GREAT HOSPITAL!

The best hospital in the world
(Translated by Google) Excellent service!!! (Original) Excelente servicio!!!
One of the best hospitals in the world! Depends on the department, but everything is generally great.
Best pediatric hospital in ny
My wife was admitted for several days in the pediatric neonatal unit, which is consistently ranked as one the best in the country. They certainly lived up to their billing -- high quality care across everyone we interfaced with, from admissions and food services staff to the doctors/nurses. Obviously we would have preferred not to have spent time there, but the overall experience was excellent.
Excellent hospital
Horrible experience ! The wait time is ridiculous! 3 parents and myself had to get nasty to get some attention NEVER GO THERE
i love this hospital every time i have to visit they are very kind and caring. i appreciate their service.
absolutey the most amazing hospital, doctors, staff memebers.
Bad staff
What a pleasant staff and facility. My friends just had their newborn daughter here and I loved visiting them. Must try the apple juice!!!
Best hospital in NEW YORK
I work there
Best care for kids in medical need. PICU staff are so devoted, and all about getting the child the best medical treatment possible. Been there few times with Yung patients in critical condition.
I’ve had surgery here back in 2013, nurses were horrible, they did not have feelings towards patients with pain, they were very robotic in the way they handled their patients. Doctors were like phantoms, you barely see them while being hospitalized or when even requesting them. And when they do send you a doctor it’s a 16-year-old.
Dr. Emile Bacha and the nurses on the sixth floor of the Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital were great! Dr. Bacha, completed a very difficult surgery for my daughter. We had a hard time finding a doctor who could perform this surgery in and out of this country. He was not only willing to see her and perform the surgery, he made her a priority. We are forever grateful that he went out of his way, and gave our daughter a chance at life. The nurses on the sixth floor very kind, patient and loving towards our daughter. English is not her first language, and she has grown frustrated with being in and out of hospitals, however, they were never frustrated with her. They kept the atmosphere light and positive, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
the worst Emerrgency room and Hospital for children..please take your child to another hospital!! The waiting times are insane.. I was waiting for 2 hours for them to see my daughter in the emergency and never any doctor come to see her!! There is 1 doctor in the whole hospitals? never see one!! Nurses are from africa dont understand english very well! don't seem to care about the patients. Every nurse you see.. Seems like they are training and or started recently . Stay away from this hospital please do a favor for your lovely child!!STAY AWAY..... SAVE TIME.......TIME IS CRITICAL FOR A PATIENCE!
Choose another hospital to take your children. Go at your own risk. Dr. Mindy Stimell-Rauch is NOT to be trusted.
Great doctors and nurses, TERRIBLE customer service and waiting time....Like this might actually be the slowest place on earth, how does the “emergency room” give the slowest service....ignorant “registered nurses”. I came at 1PM from a doctors appointment sent straight to the emergency room... 2AM hit and i’m still not receiving urgent care. I just don’t understand. “Give me a few minutes” turns into AN HOUR
My daughter was given a heart from a POST LIVER TRANSPLANT patient. Which you aren't supposed to do. The infection went to her brain. After a long 3 months and many brain surgeries my poor little 8 yr old daughter died. I saw 1 child in 3 months live. Nursing staff great would NEVER trust the doctor's.
My son came because he had a chest pain at 6pm and now me and my son where wating and its 11pm and they didnt call to see the doctor .and i dont know as a mother at what time were gonna go home.i really dont get what they colled emergency.
I was felling really bad and this make wait more than 2 hours for see me this is last time i will visit this hospital i prefer to die before visit this hospital
So let me start by saying the nurses were kind but not as gentle as you would want them to be with your baby. They let my baby go a little sick which is weird but okay. The parking valet staff was horrible worst experience in my life. The manager" Bridgette S. was like a mad black women. She was stressing me out more despite my situation because I didn't have my discharge paper until later on in the day and I needed to get clothes for my baby. That was the rudest person and so awful. I pray to god they changed those people to work in a children's hospital and giving moms a hard time over petty ness. When I called her management team spoke with people Like Juan and a Luis who claim they will accommodate me for what she was putting me through and they lied as well. I don't wish anyone bad but god don't like ugly. I don't want this to happen to anyone so please spread the word they should not work with a hospital period. My experience was traumatic. And I still have tension because of what she put me through.
