My wife accepted your services upon hospital release last month and recieved a nurse that was not only disatisfied with the amount of medications my wife was taking but wanted me to manage them entirely. She also strongly recommended marriage counselling and gave us a contact number. Her job was to draw blood and change the dressing on a pick line. I did not mind but my wife did and they started a bad report. My wife was cancelled this morning and notified by your supervisor. I returned the call and spoke with Mille that stated she and the Mary Ann would be here one last time this afternoon to draw blood and change the pick dressing. Mondays is the day this patient needed the nurse for this, not any other time. I called your office again and spoke with Marjorie with negative results and left a message with Sylvia the administrator that never bothered to return my call.Today is monday and instead of coming here for the service, or sending another nurse, they went to the primary care doctor and CYA themselves on this. It is not that the patient was cancelled from service. IT IS THE ATTACK WAY IT WAS DONE! I feel that it was because of bad voicemail that the patient left the nurse. So the patient has a bad attitude and no supervisor bothered to call her and ask why! Still ill, isn't she? Now the pharmacists is going to have to use last weeks lab results for required TPN this week because no blood draw. I took her to Tri-Core myself late this afternoon but they did not have the doctors orders, orders were with you, so no blood there either. Your supervisor stated that this decision was made last tuesday, yet nobody informed us. RECOMMENDATION: Inform the patient promptly of no service so that other medical arrangements can be made by the patient or loved ones, not days later until the day of service promised. Do not say a service will be done if it is not going to be as people depend on them. Lastly, should be first- Do No Harm! Thank you and goodbye.
