Wait time to see a triage nurse was over 2 hours which is dangerous. They just don’t care. Do not go there. They are rude. Everyone from the reception area to the doctor are disconnected and rude. The temperature is also inhumanely freezing in there. All you hear everyone talking about is what time their break is or how they can’t wait for their shift to end. The employees seem miserable and pass it onto the patients who are innocent.

Absolutely amazing! I love the staff from beginning to end they took very good care of me. Specially María Rosa and Ana Barrera. They were true angels this hospital I recommend 100% and of course Dr Asulin the best!!!

UPDATE: Had the unfortunate experience of having to visit this place again. They have now merged the ER and the outpatient apparently. Have been here for 4 hours for allergies. If this hospital spent more on patient care and less on the appearance of their main entrance area, they wouldn't be STILL such a horrible hospital. Not to mention most of the waiting time was for the results of a strep test. DONT COME HERE!! Waited over 20 mins to get called in from the waiting area and we were the only ones there. Then waited two hours for results for a urine testtest. Then waited almost another half hour to get discharged. Its very early mor ing in a Wednesday. There was one other patient in the whole E.R. besides us today. Doc was great. Nurse was a little unfriendly. We were at Hackensack hospital a week ago for something unrelated and was in and out in 40 mins and there were a LOT of people there. This place needs improvement. All you do here is sit and wait.

This hospital is fantastic. My family and I had an overall great experience here. Very happy with the nurses, OR staff and of course the Doctors. I felt cared for and important. Much thanks!!! Can't wait to see what it will look like after all the renovations. I love small community hospitals.

I’m in labor and delivery dept. I was really cooperative throughout everything until they decided to give an IV. But, they placed a needle on me 3 times and on the same hand. The third one was really really painful that I shouted a lot of times but the nurse still refused to take it out. I had a lot of blood tests & IV’s before but it didn't hurt as much as they did it Now, they’ve been so petty and ganged up against me. I was still polite and respectful even tho I was mad as hell. I appreciate the concern but they should be more considerate especially to a woman who is in pain and having contractions!!

I delivered my 1st and 2nd baby here (7 year difference)The hospital has gone through many changes. Positives: I met my entire surgical team before the surgery and they were great! They answered all my questions and concerns and made me and my partner feel extremely at ease. Staff was really friendly. Help was available at all times. They helped me with breast feeding which I greatly appreciate because my 1st born wasn't having it and it's probably the best thing for a newborn. This time around they supplied me with all the breastfeeding supplies (Medela pump, breast pads and breastfeeding information) They helped me with teaching the baby how to latch and by the 2nd day my baby was a pro. This time around I also met all of my baby's doctor's. They knew everything about her, no charts or notes needed which made me feel like she had everyone's undivided attention. This time they also made sure I was doing my exercises to help me recover, last time they just told me what I had to do which was fine but I don't think I did any of them and I ended up suffering. Even though this is my 2nd c-section and healing is gonna take twice as long I feel like the exercises that they enforced have helped me a whole lot! Some other things I noticed was that this time around they were so much more "giving". Free hospital WiFi, phone calls, cable TV, and snacks for my partner. Made me feel like I was at home. Negatives: although I have ZERO complaints about the maternity wing and their staff I find that security now in days is vital necessity ANYWHERE! Especially in a hospital! To me, this is the ONLY thing that holds them back from being a 5 star hospital. Multiple people came to visit me and most of them said that they just walked in. The few people that actually checked in had trouble scanning their passes and security told them to call me so I can have a nurse open the door -_- All in all, besides the security I absolutely loved my stay this time around. The staff was amazing and they worked great with each other, no patient information was lost in between shifts. I felt like they really went out of their way to make me feel like my newborn daughter and I were their only patients.

Service there was fine. It was after the math these idiots never sent me a bill. They gave it directly to a collection's agency which wrecked my credit. I have never missed a payment in my life. These people don't even deserve the basic jobs they do have.