One the most bad hospital I have been at. Waiting to wait again always takes about three hours staffs always act careless and they tend to make your stay bad.
The wait time was outrageous
Been here a few times. And I have to say that this is the worst ER and Hospital for children.. The wait times are insane.. I was waiting for 20 hours for them to see my daughter in the emergency. There is 1 radiologist in the whole hospitals. Nurses and doctors don't seem to care about the patients. Every nurse or doctor you see.. Seems like they are training and or started recently . Stay away from this hospital .
Unparalleled medical care. Staff can be a little more friendly.
the gave my sick kiddo free shronk pass. lol
6th time in the emergency and always a six to eight hour wait time just to be seen. This time 5 hours and I walked out. Do not go if your child is not bleeding or something of the sort. A father to another child told us before he walked out some doctors were watching the game though. We waited an hour after the game and still nothing. There were four people waiting when I walked in, about 15 more cases arrived and almost emptied out again...just too busy to really care.
My Son Had A MRI A Couple Of Days Ago There And The Nurses Were Amazing! He Had To Go Through General Anesthesia And He Woke Up Fine. I Do Reccomend Going There If Your Childs Needs A MRI Scan
NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital provide great medical services for children's. doctors are fully experienced.
I had a blood and urine test and I never received any information or diagnosis about it. That was weird. The only thing I received was a very expensive invoice.
Horrible service. Three hour wait time. Don't come here, if you want your child to be seen fast.
Worst Children Hospital ever, nobody cares about anyone, 5-8 hrs waiting, staff (doctors and nurses) rude. In addition they forget to give med to my nephew and they act like "no a big deal"
Wouldn’t take my daughter anywhere else

Beautiful hospital and staff
Best staff! I don't like hospitals at all but choosing this place to give birth was one of the best decisions I made!!
Your time or health condition it's not precious.
If I could never go back to this hospital, I won't! It ia literally the wrost. It feels like the staff do not care about the patients. No matter how big the emergency, it always seems to be taking forever. Every time I come they take or me or any patients after 3 to 4 hours. It feels like they do not have enough doctors. I've seen childers of all ages in the worst conditions and they always seem to take the ones who comes first. I feel like if this hospital took care of patients with worst conditions than other, or taking care firsy of the ones who can't take the pain no more it would be a better Emergency Room. This feels like a regular visit that's with appointments and Emergency room is not about that! I am very disappointed with this hospital!
(Translated by Google) It's very good I recommend it
It's the number 1 children's hospital in new york
Good one for service
Very nice and clean
Best Hospital Ever. The nurses and doctors in pediatric icu were working tirelesly to save my cousin and they did. Also the staff on the cancer floor/ward.
I've been to this hospital so many times with my pregnant fiance im going to make a few points about this hospital 1. The wait time is way more than 3 hours its 5+ 2. The nurses are inexperienced and they lack respect , customer service and discipline . 3. There a hospital with a hygiene issue They do not consider the amount of pain your going through .We come all the way from Brooklyn just to be able to get the best service and we don't this place needs to step there game up because i will not tolerate the lousy service and disrespect .
the worse emergency room i been to ..nurse didnt attend my son
I was in the children's emergency room. It took about 4 hours for us to see a doctor. The doctors are decent but their needs to be a more efficient way for patience to see doctors without wait for hours
The Childrens emergency is the worst place I've ever been. Had a horrible experience and I'll never take my baby there again. I can never recommend this place to anyone. My baby went in there without fever and they said my baby has fever. The doctor was incompetent. They had no idea how to control the incubator. They had made it incredibly hot in there and my baby had been sitting under blue lights and a hot incubator for hours. When they came to take my babys temperature they said it was high. They had no feelings. Every time someone would lay a finger on my baby she would start crying. She was scared, she was in shock. Horrible place. When I started telling them all this and how displeased I was with them they called another E.R. doctor in and a couple of incubator technicians. They had them explain to me that the incubator does not raise the body temperature, but I did notice that they lowered the temperature inside the incubator form 36.5 to 32. When I bought this up to them they tried to brush it off and say no that's not the reason the body temperature went up, it doesn't work that way but I told them I don't buy it. They put my baby through hell anyway and just like I thought and felt all the tests came back negative, as I believed there half never been any fever, it was the incompetent doctor that was the problem. Once they had lowered the temperature to the incubator my baby's temperature never went above 37. That's it for me and that place, it's the place on earth I would go to.
