My Brother Curtis Caviness was transferred there from Va on January 11th 2019. The nurses, the Doctors, the entire staff was truly attentive and answer every question our family asked. My Brother transitioned on January 23rd 2019. My family would like to thank the 4th floor staff and caregivers for the comfort and peacefulness during our time of sorrow .

My mother-in-law was transferred to Kindred Hospital for intensive wound care and she received excellent care! When she was first transferred there, we received some mixed opinions about Kindred, but we discovered that the people at Kindred provided my mother-in-law with outstanding care. The clinical staff, dietitians, physical therapist, social workers, and doctors were excellent. We could not have been happier with her care. The room was always clean and the staff were kind and informative. Thanks to all that had a part in her care!

My husband was sent there last January from Danville. The first few days were great. However as time went on the care got horrible! One respitory therapist came in and was so rude to him, calling him a coward & worse. After about 6 weeks stuck in a tiny room, a doctor walked in and just bluntly and cold told him “you’re going to die”. Sent him home, he died 2 days later. Please keep your loved ones out of that place!!

Kindred Hospital is and excellent hospital. You get Great Care here from I've experience with my husband. All the staff that treated my husband was great. Debra was one was of my favorite nurses made it more personal. But all the staff was great. We have being here since Jan 4,2019 and we are leaving today very happy. The most impressive thing is everyone speaks to you.

My daughter was a patient in your establishment. They took adequate care of her....until it came time to "go we won't get paid anymore". (from Medicaid/Medicare.) You all Did find her a fine long term facility (Brian Center in Eden)....However....When the Brian Center contacted your facility "she has never been here".....Well....Gee...You got paid $36,000!!! For someone who was Never There???? Should I contact Medicaid that they paid a bill for someone who was never there???? Should we ask for a refund?

I came to Kindred on March 16, 2018. I could not walk, I was on a vent and was not sure if I would get off. I owe my recovery in large part to the dedicated team at Kindred. Everyone is kind, devoted, and patient centered I am very blessed. Thanks to all the staff for all you do. Your kindness and devotion will never be forgotten Ella Atkinson

From a employee standpoint...Its A stressful place to work...THEY CONTACTED ME ABOUT MY PREVIOUS REVIEW...so I decided to edit it...ONLY because if this hospital didn't exist, very ill patients would not have a place to get better. They handle very sick people who need vents and dialysis. I'm not going to lie though, it was stressful for me and hard work. I see the good they do...I won't take that away and I would hate for the patients to not have a place to heal. These are patients who are coming out of acute care facilities and need more done. These patients come from many states bordering NC. Due to the fact they provide specialty care. I did not edit my review for the CEO....I am doing it only for the patients/current employees because I would hate for them to suffer. If census is low, many are not called to work and many have to get second jobs. It's funny how they knew to call me provided I do not use my real name on Google....A hurt dog will holler.....keep that in mind

Thats a nasty place! When I arrived I had to ask for hand sanitizer and lots of paper towel and wash the bed rails (filthy) and that bathroom uggggg. Theres one cleaning lady, she will mop the bathroom first then mop the room. JUST GROSS!!!! The only reason it got 1 is because theres no zero but the wound care nurses get a five all day, they are the best at what they do!

Terrible service and all staff should go back to school my late relative was kept in horrible condition something that your supposed to watch hourly was being watched daily we even asked the nurse and he responded with I check that daily so clearly more schooling needs to be in the hospitals we take our love ones to those people are unquestionably unqualified to be there
