Honestly the best healthcare service in my opinion. Very caring about my needs. The staff is what keeps me coming back to the VA. I feel like they treat you with the upmost respect. Also I have visited the ER a few times and had a stay in the ICU and they were very professional. I appreciate what all the employees do there daily!

HORRIBLE We applied for the Caregivers Program in the Social Services office. They refused to let us do the "official" interview by phone, even though it was a 3.5 hour drive in the snow. ...so we drove. ....and then they literally asked IDENTICAL QUESTIONS that they had over the phone for the 1st interview. This could have ALL been done by phone, because since they asked IDENTICAL QUESTIONS AND MEDICAL HISTORY ONLY, they knew BEFORE our "official" interview they had no intentions of approving us. My husband is rated 100% total and permanently disabled. I care for him 24/7. ....but apparently to those horrible people, what I do, "isnt good enough". Feeding, administering medication, bathroom and bathing assistance, cleaning etc. isnt "good enough" for them. They wasted our time and our EXTREMELY LIMITED budget (because I had to quit my job to care for him) to force us to drive there when they knew beforehand that they had no intentions of helping us. They are absolutely worthless and care for no one but themselves and their quotas to deny care and assistance. They should be ashamed of themselves.

The Fargo VA Health Care System is by far the best VA in the whole country. Like everything you ever did in the military you still have to wait your turn. I've never seen any veteran treated poorly here. There is a Canteen in the basement and great cafe called the Patriot Cafe that serves breakfast and lunch. A good breakfast will be under $7. There's gifts in the Canteen, but things like otc meds and personal hygiene like razors and soap cost very little money here.

Very great care. But the VA is government run. Accupucture was working for my husband and he had some quality of life and relief. He also was almost completely off of expensive medications. Then as quickly as it started it ended. They said it was considered maintenance. So sad to see the regression of someone I love so much. It's not the Dr's fault. It's higher up, some people have to be benefitting from pushing pharmasuticals . I believe people are receiving kick backs from the pharmasuticals company. My husband deserves better care. He is bed ridden and depressed. He is so capable but unable to do what he needs to do, because of severe pain.

I just had a colonoscopy at the VA in Fargo and the staff was fabulous! We were running a little late because of traffic on the highway I was told don't worry just get here as soon as you can. I got there, they got me in right away and everyone was very accommodating, professional and friendly. Nick the floating nurse was awesome!! Thanks to everyone that helped today. CWO3 Kelly Reid

I’ve always been very happy with this facility. The staff and volunteers are all professional and caring. We are lucky to have this facility here in Fargo. It’s unfortunate that so many individuals have to travel long distances to get here, however if I had to travel further I’d still believe the trip to be worthwhile.

Great staff, everyone has always been great to my family when they join me on my trips for appointments. The staff have given my kids little activity books to keep them entertained and when I had to go for xrays the ladies at the desk were happy to keep my kids entertained. By far the best health care I have had.