Only come here if you don't care if you die or not. Went in for gallbladder surgery. horrible experience!
Wonderful you don't need to wait for hours and hours all employees behave in a professional and polite way

The staff is extremely nice and professional. They saved my son life and new how to handle his pain so nicely. God bless all of them.
Love it! Great service! My baby was born here! Best decision of my life! Everyone was so nice with everthing they did. Everyone had great attitude. Felt like everyone there LOVED their jobs! Loved my whole experience with this hospital.
Been waiting over 3 hours. Been lightly examed no room yet and I can barely move. Screw this place.

Great service !!!!!
Best hospital ever
The saved my life in 1976 from rabdomyo sarcoma paat the early stages in a difficult location. They took great care of me. I love them.
Not professional at all, receive patients after two hours from admission, rooms too dirty, room windows without curtains and no unit control for air condition , Nursing team are not experience to deal with people coming to deliver babies. NOT RECOMMENDED TO PASS BY EVEN.
I love Morgan Stanley childrens Hospital When I was in the hospital I was in Great care wow I was dealing with my Injury the hospital staff who is nothing but professional and took great care of me I really recommend this hospital its one of the Best in New York ‼️‼️
I would like to talk about the customer service of the area of sonograms on the 12th floor. Today I had an appointment to check my baby and when I arrived the first thing I did was say good morning, there were two girls and neither of them answered,Then one of them answered me and I approached her because she thought that she was going to help me with my date, because one of her with short hair and a laugh told me that no one had told me that she was going to help me. and I very politely told him that ok and a white American gentleman called me to help me. It is unacceptable that a customer service is so bad but so bad, they should hire people who really want to work, be courteous and kind to patients. It was 10 am and that was the attitude of a person who is supposed to try to help and make patients feel good and much more pregnant women like me. Finally I did not respond to that bad educated because when ignorance speaks, the intelligence is silent.
They saved my Daughter's life and she's now being seeing by the best in pediatric Orthopaedic doctor ever. I can be more happy!
Excellent the best Children Hospital Ever Recommend
This is the worst pediatrician ER hospital ever my child went ithere with a problem no treatment no help at all just a waste of time please take your kids to other hospital

I would like to mention that just the lady in the gift shop was incredibly nice and patience with me. I called from Spain via skype just to give a present to my little cousin and she spent almost 20 minutes with me helping me decide what to buy for her. So I can imagine how is the rest of the satff... I am glad she is in a very nice Hospital, with awesome people and good taking care. Thanks a lot for your great help, support and professionalis!!
Good staff
My experience? (children's hospital E.R.) how can people give this emergency room 3 or 4 stars? are you just staying -home parents?...for sure you will wait a ridiculous several hours (if you are lucky) to receive medical attention. I have two visits in count that I left their E.R. without seeing the doctors. I live in Inwood and I am looking for a good Children's E.R. Do your guys have any suggestions? I used to go to Wyckoff pediatric in Brooklyn. I would not recommend the adults services, but I will definitely do the pediatrics. Unfortunately that hospital is very far from uptown Manhattan.
