HORRIBLE HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER!!!! RUDE AND NASTY NURSES, DOCTORS, FRONT DESK STAFF, NEVER IN MY LIFE I SEEN SO MANY PROFESSIONALS WITH LICENSES BE SO RUDE MY GOD DONT GO PERIOD!!!!

Tanisha Triple Threat

Very poor patient relations

Rawlson Lawrence

For a pregnant mom, it's been great.

Tee Campbell

The worst hospital ever!!! The Nurses and doctors show no empathy whatsoever. Thank God my relative who needed urgent blood transfusion didn't die today after being unattended to for almost 10hours!

Marjorie Lafontant

The staff (admin & medical) are extremely slow and rude. No one goes above and beyond to assist an individual. After you spend your time in the waiting area. You will have to come back another time, take time off from your job and wait when they feel they are good and ready to see you. Then when you’re called you have to go station to station before you see a doctor. This is nonsense, the average American do not go to the doctor until they are really sick. No one wants to deal with going to station to station when they’re not feeling well or listen to some judgemental medical staff asking you why it took you so long to come to the doctor office. My response, I work... I thought Kings County had improved, no they found another way to continue to receive horrible rating from the community they are suppose to support. Excellent work Kings County.

Gentlemen I completed an architectural model of King county hospital about April of 2000 which should be enclosed and placed in the lobby. The architectural model is the property of the client for display purposes. I am a former patient and a resident of Volunteers of America.

Giselle Baptiste

Best hospital I have been to. The service was excellent. The doctors and nurses were wonderful. Especially the nurses. Great care was given to me. I even cried when I was leaving because I felt like I was leaving family.

Denis Basic

Don’t go here.

Moon Child

Don't even bother coming here to get eye surgery.Run. You'll probably go blind afterwards like my family member did. Now theres nothing they can do about her eyesight .

I too thought this was the worst hospital ever. it is very disorganized and a nightmare in which to work. I could never imagine being a patient there. 30 yrs and many hospitals later, I realised that the workload that these people are handling is being handled amazingly well. rude? remember, the staff are actually people. they are being challenged with an incredible workload. they are likely more frustrated than the clientele. they are getting it from the patients AND their supervisors. you may not know it but you are being served by people, well-meaning, knowledgeable, hard-working PEOPLE.

Nyasha Rhoden

Don’t ever go to there emergency room! We waited over 4 hours to be seen by docs, loud TV, no one tending to the ER patients. Would give them 1 star if not for the competent doctor who finally saw my partner. When I called patient relations to complain, operator said normal time in a NYC ER is 8 hours! He has got to be kidding me. Poor on all sides.

Bridgett Williams

The women's floor(6&7) is not that bad, although I do recommend that the nurses need to be more knowledgeable and not careless and cranky. I will be having my second child here as it is a first being that I moved to nyc. But other then that treatment is fair.!

Mickayel Goddard

A family member recently completed a major surgery at Kings County hospital and could not be happier with the out come . The results have exceeded our expectations. From the initial visit to after care all has been exceptionally well . The staff has been very helpful and patient . Our surgeon was very informative and experienced in his field . This hospital and its staff has afforded us many more years of good health . A sincere thanks to all for a job well done .

They call it "Killer County" for a reason. Nothing but self-righteous, self-centered and selfish individuals working there. I've witnessed people collapse waiting to be seen and staff taking more than their sweet time aiding them because they were to busy gossiping in corners and behind desks like little school girls( security isn't any better). I recommend going anywhere else EXCEPT here. Take it from me, I was unfortunately born in that hell hole. If I could give zero stars, I would smh

Teddy Francois

They take so long to help yu U actually dying by waitin than from d pain

I had a very wonder team of doctors nd nurses attend to me at this hospital. I especially want to say thank you to nurses and doctors at the delivery ward for making me feel so safe during my delivery and for going above their call to assist even in my transition onto the maternity ward. Special thanks to Ms. James at the NST department for being so kind to me always. To Ms. Anna for guiding through all the administrative stuff. To Nurse Harris and the team of nursesat the maternity ward thank you for your patience and words of kindness. To Dr. Gentile and Dr. Dennis at womens care thanks for being a wonderful listening ear and the post partum check ups, Dr. Jamunda Reddi and Dr. Jaime Belo at pediatrics thank you for all the wonderful care you continue to provide for my baby. These people have touched my baby's life forever and they are the reason for the 5 star rsting of Kings County! Keep it up.

Just called a minute ago, and I'm surprised they have such a rude staff. Main desk transfers me without letting me finish my sentence, and had me end up in the wrong department. Records dept just has the absolute worst attitude I've heard over the phone. I have a family member in a hospital that needs records transferred and needed some guidance on how to get my forms faxed. I was given a rude and angry-toned response that gave me little help. Thanks for nothing.

MIMI & NINI 4L

Staff is rude and doesn't tell you what is going one and when asking for help some of them dont come.

