Emergency room took care of me during pregnancy when a condition required me to be on IV fluids. Staff was encouraging and focused, keeping me updated on my progress and checking with me before each intervention. Labor and delivery class was amazing. They offered better, more relevant information than any of the on-base classes and included the fathers/partners in fun ways. The class did a lot to settle my nerves before delivering. Delivery was great. I was in labor for 36 hours, with three different doctors rotating through. Not one of them gave up on me, and didn't suggest C-section even though I'm sure it would have been resorted to at lots of other hospitals. They're baby-friendly (or very close to getting certified if they're not already) and supported my desire to breastfeed. The children's wing took great care of us through jaundice, providing a lactation consultant when I requested one, even though she had to come over from a different department. The food was decent, for a hospital. I enjoyed the hamburgers, in particular. Glad to have delivered there and would happily do it again.

The icing on the cake was today when we showed up and waited for an appointment only to be told the machine is broke. I feel like that could have been a phone call. Typical service at this “hospital”.

Do NOT go to this hospital at all unless you feel like you're dying. I would rather make the drive to Lubbock. I'm not writing a bad review because I had "one" bad experience I have had 4-5 different bad experiences. Most recently my husband had just got home from deployment 3 months ago and was having severe abdominal pain and other things that are tmi. He was seen by Dr. Herrera who was RUDE and didn't do her job properly, she thought my husband may have had an issue and he was sure that it wasn't that but he wasn't refusing care he wanted to know what EXACTLY what she was going to do because it sounded slightly painful. Instead of telling him what she was going to do and if there was pain involved ( he was already in pain.) she gave us both a nasty attitude and said "whatever you can refuse care" and walked straight out of the room ( first she didn't realize he WASNT refusing care, he wanted to KNOW what she was going to do.) we has already been waiting 4 hours for his CT scan and his IV to finish. Dr. Herrera never came back, never told my husband what it was he could have had, never came back and offered something and never offered medication or antibiotics ( we think he has a parasite in his small intestine from where he was deployed, because it's so common to get it from the country he was deployed to.) my point is that this is not the first time we felt so uncomfortable with a dr here at this hospital and that we can't even seek care. Last year my husband had a bad stomach ulcer and threw up blood we of course came back to this hospital and was treated badly. My husband had to be flown to Lubbock ( THANK GOD because we were treated respectfully and my husband was cared for properly.) but the funny thing is Clovis hospital told my husband has a "metal bolt" in his stomach ( guess your drs are idiots.) no way he ever swallowed a metal bolt it was a freaking ulcer. There's been other times where we were missed treated but my point is this hospital is horrible and I really hope they take action on how Dr. Herrera treated my husband last night and I hope she doesn't treat any other families like the way she treated us. I hope to never be seen by her if I need to be.

Takes way to long to do anything when it's not even busy. Nurse hasn't come back in oven an hour and a half. Hands down worst medical experience ever.

Well... I don't know what to say, this ER is not an Emergency Room, if anything a wait for death room. If you have a medical emergency you are better off staying at home. There were 2 (TWO!) people sitting next to me literally dying. They were just told to wait! Unfathomable! I figured if these guys are in a near-death condition and wouldn't be seen by a doctor, I didn't stand much of a chance either. 5 hours and 35 minutes passed since I got there and after one of these two people in critical condition got up and limped away I followed his footsteps. Horrible experience, I can only pray for these poor people that are mistreated on a daily basis at this place, and pray harder that it doesn't happen to me or loved ones when our last breath comes.

worst hospital.i ever been next time going to drive to Lubbock them come back here always sitting on their asses leaves us in the room for 5 hours just to tell us my husband didn't have nothing and some are bad stuff and some bad doctors

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT have your child at this hospital. Some staff is awesome but there a few that ruin the entire experience. Disgusting experience .

I absolutely waste my 0ne star. Don't wanna give any star for this emergency. There's not many ppl in waiting room, but you supposed to be waiting for an hour. An hour is basically waiting time. It really is ridiculous. Even if you go room, you supposed to be waiting for 2hours to see a doctor. Clovis ER is the worst place I've been so far.

I have never had a good experience at this hospital, whether it was having a baby or a member of my family being seen. They make excuses for being incompetent instead of admitting they have no idea what they are doing. We always end up going to Lubbock after attempting to be seen here. I always think maybe it's improved over time but they have shown over 20 years that they are still the worst hospital in New Mexico. Between cutting my first childs head open then trying to hide it with a beanie, saying my other child had heart problems and sending him to Lubbock just to find out there was absolutely nothing wrong with his heart, their inability EVERY single time to start an IV, and most recently saying my child had RSV and needed admitted then called the police on me when I refused to have him admitted... No longer giving this hospital chances. We went to Lubbock this last time after I left Clovis and guess what? He had an ear infection and needed antibiotics, something I SPECIFICALLY asked about at our Plains Regional Medical Center emergency room visit. I was told NO, he doesn't need antibiotics, he has RSV and antibiotics won't help that. We were at "PRMC" over 6 hours and they didn't see he had an ear infection. We were in and out at Lubbock in less than 2 hours and they gave my son much better care than we have ever gotten here. They also told me he did not need admitted to the hospital. So why did Clovis want to admit him? Only thing I can think is money. Be careful at this hospital. If something feels wrong about what they are doing, leave and go somewhere else. You're most likely correct.

This hospital doesn't have any knowledge about how to take care of their patients, doctors do not know what they're doing. Sorry but never let your family to be take care of in this facility. My kid broke his leg and these doctors sent him Home because they didn't have any specialist in healing bones at the time, I took my child to Lubbock instead. My baby is only 2.

