One of the worst medical centers I have been too, they will rush you out and misdiagnose. They are literally letting people die and the staff has the attitude of a giraffe with a broken neck. Would not recommend if you can afford go to Rehoboth or somewhere they will take your time and health seriously

Very very slow even if you have an appt?? Staying after surgery is worse! They check on you the 1st hour then nothing, tried pushing nurses help button waited 15 mins nothing!! Had to go to counter & get help nurse was very rude sarcastic & acted like we were UNCONVINCING him??

My daughter was born here on February 15th of this year. I go in to establish paternity and am turned away because i dont have my social security card. I had a photo id & my official birth certificate. The racist clerk cleary didnt like the fact that my daughter is mixed. My daughter is six months old now & we still dont have a birth certificate due to incompetent morons masquerading as professionals. The WORST hospital in the nation. No contest.

It used to be a whole lot worse. Its gotten slightly better, friendlier staff/receptionist/nurses. Wait time still needs work. Been here over 2 hours and 3 people who came after I was here were seen 1st. One didnt even look sick.

I got into the ER with a big boil that it was infected a nurse in ER the best one took a very good care of me her name was Rachel's thank you so much... it was amazing me and my mom just loved her and we are nurses in Fort Defiance... everyone in this hospital had give me very good attentions and great treatment i will rate them a 10 of 10 thank you. And in the floor i had the best nurses ever one name Tamika and another one name Gina God bless this womans.... I just talked to the jerk they have on staff at the pharmacy over the weekend. I suppose sketchy people call this place and this particular employee's aptitude isn't high, because he refused to speak to me and hung up. Unprofessionalism meets incompetence. If I owned this business, I would review this man's phone etiquette and understanding of pharmacy policy.

My wife had to go there at 2:00 am in the morning from the hotel while visiting Gallup. The staff was very good to us. We had no problems.

This IHS needs better doctors. My experience was absolutely horrible and a waste of time coming here. The reception/pharmacists were nice though. Just hated the doctor.

appointment was at 9am....still here at 11am. this is so frustrating, i had to ask why its taking so long. doctor was called up for surgery, ok .. so where are the rest of the doctors. i should not have to wait this long if i was almost done.

Our 16 year old had to be brought to the ER here. Dr. Garcia and the nurses and ER folks took great care of him. For just travelers passing through on our way back home to Texas, the Gallup Indian Med center treated us in a professional and caring manner. Thanks for getting our kid back to health and on the road the same day so we could make it home with no other problems!

Was just there last night after waking up in my hotel with chest pain and difficulty breathing. My experience was exceptional. They took very good care of me and wasted no time in quickly providing the help and care I needed.

THIS HOSPITAL NEEDS TO UPGRADE ITS STAFF... I WAS NOT SATISFIED WITH THEM. THERE IS ALWAYS A LONG WAIT BEFORE YOU SEEN.. I UNDERSTAND NOW THERE ARE SOME CONTRACT DOCTORS AND NURSES FROM OUT OF STATE IN THIS FACILITY.