Faracathy Brown

The hospital itself is great if you have an emergency especially a pediatric one.

Lissy Caicedo

This place sucks they took my wife in for some mental help and now they don't wanna release her n she even said that she might have been sexually assaulted but I don't wanna bring it up until she gets out of there. This way they cannot say oh she's insane and we gotta keep her longer. All I'm asking is what happened to humanity why is it that everybody does what is best for business and not what's best for an individual. There are families on the line here and they don't seem to care about that at all

So it was a few weeks ago it was my first time I was in king county cause I was thinking about depressing and they took it the wrong way to keep me their overnight for 3 damn days and I was crying and scared and I'm glad my mom stay with me for those 3 nights but this is the worst hostipal to be at I never wanna experienced to be depressed or feel sad I just wanna live my life and to stay away from that hostipal they food is nasty I starve there to death and it's mad cold there and they gave me cold sheets worse nights ever I never wanna go to that hostipal ever again...

Adam Teller

Large hospital, good doctors but needs better guidance.

Pamela Cooper

Honestly the worst hospital ever. The average wait time there was 5 hours. The sheets they put their patients at are super dirty. Everything is unsterile. The doctors make fun of you for asking about the patient and are dicks. They should explain everything to you not make fun of you for asking if the patient is okay. The nurses are even worse. They tried to throw me out for trying to leave my contact information with them. My boyfriend went in for a broken jaw and didn’t even get attended. They told him he needed stitches and they didn’t even clean up his wounds or put a simple bandaid on him. They also let him go home with a prescription of regular Advil for a broken jaw. Overall if you’re shot and you’re dying please go to another hospital. There’s not enough beds and the staff rather gossip than help the screaming patients in the room. This place does not care for their patients at all!

Roshely Roy

My friend was brought to this hospital by an ambulance at around 3:30 in the afternoon. Instead of her getting seen immediately by a doctor or a nurse, she wasn’t seen until we threatened to take her out of the hospital which was about 5 hours later. She was in pain from the car accident and was paid no mind at all. She was consistently being approached by rude staff and nurses and was always given the cold shoulder when asked when she will be seen. If it wasn’t for the select few people that advocated for her, she would still haven’t been seen until hours later. The lack of training and professionalism is apparent amongst the staff in this hospital. No one should ever be approached by rude staff when they are in severe pain and patiently waiting to be seen by medical personnel for several hours. Things that should’ve been done immediately were done 5 hours after she got into the hospital. That is completely unacceptable.

Isaiah Destine

I was in pain and went to Kings county to get checked out, from the desk all the way to the doctor, people were so rude. I asked a nurse a question, her answer was...if you want to go somewhere else I can't force to stay, you're welcome to go because we didn't call you. I know my name and I hear them call my name. I Know I didn't want to go there even if I was dying at the end of the visit.

yannadamable

This hospital has had renovations to the structure but needs an overhaul of their personnel. They are rude and not over helpful. I had an 8am appointment but not seen until after 11am. One doctor had the audacity to try to speak to me like I’m her child. Everyone at this facility needs proper training to deal with the public.

Michael Prescod

I was in and out a lot quicker than I thought I would be

JANICE FLORES

Im sooo annoyed after waiting for a thyroid appt(2 mths) i get here 1/2 hour b4 and is Still waiting to b called over 2 1/2 hour later why book appts if no drs to see them

Rick Franco

not that great but they are doing their best.

Gordon Ford

Super-friendly and helpful staff.

Shawn Ronald

Satisfied.

So if you arrive between 12 & 1PM you’ll find that everyone is out to lunch. We tried to make an appointment on the 7th floor and every room we tried had a sign that they would be back in an hour. No one stayed at any of the desks as a backup. How does that even happen at a hospital! Crazy.

Brenda Lyons

I came into the hospital with bleeding but felt find. I was in the waiting room for about 5 minutes before I was move to Triage. However, had an incident while waiting in Triage and was move directly to the Emergency Room CCT. Doctors were great, knowledgeable and watched over me throughout the day. Unfortunately I had to stay and have emergency surgery. I was moved to Medical ICU and multiple specialty team worked together and thanks be to God saved my life. However, the majority of nurses were great. My 14-day stay I had two lazy nurses; one of them was twice. But the others were amazing, thorough, and watched over me and attended my needs. As in any profession there are people who shouldn't be employed. But minus my bad nurses, the doctors, residents and medical students were true professionals and exceptional medical experts. I know I would not have survived if I was in this trauma hospital.

naiiya Collado

I give this place a one-star. I give it a one star because I have okay experience in the psychiatric side some of the staff are not as helpful but some of them are. I give this a No-star for the E building section 03-29-19. I went to the 6th floor for OBG and I told the nurse what I was there for. Since I was directed to the nurse to take a urine test in order for me to see a OBG after explaining to the nurse why I was there she has the freaking nerves to ask me. why are you here? Smfh. That was the dumbest s*** you can ever do. When I walked in there waiting for them to serve me they did not even ask how may I help you. Is like she didn't even notice that I was there. And then when I tell her what I'm there for she got the freaking nerve to ask me what I'm there for. The emergency side about 5years ago. yeah is a very very long wait I had foot surgery one time and my foot was swollen and it took about five hours for a nurse to see me maybe less after complaining so freaking much about how swollen my foot is and I couldn't walk. They kept me overnight but the staff claim they didn't have enough pillows or a bed to have my foot up for blood circulation so by the time I left the hospital my foot was still swollen. I will say this is not really a good Hospital. I wouldn't recommend this hospital to anyone. It's a beautiful hospital but alot of the staff are a piece of s***!

