Appointment was set weeks ago for a procedure at 11:15 and checkin time at 10:15 After waiting a half hour passed check in time, I complained and they called me next... meanwhile another patient shared that they had the same checkin and procedure time with the same doctor. Now how on earth is a doctor going to do both procedures at the same time while giving each of us the attention and care that we deserve? An hour after checkin time and still not even being prepped for the procedure, but still sitting in the waiting room with at least 4 other people ahead of me. Mind you this procedure required fasting and miserable prep for The last 24 hours so at this point, every hour passing is more miserable! They double booked patients during a computer system changeover. Smart.

I have gone to this hospital for almost a year now and I have had the worst care here. From the ER visits to my surgery that I had last year. This hospital is a joke!!! I will not be coming back here ever again. I've been to this hospital within the last three weeks for the same problem and They told me that they don't deal with Ovarian cyst and just leave them alone. This is a woman's hospital how do you not specialize in this type of thing. Even the OBGYN are not helpful.

From reading reviews it looks like you shouldn’t come here for the ER, just the prenatal services. I will start with an easy list because I know people just want to know the good and bad when reading these. So only good things here 1. The classes and support they offer! 2. From day one every single nurse, doctor and employee was beyond amazing. 3. Availability and knowledge of the lactation nurses. 4. The labor of love program. 5. The resources, information, and help we got after having our baby. After having my baby here I realized how lucky I was compared to friends who had their babies elsewhere. The staff is amazing!!!! Every single one of them. My boyfriend and I learned so much from the classes they offer and were showered with support from the lactation nurses. Beyond knowledgeable. The perks of the labor of love program were amazing. We are still utilizing some of them like our pass to explora. I would recommend here to anyone and everyone. If you want kind and knowledgeable care this is the place. If you want to breastfeed, even if not being able to before, I am 100% confident they can’t gwt you there.

Daughter is 2 months pregnant, threw up 8 times at home & 8 times at the hospital in 3 hours! Nurse FINALLY gave her something for the nausea & an IV 3 1/2 HOURS that we were there! Soon after her arm started burning! Had to be removed! Didn't finish her fluids!! After 6 hours they released her only giving her a prescription that couldn't be filled at our pharmacy because it was 10:00!! Dr.s & staff were UNPROFESSIONAL & TOLD patients THEIR DIAGNOSIS in front of EVERYONE!!(EXAMPLE) " THAT A ELDERLY WOMANS INSURANCE DID NOT COVER $70"! Emergency Room was DIRTY ,UNORGANIZED, Had patience like cattle YP AGAINST each other!!! No privacy! They sat my pregnant daughter next to a lady that was told she had scarlet fever! Was the worst experience for my family& I. The only person that was attentive was a nurse named Jennifer that I stopped & she answered ALL MY QUESTIONS & DID NOT IGNORE US LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!

Theresa Trujillo

Well I called them in pain and the lady was so rude after I was told to go there today and if I got worse like now I was to call and go in she couldn't even give me simple information very rude to where I just don't even want to go there now and just try to go to bed

First of all, the hospital reminds me of one from a zombie apocalypse movie where it is so run down and haunted looking that at any moment it could fall apart or zombies could come rushing in. Second, the main reason why not to go to this hospital, is their billing system. The bill separately for the doctors so essentially you have to pay private health costs instead of public which is why I am still paying off my $1,300 bill with insurance for four bags of IV fluid. Which is salt water. Next time I have food poisoning, I'd rather die from dehydration then go here again. Oh and by the way, the billing people they use messed up and now I have an extra month of payments. Don't go here save your money.

The wait time on the website is a lie, no surprise, hospitals are generally under staffed and over worked. But that's not why I'm giving this 1 star. There was a young woman waiting in the ER who was being treated absolutely horrible for no reason. To the point she left crying. The attending nurse was terrible! Truly horrifying. If someone is coming to you for help you do not treat them like scum. That is a big problem that the hospital should definitely fix ASAP. Discrimination is not ok. Period. (Edit) so we wasted a whole day here waiting for some kind of diagnosis so my partner can not be in excruciating pain any more. The attending doctor for Friday, Oct 19 between 10 a.m and 6 p.m, (he never introduced himself) seemed callous and uncaring about my partners state. Mind you they were choking back screams because of how much pain they were in. He assumed they just had a very bad stomach ache, despite the detailed description of said pain and a detailed medical history, He prescribed a stomach pain realiver. after doing a test that would have shown nothing, an MRI or better yet ultrasound would have shown the problem, we were shown the door with nothing. No help, no respect from the doctor, no helpful suggestions to where we could go for a solution, nothing. Don't waste your time. Go to UNM instead.

Our baby was born here, medically and during delivery very well and very attentive. Then, we had to ingest it in the NICU, from this fatal moment. Especially the administrative staff, a lady named T. Jackson asking for money from the bill as if it were a mafia, demanding it immediately or the bill would be bigger. As we had insurance we activated it and the issue was solved, but we were surprised by the bad manners and the way of acting of this person. We will make a formal complaint to the state.

I took my mother into the ER on Aug 20 2016 they were great. Once moved to the medical/surgery unit everything went to pots. I came in the first morning and she had a spoon in her blankets at the foot of the bed where she also had an infection on her leg. She was laying on what i believe to be dried soup and had crumbs in her bed. When the nurse came in I told him this was unacceptable. I mentioned that she was on a fluid restriction she was a fall risk and had to monitor her oxygen closely. He had no idea of any of this information! My sister came in the following day and found my mother with her oxygen tube wrapped around her head, and later that day found her with her hanging off her bed. My mother was very confused and had no idea where she was in the first place. They were supposed to have signes on her door to let everyone know she was a fall risk. There was such a lack of communication between shifts. From there she became more sick and moved to ICU where she was watched more closely. Two days after leaving ICU her health began to decline. These are just a few areas of incompetence. I finally demanded they move her to the heart hospital after talking to an employee there who advised me to " Get her out of this hospital!" I had no idea I had that right. She's been there since Aug 31 and will finally hopefully be released tomorrow to a skilled nursing facility. God help us! I WILL NEVER EVER BRING SOMEONE I LOVE TO LOVELACE WOMENS HOSPITAL

Jon Dil

Tricore’s lab team at this hospital is absolutely trash, they don’t get along with each other and don’t give a damn about the patients. Lovelace needs to find a new and better lab team. Shame on Tricore!

Cresensia Torres

Im switching my prenatal care. I don't like not being able to see my midwife when I need to.

Susanne Rinaldi

Does not deserve a star. -50 is a better measure. The ER Dr.'s do NOT LISTEN. Most staff act like you are a "problem" not a patient. Horrible place to be sick in.

Andres Aragon

This is the worst ER service that there is!!!!!! Waited for hours and I'm talking 4 hours just for someone to remember that my girlfriend had been taken to the back already from the waiting room. Then finally decide to give her an IV a then make her wait another hour before deciding hey let's finally do an ultrasound. On top of that when she was checked in her BP was high and then wonder why it's still high 4 hrs later!!! Pathetic and nothing but excuses!

Rob Noble

Easy to find your way around.

Danette Olguin

This is the worst hospital in all of Albuquerque! Unskilled, incompetent nursing staff. Terrible customer service. Constantly violating patient rights. I will never recomend this hospital again!

Madeline Carlisle

Looking back on my experience, I have a more objective view. I am so grateful to Dr. Contreras, she is exceptional and if available I highly recommend for prenatal care and delivery - NM Women's Specialists. She gets 10 stars. Also, the c-section unit is the best of the best in terms of facility, staff, etc. I made my decision to have one and within minutes I was on the operation table and my baby was born moments later, the whole surgery took less than an hour. I had a hiccup with the nicu unit but the attentive and kind nicu nursing staff made that right and I will never forget your help. Post care for me was A+ as well, I actually turned down a massage. Thank you for my little angel, she is healthy and happy.

trenton packer

I was admitted a few days ago possible surgery. Been here 4 days most of staff are professional and some are dismissive. I think if you have a voice it offends them. 5 hours of no response from any medical staff. 2 days in a row. My mom and my good friend ex girlfriend are nurses. It's N.M. health care and under paying med staff so we get what we pay for. Please come and discuss it with me Kayla. Still here

Niyoka Larzelere

All the staff and nurses were rude... To each other and to patients... The front desk clerks even chased a man off, who was in obvious pain. And a nurse left a woman in extreme pain in the hallway facing the bathroom. Any place is better than here... This is not a place to seek help.

