call for help) but no one was listening. This hospital does not care about their patients. They only care about getting paid. Please go to a different hospital. I will never return to this hospital ever again.

Spend some time and some other emergency rooms and I do mean sometime. I was in and out of here so fast. Quick and personal attention that's the way to do it

Usually it's a faster pace here @ E.L.C.H. TODAY not so much. And the admitting nurse left me ,she must have been swamped, no pillow, bed wasn't adjusted.

The nursing staff has the worse attitude. I had to bring my 16 year old son in for extreme testicle pain and because he couldn't pee for his nurse it went all bad!!!! Not only that but his doctor received results at 4 o'clock and we still haven't in the Er!!!!!!

Went to ER for possible broken wrist since it was closest hospital. Was seen by a nurse. Took xrays and said it wasn't broken. Wrapped it with Ace bandage, gave me OTC pain pill and sent me home. Next day saw orthopedic surgeon. Turns out wrist was a broken. Won't be going back here again.