Jerold Johnson

Nice, clean hospital.!! The staff was accommodating and very helpful.

Mr.joseph

I was admited to the e.r room. It takes long time to get process, the doctor are professional the (black female)nurses act real ghetto when the doctor not around. The S building take a long time compare to other hospital like downstate hospital and momimodie hospital. In the near future I want go back to king county hospital too much headache dealing with people who are real rude on the job over night is the worse all they do is talk act real ghetto I hate this hospital I won't come back here for treatment at all......... I really don't want to give a star they don't deserve it.........the app won't let me leave without rating..... .... ...

Wife and I had the worst experience of our lives there. This hospital is inhospitable. The staff are extremely rude. Every request was met with disdain. My wife nearly died, and not only was there NO EXPLANATION as to what happened, but nothing was done to remedy our concerns. Our questions were treated like interrogation, and our family was treated like hostile witnesses. The doctor's kept information from us, and everyone was extremely secretive. Even my wife's medical records were left intentionally vague and nondescript. We caught a representitive from the hospital taking photos of my wife passed out in the NICU. When we confronted him, he denied it. Had we not been traumatized by the experience, we would have pursued legal action. Frankly, we are still thinking about it. Dr Lisa Ricketts-Holcomb admitted my wife, then verbally attacked her while in the delivery room. My wife ended up in the NICU, and at NO POINT was Dr. Holcomb compassionate, or informative. We did hear a lot about one of her grandparents being an important doctor in L.A., and how great she was going to be though. I would stay clear of this hospital at all costs. If the staff is rude, and the doctors arent held accountable, then why punish yourself by attending this facility. Live's are on the line, and the hospital hasnt trained they people properly.

carl pulley

Went to ER with unknown illness, stayed for three weeks, hospital staff saved my life.

Ben Yisrael

Went to get tooth pulled. They were very nice and fast. Not too packed the wait is not long never crowded.just get there before 3 pm to see about your teeth. Always seats available.

Christina Yeung

Horrible bedside manner, cleanliness, and support. Waiting room ER smelled like urine. Bf went in for a large infection that caused the lower half of his face to be swollen and numb while his gums were sensitive to bite. This was from popping a zit. IV antibiotics were prescribed. However, we had a question about the infection and the doctor and nurse didn't want to pursue. Blanket answer and stare "a culture is needed to find out what bacteria caused the infection". bf had a spiking fever! I asked how we can get a culture tested - no answer but dismissed me to the waiting room. ATT hospital managment: you need to provide more support to your employees because they're clearly overworked and easily irked. otherwise, a manager needs to be on the floor to help with support for questions and services. There are plenty of hospitals nearby so please avoid this place!

Michelle Castillo

The staff at this hospital are EXTREMELY RUDE!!! No phone manners at all! No introduction on the phone, and God forbid you ask a question of any sort, the response is that the nurse is annoyed with having to answer her phone and answer any questions. I work at a hospital and although none are perfect, at least we have better phone manners and are much more courteous!! Hopefully those staff members never encounter the rudeness that I’ve encountered every time I’ve called to check on my family member, God forbid they have a family member in the hospital! This hospital needs to provide a CBL to their staff members on telephone etiquette STAT!!!!

Carrie-Ann Kloss

The previous address (58 Brooklyn ave) didn't seem to show a hospital according to the satellite image. It's also the same address for Ebony the electronics store, which may not be the correct address either. Maybe somebody can scout this out. Other than that, Kings County Hospital Center is a good size hospital on the map, but not as big as New York Presbyterian Hospital.

Carla Paul Wilson

Been there for 1st time last weekend I have a wonderful experience the staff was the best. The doctors nurses and the OBGYN staff was very professional with me. Even the meals was fantastic. I'm very thankful for everything they have done for me keep up the great Job.

Ermajean Abrams

Great experience my brother was there for awhile after he had a little episode some years back they treated him great. The doctors and nurses was very nice as well as the front desk person. Then my cousin was there a little after, same service and then my aunt was there about a week or two ago. Me and my family was able to bring them outside food with no problem thank God

Kreig Zimmerman

Excellent experience for an endoscopy. Was under and back up in record time. Dinging a star because they took a long time to discharge which inconvenienced the friend who had kindly offered to pick me up.