Nikki Duran

I brought a dear friend to lovelace hospital emergency room. Within minutes of going inside some ass#@#$ tried to steal my truck. The security was there and stopped him. Came to find me and helped me lock it up. Really nice an kind guards. The emergency room treated my friend quik and friendly and we went home after waiting a long time for the police feeling that good people work there. Thank you.

Marisa Gonzales

My boyfriend has meningitis, an infection in the brain, and that infection has spread to one of his heart valves. The complete disrespect and lack of compassion the ICU unit doctor have is absolutely unacceptable. We only went to Lovelace because the urgent care is usually fast and they were nice and caring people. So ill give the one extra star from them. But it doesn't at all make up for the terrible inexcusable way the doctor treated not only me, but my very sick boyfriend. I will be sharing this with as many people as I can. We're trying to transfer him as soon as possible.

Rainbow Warrior

The staff in the emergency room assumed i was having a heroin overdose and cut off my shirt than shot mevwith 2 doses of NARCAN... The hospital told me that Presbyterian hospital misdiagnosed me and i do not have type 2 diabetes, hypertension,

Kaya Spivey

My OBGYN left this center so I made an appointment elsewhere. The other clinic couldn't get me in for 2 months and a week before my appointment they canceled on me and were unable to reschedule for another 2 months. Lovelace Women's Health not only scheduled an appointment for me within WEEKS of my call, but they also sent my paperwork to a doctor to give me a month's extension on my prescription until I could get in. They were so helpful, courteous, patient, and friendly! I won't be going anywhere else as long as they keep it up!

My newborn baby was seen here for a rash by Dr Mitchell Trujillo n they put wrong codes down for my insurance to pay n expect me to pay send me to court cause im not paying one cent my daughter has bcbs centennial I was discharged the moment I walked in to triage ur facility said you couldn't do anything for my daughter n yet you charged for medical supplies I should charge you . You asked me how much my daughter weighed and measured you didn't even touch her Dr michelle Trujillo send me to court cause I will fight it this is not fair now im left with a bill for your MISTAKE OFthis is the worst hospital to go to staff is unprofessional constantly on their cell phones n they dont even listen to rhe patients they are rude and first of alI they were racists cause I was speaking spanish my bad you didn't understand n by the way I am American plus the room I was in had blood on the floor and wall this facility is dirty

Britny Curtis

I had all 3 of my daughters there. In 2011 and 2015 when I have my first two daughters the staff was amazing. But now when I had my 3rd daughter on August 25 2016 I was only 35 weeks and went it because I was having contractions. I went the day before but they sent me home because I was only 1cm dilated but when I got to the hospital they hooked me up right away but for some reason the machine wasn't working well and wasn't picking up my strong contractions so they thought I was dehydrated so they hooked me up to an iv and had me wait. After an hour they checked me and I was 4cm but they were telling me I might go home but I refused because I knew I was in labor I mean it was my 3rd time going threw it. But they kept me and were trying to stop the labor from happing. I found out the baby was breeched so they said if contractions didn't stop they would have to do a c-section. Couple of hours went by and the contractions were so bad that I was in tears but they weren't showing up on the screen so the nurse thought I was being dramatic. Finally at 5pm I called to see if they can check my cervix but the nurse told me they perfered not to because that speeds up the labor and they're trying to stop it because I'm early but she said she will let the doctor know. 30 minutes go by and nobody has came to check me so I get up to use the bathroom and when I was done I just felt pressure like I had to push so I told my husband to call for the nurse. Finally about 10 minutes after the Doctor came in and checked me and said I was 10cm and the baby was right there. Then him and all the nurses walked out to go prepare for the c-section knowing there was no time. As soon as they walked out I felt the baby coming out and I started screaming telling them that she was coming and that they had to come back in, my husband opened the door so they could hear me finally two nurses came I'm and started moving my bed to wheel down to get a c-section and I kept yelling at them that she was coming finally I felt her whole body come out except for her head and I told them she was out and they still kept trying to get me out of the door finally my husband pulled the blanket off me and they looked and sure enough her whole body and was out still in the sac and her head was still in me. The doctor ran in and told them to break the water and I just pushed really hard for her head to come out. Once she was out the Doctor picked her up, put her down by my legs and walked out to go change because my water broke on him. The nurses where looking for him and didn't know where he went then finally he came back in after 10 minutes. I was so mad because they didn't believe me when I said I was in labor instead they were to busy trying to "stop" it. Thankfully my daughter is healthy. She had to sat 17 days in the nicu but she's home and a happy 5 month old. But seriously my worst experience there out of my 3 babies. The doctor was Dr. Botts I believe.

I'm not sure about all of these negative reviews, I've had 2 children at Lovelace women's and I'm about to have my 3rd. I absolutely love love love this place! I had a bad experience with my first, I had a scheduled induction so I was kept on the 3rd floor. Staff was great but they are very busy upstairs, most women want pain meds and upstairs is the only place they administer meds. If you are planning on having a natural birth this is the place to be!!!!!!! My 2nd son was born down stairs, still the same great staff awesome room. I suggest taking a tour of all the hospitals UNM, Pres, and Lovelace. Ask tons of questions and get a feel for the place. I'm sure Lovelace will be the winner especially if u are wanting a natural birth!! Good luck to all you Momma's may you labor fast and have healthy little bundles of joy!!

Will Rogers

Pretty efficient. Kept my wife and updated

Cristina Maldonado

Amazing! I had my baby there 2 weeks ago and never met such nice attentive staff in my life. They made me feel so comfortable and at home. I had a beautiful delivery experience and the 14 hrs I was on active labor I felt like royalty, they treated me so good, gave me all I asked for, brought me drinks, broths etc. After the baby was born we were moved to another room which was a lot smaller I was hoping for a bigger room but other than that the staff continued to be very nice and proffesional. Will definitely have my next there :) Thank you staff for all your hard work I truly had the best first experience having this baby. I woulD like to add everything is very clean and the rooms are really nice and comfortable

Bobbi Sands

I have taken my children here and the care has always been exceptional! The staff has always been courteous, kind and professional. There have been admissions for emergency surgeries and all staff has been the very best. Surgeons, nurses, doctors, admissions. I'm so very glad to have such a wonderful hospital that provides such outstanding care.

Kassidy Smith

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I thought Pres was bad, they make Lovelace look like a 5 start hospital. Horrible service, horrible care, not one person there was considerate

Isaac VanHaverbeke

My daughter was recently born at this hospital, and the doctors, midwives, and nurses were just fantastic. They treated me, my girlfriend, and our families with a lot of respect and care. They obviously knew what they were doing, and I was never worried about the quality of her care. It wasn't cheap, but if you have good health insurance, you definitely get what you (they) pay for here. The prenatal care at this hospital was also fabulous. Dr Underwood in particular made us feel confident and relaxed from the very first appointment, and she even came by to check on us after my girlfriend had given birth.

Lauren Barreca

Worst hospital besides Lovelace downtown. The Lovelace system has caused my health to majorly decline. They put things in my file that are not true and also put medications in my file I am not on which make me look like I take oxytocin which I DO NOT. This has impeded my ability to get serious care for my degenerative brain disease. The lovelace system has created a nightmare that I will die in because of their lies. Their lies have caused me to have a file that is false. Last I checked medicine was based on data and test results not hunches and prejudice.