On 11/21/18 I took my daughter to the pediatric ER located at 3959 Broadway.Security was nice, front desk down stairs was pleasant. The individual that was conducting patient registration was on his cell phone with the speaker on while stating my demographic information to me....could use further training regarding HIPAA. My child was called in for vitals and the staff that took my child’s vitals did not say a word to me, remained silent. No customer/patient service what so ever. I told her thank you a few times and there was no response from her. Then we got called into the back to see the doctor, the other staff that took us to the back also did not say a word till she had to direct us to the room in where we would be waiting for the doctor. If anyone thought that was terrible including myself it only got worse when the doctor arrived, he didn’t introduce himself at all. Only said “yes” instead of hello I’m doctor so and so, what brings you in today? Like other doctors with professionalism would say. Then in the end when we were being discharged Dr Laurence Williams stated to me “don’t take her temperature cause then you will see a 103 and go oooooo oh my god and come running to the ER”. What doctor says that!? An unprofessional one, why discriminate and make assumptions cause you see a woman that appears young bringing in 1 child that is a toddler to the ER. I work in the Healthcare field and am a professional as well. This isn’t my first rodeo with children, I don’t utilize the ED for anything I always utilize my children’s pediatrician. I didn’t come to the ER only because of her very high fever...I was more concerned about her breathing. He should not be allowed to speak to parents of patients like that. I thought the culture of NY Presbyterian was a culture of caring and putting patients at the center. This hospital definitely does not align with the morals and values of the rest of NY Presbyterian hospitals. Definitely should not have contact with patients/clients in this line of work if you don’t care.
The staff was very nice and took care of my daughter's needs. They make sure to make her stay very comfortable. The whole experience was great!
Great ppl.
If I could zero stars I would, Worst hospital ever!!!!!! They are the reason my friend lost her baby
My sister in-law has been waiting for a room to have my niece for 10 hours. How waits 10 hours to get a room in maternity they are the worse. All they say there is no room
Clean hospital, friendly nurses/doctors/staff, someone I know received heart surgery without any issues. Wonder how much Morgan Stanley paid to have their name on this hospital. They certainly picked a good one.
Stayed there for like 6 hours with so much pain from a toothache and the next day my face was swollen
I brought my two-year old here, midnight on a Friday. I was SO impressed. The nurses and check-in men and women were kind and efficient. The doctor was a pleasure to meet with. She diagnosed my son with an ear infection, and he was immediately given a pain reliever and his first round of antibiotics. The whole process took 2 hours, start to finish, and gave me tremendous peace of mind. Thank you!
Staff very nice. Good doctors.
If I could give it a ZERO, I would. worst experience ever. I went there a few years ago with my son, just renovated. I had to wait 4 hours and my son vomited so many times that he even fainted. I ended up going to another hospital 20 minutes later my son had medication and was much better. Today, a few years later same story. I gave the benefit of the doubt and I extremely regret it. If a parent goes to the emergency room is because there is a potential of something going on with the child's health. I am not a doctor I can just guess. For me to wait hours to see a doctor is a disrespect. I don't know what was wrong with my child. Please if you have another option avoid this place. Some people walked out including me and three mothers were pleading for help. Cut the technology and hire doctors. This community needs a decent hospital. Have some respect for people that pay taxes.
Doctors great treatment ok but hospital to small to treat patients who need to be admitted. Waiting over 12 hours for a room HORRIBLE
I valet my vehicle with quick service by attendant. In my haste I left my wallet in plain site on the console. One hour goes by when I realized what I'd done. With 2 one hundred dollar bills inside my wallet, license, 2 construction licenses (my livelihood) I didn't believe I had much of a chance to see the wallet again. My sister whose child is very sick called down to Vernon, head of Valet service with confidence. She has gotten to know most people who work there very well due to the length of time she spends there. She speaks very well of all the hospital personal including valet. Vernon within 10 minutes found my wallet just where I said I left it intact with the $200 and my licenses! Wow!
Best hospital, nurses are so nice and patient.
HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!...i arrived 820pm didnt get called in until 1106. Not exaggerating. Its 1219am and im still waiting for someone to pick up her chart as we speak!!!!!!
Horrible service wait time to see your child is 3 to 4 hrs they should hire more doctors for better service and less wait time.
Best hospital ever! I have the most amazing doctors to help with my son Autism. The doctors know everything about the Autism Specturm disorder and I’m very very grateful for them all.

The Worst hospital in New York..........
I went to the hospital because I had severe pain. I was greeted with rude nurses. The rudest one was asking irrelevant questions I felt that I am in interrogation room. To make matter worst, I asked to see a doctor but they didn't let me instead the nurses were alternating and were struggling figuring out the issue. I still can't believe going for emergency situation and not able to see a doctor. Even though I asked them to see a doctor, they refused to assign a doctor for my condition. The nurse said that the doctor only sees complicated issues. As result, I left the hospital with more pain and I went to another hospital were I was treated better and I saw a doctor immediately.