E Al

The ER doctor that saw me (old jewish lady) saved my life. She put the misinformed resident (PGY-2) in check by scolding him for misdiagnosing my condition. Staff were attentive and professional. NYCH+H is really recruiting the best doctors and administrators now. Keep up the good work and hire young people. The older ones are just there doing nothing and collecting pensions.

Orlando Williams

Seems like they don't even know what they're doing.

Ta Kiwi

Hands down THE WORST customer service experience. It never ever ever fails. Every single time I come to this E.R the staff are disturbingly rude. It's been so for years. The only reason why I come to Kingscounty E.R is because it's convenient. I work in medical field myself and there is absolutely no way our staff would be able to get away with half of the things that I've personally witnessed from kings county staff. The front desk are rude. The nurses are worst! I never right bad reviews but tonight while sitting in this deplorable E.R , I've had enough!

Salauddin Joy

Highly recommend not to go kings county hospital for baby’s birth. I have 2 kids born on difference hospital and I see the difference service they provided. They were horrible with service, unprofessional, and bad behavior. They yelled at visitors, and patient. One of the nurse was yelling my wife to “get out” from the room. Not enough nurses to help the patient. New born baby/patient were not taken care of properly. We want a ice for the baby mama, we told the nurse at list 10 time in 6 hours and she is telling us that she is busy, go to other nurses and other nurse saying I’m not responsible to that room. We end up buying from outside. Highly recommend not to go kings county hospital, I wish I can give 0 rating. Thanks

I came here 2 weeks ago at 8pm to the ER and it took 3 hours just to be Triaged, and another half hour to be registered and this was only because I kept pestering one of the nurses who was at the clerk desk. She ended up being the one to Triage me. I ended up leaving at 11:45pm without seeing a doctor, because the staff told me it would be another 4-6 hour wait before I would actually be seen by the attending doctor. There was only 1 nurse working the Adult ER section so I understood why everything was moving slowly, but the front desks seemed clearly disorganized. Not to mention that the triage rooms were a mess. I had a very high fever and have been on and off sick the past few months. Due to connections I have here at the hospital, I chose to visit their ER to get tested, but was sadly disappointed with the level of service and overall experience. I wasn't even able to sit because the waiting area was full of people who were NOT patients, but visitors. I think that's completely unacceptable as there is a main lobby area with a more appropriate waiting area. It's one thing for people to be impatient and unwilling to be sympathetic of the situation at hand, but short staffed or not, waiting 8 hours just to be seen by the doctor is quite unrealistic, all the while patients arrive already not feeling well. I don't like nor enjoy leaving bad reviews for establishments, especially for a hospital. However this is not my first experience with Kings County, and I must say, this last experience has me driving a little further out of my way to visit a different hospital. This hospital has potential, but I don't see it improving for many many years to come.

Gisel Zapata

The worst hospital ever!!! I don’t recommend this horrible place, the doctors are mean and dry same with the nurses. I had an awful experience a year ago.

Steve Cohen

If you want good quality patient care go to New York Presbyterian Weill Cornell Hospital

Ms. Ravenwood

IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY MEMBER DO NOT BRING THEM TO THE R Building , The staff and security are the lowest form of human beings dealing with people with PSYCHIATRIC problems.

Philicia Murray

I gave it 2 stars because of the nurses in the D building on the 6 floors south. Most of them i think got this job just for the check. They talk more than they work. I could tell you most of the nurses business the way they run they mouth. And it's sad cause that do work. Work they ass off while the rest chill. You can tell who do it for love and who do it for a check

John Carter

Does very well with infants, not do much with adults lol

Rachel Diamond

I had been off my behavioral meds for a month and was advised to go to the ER here to get them. I was turned away at the psych ER because intake would "take too long" and the clinic was opening soon. I went to the clinic and was told I really should've gone to the ER; when they brought me to the ER, I was told I really should've gone to the clinic. When I told the clinic that I needed a prescription, they literally laughed in my face. All in all, I spent 6 hours here being treated like an addict when all I needed were my SSRIs, for which I had proof of prior prescription. They kept demanding phone numbers from me, but wouldn't let me charge my dead phone. Going here gave me one of the worst days of my life. Please don't treat your mentally ill patients like prisoners; we're already depressed.

yvette walbrook

In reference to Patricia Havens review I was the patient.. I can honestly say these people Deborah Wilson, Donnalyn Adlam, * Petal St. Louis Verona Murray and *Davika James in the cardiac unit were absolutely the nicest people I meet in quite sometime.. they treated me like I believe family.. we talk, laugh, shared stories.. I truly didn't mind the wait to be transported back to my room.. I also like to mention Nurse Ms Bell who looked after me in my room.. Her shift was over and before she left she came to say good bye and realized my IV had stopped and attended to it before she left.. Amazing! who do that? This review is very important to me because these things go unsaid to often.. If you have a good experience while staying in the hospital take time to post it.. May God Bless you guys and keep up what you do. Thank you Mrs Yvette Walbrook