Bobbi Kay Nelson

The nursing staff did not take good care of my Mom when she had knee replacement surgery. During her 3-day hospital stay, my 84-year old mother did not have a bath. In fact, there were never any wash clothes or towels placed in her room. Communication was poor. The walker she received (and paid for) was not the one she needed or was supposed to receive. We were told that it belonged to another patient; however, a different one never came.

Steve Iler

I’d recommend Lovelace to any Mother looking for a place to give birth. My girlfriend had a quite long stay due to couple different things & was treated great & they made sure I was ok during the stay. Other than one situation with 1 nurse after giving birth the staff was absolutely amazing & there to make sure she was comfortable & happy! Tiara, Amy, Adrienne & Maleri for taking such great care of my girlfriend!! Maleri is a great Charge Nurse she took care of our situation quick & cared about the problem!! Thank you coming from the Father!

Jessica Jordan

This place sucks!!!! Its the worst hospital I've ever been to in my life! I came in w a kidney stone attack peeing ore blood and I was stuck in some little back corner watching infomercials forgotten about. No pain meds no room no nothing!! disgusted with the level of professionalism, and disgusted with the lack of organization. A dr came to the back corner where i was shunned too and started talking about another patient. Like..... are U serious!??

Crystal Dyer

Both my kids were born at Lovelace. Great care both times.

Emery Pino

So glad my dad is leaving there... People are nice but not well staffed so they don't have time to communicate with each other... The surgeon only cared about the surgery and then virtually no one was in charge... Hence we stayed around the clock... Had to tell them not to bring food when he couldn't swallow, not to put oxygen on when they tried to put him on oxygen after he was taken off, didn't walk him when the doctor ordered, weren't aware the anesthesia made him literally crazy and hallucinating from on shift to another and then for the second time in a row(as they missed the pulp the first time) discharged him way to early. #Lovelace women's hospital #terrible

We took our elderly mother to the Lovelace Womens Hospital ER when, in rehab, she took a significant turn for the worse. By the time she got a bed, it was clear the end was coming fast. They turned over a room to us and made it possible for her loved ones to be with her down the home stretch. Their professional team provided for every need and let us have all the room as long as we wanted, always showing empathy and respecting our privacy. Losing one's mother is one of the saddest events a human endures. The LWH ER team's generosity allowed ours to be a peaceful, beautiful experience. We will be forever grateful for their kindness.

Larry Pond

This place has very rude and dismissive doctors and staff. I regret bringing my mom here...

Alice Davis

Rude appointment maker , rude front desk clerks ! Was seeing a doctor we loved a ABC health partners. Since Lovelace bought some of the ob docs I was told I could transfer with my ob I had chosen . But no I'm 36 weeks an Kelly said I can't wait till July to make a appointment with the doc I been seeing my entire pregnancy or see someone new. For what ? I did not transfer to see a different doc no I transferred to keep my Doc . Lovelace is love less they don't care the front staff rude hard to deal with

Richard Rascon

Do not come here the staff is very rude and do not know anything about medicine nurses or doctors just quick to make money and send you home. Place is also dirty

Jasmine Ramirez

Love this hospital had both my kid's here everyone is so nice and understanding.i had my second baby like about 2 mouths ago and he had to be under the lights for a 3days in the NICU and all the staff there are great and are so carfull with the babes i know this cuz i was there day and night with my baby and seen them

Savanna Cutlip

I had such an amazing experience here throughout my whole pregnancy! I loved my whole team of nurses and doctors and everyone else who helped me. This was my first pregnancy and Lovelace made it so so wonderful.

Anna Grant9

I went to the ER, where I was seen by Michail (sp??) a very nice guy who is Russian by birth but whose English is amazing. My husband heard him tell the staff doctor he thought that I had a c. diff. infection, which turned out to be right. I was admitted directly from the ER. EVERY staff member I dealt with - especially the nurses and techs - were pleasant, patient, and competent. Because I am bilingual and enjoy speaking Spanish when I get the chance, I got to speak Spanish to several of the nurses and techs, which made my heart happy. I was afraid of being a pest and using the "call" button too often, but they reassured me that I did not. Nobody ever "talked down" to me because I am not a medical professional. I still had a long way to go when I was discharged, but the intensive IV medications had definitely started me on the road to recovery. I have been treated in this hospital more than once, and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Kenna Aquilino

My experience at this hospital having my baby should have been beautiful and it was one of the worst experiences of my life. I will NEVER go back and intend to sue the heck out of the hospital for my son having a permanently misshapen head due to their indifference and blowing me off completely. With the exception of two wonderful nurses the staff was rude and inconsiderate. The doctors tricked me into going with a treatment plan I did not want and manipulated me into over medicating myself to the point that I was unable to hold my child or breastfeed him for the first day of his life, this has has consequences for the rest of his life. We were kept much longer than we needed to be and when I asked to be discharged I was told if I left before all the checkboxes were taken care of they would call social services on my son and I. This disgusting hospital is obviously run by the insurance companies and the doctors and nurses clearly do not like working there at all. I cannot day enough bad things about this place and would recommend giving birth in your car before this hell hole!

Alex Ortiz

Wait was not as long as it usually is...got the care and comfortable relief I was looking for... staff was courteous and caring...

Colin Barnett

I went to the ER for chest pains. I am a 66 yr old male. I had an EKG within 5 min of my arrival. Over the next three hours I had two blood tests, an x-ray, and a CT scan. Dr. Disney was excellent, and referred me to a cardiologist for a stress echo. My care was everything I could have expected. I would go there again.

Claudio Martin

I have heard for years about the bad reputation of Lovelace but it was not It until today that I can't emphasize enough how bad it is. I came at 1 pm yesterday with my 90 year old mother dehydrated due to a UTI. It is now 10 am next morning and she had spent all night in the er between moaning people in pain and without her basic day to day medication. This is a disasrter. Regardless of the fact that she suffers from dementia and is semiblind, which made her even more confused, Lovelace lacks all the basic components of consideration and dignity for the elder. I can't wait to change insurance so that she can be treated at Pres. At the end....cheap becomes expensive.

Chess Piercy

I had to go into the er because my tonsils were badly red, swollen and had white sore, in short I was in a lot of pain from it. The nurse was very nice to me off the bat and made me feel very comfortable. The wait time was very short. I have worked at a er before and i must say i enjoyed my experience while i was there. I would give it a full 5 stars. (also there er did not smell of urine so huge bonus)

Fatima Ramadhan

At first it wasn't so bad they got my mom back really fast and in a room drew blood took vitals the whole shindig but after doing the basics we were left in the room for 4 hours with pretty much no communication mind u my mom is 73 years old and is a diabetic they offer nothing to her at all had to go and get her water myself and when I asked if everything was ok I was given an attitude like what did I think was gona happen an in and out visit.... obviously going to the ER we expected to be there awhile but we did not expect the lack of communication and the dirty room with blood on the floor I wish I could post the pic but unfortunately this page prevent me from doing so. I really liked this hospital was actually born here but today was an experience I wouldn't want for anyone

Jo Davis

Gave me MRSA

Linda Taylor

First time At Women’s hospital. Last time for me. I took an ambulance to their emergency room. Pain in my back and and around . I couldn’t walk. I’ve never been to an emergency room before. The employees are so robotic and rude. I was not even seen by a doctor. Long story... the very rude nurse SHARON took me into a room ( after I was sitting in a chair and got up and laid on the floor) Sharon wheeled me into a room and I got into the bed Sharon from the hallway threw my water bottle on the foot of the bed... Terrible place!!!

Falalia Gaming

I passed out hit my head twice going down so I went to the hospital I went in with head trauma and all they did was refer me to a head doctor. I didn't even see a doctor I saw a nurse who stated "we don't have the tools to help you" so I just the "Lovelace women's hospital" doesn't have the tools! What a joke!!