I called and was transferred 5 times to different departments looking for a certain doctor. Each time I was transferred it was not the correct number/transfer for the doctor I was looking for. No one knew what they were doing or the doctor I was talking about although I have a prescription from the doctor that's from here. Still trying to locate this doctor...
They are taking wonderful care of my newborn great niece.

Our daughter had a congenital heart defect. Pediatric Cardiothoracic Surgery and Dr. Q was amazing they get a star. Nursing staff was incredible they get a star. Our issues and reason for no more stars are listed below. 1. Child Life and Parent Support system not present. 2. Rounding does not occur until 10-1pm. Depending on severity. This creates a huge problem, here's why. Anyone can tell you shifts run 12 hrs typically 7 to 7's. If orders are not placed until as late as 1 or 2pm they may not happen the same day. Especially approaching a weekend or end of shift. When you are in an environment where rounding occurs between 7a and 9a it allows for orders to be submitted at the beginning of a shift, and guarantees that the day staff can complete their orders and cares. Attending doctors are available during the day to be more involved in care and understand their patients needs. While residents usually handle night care and can monitor and report overnight issues. 3. We were very disappointed in this culture of care. Poor organization and follow through. 4. We are happy with our decision for Surgery with Dr Q, but our care at Montefiore was far more organized, the communication was excellent, the level of follow up and most importantly being involved in their interdisciplinary rounding made all the difference in the world.
Did not have to wait long to get checked with a painful ear infection in both ears that I had 5 days before visiting. But Dr.Micheal Robbins assumed I was there for drugs when I admitted I smoke & he also tried to convince me that smoking caused my ear infection.I was released with just a antibiotic prescription..no earache drops or anything for the pain ..it's been 3 days since and I can't hear from my left ear now and pains only getting worse & he never sent the prescription order to my pharmacy
I cant even call for information , they changed my apointment because they said they were low on staff and now they say they cant give me the date of my new apointment that i have to call back monday to friday to check well i jeed to know the day now not tomorrow, i thought a hospital was to help you but i guess they cant give me a simple apointment information
Amazing place. I was refered here for a surgical consultation with Dr.Steven Stilianos. My older sister had surgery with him to remove her appendix. My gastro doctor thought of the same surgery. Stilianos was very kind and broke down his thoughts for both my parents and me to understand. We decided that the surgery was the best option. The day of the surgery, he was ready to start quickly after we arrived. Pre op techs were kind and made sure we had no questions. The anastesiologist and op nurse came and told me and my parents how it would go. They were very nice. When it was time for my surgery, a nurse came and walked with me to the operation room. I was explained all the machines and what they would do during me surgery. After that, i quickly went to sleep. When i woke up, i was quickly given something to eat and drink. The nurses were consistent in making sure i was holding things down and my oxygen was stable. They came to ckeck my vitals and oxygen every 5 to 10 mins. After less than 2 hours in recovery, i was allowed to go home. We were explained what happened during the surgery, and it went with no complications. My parents were very p,eased with the work done, and my stiches were minimal and well bandaged. Overall, the experience, from the clean hospital, the kind staff, the superb work by the surgeon, this place is one of the best for peadiatric medical needs. I definetly recommend it.
The best nurses and Doctors. They did an excellent job with my daughter. I will not go anywhere else. Thank you everyone.

We have been going to this hospital for almost 14 years for my daughter Niki...she had her liver transplant here her doctor Dr.Lobrito and his staff are the best Anna her nurse has never disappointed us she always has the answers and Dr.Lobrito has taken care of her and always made sure she is ok no matter what..we thank god for this hospital . There's not enough stars in the world to give them.
Do yourself a favor and take a cab to a hospital downtown, it’s often hours of waiting.