Camilia Edwards

My husband had a filling put in and in less than 24 hrs it came out. We went back to the dental ER and was told we would have to do the entire day over, as in register, wait to be seen and get the filling done again. The time is 8:25am and the receptionist at window 6 has the worse attitude already. I asked to speak to the supervisor and its the same thing. These people really do not know how to deal with the public. If there was a zero

Loyalty Chevry

They are very rude leave you on the phone forever trying to check on my brother nobody answers and when they do they just leave you on the phone I call back so many times no answer smh

raygan hamilton

Excellent experience for an endoscopy. Was under and back up in record time. Dinging a star because they took a long time to discharge which inconvenienced the friend who had kindly offered to pick me up.

Deborah B

Avoid this hospital at all costs. Quality of care is extremely poor, staff is unbelievably horrible. Hopefully the girl that came in with gangrene yesterday gets a second opinion before she loses her foot.

jk bhat

Friendly suggestion to whoever is the in charge of this hospital please name the hospital emergency ward as nightmare ward .People walk in to emergency ward with sudden pain or other serious symptoms but what you guys do is make them wait minimum 6 hours to see a doctor.I see hundreds useless employees walking around talking garbage in their cellphone but very few doctors to handle the patients who are suffering.

Ajah Marley

I would not recommend going there for adults treatments, they lack everything that they should have as a staff. Doctors took forever to see me, while I’m in sickle cell pain. Did get a bed for a good minute and when I did, I was on a bed in the hall way. The staff was just sitting around laughing and chatting with the other staff. Got there at 10 and it’s now 11:27 and I still didn’t get anything meds.. STAY AWAY FROM ADULTS TREATMENT

ashraf saied

It’s a great hospital, friendly staff and clean hospital. They provide a high quality service.

Zara Ahmad-Post

So I've only ever been in the emergency room here, but damn it was a war scene. Got there around 3pm. Didn't leave until around 2am. It was really awful. If you can go to urgent care instead, do it. Don't subject yourself to this place.

Wendel Traver

Highly recommend because they people are good and friendly.

zatch bell

These past visits has been the most horrible visits ever! For one they have my first name as my last name on the computer like morons. They don't know how difficult it was getting my medicine at the pharmacy cause my first and last name is switched. Two, I had a sprain ankle (a terminal injury) I had to wait almost 2 hours in a wheelchair for the nurse to wrap my ankle so I'd leave. I look out the door to see the nurse that's suppose to be wrapping my foot eating crackers...yeah those crackers are more important than my sprained ankle. And three, I made a appointment with my doctor to speak to her about something important and turns out she's absent the day of my appointment...are you serious... This is the last straw I have with this hospital. I could be dying and they wouldn't care less. Actually, I rather die then to go there again. And just because you had your child there don't mean this hospital have the best service in history cause they don't even have the slightest of good service. I get better service at my dentist appointment than here, so don't bother with them unless it's the last hospital in Brooklyn. I'm honestly afraid that my information is messed up when transferring to a new hospital cause of them.

Shalom Khuro

NEVER SEE DOCTOR MZKENZIE in the Hematology clinic. He has a very nasty attitude, irate character, non courteous and disrespectful verbiage. Stay far away from him. The other staff members were as sweet as can be.

MAIKA ELIASSAINT

This is seriously the worst of the worst Hospital ever, if I could of write my comment without giving them no star at all, that would have be it. There was no one in the front desk to help us when my mother and I got there, so we had to wait 20 minuets or so for them to come to come back and they are extremely rude at the same time

Liz Zsaza

Exceeded expectations, great nurses. Definitely gets a bad wrap.

Juliette f.g

I don't even know why they have a so called " emergency room". They don't even deserve 1 star and it seems like they have one doctor for everything. The employees are better at talking between them than doing their job. This so called hsopital needs to be checked.

Chantel L. Tillman

This is the worse hospital ever!!!! I walked in to the ambulance entrance as it was the closet entrance I could get to due to struggling to breath. At 930am I was put into some asthma treatment room for breathing treatment. Then moved to reg emergency room. No pillows, no blanket!! At about 1pm they finally say I have the flu on top of my bronchitis and quarantine me to that er area. Still no pillows, food or blankets offered. At 9pm I get my first dose of pain med . By 1am the next day I finally get a room. Still no food water pillow blankets. Not asked or offered!! The room they put me in has no emergency call button, no water in the bathroom sink, old blood dripped on bed near bottom, some sort of panel box open, 4 big trash cans as if this is the storage room, no food no nothing. This hospital shows that it’s in a area where people might not have much but still deserve good treatment!! I would not recommend this hospital!!! If you can avoid coming here do so!!!