K.I.R Entertainment

The service here was good until my wife went in for surgery and got $200 taken out of her purse before her procedure. I don't understand how people can take advantage of people about to go under. My wife had a panic attack moments after her surgery under the circumstances, because of being overwhelmed thinking she was in good care. This has already happened before according to the nurse. I used to like lovelace women's hospital but after this experience I do not recommend going here.

JMZ

One star is by far too much for this hospital! Nurses are rude and under qualify. They come up with the weirdest rules they loud and disrespectful they take for ever to take care of patients! Room was dirty it was a nightmare been at this hospital! I would never come back to this place. Patty and Lorraine were the worst nurses ever!!!HORRIBLE. - 3 stars.

Stormi Schoenradt

DO NOT go to this ER if you are seriously injured, as I have waited 3+ HOURS to be seen. I love the maternity ward, as they are fantastic, but the ER staff have NEVER been helpful in my experience. I almost lost my baby because they wouldn't believe how ill I was, and recently scolded me because my doctor sent me to the ER for a torn shoulder, and this ER staff didn't "believe me", even though I had the referral from my doctor (the ER doctor looked at the referral, and LAUGHED as if the urgent care I went to was a joke to her). So if you need an ER, I would highly recommend NOT going to this one.

Athena Mae

Although the ED is small they are efficient and competent. If you happen to need to stay the Dr's and nurses are friendly and above par however.... I'm not impressed with the GI clinic the nurse practitioner is lacking and far below par when it comes to fully understanding what is wrong with her patient.

Barrack007

I understand there is a very high mortality rate in this Hospital. The infant deaths are so many compared to other Hospitals. I would not go there. I have heard night mares about those poor babies and bad Doctors. To many die from backward treatments or old ways. There are many advanced methods that are not practiced in this NICU. Investigate please, do not risk your babies life.

Joe Edward

Great staff. Very caring doctors. Thank you for taking such great care of my Mom.

blake hutton

They treat you with respect

Kayla Rascon

Just as all the other reviews I wish I could give this place 0 stars. I was "seen" by "Dr" William Roethel. He is the worst dr I have ever seen. He did not care about anything I was going through. I was in so much pain I asked the nurse who was also rude to tell the doctor. 30 minutes went by of me crying in pain and no one came in. Me and my husband had to go out of the room to try to find help for ourselves. The dr was right there and didn't even acknowledge me! The nurse walked by and I told him I need help! He said ya he told the doctor and pointed towards him. And I said ok when is he going to come and help me. He said he didn't know but I needed to go back into my room. Still the dr who was maybe 5 feet away didn't even say or do anything. We waited about 15 more minutes. He came in with attitude. He would not let me talk he kept interrupting me. My husband stood up for me and told him to let me talk so he could understand what I was going through. He got so mad his face started turning red. I kept talking. I stopped and he said "Are you done?" And I said well ya, he just resaid what he had already told me. I had something else to say and when I was done he again said sarcastically "are you done" and I told him ya you know what I am because I am not going to let you disrespect me or my husband. I had to leave without being helped or know that I am ok.

Jeweleah Jones

I have a blood clot in my leg, my doctor told me to immediately go to the emergency room because it could be deadly. Waited hours with my toddler, everyone went infront of me. Had to leave and go to a different ER. Awful front desk staff, incredibly rude, disrespectful, and unconcerned. I don't know her name but if she worked Wednesday night on the 18th of July, she was absolutely awful.

I usually have good experiences here but I am scheduled for surgery this morning. And I was told to be here at 6 am and check in at radiology. Well it's passed 6 am no one was at radiology so I walked around the building (since doors were locked this early), to ask the ER check in what to do and he said check in is by the lobby. Go to the lobby and?? No one is there to check me in and all the lights are off. So I don't know if my surgery is happening today or not now that I am 30 mins late and still no one working to check me in. Great!

Catalina

By far the worst service or care.. the ER real time wait is over 2 hours not 30 min like they claim. Love-less is right they dont care about you or your emergency trust me!!! Go to pres or unm screw this place!!!!

virgo rose

We've been waiting for over 6 hours. I know it is first come, first serve basis, but they didn't even take my son's temperature. He vomited 4 times while waiting. Plus, he and I both have been misdiagnosed, and because of that, he had to be hospitilized. The worst.

Jesse Yates

We've delivered all of our children here. Other than the Tricore staff, everyone has been fantastic and seem to love working here.

Chu's Fam

Very good doctors and nurses in L&D. They were so good to us.

Desia Mares

I have been at the ER twice at the women’s hospital and both times they treated me beyond well, like a human being! Nothing in this world is perfect and sometimes you have to wait longer than you would like to, but overall they were just plain awesome, caring, and knowledgeable. I will always be grateful to the staff that took care of me there. Thank you guys.

Jessica R.

I love this hospital and the staff, especially the NICU nurses. They take wonderful care of the babies here. I am a nurse and did quite a bit of research and this is the best NICU in my opinion. The mortality rate is very low, less than half the national average, so your baby will get great care, be very safe in a locked unit, and eventually come home with you after the doctor says he/she is ready. Have your baby here, you won't be sorry.

Tina Overbay

This hospital is pathetic they got my current medications listed for a med that I'm not even on n when I asked for pain meds for my muscle spasms they were RUDE to me n denied me any medication. Whoever doin paperwork is ruining the experience for us who need help luckily I looked at my paperwork b4 I left n seen they made a HUGE mistake. I went back to the ER n waited again! Finally Michelle( heaven sent )pulled me back n apologized for misunderstanding n got me prescription s for my pain. Over all I will say go to unm it's worth the wait! These baffoon men nurses dunno what they're doing.

Sara Douglas

Horrible experience. Guy drawing blood was great but dr or whatever she was...she was rude, unhelpful, and I still have headache. Didnt care or help.

Tyler Groff

Hands down the worst experience I have ever had. Nurse practitioner Chase Powell told me there is nothing he can do for me. Symptoms (coughing blood, green And brown discharge from lungs, shortness of breath as well as stopping breathing in my sleep) ask if anything will help from over the counter he says no. Just time! Unacceptable. The discharge nurse comes in (very sweet) with my papers and said if I have shortness of breath or coughing up green/brown come back!!! That's what I was there for.

Gabriel Chavarria

Was there for 3 hours and lot's of people coming in and getting seen before me and still did not wanna see me will never go back to this place also if you wanna get seen then lie to them

Shelby Skeet

I am 6 weeks pregnant, went to lovelace ER for slight bleeding and cramping. They checked me and not once did i get checked on by a doctor. All i talked to was a nurse the 5 hours i was there. I was told i and my baby where ok. Come the next day the bleeding got worse called the ob/gyn department so i don't waist my time in the er again. I was then told, "you miss carried all you can do is let it run the course." -midwife nurse. DO NOT let the benefits pull you in. I will now be going to a different hospital but now look down on this hospital with the worst medical care. I did not once have a doctor what so ever come talk to me and disclose what is going on with me or my baby.

Megan Quintana

Great place the people are helpful and loving!!!

AJ Sol

Just an awful, mismanaged filthy place. Ive seen cleaner, more professional hospitals in remote areas of South America. I was handed a urinal to use and it was full of the previous patients urine. Nurses were really passive aggressive. No real concern for your comfort. Paid a lot of lip service about "I'll bring your tray, or let me check on your lab work" but then never return. Some nurses were nice and the doctor was pleasant but it's obvious no one is worried about losing their job in that place which is concerning when these people are in charge of life and death matters. These people care more about gossiping with each other than making sure you're ok. Very unsettling.