This review is for the maternity part of the hospital. Arrived on a friday morning due to High Blood pressure and pregnant wife. Got moved to the 5th floor - pre-natal unit and it was good. the rooms were spacious and the nurse services were adequate. When i mean adequate, i mean they dont let you die. You call and it took them 3 calls from the buzzer to come to our room, right next to the nurse station. Their excuse was, you could have screamed for us if we didnt hear the buzzer or didnt see the light. Second day a better nurse showed up and it was good as expected. Doctors wake you up at 5am and dont see you until next day at 5am again. Never saw the same nurse or doctors in 3 days while there. Got moved to L&D "labor and Delivery" and service was like an upgrade to a suite. Nurses were responsive when the IV's drained and when needed to go to the bathroom etc. This was the best part of the stay, job well done in the 10th floor. After delivery we got transferred to the 6th floor aka hell. The 6th floor is the recovery floor for newborns and mothers. a single room was converted to a 2 patient room that you cant even stretch your legs in. What i mean is that it is so tight in there that the chair has to be put sideways for it to fit and that means that the baby is going to be outside of the curtain wall that belongs to your part of the room.It took them 45 minutes to get the bed inside the room and the patient next to us had to be moved. The nurse didnt fit in the room and had to call someone else to help. Not even being in the room 2 hours, we got moved again but this time it took them 1h 45m to get us back to the 10th floor that is only located 2 minutes away via elevator. Everything went great on that floor but then we had to be moved back again to the 6th floor, aka hell. While in Hell, you get a chair, baby nursery and your bed. guess what, you dont fit and you have to move your newborn either to the nursery or the outside part of your room. It looks like a studio converted into a two bedroom apt. Asked a nurse why does it take so long to get anything done in this floor and her response was, we got a gold star and walked away. While nursers here are a hit or miss: One nurse told my wife a medical term for something and she asked if she could spell it for her so she can google it to find more info on it. She rolled her eyes and walked out. The she brought the breast pumps and just left it there. a few minutes later comes in with formula even when in our paper work it says breast feed only. She says here do this and walks away. My wife calls her back and she asks: Could you at least teach me how to use this machine since im only breast feeding? she walks away and comes back and says give her this (more formula). Thats when i said enough and went to get the supervisor Gladis. While grabbing Gladis i asked another nurse to get me a breast pump since the one in the room was not working, she asked who is your nurse and i pointed to her and she goes ohh i see. here is the pump and Gladis showed up after a 2 minute wait. Im not here because i like it, we came here because we had a medical emergency. if you have a choice go to another hospital. The nurses, not all, are lacking customer service skills big time. The hospital is supposed to teach you how to bathe the baby and give you exit instructions for new mothers. None of that was done. Gladis felt so apologetic and gave us her personal business card to call her. Discharge took another 3 hours to find a wheelchair and numerous walks to the nurse station. When finally discharged, the baby buzzer was taken off by a nice nurse and put on an elevator that heads outside without passing security. I think we should have gone via security to make sre that the baby with us was actually our baby but at this point nothing surprised me about this hospital When i mean never, i mean never going to come back here for anything. the reason for two stars: because some nurses here are actually very good and the L&D department has their act together.
Great place to have your baby!!!

In the psych rooms in the er they forcibly sedate patients for unnecessary bloodwork. NEVER going here again. WORST PEDS ER IN NYC
worst emergency room ever. I don't even know if they pay some to give them these good reviews. my wife is pregnant and spent a ridiculous amount of time in waiting(9 hours)we walked out the emergency room. Then was convinced. To stay and be sent to the children's ob gyo to see a sonogram. And has my wife placed at a waiting chair at the waiting room. Also they don't even provide the wife whom is having severe abdominal pains with a place to lay down, like they have a shortage of beds. I seen hospitals what is considered a 3 world country give better service. Your better going to a UN foundation than the emergency rooms here at Presbyterian hospital. Lincoln hospital and NYU treat you more human than the dump here at 168 Presbyterian hospital. They are more interested In Your insurance process than really doing anything to attend you. The recipetionest. Are drones that they just place your name on a waiting list. Based at the arrival time. Instead of the nature of the emergency. Or even starting a triage process. Not worth the money they charge you for the poor quality of service they provide. The Presbyterian hospital is just a name shame. Very disappointed
I love the security team here! Very engaging and funny. They make spending time in a hospital not so unbearable. 2 thumbs up for the security team!!