Emily Humor

They have their issues but there are probably better hospitals in the area

Jk James

It takes 4 hours or more for you to be triaged by the nurse and another 5 hours to see the doctor and when you do get called you send another hour waiting to see the doctor when their just sitting and talking about vocation and other things that not work related.

This is Jasmain

So the other day my sister had her child there they said everything was ok all the tests ran back clear but two days after we left the hospital they called her back to tell her that the child had jaundice and even before the child was born they called her in on the wrong day to enduce her labor this hospital needs to be shut down

Vicqueria Smith

I wish I could give this hospital ZERO stars. We came here at 11:00 PM and guess what WE ARE STILL HERE!!!!! You wanna know what time it is? 4:00 A.M! Let’s just say I’m glad my boyfriend ain’t dying(but he might be cause we still have waiting)

wahid shawon

Worst place for an emergency.

Paul Kavanaght

Worst place for an emergency. I was involved in a car accident, and EMS brought me there. I was in pain, because a delivery truck rear-ended my car, while I was waiting at a red light. After waiting to be called for 3 hours, I walked up to the front desk, and politely asked if it's normal to wait that long. The receptionist was sarcastic, and said: "3 hours wait is normal. If you had told me 8 hours then I would be scared".I told her that If I was dying, then I would have died already. I waited 2 more hours, and still my name wasn't called. So I got up again, and went back to the receptionist. This time, she said "If you want, you can walk in there, and inquire about your case". And I did just that. And that's how a doctor finally saw me after nearly 6 hours.

Dwight Deloatch

Laid in emergency for over 4 hours without seeing a single doctor while there for diabetic hyper glycemia (high blood sugar), received no type of medication as my sugar levels kept rising higher. Could have gone in to a coma or died from their lack of treatment

Jeeleigh Anne

I give one star because the Doctors that dealt with me were amazing. The nurses are complete sadist and have abosolutely no bedside manner. I hurt my back really bad to the point where I lost function of my legs. The pain was unlike something I never felt. I was crying out in pain when I got to the Er. The lady who took my insurance information ( thank God I have good insurance because I think they would have left me for dead if I didn’t) was friendly but it was the end of her shift but she did manage to get me a bed quickly. The other nurses were nagging because it was a stoke bed. I then lost function of my arms. I’m screaming help me please someone help me and these nurses are walking around like I’m not even there. One nurse told me to shut up with all the noise! Can you believe that! My vitals were taken and everything that touched me caused pain. I was triaged to a room and then another nurse came and threw the gown (which I was unable to put on) and sheet at me. I started to scream it hurt so bad. She realizing what she had done then quietly started to apologize. I finally saw the Dr and thank God because they were the only understanding medical professionals in that Hell hole. He was careful not to prescribe opioids which I was grateful for. He ran a few bed side test and determined that my back muscles had been inflamed. Then recommended I see my regular Dr if the medication he prescribed didn’t help with the pain. Thank God for that Dr. The nurses at that hospital seriously needs classes on bedside manners. Why go through all this training to be a nurse when u intend on being a witch to the patients? If you can please go to another hospital.

I have heard and read bad reviews about this hospital I can only talk about my experience, I went to Methodist hospital and was sent home rudely wen I got home my water broke so I decided to go to kings county so I came into labor and delivery in lots of pain water broke and the nurse rush me to a room to take care of me and they did and amazing job even after baby was born the staff did a great job taking care of us they made sure we was always good and am so thankful for that I wanna thank the staff I think they don't get enough credit but I want them and everybody else to know that they r doing an amazing job and they are appreciated. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Multiple staff members were very rude and disrespectful. The nurse in the C building told me to find the doctor myself for my infusion treatment. When I went to patient relations, they were shock to hear how I was treated. Being 8 months pregnant and walking from building to being to get help with super swollen feet made me want to cry. If I could avoid this hospital completely I would.

Hannah Meiklejohn

I wish it was possible to give this hospital negative stars because the service is so insufficient. Don't waste your time and efforts here if you need help for a serious condition, or any condition at all for that matter. Employees are lackadaisical and treat you as if you are wasting their time and efforts. Plan on being here for a long wait in an uncomfortable space with no end in sight. Doctors gave misleading advice more than once. You will pay for your visit both mentally and financially past your own means.

I would literally rate this hospital 0 if i could. This Hospital is the worst they literally never answer calls in the morning hours the main phone number and also the medical records department. And there is literally no Voicemail box set up for these people its like we are stuck the 1950, Slow and inefficient. Rude staff member.

Anil Sadhu

A good hospital.Doctor are very friendly.Patiently listen everything. When i was there a fellow countryman helped me a lot.All the facilities are good and excellent.

K C

I would give less stars if it were possible. It was my worst experience ever. I will never come back.

Center Management

They provide poor service, slow service not to care about patients. Try to avoid this Hospital

Matthew Romero

Was a very great experience. Helped take good care of me when I went in. My tooth has no more pain! Thank you so much. Awesome staff!

