My family had a similar experience. These quacks should definitely be removed. "We live in Hobbs but my family always go to Nor-Lea Hospital for medical care. Couple of weeks ago, I took my son to the walkin clinic because he was running a fever of 103. After waiting there for 2 hours, we finally got to see Dr. Stacy. After checking my son for 1 minute, she told us he had an ear infection and gave him a shot of some kind of antibiotics (Rocefen???). After we got home, my son developed a rash that night and felt tight in the chest. We took him to the Hobbs ER immediately and was told by the doctor that my son developed a severe reaction to the antibiotics shot. The doctor also checked my son's ears and told us he didn't see any infection and didn't know what was the shot for. My son turned out to be OK but the experience was extremely scary. Nor Lea should be more judicious when hiring doctors!"

Had a bad experience at another hospital that was local waited for hours thought becuae they were closer I just wanted to be seen never again. BUT we drove to Nor lea on 2/10/19 waited 15 minutes and the customer service and the training was by far excellent they had compassion my nurse was on top of things and so was my doctor they over exceeded my expectations I will always go there.they had me feeling better then I was when I went in. It doesnt shock me all my docs and the staff when i go is always above and beyond my expectations. THANK YOU NOR LEA MRS. LUNA.

Our family doctor is Dr. Sarakonti in Hobbs Medical clinic. We received good care from him and wanted to let Hobbs people know about him. He is a very nice doctor. Good listener. He is always straight to the point. No BULL S*** about your business. Some people may not like that. But that’s OK. From my house, 6 people see him. Nice thing about him is that he sees children , old people. My uncle is a diabetic. He was seeing a doctor in Lubbock, but his diabetes is always wacky. He started going to sarakonti for last 2 months and his diabetes is better now. My grandmother also has diabetes, but she does not have insurance. He helps giving her free medications. Nobody has done that sofar for us. My grand mother is looking healthy now , after starting insulin. My grand mother always says, He is a kind hearted person. May god keep him healthy all times. .Thank you Dr. Sarakonti. His office staff is also so nice. Clinic is very clean. His office staff is prompt on calling stuff. He does not speak Spanish. He has Spanish interpreters in the office. My observation is that she does not translate everything to him. If he learns Spanish , he can communicate well. Thank you David Shaw and Nor Lea for bringing him here. Please bring some more doctors like him. I have a question. es el casado?

Wife went in because of a cyst on her lower back. It had already discharged and just at this point needed to be cut out. They tried to charge over $10,000 dollars for a simple procedure. Just out to get money and not help people

They take way to long for simple things. Waited in the waiting room for 3 hours! For such a small town the service is way slow. Very dissappinted.

Get ready for no answers or returned calls from all departments. Most of the employees here are incompetent and do not know what they are doing. I will never come back here again.

In August my father had a hip surgery and was sent to Nor Lea to have rehab services for his leg. The room was spacious and very nice. The staff was extremely friendly with my parents and the care was Superb. The dietary staff was so wonderful and would bring mom food because she stayed the entire time with him. The therapy staff was incredibly amazing and dad was cared for continuously. In addition, they helped us set up home therapy and we are so happy because he was not talking before therapy and now he answers the phones! So blessed for Nor Lea Hospital and the service provided.

I called to make my son an appointment. I live in Austin and he has blue cross blue shield of Texas. When making the appointment I asked if they took his insurance and was told they do. Drive to Lovington and was told there that they don’t accept his insurance. Had to pay out of pocket. Extremely frustrating. Both of the women working the front desk at the walk in clinic were very rude and unprofessional. The only reason I am giving 3 stars were because of the woman working the front desk when we walked in. Her name was Skylar. Very sweet and professional. Our nurse practitioner Brandi was also very sweet.

My Dr. Sent me for a c.t. a nurse met me at the er and took me right back and did vital signs. My blood pressure was 195/102 she had a Dr. In my room in seconds. My blood pressure went up to 224/115 the nurse and Dr.keep a close eye on me wile giving me meds. To bring down my blood pressure. They took me for the ct just a few min. After I got there. The Dr. Went over my ct and lab and made sure I understood it all. Could not have ask for better care. I was there 02/06/18

Went in for a infection in my leg I believe it was a spider bite of some sort it was infected real bad and intensive pain they put me in a room a nurse took a culture and that was it nothing to help the infection and pain just sat there miserable finally a doctor came in did not even introduce him self to me he stood far back just looking at my leg from 12 feet away never said nothing I asked for help still nothing this visit was a joke and waste of time on my part in the end they put me in a ambulance and sent me to UMC I told the staff what happened at the hospital in Lovington and they said them selves the doctor didn’t know what he was doing and from what I experienced it’s true he didn’t help nor try and that’s sad a doctor like this on their pay roll can’t take care of a simple situation very sad I don’t recommend this hospital I also had a bad experience on a 2 nd time I came but that’s a different story and quite personal .. in the end UMC hospital in Lubbock you are better off going there that hospital took care of me and fixed my situation . Here’s a fact this hospital is a rip off so is there pain management dr Evans poor care

Mary Saez is not a good practitioner. I would not use her, she hung up on me and I still do not have my RX from three months ago and will not get it according to her, but still have been billed for over 400.00.

Wow!!!!! What a nasty hospital. The waiting rooms are disgusting. People are rude as hell and the doctors are completely incompetent.

Been going here for all our emergency visits. Always had nice, respectful, and intelligent doctors and same can be said about the nurses. Were gentle with my children and always seem to diagnose every problem well and give proper medical advice to follow. Just have always had a positive experience. Thank you.

This hospital is a joke. I went into a lot of debt here and nothing was solved but they did encourage me to go to the ER on at least one of my visits which was something I didn't need. I found it very strange that the ER knew more about my readings than the specialists did. It would definitely seem like a racket to have a married couple heading up two different departments and I was sucked right in. Since this is the oil field, the cost of everything is inflated too. You'd better bring all of your money because they intend to take all of it.

Worst ER visit I have ever had, and I've had many. They ignored me, let me pee on myself, hurt me multiple times, and basic sanitation was awful. I waited nearly 4 hours before I was given basic pain relief. Honestly, even an aspirin would have been welcome. It was the longest, most painful 7 hours in my life. I would have been healthier in the end if I just went home instead of going to the ER.

My husband was there for rehab services in January. The nursing staff did an excellent job. Meals were good. PT worked with him and we're very patient with him. His room was kept clean at all times. My husband suffers from short term memory loss and the staff did a good job with reminders and prompting. The physicians kept me informed as well. The CNAs work hard and deserve special praises. Thanks so much for what you do.