Very horrible experience at this hospital.not once did we ever hear from a dr,on the progress of our newborn.Even after we had requested to speak with him several times a day.comunication between drs and nurses is disgustingly horrible. Several times we were told by nurses that our baby was ready to go home with us,only to have our happiness destroyed hours later by the nurse practitioner telling us she isnt. The staff is disgustingly discriminative and biased as well. Both my wife and i are medical marijuana recipients.we even have our cards. And they refused us our right to breastfeed our baby! While right down the hall from us they were allowing a mother fresh off of haroin, and on methadone was breastfeeding. There are thousands of tests that prove marijuana does not show up in breast milk. But i guess their view is if it isnt thier drugs,it must be unsafe. The midwife we had just after birth felt it was neesesary to force her views on my wife, minuites after giving birth, and began to tell her that she had been poisoning our daughter the entire time. We are not the average pot heads. We have real medical conditions, and we have chosen thc as our medicine, rather than being on handfulls of big pharmas poison.we are adults, who have done our research, and have made an adult decision. Needless to say. The nurses there were awesome, but do to the lack of progressive views their for safer alternative medicines, and due to the fact that they allow their staff to use thsir job as a platform to express their old world views... I and my family will never set foot in loveless womans hospital again. And i will discourage anyone else from doing the same.

Darlene Servana

I will post my experience about this place when this nightmare is over. But I will never recommend this place even to my enemy. Posting a simple response like " I would like to know more about it please email me at...." Would not even begin to correct this nightmare. Please go through the records, then ask my daughter where the inconsistency began. Worst place to give birth, and do not believe the crap they try to tell you on the tour. Birth plans are not followed, and watch out for their so called virus 48 hour hold which tends to run weeks instead. Most staff members in the NICU ignore the crying babies, and alarms going off, claim faulty equipment. If it is faulty, why is it still being used? Especially, in Newborn Intensive Care Unit? How intensive is the care if babies are screaming and alarms are being ignored? Something to think about.

Jeramae Perez

Quick check in and to be seen right away friendly caring and kind.

Jairo Alvarado

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE FROM THE E.R. AND GENERAL SURGERY. I had abdominal pain and couldn't stand the pain. I rushed myself to the Emergency Room of Lovelace Hospital by Montgomery and Jefferson. The wait was long but Once I got inside A nice Nurse Named Renee another one named Aire treated me immediately gave me pain medication. After getting my Diagnosis of a small bowel obstruction, I got admitted to the second floor with General Surgery team where I also got treated very well. It is hard to remember everyone specially being under pain medications, but I remember a Nurse named Nicole, Mizba a tech named Matthew and another named Melissa. But even all those who's name I don't remember were very nice and treated me well. THANK YOU ALL!

Eleanor Bravo

Our recent experience at the day surgery was a nightmare. The staff was so rude. The care was substandard. There was little to no communication regarding recovery, then rushed to discharge because it was getting late in the day. When we asked for a different medication, the nurse claimed they could not do that and I would have to call the Dr. office. I did so and the Dr. office said she needed to page the Dr. I told them she refused and they should instruct her to do so. There was no written record of what oral medication was administered nor what time. We left the hospital with no viable pain protocol and ended up calling the on call Dr. that evening. If you have other options, don't go to this facility.

Joey Joe Maldonado

I have always enjoyed all of the Lovelace hospitals this one is by far my favorite.

Christian K

Loved this hospital. Delivered both my children here. They have only improved. The nurses deserve so much praise.

Ky Riecke

I was beyond empressed with the quality of care I received while getting diagnosed as well as when I received the corrective surgery. The team of nurses and Dr.s that worked with me were incredible and even when they struggled figuring out what was wrong, they did not give up.The day of the surgery I was of course nervous but the doctors, nurses and techs were very understanding and they truly made me feel as if i were in the best hands. I really appreciate everything they did, how i was treated and the highest hospital care I've ever received. Thank you Dr. Lebya and your team for your hard work and dedication to your patients.

Ryan T

We have generally received good care here over the years, until now. My wife went in for an exam, waited one hour after checking in, then was sent to an exam room and got to wait another hour. She finally gave up and left. This was after having to wait a week for an appointment even though she told the desk person she was having unusual pains. Apparently the staff does not understand that many patients have jobs and it costs money in lost wages or used leave to see a doctor. Both the receptionist and nurse seemed indifferent and uncaring. Not very good traits to have when you work with people needing care. This was in the OB-GYN offices, third floor.

The Renumerator

Always open, always ready.

Jarold Flibbin

I would have given this place the 5 stars only because its had great patient care in the past but Im here typing this from the wait chair Ive been in for about exactly 3 hours now and have yet to be pulled back or put in a room to at least make the symptoms subside a little. They literally have people in pain crying to be seen and the enthusiasm on these faces is ridiculous! What they want is people to wait 3 hours and leave that way it leaves a few people in the chairs and thats when they want to start pulling patients back. This hopsital used to be very different now its just as bad as all the other ER's in ABQ.

Richard Montoya

We woke up in scare in horrified terror thinking that We might have had a miscarried 28 week pregnancy. We showed up early morning At about 7:30 in the morning. Our terror quickly changed into extreme excitement being that this was our 7th child and they found his heart beat. They told us we were gonna have the baby. They told me that sense it was so critical that We had to get transported down to the women's hospital, so they told me to meet them and drive myself.I had no problem with that because I wanted the best care for my child and my wife . We had our baby and everything seemed to be OK, visiting him in the NICU every chance I can. I do own a reputable business in Town and I support all my children without any Assistance . Anybody who knows me knows that I stay away from alcohol for the obvious reasons,it doesn't do anything for anybody. I mean obviously wouldn't be good for my 6 children or my family . Somebody had the audacity to call CYFD and report myself saying that they thought that I was intoxicated around my new infant child during the process of his birth. Now I have CYFD involved in my life dealing with These false accusations which are absolutely absurd .. What I don't understand is they all acted so nice and excited for us and for them to go behind our back and make a report that is so ridiculous is beyond me . All our other children were born at a local nearby hospital and I will not ever recommend Anybody I know to deal with this hospital for having a baby, Beware of this hospital ...

Lesley Worrell

If I could give Lovelace less than 1 star I would. The "ER Wiat time" ads look good but they are a straight up lie. The wait time is to check in and be triaged. But then you get to sit and wait in the filthy waiting rooms which are far from HIPPA compliant as everyone can hear your business. The clerk's are behind glass with a speaker to talk to you but you have to basically yell so they can hear you. Lovelace is disorganized, filthy, difficult to deal with and the majority of the staff seems only half interested in helping patients. Having gone through a major illness with my mother here I can tell you this is a long time on going systemic problem. This facility needs a major overhaul urgently. I have finally convinced my mom to switch insurance so we don't have to deal with Lovelace anymore.

Candace Lopez

I am currently 32 weeks pregnant and have been getting prenatal care from K. Hewlett on the 3rd floor (she is wonderful). The maternity staff seem to be nice for the most part, it's the rest of the hospital that concerns me. I had to a 3 hour glucose test and decided to do it at this hospital because it is convenient for me. The first day I was advised to fast for 12 hours before doing the test and that is what I did but when I went the next day to get it done, the doctor had not put in the order for the blood work so I had to wait 24 hours for it to be put in. The next day I went in and had to stay in the ER while waiting for my test. The ER soon became crowded. One elderly man came in complaining of a heart attack and almost fell on the floor! The man could barely talk or breath but the admitting nurse was only concerned about his name and insurance card! The mans wife came in shortly after and was really upset because her husband was having a heart attack and they still made him sit in the ER waiting to be seen! After that, a lady came in with a really bad wound to her wrist and all they did was give her a name band and have her sit in the ER with no bandage or anything to clean up her blood that was clearly soaking up the rag she had brought with her. Next, my husband and son went to the lobby and my son accidentally spilled his coke on the floor. My husband began to clean it up with napkins and a really rude elderly nurse told him to "back off and leave it alone, you are just making it worse" and my husband told her he was just trying to cover it up since she didn't seem to care to put wet floor signs or anything like that. The nurse decided to go to a different person waiting in the lobby and start talking about us causing a problem! If they were so concerned about the coke being cleaned properly, why were they not concerned about the blood spatter all over the entrance of the ER ? I was so mad but we just walked out. After reading all of the reviews I am considering going to Presbyterian for the remainder of my labor and my delivery. This place is awful.