Anna Aureliano

I broke and dislocated my elbow and this hospital took terrible care. They are highly disorganized, messed up my birthdate and my insurance information, and the wait times are extremely long. Nobody cares to help you either. I feel like taking off my cast (which is falling apart) and doing physical therapy on my own.

Abusive staff, little time with doctor. A bad hospital for for those that just want their medical advice and the doctor and their medications. Keep you there too long for illogical reasons (to take abuse from angry, slow, repetitive Haitian nurses). If I wanted to explore why immigrants shouldn't have the jobs of good Americans I would check in again. But those explorations and those conclusions they bring were hammered in between this hospital and Bellevue's similar systems. I had enough time to see a failing hospital and fooling Medicare system. The doctor sees you once a week and the social worker helps you with the bare minimum of what the mentally disabled patients need. The reason they are still getting away with all the insurance money they waste is because they imprison you there and claim your dangerous if you do not agree with their treatment. The whole world is in denial about mental health. When I was discharged they gave me the same advice they could have given me without the abusive day care type experience. Your in there with insane people that never shut up and their behavior rubs off, ruining all your training because you had similar symptoms. Even if they're mild symptoms, you take the heat for others through the systematic assumptions made in your category of disorder. You take the discrimination, follow the same rules., the symptoms that get worse with your peers' influence. I changed alot which I credit the medication I could finally get and my own self for staying strong thorough their abusive, maniacal unwritten about form of slavery that gets you no where. The reason it is not in the news is because the psychological industry claims any true reports to be false because the only people in there "could be delusional". Side-note: there is no library in these places, all they give you is one station to watch and there's usually someone talking louder than the TV. It's the same at Bellevue but at Kings county they let you use the computer for one or two hours a week. This is so they get good marks when a visitor sees it from the outside.

Kings County Hospital has been in this neighborhood forever. It gives hospitals a bad representation. It is a shame City Workers always prove that they are unprofessional. I have photos of the workers in the emergency room texting on tgeth phone and on you tube instead of helohel patients. If this continue soon there will no good health facilities to go for medical assistance. People we have to do better.

Bradley Frank

Google is going downhill. Here is an idea. Learn to assign "weight" to a review based upon a person's credentials and education. Also validate accounts. And only allow reviews of places that people have actually visited (validate via GPS). This reviewing system is so skewed and distorted. I feel sorry for hospitals and other places that are hospitality-based.

Ana Lopez De Zayas

Multiple medical care services and facilities are excellent, plus beautiful esthetic gardens to soothe snd re-invigorate the soul and body.

Superwoman vevo

I would’ve given them zero. Seriously.! Listen, I had D&C last night and they don’t me that i can go home and they will get the discharge paper ready in a minute but it’s been whole day I still didn’t get the discharge paper. My 13months baby crying for me and they held me here for nothing. And trust me their attitude is not a human kind. I’m not a person who get easily mad or get disrespectful but their attitude is worst. And guess what I am saying all this here for nothing. I know many people have experienced this in this hospital and I’m sure no one listened to them.

Lancy Paisan

Worse hospital ever, I went to my appointment that was supposed to be for 1:00 pm i arrived at 12:25 and there was a line to register, I spent 25 minutes on a line to register for my appointmen there was only 4 people on that line and the two ladies at the reception doing the registration were doing something totally different. I went to ask the lady after 25 minutes of being on line that why it was taking so long she rudely told me we cannkt even register you because you have to be register 30 minutes before you appointment. This was like a 60 years old lady typing in with two fingers no wonder why it takes you a whole hour to register a patient. These people do not care about patients and staff is unprofessional and untrained.

Katherine Ruiz

I delivered my baby here a few mi the ago and I would definitely not go back. The stuff is very unprofessional and racist. Most of nurses and receptionists are so rude and very racist. I had many complaints of mistreatment that were never addressed. I spent the night postpartum nights in the hands of bad nurses who confused and missed my medications, I did not have enough water or supplies to take care of my baby. the only thing I'm grateful to is the doctors who were very professional and kind. Thank God my son was born without any complications but I have a very bad experience with the staff of this place. In the end they left me to sign the exit documents without letting me read and they put in the qualification of the nurses' service "very good" themselves. I just wanted to go home with my son so I had to sign to let me go.

Its all about my kids

BEWARE !!!!!! of the pediatricians in kings county hospital as they might say that the parents are wasting there time by bringing your child there and then turn around and call ACS to have the parents kids takend away from them and say that the parents are crazy and they violated my hipaa rights so fair warning !!!!!!

Icyy Kayy

I’m 13 saying this is the WORST place to go to they almost killed my Father i will not recommend you to go here so count your blessings because when you go here you might end up dead.

Renea Salina

The staff in gyn was really nice but as for pediatrics them people nuh have no matters . The wait in the emergency is extremely long , I had to wait 5 hours before I could see a doctor, it’s really ridiculous. I can’t complain about the doctors , but the staff at the front desk is the worst in my opinion.

