I have never had a complaint about LMH until now. I was admitted during Christmas and was there for 7 days with breathing difficulty. The nurses were great. But nothing was done during that time. Finally they decided to do a heart catheter but then I found out they didnt even do stents here anymore so I refused and asked to be sent to Greenville which I should have done day 1. Some of the food was not edible. It was awful. If you have something seriously wrong with you, please ask to be sent to Greenville right away.

I'm sure the doctors were very good, however I was dissatisfied with their lack of communication!!! The Drs transferred our brother to Vidant in Greeville.... No not as quiet there, but his Dr shared more information In 5 minutes than we had in 5 days at Lenoir

The ideal Health Care Center for non invasive procedures. If you have a serious life threatening illness. They do not have the equipment to treat you. You've been warned. The staff however was very pleasant to my bestfriend while getting ready to spiritually transition. And I thank them for that. But they just don't have the equipment.

Worst place to go to. People literally well laugh and drink coffee. Waited in a room for a whole two hours before someone came to see me. The doctors dont care. They rather just sit in the chair forever.

Was brought in by ambulance with a back injudy and was told they would not treat me unless I got into wheelchair and sat in the lobby . They somehow got me in a wheelchair and pushed me into the lobby. When my wife got there I was passed out in my chair , when she grabbed me I fell out of the chair, severalpeople in the waiting room came and helped her get me back in the chair. That's when they came out ,women me up and told my wife to get him out of here . She pushed me outside with no help to get me in the car , thankfully there was an elderly man who helped her vet me in the car . This place is a death trap. 2 months earlier I had to leave against med advice because my hernia was a out to burst and they said it was just swollen . STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE , IT IS NO GOOD AND YOU WILL DIE THERE .

Disgusted!!!!!! Worst hospital I have ever dealt with! Their opinion, prejudices and preconceived idea's about someone thet have never treated before, allowed them to discharge my fiance while in DKA. He drove 3 hours home to be treated by REAL doctors and nurses. I hope their legal team is beter than their medical staff!!!!

Knowledgeable doctors and nurses treated me with dignity; all staff was kind and helpful. I received excellent care and I would recommend this hospital to anyone, especially if it is an emergency. It is my firm belief that the quick diagnosis and appropriate medications which followed saved my life. I am so thankful to have a community hospital like Lenoir Memorial.

They treated my mother a travel nurse God awful. She got in with a contract with them. for 2 days she had her orientation with them. She failed one of her test by one point which she was allowed to take it up to 3 times. The instructor giving the test went over the questions with her. My mom asked if she could write them down which she was told no so she did not write them down retook the test and made a 97. After that my mom's traveling recruiter told her corporate called him and said they were canceling her contract because she was unhappy at first because she failed the first test the first time anyone would be disappointed plus they lied and said she wrote down the answers which she didn't. So they wastes my mother's time and money. Now she has to find another contract and be without money until next contract comes in.

Terribly high bills , wife broke her arm at 7pm one night they xrayed it bandaged it up and told her to see a Orthopedic Doctor next morning right away,bill was over $3,100.00

Been sitting in this waiting room for 3.5 hours to be seen for chest pain and breathing problems. Its sad the only way you will get seen is if you are bout damn dead. I refuse to come back to this hospital. I will die on the road to pitt or wayne. Ridiculous!

My brother passed away from heart failure when this hospital said he had throat cancer. The cancer didn't spread but they gave him chemotherapy and radiation all in the same week for a person who was small and didn't need that aggressive treatment. Also they took too much blood from him that they had to replenished. There is more but I rather not say more. The doctor and staff communication with my family was terrible. 2 weeks before he passed he was talking fine, he just had trouble eating. My father passed away also in this hospital years ago from their incompetence. This hospital to me is horrible and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

My unborn daughter at the time, husband and I almost died in this hospital after a car accident we had while I was pregnant. I just erased the whole paragraph of all the details because Its just tooo long. (I could literally write a book with all the wrong things the staff did to us) thank god my daughter is fine and my husband and I were able to get treated at other hospitals because they didn't even do things that you would think make sense to do after you've had a MAJOR car accident like for example getting a simple X-ray. You know their staff is a joke when you talk to other doctors/nurses and they can't even believe the level of negligence we experienced. All I can say is STAY AWAY from this TERRIBLE hospital.

Always crappy service. Mother and grandmother have both been here recently and they sent in students who had no idea what they were doing. Pricked my mother and grandmother many times due to lack of knowledge and experience. I understand that these students need to gain experience but the knowledge they had was definitely not enough to send them out and into a hospital already. Take the time and drive to Vident if you live in Kinston. Trust me your life literally may depend on it.

Keep watching I am going to list the nurses in the labor and delivery that are awesome and some not so But a few with very poor manners and treated us like we were stupid and handled my newborn as if she was a rag doll Not happy about that

Being a previous employee of UNC Lenoir I can vouche for the exceptional group of physicians and healthcare teams that work at this specific facility. Very small town friendly feel and patient care really does come first, it truly reflects in every one’s attitude from the moment you walk in the door. Beautiful facility considering it is community funded. Well-oiled machine if I must say so myself. I love and miss my Lenoir family and would recommend UNC Lenoir to anyone needing care in an acute setting or anyone considering employment.

Doctor was to advance my wife diet as her health improved and she was able to tolerate more solid food. This was not done. I had to buy food and bring to her. I and nurses told him that she tolerated it but no change in diet. This was not a good experience. Very bad communication with doctors. When I talked with Dr. he blamed nurses which is bogus. Said he didn't know what to say. I thought, how about "We messed up I'm sorry."? Nurses and other staff were great!!!

Crappy excuse of a hospital. What hospital you know doesn't take the stethoscope to listen to the patient breathe and listen to their heart?? Especially in a child that's having flu like symptoms and has a fever. And upon d/c, didn't even check temp to make sure it had gone down!! Last but not least, prescribes a medication that has nothing to do with the illness at hand!! Very unsatisfied with the so called service that was received. Shut it down or do better!!

I know you have to wait I understand,but when a person that is almost dying and need attention asap. He is made to wait in the waiting room Lenoir needs to hire more nurses for the e.r. or something. I understand payroll and it costs money to have extra doctor's around. But this is a hospital and a crappy one at that, my best friend is sitting beside me can barely breathe and they still can't get no help or anything please let this help Lenoir county hospital understand something needs to be done this level of hospital service is the crappiest in North Carolina. Somebody needs to help this hospital rise from the ashes, because this hospital is dead almost like friend.

110% Better than Wayne Memorial! Faster and nicer. I have been to both and Lenoir has given wayyyyyy better care than Wayne every time.