Deyanira Ramirez

Amazing i was in risk of miscarriage and they treated me so well. I got an ultrasound every week, due to being high risk. I love this hospital and recommend it to everyone

Sara Montoya

Horrible bedside manner. Horrible customer service. The desk staff are rude. The nurse staff is rude. I hate this hospital. If you want to have good quality care with human beings who take pride in their work DO NOT GO HERE. I had my daughter there three years ago and it was an absolutely horrible experience from start to finish.

Desiree Garcia

Didnt help me with pregnancy. Ended up losing baby.

Arlene Trujillo

Worse place to have baby no woder their rated a two should rate a one or even a zero

Bobby Hernandez

We are in a room where our mew granddaughter has just been born. The room is so nice and comfortable and comes with a fold out bed for daddy to sleep!

Rocio Torres

We chose this hospital for our baby's birth after searching for a few other options around the city. We dont regret our decision. We had excelent service from the begining. The whole staff, the infrastructure, the rooms, everything makes you feel more comfortable, considering you are hospitalized and going through many difficult health situations.

Gina Aragon

I recently had a knee replacement surgery done at Lovelace Women's Hospital. While on my way into surgery things were extraordinary. Staff and facility very professional and compassionate. Waiting area and surgical area very clean. Once on the floor things changed. Room was very dirty, floor so nasty a few steps on my barefeet as if I was walking in the streets. Trash was not emptied my 4 day stay. Some staff on the ball; however upwards of 45 minutes before response to call light initiation. Tech assistance extremely poor, reluctant to offer real assistance. Handwashing not done most times didn't occur. No hand sanitizer in dispenser entire stay. I feel for the young Mother's that are coming here to have their babies, let alone folks having surgery staying in dirty rooms subject to infection they shouldn't get.

Jessica Santiago

Always a great experience!

Juana T

Completely unprofessional at every level. I am currently 9 months pregnant and am regretting staying with Lovelace. The check in staff have forget to tell my midwife that I had arrived (45 min wait) at the clinic. I have also had a midwife switched on me without any notification right before the appointment! I have seen a few different midwives, and they have all given me contradictory information form what the other midwifes and internet has suggested. I do not know who to trust or what is going on. Now I am hyper critical of everything that is told to me, so I have been questioning everything and have met only one midwife that has not taken offense to my need to understand what and why they do what they do. If you are stuck at Lovelace, understand that it is not acceptable for the nurse to command you to drop your pants and refuse to an explanation! * Also note that many of the good reviews are bad reviews copied and pasted or have no content

Jay Smilinghorse

I have no clue 1st time here. Went so wrong, was misdiagnosed by the doctor on duty. The doctor didn't even take the time to actually do a check of what I went in for! Then I was discharged about 10 minutes after! Soooooooo

freddie maestas

Under construction and wait time is 4-6 hrs to get a room or seen and 2 hrs to get triage

Fernando padilla

NEGATIVE⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐....who says you can't give negative STARS??? I just did and it's well deserved!!! the 6th star is to cancel out the one you have to put in order to post a message!! This hospital is trash and all the staff!!!

Scott C

Delivered our first child at Lovelace this week, and the level of attentiveness, professionalism, and knowledge from every member of the staff was beyond our expectations. Everyone at Lovelace in the Labor and Delivery, and Family Birthing Center went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of during our stay. Devan, Yvette, Dr. Contreras, and McKenna, were absolutely amazing; we couldn't have done it without them. Highly recommend Lovelace Womens.

Michelle Candelaria

The midwives and nurses were all so nice and took such great care of me and both my newborns. Here you aren't just another patient, you are a person who is about or already has given birth to a baby. Then to top it all off I got a Mommy message!

Sarah Moore

I would give fewer stars if possible, but I can't. After birth the hospital would not provide lactation consultant services when asked multiple times, even though they had a consultant available. Nurses could not code correctly for pregnancy-related services, and because of this, my insurance couldn't cover expenses that are normally covered. After eight months dealing with debt collectors, it's still not fully resolved. We have only been able to make progress recently by having our lawyer get involved, as the company was unhelpful/uncaring in resolving this issue. This event has led to TONS of added stress for a first-time mother, which obviously killed my milk supply, and I now have no option to breast feed my child. These events led to my child's placement in the zeroth percentile for weight. Definitely not having my next child at Lovelace hospital!

lesledonn

I delivered my daughter at Lovelace Women's Hospital. It was a great experience. From the time I got there they respected my wishes and birth plan. They were sensitive to my concerns. Following delivery, all of the providers were very attentive and helpful. They supported all of our parenting decisions. I recommend delivering at Lovelace.

Vanilla Guerrilla 505

This place is amazing me and my girlfriend are having twins in April and they have been wonderful

Leona John

Loved my care i recieved for the birth of my first baby! They were very informative, very clean, super nice, and just overall amazing! Also when i had an emergency the staff was amazing.

Kayla Navarro

ER nurse sent us home without getting any blood tests or anything done, even though we requested. Went to a different (much better ER) and turns out it was pneumonia. Not only did they make us feel like we were wasting their time, they were completely unreceptive to our concerns. Seriously a terrible experience and terrible staff too

Kristina Lopez

I love love love this hospital. They definitely took care of myself & all my children I delivered there. Not only that, when I had my gallbladder & hernia removed they also took care of me and always made sure I wasn't in pain, made sure I had all my prescription/medications. Always answered any questions... called me after I was already discharged the following day to see how I'm doing and if I needed anything to contact them. I highly recommend this hospital for pregnant women, or to anyone that needs immediate help, emergency care, health treatment whatever it is Lovelace woman's hospital will help you and direct you to where you need to be. My first experience with this hospital was when I had my first child, a little over 3 years ago. It was amazing. The staff was so wonderful. There was a nurse in to check on me every 30-45 minutes to make sure I was comfortable, and they were all very kind. Once my son was born, they took great care of both he and myself. I was so scared going through labor for the first time, and my mind was immediately put at ease. Now I'm 32 weeks with my second child, and yesterday at about 4am I went in with what I thought was preterm labor pain. They immediately took me to a room and hooked up all the monitors to make sure baby was okay. It turns out I had kidney stones for the first time. I was so sick and in pain, and at that point dehydrated, and they took great care of me. They tried hard to make me as comfortable as possible, they did a great job getting an iv in even though my veins were collapsing, they offered several different pain med options after confirming it was stones, and ran all possible tests to be certain nothing else was going on. I love this hospital and its staff and I look forward to my daughter being born there soon.

Yesenia Almanza

This place sucks since I've been here I've been having different opinions from all kinds if doctors I feel like I'm a rat in a labortory !!!!! I've been one week and all I here is lies from all the doctors the don't keep there word they changed there mind constantly!!!! And they make me feel they have no idea what to do with me and my twins. Why make you sign paperwork for nothing ? I wish I had only one doctor and not many this is the worst place ever!!!!! Think about it if your having twins don't come here

Yogirlvale

I been in the ER lobby for 5 hours already, they had told me 2 more minutes when it's been hours!! Don't want to provide medication while I wait.

Thousand Andi

Called hear to try to get an appointment and the person who answered was incredibly rude. I get that their jobs are stressful but that doesn't mean you treat people like they are stupid and then hang up on them. Definitely going somewhere else.

Diane Martinez

Patient care is horrible. Nursing staff leaves much to be desired. I was treated and stayed here 4 times in the past 2 years. I don't ever want to go back. My doctor won't send patients here anymore either. I was trying to get a copy of my records. Another run around. Don't go here.

Yvonne Pettine-Padilla

They are all so nice and concerned

Amanda Andrade

I’ve taken my kids to the ER several times now. And the staff has been nothing but wonderful. I’m so grateful for them. My son was involved in an incident this weekend. I rushed him in and as always they were so amazing. Thank you for all you do!

monique arvizu

The ER here is horrible, i was there with my 2 month old son that had a really high fever 100.6 and they took 45 minutes to call us back. With a lobby that was not busy at all! There were 3 drunks in here that got taken back before my son! I do not reccomend this place! If you need good and fast pediatric care please go to UNMH!