German Bernardez

The service is to slow, waiting 3hrs for a dental appointment.

Marluy Izaguirre

Took my partner to the emergency room with chest pains and unbearable pain all over her body. We arrived at 5AM and left at 8 AM with NO ASSISTANCE RECEIVED WHATSOEVER. It took 20 minutes just to get someone at the desk to "check us in." After finally chasing someone down just to help us, they didn't call her in to take her vitals for another hour. Once they checked her in, they asked us to wait until the "doctor was ready." Another hour later, we asked how much longer the wait would be and the nurse stated "the doctors will arrive in 15 minutes." This entire time we had been waiting on doctors that weren't even in the building. They could of AT LEAST let us know there were no doctors available. Mind you, there were only a total of 5 patients in the Emergency room waiting. ALL were treated the same. We ended up going to an Urgent Care clinic and received more "emergency" treatment and quality care than at this place that dares call itself a "hospital emergency" room. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. We don't have that many quality care options in Brooklyn so I guess if you want to survive you'll have to travel all the way to Manhattan. Good luck. P.S: my partner is doing much better thanks to Urgent Care.

Yashika Walker-Dawkins

The pediatric ER doctors and nurses always take good care of my son in the asthma unit.

Evelyn Flores

I went to get some pyscial therapy it was horrible they burned my shoulder and will have scar for life it's been two month's and it still hurts and hasn't healed the staff there where absolutely rude and had no compassion or sense of concern if could it a zero rating I would

Willy Sanchez

This place takes extremely long to get attended

Patricia Havens

Great customer service. My aunt was there last week due to a heart attack. The staff in The ER, 4D south & the cardiac catheterization unit was awesome. Very professional attentive and caring. They answered all of our questions and reassured us that they will be following up with her around the clock as they did. Everyone from the nurses, doctors the helpers the greeters and the Transporters were extremely helpful. I just want to change the negative stigma with this Hospital because it was was a pleasant experience we felt safe with her being there. Thank you sincerely Smith-Walbrook Family

Yvonne John

ATM working, bathroom relatively clean for a public restroom.

Mimi Majesté

Very unprofessional and rude staff. I don’t recommend.

Mariama Diallo

I went there 3 days ago, because of an allergy reaction. It took me 3 hours to be triaged. Then i have to waite 3 more hours, I end up living without seing any doctor. I have to go to another hospital to get treatment. Kings couty is a dangerous place to be, seriously

Karen Franck

I was disgusted and appalled at how demeaning, rude and ill mannered the staff at this hospital is. My husband was admitted to the ER here and I cannot even begin to explain the horrendous experience we had. The staff is completely and entirely abusive, uneducated and to top it off most of them can barely speak English. Worst hospital experience of my life. Felt more like a jail than a hospital. If it wasn't an emergency we would never have went. It took 6 hours to be seen, and my husband was never even seen by a physician, only an inexperienced resident. Absolutely terrible. Patients are treated like inmates. Unbelievable.

Tripod Threefoot

I'm sitting in the waiting area as I type this. Two days ago I experienced chest pains on the left side of my back. On 08/16/2016 between 10:30 and 11 i came to the front desk told the nurse I'm having pains in my chest and back she replied it's not her problem go over to the doctor's sign in area. The lady at the doctor's sign in area was told by me I'm having the symptoms I described, she said wait in line. I waited for 20 minutes then I began feeling more pains, I then came to the area again they took my ID info and told me to wait, it's been over 1hour I'm still waiting to be called, I'm getting pains on the left side of my back, the pains in my chest feels permanent.

Jenn Gomez

Many of the workers here are rude and very innatentive to their patients. The environment feels negative, and patients do not look like they are being checked in with as frequently as possible. There is also a lack of empathy and care that should be present in a hospital. Not once did the workers ask if my roommate was okay or if she needed anything. Not once. I would NOT recommend coming here at all unless you want to be put through several frustrating experiences.

Yakaira Cedeño

Terrible hospital Bad Bad services

Wesley Blackman

My son was going to this hospital since age 2. He's now 16. I have move bit still use this hospital service. Services is impeccable.

Belineda Hyppolite

If I could give a zero star this what they would get seriously I been calling to make an appointment lady was so rude and literally hang up on my face each time I call to make a breast follow up appointment

Mrs.Sharlette Calitxo

Really rude and they have bed bugs

Yangtsho Yangstho

Very bad service.

Constance Strickland

One of the worst hositals ..I always think of Esmin Elizabeth Green who died of a blood clot while waiting to be seen at this monsterous facitity. Time to close this down and start over as it still ten years later is a basic public center that does not SEE the people who come in for care

Geravia Hart

I love this hospital I was born there &10 years ago they saved my life I had a utopia pregnancy in my fallopian tube. I am very thankful for the Dr 's and nurses & God bless me with another chance of life. Thank you God for your blessings with my son In 2007.amen