I had a scheduled surgery and was required to stay in the hospital for 50 hours. I could not have been in better hands. From the pre op screening to the nurses and the doctors including the anesthesiologist team all were kind, understanding, and professional on every level. I am so thankful for the staff. They all did an amazing job and also did amazing work on my surgery and my after care. My husband in the military I have had to have surgery in the following Alaska, Texas, Louisiana, so I was terrified not knowing what I was going to be in for. But this hospital along with their staff was amazing. So if you are seeking health care I would recommend this hospital and their staff.

Several visits in the last few months. Never waited longer than 20 minutes in ER before going in for triage. Always treated with efficient caring service. Doctors, nurses and staff are top notch! Thank you for your compassionate treatment of my family.

Literally the worst hospital I have ever been to. Slow service, while nurses sit and chat at the desk. The doctors are contracted, which means they will charge unneeded tests and the hospital will charge you as well. I would rather drive 2 hours to Lubbock than come back.

The staff here just sits on their butts all the freaking time. When my mom was here only one nurse that attended my mom was kind and was careful for her. Some staff here are kind but not everybody here is, when my mom was in the emergency department, the doctor was kind. But they definetaly need better staff!!

The staff at the Healthplex are awesome. Friendly care at Orthopedics Clinic. ER staff and Surgical wing staff are very helpful. I understand that some staff are short but I also get working long hours and people coming in expecting a cure on the spot and getting mad when it doesnt happen that way in real life.

terrible service, all of them sitting at desks and there is only 3 patients including myself here!! came in at 9 didn't leave till 1:30 so they could tell me to go to a specialist doctor for my knee!!!!

I have no idea what happened, but WATCH YOUR BILLING HERE! I had 2 health insurance coverage, and lived there over a year ago..I was looking at my credit, and apparently I owe them money, which I had absolutely no idea. This is very confusing, as I had only been here twice. Both times for the same thing. The first time, no bill.. bc I had coverage. Then the second time they're going to charge me without telling me? Just be careful!

The staff was excellent, however, their billing department is horrible. I NEVER received a bill and all of a sudden I get something form a credit agency! Not one bill, not a reminder bill, nothing. Very disappointed in how they handle manners. I have heard from multiple people that this is a regular occurrence.

I had kidney complications in my Clovis visit while pregnant and the staff was just wonderful I am from Albuquerque and had never received such wonderful care in a hospital they have succeeded any expectations I kinda don't want to go back home! great hospital great staff you can tell they know what they are doing thank you all very much

People have been friendly and helpful but removing a star because of the 70 page hard copy medical records I brought in to be scanned, their medical records person only scanned in 6 pages then destroyed the hard copy! Then when I see the specialist he asks me why the records are incomplete.

I went into the ER for complications from systemic lupus. I had an allergic reaction to something and was struggling to breathe. They treated it as a panic attack, gave me psychotropics that I didn't want or need, and sent me home. I've had lupus for seventeen years and I know my body. I left feeling less than human. Also, my treatment was discussed quite loudly in the nurse's station; my full name was used and anyone in the ER could have heard. It was a terrible experience.

I had a quick onset of stomach pain. I held out thinking it would go away but it just continued to increase. I went to the ER here and yes, I had to wait because of more immediate medical issues. The ER doc saw me as quick as he could, it was a busy..busy time for the staff. Dr. Lockett was increadably nice and caring. Lynette the nurse was also wonderful. I was diagnosed with an appendicitis and was admitted. Surgical floor nurses are fantastic...Joy...Johanna...the nurse techs...Natashya...Crystal treated me with the upmost respect and care. They were wonderful also. I have not had a bad visit and have been treated great. Thank you PRMC for the great care.

I was rushed to the ER due to an allergic reaction to some food I ate a few hours prior. The woman at the check in was very friendly and checked me in quickly. I was immediately taken to the back and each and every nurse and doctor was professional and friendly. They helped lessen my fears. They discovered the worker who prepared my meal most likely had touched a food I'm allergic to and didn't wash his hands in between preparations. I was given medicine for the swelling and now I'm recovering. Very pleased with them.

I called the Medical Office Building and the appointment woman was incredibly rude. She also gave me incorrect information. I notified administrator. This is not OK. So, one week later, tried to meet with doctor (Morris) from appointment above. I heard her tell staff to send me to someone else without even the courtesy to see me at my appt. time. This is another reason people go to Lubbock.

Absolutely the worst experience ive had. I went in because I kept fainting. Came home with an injured knee because they didnt believe me when I said i couldnt walk. I was forced to walk i fainted and broke my knee.

No one likes to have surgery, but if you do rest assured that you will receive excellent care. From the nurses to the physicians to the fantastic anesthesia staff, everyone is amazing! Great to have a quality hospital in a small town.

Dr. Vickers has been a wonderful pediatrician thus far, but the hospital has issues with efficiency. We have been called back to have blood drawn from our infant on 4 different occasions due to nurse/technician error. They have misplaced vials, not drawn enough blood, etc. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of efficiency here. I do not like having my infant daughter poked with needles needlessly. What should have been a single blood draw has turned into 5. They called yesterday to say they lost her last blood draw and need us to come back!

I’m literally sitting in the ER MY CHILD IS BURNING UP WITH A FEVER she’s fussy and the doctors have been gone for almost an hour now. They probably forgot about us. If they have a lot of patients then bring in more staff. Ridiculous that my baby is having to suffer because they either stand by and chat or they’re under staffed. Awful service