Michelle Silvas

My mom had a hysterectomy and I'm glad us daughters stayed with my mom because these nurses must get paid to walk around and look pretty... we waited til 11 and called various times for a nurse to help and shower my mom ... I ended up doing what these nurses get paid to do ....constant calling nurses to do their jobs ....we traveled 4 hours from southeastern nm to have surgery.... and even our local hospital are better than this hospital. ...

Megan Bradford

I've always been sent to Presbyterian Hospital, Kasemen and Downtown for any kind of procedure or exam. However, I was just recently sent to Lovelace Woman's Hospital for a follow up CT scan. The staff and facilities here were less than adequate compared to the quality of care, customer service and the quality of facilities of other hospitals. I was disappointed in the way the staff cared more about talking about staff politics and gossip than checking in a patient or addressing them. You don't have to stop what you are doing in order to sit up and to recognize a person, inform that you'll be with them in a moment and then wrap up what your doing. I'd also like to add that the CT Tech that performed my scan, DID NOT wear gloves while he was administering my IV or when he went to remove it. The table in which he placed to the items needed for starting an IV line was a table for serving food and had NO sterile clothes or anything that you always see in a hospital or clinic. I left feeling very uncomfortable and sick to my stomach. Hopefully, this will be my last interaction and visit to a Lovelace hospital.

Barbara Collins

This hospital and it's staff have been so attentive and caring toward my Mom and our family during my Mom's stay. They have taken excellent care of her but have cared for all of us as well, I cannot say enough good things about the people who work here, they are amazing!

Antonio Salazar

I went once to loveless woman's hospital a now i wont go anywhere else. Five stare hospital

C Wall

Great staff. Professional, kind, organized, no wait time. Dr. Awwad is so kind. She appreciated the green tea i brought for her. :) The interns are incredible, too.

April O'Neil

Waited 5 hours In the ER!!!! This place is horrible!!! Go to UNM ER or urgent care they will treat you better! If it was half a star I would rate it half a star. Don’t come here!!!

Emily Hermlee

This place did not but the my health first. We waited for 3.5 hours while people with less serious problems were seen first. The RA that triaged me was extremely rude. Thought my condition was emergent, but they didn’t think so, so I left and went somewhere else.

Elizabeth Alvarado

Awful experience:( they took so long, and the staff not very helpful I’m very disappointed, never going back there again.

Linda Gardner

We are writing to share with you the amazing experience we had in your hospital on 2/8/18 and 2/9/18. You alway hear when something is wrong but rarely do you hear when something is right. Our experience at Lovelace Women’s Hospital was nothing short of fantastic. The staff for both daytime and evening were remarkable, respectful and provided exceptional care. And what a jewel Deanne the surgical coordinator is. At one point, Janet suffered orthostatic hypotension. Within moments of detecting a problem, the room was filled with someone from each department including the Chaplain so that they would be at the ready should they be needed. Once the issue was determined and resolved, we were able to go home that day. At every turn, your staff displayed professionalism and genuine concern for the patient and the patient’s family. We cannot begin to express our thanks to all of your staff! Had this been written sooner, we could have added some well deserved names. Unfortunately, all of the names have escaped our memory but that does not diminish the excellence of care that we received. Thank you to all!!!

Cori Grissom

The L&D dept was amazing. My nurse was so kind and caring and even stayed after her shift to be there for my baby's debut. Everyone i came in contact with was friendly and helpful. We forgot a special stuft animal at the hospital and it was still there waiting for me 2 weeks later. I have been to different hospitals for birth but this was by far my best experience. Thank you for having such compassionate loving people on your staff.

Suzanne Rios

I'm beyond disappointed in this office to put it nicely. I called and waited for the nurse staff or Dr. to call me back and ended up in Urgent Care because I waited and have yet to get a call back... I can not believe we pay for this crappy service. I think it might be time to change Dr.s. Thanks for nothing. I do not even want to give this place a star but I had to for this review.. I love Dr. Peng but her staff is beyond horrible no communication and they lie.. They will NEVER call you back..

Kate Lungul

Based on other's labor and delivery reviews I must say I was pretty nervous delivering here. But it was an awesome experience. When it was action time Dr. Moya and staff were so attentive and organized. Everything was done with military precision. The after care was so wonderful too. My nurses Jennifer, Yvette, Lynn were amazing! (Forgive me if I'm forgetting someone!). So caring and lovely. Thank you everyone for taking care of us!

Thaddeaus Owen

I brought my mother in for surgery last month, I have been waiting too long to write this. The volunteer that met us in the front , Deanne?, was awesome!!!!! A truly lovely lady. Once seated there was a indigent fellow who staggered into the area. Security arrived in seconds, (probably just walking through, but he knew who he was looking for) the man was really drunk, the guard, Jessie? was the most professional I have ever seen. Calm and nice but firm, even after the drunk said some very bad racial slurs he just kept his cool and led him out the door. My mom's nurses were also awesome and very kind to her, I did not see any names on them. But all were very good and very compassionate. They answered my questions without acting as if I was a bother. They relaxed her and made her feel comfortable.

Rheanna Guinn

They gave me an ice pack and sent me home after a car accident for my knee. They said it wasnt broken and I'm fine. I cant work on my knee and I cant get proper healthcare, after I told them I tore something in my knee. Idiots. If I tore something why would I need an xray for my bones. Typical healthcare. They dont even care about people anymore. Dont go here. Patient beware.

Claster Mccarrick

Was flown here from Roswell with contractions at 25 weeks, Roswell had my mag levels way to high I couldn't even move my head from side to side or raise my hand, here they took me off it and just have me a pill to control contractions, my nurse is awesome and has gotten me a mt dew from the cafeteria with my meals, my nurse last night was awesome too, the nurses at Roswell were extremely rude to me about going into pre term labor that had an how dare you attitude about it and when I asked about when something would happen like when I would go home, when I first got there I didn't expect to be flown out here, anyways the answer was always smart ass like oh you'll go home when you go home, the nurses here are so much nicer.

The misleading wording for your name of your hospital is gender biased with special regards to our members of society that might have a mental instability I'm not be able to receive health care because of their gender being a male this also can be looked upon as being sexist please change your name to love LanceHospital studies in Women Health we have received over 972 complaints from members of our society regarding your name of the Hospital. Happy with the services offered at this hospital. Friendly staff, and efficient usually don't have to wait long to get called into my appointments.Dr. Peng is a great doctor would recommend her to any woman looking for a good doctor.

I love this hospital. I had our first child there almost 4 years ago, and it was a great experience. Everything went according to my birth plan, and all of the nurses and doctor were wonderful! With our second, who was just born last month, things were a little different. First, she decided she was going to be born at only 35 weeks. Then she decided she wasn't going to wait, for anyone or anything! ;) I was so scared because, unlike my son, she was going to be a preemie, and because I quickly realized there wasn't time for an epidural like there had been with my son-which I had not been mentally prepared for at all and was freaking out! The delivery doctor, Stephanie (not sure of last name), was absolutely wonderful! I am SO glad she was the one there that night to help me through the most terrifying moment of my life. She was so calm, and reassuring. She didn't pressure me to do anything I wasn't comfortable doing. The nurse, I believe her name was Patricia, was also wonderful. She was very reassuring and helpful, and when it came time for me to push she was kind enough to get another nurse to watch my son outside the room so my husband could stay with me! These ladies, went above and beyond! The nurses that took care of me afterwards were also great, and the nicu team was wonderful! Took great care of our baby girl. Luckily she only had to be there for 7 days before coming home! I am so thankful for Lovelace Women's Hospital and their beautiful staff!

