11 hours to emit someone into the hospital is totally unacceptable and it is the shameful that This hospital cannot give the care to the community in which they are associated with. I know this review will probably fall on deaf ears and the hospital will continue to do what they want to do. Is it just the job or is it just the position that you hold. because it seems like there is no health care and this facility.

I seen a woman fall out of her wheelchair yesterday and they receptionist and registration ladies looked over and said.. "omg, ugh really" and they then continued to yell at her telling her shes not allowed to sit on the floor. And if she doesnt get up they were going to call security. Which they did. She ended up leaving and crying. They watched her on the camera making statements like "look shes turning the corner" and not one time did the lady get up and see if the woman was ok she just threatened she was going to have her removed. And laughing. Very snobby. I also noticed they only greeted certain people. This was 07/march 2019 at aprox. 4am

I went to the Emergency Room and sat in the waiting room for almost 5 hours, pregnant and bleeding. At one point i even felt like i was going to pass out, they sent out someone to tell me they were trying to find me a room immediately and continued to wait 2 hours, only to get put in a room and be falsely told i had a UTI, another nurse came in and said that was false and they never did tell me why i was actually bleeding. Just prescribed me prenatal vitamins and nausea medicine??? In total i was at the hospital for almost 9 hours to find out nothing i came to figure out.

I've been coming here every week for the last year for dialysis and I have rarely ever been impressed with this place. I am constantly fighting with them about diet restrictions or my medications. Nothing is consistent. My meds are always coming at different times or they don't have my meds updated or they argue with me about what I am prescribed. They never put me on the same diet and often times restrict my protein intake even though I am supposed to be on a high protein diet. I'm always hungry and forced to beg the nurses to get me bag lunches just so I can go to sleep since I can't sleep when I am hungry. Often times they put me on a "prudent" diet and my dry weight is 165lbs and I'm 6 foot so I am hardly over weight. I no longer have a nephrologist (I did have Dr. Igwamaze) because I fired him for ignoring my blood pressure when he was told by several dialysis techs that it was out of control. I was running 200's/100's+ and higher and after he seen it at 216/135 thats when he reluctantly admitted "I guess it's a little out of control". This went on for four months. The nurses and select doctors are the only reason I give this place two stars. I'm usually on the 7th floor and I adore the nurses. They are great! It is very common to wait in the er for 4+ hours or more. I would recommend going to a different hospital outside of the wake forest family if you want better care. I only come here because I have no transportation leaving me no real other choice but to go to this hell hole. I've even considered calling the ambulance to take me to Greensboro instead. I'm sure cone health is a hell of a lot better. Once I get my license back I'm going to quit going to wake forest hospital in high point. That place sucks bad!

Emergency room took 3 hours to get my daughter (20) into a room and I finally had to start complaining before anyone would come see her. There were 3 people in the waiting room. Very slow and unorganized. I wish I would have driven to Charlotte. Don't come here if you can help it.

I went in the hospital on November 5, 2018 was there for four days for major back surgery. I could not have asked for staff to been any nicer to me. Everyone was very attentive and considerate very professional. I was able to order from the menu, everything I ordered was very good.

It is no better than before. My daughter is there now. Just had surger. Don't take this wrong. I know they have a lot of work to do but it is going to be a long road. First off they put her Ina room that smelled so bad of mold she had an asthma attack. It looked as if it had been shut up for years and not used. There are some very good nurses but a few bad seem to out weigh the good. The attitude of several was unbelievable. It takes forever to get your meds. Or anything else. The cleanliness is certainly questionable. There was coffee spilled and 3 days later it was still under the bed the room was not cleaned. Her bandages were needing to be changed and 9 hours later I did it myself after all the nurse had 3 patients and just couldn't find time.Anyone knows that that is what causes infections. They were saturated and soaked through. This is only a portion final word is We will never come back to this hospital. Good Luck to Wake Forest their work is certainly cut out for them and the attitudes are pretty much irreversible.

Me and my wife taking my father-in-law at the emergency waiting area my little daughter that is 2 years old need you to go to the restroom when they're both restrooms men and women's were dirty really bad so my wife asked the nurse to find out if the cleaners could clean the toilets and the whole bathroom two to three hours went by and the bathrooms were still not clean my daughter had to go to the bathroom again and I told another worker there and still did not get nothing done how can I hospital that would take care of you and is cautious about people being sick but their bathrooms are filthy this really needs to be looked at seriously

Reduced the anount of water brought to me there by reducing my consumption. Told me that I eat too much. Turned down my thermostat so I would get cold. Did not enter my diet into computer until I asked, knowing that I had not eaten for more than 12 hours in order to accommodate my surgery

Staff is very rude and disrespectful for absolutely no reason. They treat patients as if they are a burden for even being there. They will make nasty comments about you as if you're incapable of hearing them. They were absolutely terrible. I don't care how sick I get I will NEVER go back there.

ER waiting time at least 7 hrs on a Wednesday night with 4 patients inside that’s worst Hospital in the triad not recommended unless you want to spend the night.

Very very long wait. Over 4 hours to even get to a treatment room and then more then a hour to see a doctor after getting to a room. Ridiculous wait. I would rate a zero if it was allowed.

I love High Point Regional. No one wants to go to the ER or the hospital. With that said each time I have went the staff and the experience has been peaceful and pleasantly surprising. Both of my children were born at High Point Regional the nurses are very sweet. I recently went because my son was in an accident and they kept both of my children and myself calm while attending to us very quickly. I am currently trying to relocate my mom to the city due to the wonderful care experiences I have had with this health system!

Took my mother here a few months ago when she fell down on concrete stairs. She didn't have insurance at the time and that did not matter to them one bit. They still treated her and gave her the best of the best. The bill was a breeze to pay thanks to their friendly quick billing department. The nurses, doctors, and other staff were very professional and down to the point. I can't wait to come here for my labor and delivery!

Went to the ER and it said the wait was less then 15min it was a lie. The people are friendly enough but they need to revise the web site. It's wrong so of you have pain and can't walk like myself do not expect to be seen by a Dr for at least 3 to 4 hours. There process is messed up. You see aCNA first then a RN then they take pictures and then the regerstration then wait again for who know what else they are going to do but no DR. In sight man this is wrong.
