My cousin, Ayana Rivera, who is immobile, unable to talk, unable to care for herself, prostrated in a bed for 13 years was abused at this facility. She has stitches above her eye. It is gross negligence on the hospital's part. How dare they attempt to move a child without proper equipment? Shame on the staff/administration for their lack of sensitivity and lack of care in addressing this situation. No parent/child should have to endure this. Shame on you St. Mary's Hospital!!!

My son Schneider Joseph did a toys for tots at the hospital on 12/21/18 and the staff members Giselle and Victoria who were assigned on the receiving end were very accommodating, friendly and patient. Our family look forward to attending the hospitals Walkathon in May 2019 and to continue supporting and volunteering in the near future.

About a year after my grandson was born we noticed he refused to eat any solid food and we had feeding therapists coming to the house which really didn't help at all, He was basically living on pedisure and yogurt, When he was about 2 1/2 we heard about St. Mary's and how amazing the staff is there, We visited there and we were told the only way to get him to eat was to go there for 6 weeks from 9 till 4pm 5 days a week where he would be constantly with a therapist constantly and we ( my daughter and I were able to observe how she worked with him from a screen in a different room so we would be able to do the same. I am not saying it was easy but he did start taking in solids slowly but surely, He is now 12 years old and healthy, Loves pizza and burgers and gyros too! He is still very fussy about what he eats but he eats and is a healthy weight, We had never heard of this problem in children before my grandson had it, There were many children being treated for it there. I admire the dedication of the entire staff of St. Mary's Childrens Hospital.

St. Mary's ''top notch'' care has always been in question. I have a relative that has lived there for over a decade. Year after year she gets hurt, bruised, cut & now she's suffering a severe cut that's stitched up. She cannot talk, walk, and is incapacitated. The staff have not provided a logical explanation for this incident. In addition, she's had unresolved cases of missing personal items more than 5 times! This hospital is not what they advertise to be. Please ensure to thoroughly research this facility before you ever decide to have your family member brought there to live!

To the Rivera’s if you have such a problem with the staff and facility why continue keeping her there for over a decade sounds like you are turning a little incident into something it should not be and at the same time playing with peoples jobs. I volunteered here a few months ago, with other colleagues from my office. The staff at St. Mary's are a wonderful group of friendly, caring and skilled people. The building was clean and bright and filled with Joy. The kids were happy and truly engaged in all the activities that we did with them. I can't say enough good things about this place.

My daughter ayana Rivera been there 13 years and she been getting hurt and july 5 she was rush to emergency room where they gave her 4stiches on her right eye and now they dont want to used the Hoyer lift they put it on hold mind you the tenichan came check n said everything was ok with it how to person that's trained hurt a child that doesnt move or talk and claim that is accidental it dont sound good ...I have pics videos of every thing that goes there they're careless

The preschool program here at St. Mary's is the best of the best. The teachers are caring, nurturing, and really love their job. Your child will come out of preschool phonetically aware, be able how to write their name, recognize all letters, shapes, numbers, know how to put together difficult puzzles, read some words and most importantly be socially developed. I have a daughter currently in the program and am hoping I will be able to place my son into the program in September as well. Three of my children have already graduated from St. Mary's and are in the gifted and talented program in their current school. I strongly feel St. Mary's played a strong role in the development and their success.

My coworkers and I volunteered at St. Mary's Hospital and we were able to spend an afternoon with the wonderful kids and staff there. The staff was knowledgable, caring and patient. Everyone was extremely kind and gentle. We were given a quick tour of the facility and it was clean and welcoming. There is an incredible music room where they provide music therapy for the kids. When it came time to do activities with the kids, the kids were amazing and there was plenty of staff there the whole time to guide us and help the kids. It was a wonderful experience and so great to know that there is a place like this for kids with special needs. It takes a special group of angels to work in a place like this. Keep up the great work St. Mary's and thank you for all you do.

My 16 year old daughter volunteers here to help with reading and talking with the kids. The staff are really good people and they care about the patients well being. Some of these kids have really terrible illnesses and having good staff that cares means a lot to the families.

Where do i begin? This hospital has been in charge of caring for my innocent little sister who has been in a coma for over 12 years. In that time she has been scratched,bruised,cut where shes had to receive stitches on her face and of course the hospital never has a valid explanation as to what happened to my little sister who cant defend or speak for herself. The staff here are reckless and rough with the children there should be no reason for my sister to be getting injured in a place where she should be healing and getting special care. Where do we go from here?we’ve tried so many different things and get the same results it’s disgusting what’s happening to my poor baby sister who has no idea whats going on when we aren’t there. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!

St. Mary's staff show lack of care and compassion, such as not doing enough to ensure the patient is comfortable. The HR department are incapable of responding to requests or complaints in a timely manner. My relative there has suffered several injuries due to the carelessness and uncaring staff.