I was scared out of my mind going in for a fairly major surgery. Every person I encountered was kind and compassionate in helping me through the experience. Each person did their job with professionalism and to their utmost ability....and I am so thankful. I wouldn't hesitate to go to Lovelace Women's Hospital again for medical services.

Sitting in the ER for 3 hours with a 9 year old with a gaping wound on her leg. I will never come back here again. Completely ridiculous.

My Son was Born with a Awful puncture wound on his head from an Internal monitor they kept inside me!!! Don't have your baby here!! They force your labor for the convenience of the staff. Horrible bedside manners , they don't care about you or your child. I will have my next baby at Dara Luz

William Martinez

Been here four hour with my diabetes wife, with severe pain , test were given once we arrived. After all test were completed, placed in a waiting room four hours later no que what going on. Maybe they are hoping she will die prior to see her

Diana Alvidrez

No communication at all the nurse would tell me your really to have your baby I'll go get the midwife cause the Dr. Is very busy with another patient. Midwife comes in right after the nurse left, and tells me I wasn't ready. At the it end it was time for me to have my daughter when I did they didn't tell me what to do I did it all on my own with the experience the Dr. taught with my first daughter from Presbyterian. When I had my daughter I almost lost her nurses never cleaned her out or wiped her down. It's horrible I don't recommend no to go here.

In reality, I more than hated it, but they dn't have minus 1. Don't have your baby here; the staff is RUDE and uninterested in your problems. You can never catch a doctor cause they can't talk to you 'cause they are busy. Midwives were AWFUL. After this experience I would never set foot in this place again. Save yourself the heartache, DON'T GO THERE! They are severely understaffed and the ones who are there are disgruntled because they are overloaded. DON'T HAVE YOUR BABY HERE, THEY ARE AWFUL. Who knows who will deliver it, but you can almost guarantee they will be RUDE!

I was there today for a quick procedure and was very happy with the whole experience from checkg-in to release. The surgical team on the 2nd floor were so friendly, yet very professional. They anticipate the patient's needs (warmed blankets and socks) and constantly checked in to see if I needed anything. The procedure went very smoothly and I was given a full report to take with me. The facility itself is very attractive inside and felt upscale and calming. I had to drive from Santa Fe to this location, but would gladly do so again, if needed.

Worst experience with a surgery center I’ve ever experianced from either side of the glass. Surgeon great but all other aspects of the experience worst I’ve ever seen. Don’t use this facility if you want to be there for or have a loved one by your side for comfort. Cold, clueless workers and creepy volunteers.

Been here a few times and most have been okay but today these so called doctors want to sit here and bet on how high a patients blood sugar is and making fun of peoples complaints and problems even though we've been here for 3 hours with no results, no response in what is causing my wife's pain or anything else. Love that people want to come and collect a paycheck without doing their job

Well I had high hopes for this hospital. All those hopes were dashed when I got to my appointment. I had Mr. Shelbern as a doctor. He was completely dismissive of anything I had to say. He went on to form an idea in his head of what was wrong with me. It was wrong. I have NEVER been made to feel as low and disrespected as I did leaving my appointment yesterday. He talked down to me for about 20mins. Told me I had strained abs and to not do anything for six weeks...he also went as far as saying "well I guess if you keep looking you'll eventually find someone who will operate on you". I feel like he was just trying to playing mind games after a statement like that. What was he trying to get at with that statement? What would make someone who is supposed to be helping and caring for your health say that unkind and hurt thing???? I think he needs a write up and made to take bedside manner classes....or better yet not to practice anymore medicine!

Been in the er almost 2 hours with a 3 year old with a temp of 100.... did I mention there's no 1 here including staff

Patrick Castillo

It was better than I expected considering what I was told by patients who had care. What I didn't care for was the cafeteria service, they are rude and charge whatever they want. The evening staff charged me $1.00 per tea bag. The next morning I went back to see how much and the weekend staff charged me .50 cents. They speak with yea and what do you want attitude. They are polite to the employees though, but if you are visiting well that's a different story.

Went in for a knee replacement. Staff was very professional and went beyond for my personal comfort. I have never been treated better at any hospital in all my life. I have another knee to replace and this is where it will happen. If you are having problems with this staff, you need to purchase a mirror.

I HAD TWO OF MY CHILDREN AT LOVELACE WOMEN'S HOSPITAL AND IT WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. THEY REALLY HAVE GREAT STAFF AND A GREAT FACILITY!

Teresa Marshall

This is by far one of the worst emergency rooms in Albuquerque, the nurses seemed to forget that my friend was even sitting in their Er in pain. The two Dr's she saw were of giant quack magnitude. They were supposed to redress her wound on her leg but they couldn't n even get that straight. They were gonna release her without even taking the old wound dressing off. I feel quite guilty because I am the one who told her that lovelace was a great hospital. Boy did the womans hospital prove me to be a liar. I would not even give them the one star I had to give them in order to post this.believe me if you are dying or truly need medical attention do not choose here for you will surly die.

Mothers, Father's, Grandparents Do not let your women get touched by "Dr." Jenine Valdez. She is a lazy doctor who will not order needed blood tests or not call other hospitals to confirm the at risk mother. I say loosley "Doctor" because she did not do her due diligence and caused a full term pregnancy to become a full term still born death. I am quite shocked that she even still has her medical license. Just be forewarned that if you were to go to this hospital for birthing help you may instead have to plan a furneral. She doesn't care and is a lazy "doctor" that you are a high risk patient. She will expect you the patient to do all the foot work. Guess she rose to her rank and feels it beneath her to do any kind of grunt work, go here at your own risk of have a dead baby leaving the hospital rather than a joyous occasion of celebration.

Best hospital by far and I've been to many this is definitely the place to go if you need help fast

The ER is fabulous! Staff is efficient, skilled, and caring. The hospital, which I have spent 4 days at, and have 3 to go, has mostly great nursing staff (although I had one daytime dud) and med tech staff. They are grossly understaffed, and have some poor management systems in place. Had I known when I went to the ER that I had even a remote chance of being admitted, I would never have gone in. I was admitted for the treatment of a kidney & bladder infection, sepsis, and dangerously low potassium levels. My second night, it took the nurses station 2.5 hours to respond to my call to change my IV solutions and treat me for severe dizziness and nausea. Good thing I wasn’t dying! My wife brought a cooler of water, ginger ale and protein drinks so that I would not need to wait for replenishment. Pretty sad. My granddaughter was born here 3 years ago, and the quality of care for our daughter was just as poor then.

If I could give no stars I would. Diana Kaufman, a practitioner, continuously interrupted me during a cardiology appointment. She was short and very rude, especially with my 9 year old daughter being present. As having cardio issues was scary enough, having someone call you names and not listening to concerns is a red flag! I would steer clear of these office, which is sad because the rest of the staff and cardiologist are great. Even when I was expressing myself to the receptionist because I walked out of my appointment after being with this lady for about 4 minutes, Diana follows me to the receptionist desk and continues to "mouth off" more. Her actions are unacceptable and she is a new hire. Í hope she isn't hired for much longer or someone will end up dying due to her lack of education and care that any normal staff in the medical field would otherwise give.

Need to build a parking garage!! 20 minutes late because there is NO PARKING.. Horrible!

Labor and delivery nurses were beyond amazing my experience there i will forever be greatfull as a 1st time mommy and had a very difficult labor ended in csection.... Getting to recovery after is another story. The night nurses forget my meds, im having to remind them or wake up in pain. Cant get ahold of them. And the nursery next to nicu again at night shift are neglecting my baby. My sons nurse is so lazy we caught her stuffing a large towel in his face while he sleeps to hold a forced pacifier in his mouth so she dosent have to deal with his crying!!! Me and my husband still cant believe this. They also never keep us updated his heart rate dropped and needed x reys along with oxygen and an i.v we were notified of any of this untill we got there to visit him and we saw his oxygen etc. And then the nurse notified us of what happen.... Soooo disappointed and very upset.