Cut my finger a year ago and had to go to ER to get 2 stiches. I was in and out of the ER in 30 mins. Physician assistant was nice. I submitted my insurance information and a year later I received a bill from the hospital for over $4,000! Have been trying to resolve this but nobody can put us in touch with anyone who can do anything at the hospital. Customer service is horrible!!! We are making sure to document all of this to take to both BBB and Attorney General. This is fraudulent to say the least.

The worst hospital ever in Nj the nurses very sneaky Lair , the doctor in ER old can't walk not professional , they Don't have equipment in ER and attitude dirty smells , the CNA Nurses They very Rude I called the police to nurses because they stopped the treatment on my husband and I told them I want to discharge him call ambulances to leave the hospital the Nurses said ok you have to sign papers to discharge she said the ambulance take one hour I stayed 5 hours waiting for the ambulance she Was Lying she finished her shift and left , and when I called the police to them in 7 minutes the ambulance was outside horrible I have midnight with them

I went in to the er for a uti which was pretty extreme, I was vomiting and had major cramping in my upper abdomen, I was in the er for 8 hours. I only seen the doctor once the whole time. Even though I seen her enter the rooms adjacent to mine multiple times. At first they told me nothing was wrong, so they did some scans of my stomach. They found nothing. After me telling them it can’t be nothing, they said it was a uti. They wrote me prescription.. for the wrong person. It has some else’s information on it. The only reason I’m give this place two stars is because the nurse that took care of me was the most humble, kind, and caring nurse I have ever seen. As for the doctor, she was either incompetent or lazy.. the “doctor” was Dr.Capo.

يا جماعة اللى هايروح يولد فى نيوجيرسى أنا بأرشح له د. محمد النقيب ..... ناس أصحابى جربوه وكانت تجاربهم ممتازة معاه. وحاليا لا أرشح د. تشافيز ولا مستشفى هدسون لأى حد ولكذا سبب: أولهم: أن مستوى د. تشافيز طبيا متوسط أو أقل ولا يجيد التعامل مع اى نوع من المضاعفات حتى ولو كانت بسيطة جدا وأعرف شخصيا كذا حد حصل له مشاكل بعد الولادة معاه..... من الآخر هو عاوز الولادة تكون سهلة ومفيهاش فيها اى مشاكل ولا حتى بعدها يكون فيه اى مشاكل، والمستشفى مستواها متوسط (3 نجوم) بالكتير وفيه بعض الممرضات فيها تعاملهم مش لطيف. ثانيا: إصراره د. تشافيز على إعطاء حقنة بيتاميثازون لإكتمال نضح رئة الجنين ب 200 دولار فى عيادته لمعظم الناس حتى لو مش محتاجينها أو واخدينها قبل كده، وكذلك إعادة بعض التحاليل فى عيادته حتى لو فيه ناس عملتها قبل كده. ثالثا: كان باعت للناس قبل ما تسافر وأنا واحد منهم ال package المفصل لأتعابه وأتعاب المستشفى ولما سافرنا ودفعنا المبالغ المتفق عليها بالكامل وأخدنا ال zero bill منه ومن المستشفى وسافرنا .... فوجئنا بعد شهرين بوصول فواتير أخرى للناس بمبالغ تتراوح من 800-900 دولار قيمة أتعاب دكتور الأطفال اللى حضر الولادة بالرغم انه كان مشمول فى مبلغ المستشفى وهو لم يتدخل مع المستشفى لإلغاء هذه المبالغ ولم يفى بإلتزامه بأسعار ال package المرسل إلينا منه قبل سفرنا مما يجعل د. تشافيز ومستشفى هدسون شركاء فى النصب على الناس ولا ينصح بهم تماما لأى حد هايسافر نيوجيرسى وخاصة مع وجود بدائل وأسعار أفضل فى ولايات أخرى وحتى فى نفس الولاية. I am sorry to say that some of this doctor and nurses have no respect for patients my girl is there for seizures and so for some of this nurses have been rude to her if something happens to her I will sue the hospital for mail practice on her behalf cause she has a disability so I pray to God that nothing happens to her

Horrible hospital!!!! Don’t go!!!!!! The nurses were nice but you can tell that they are afraid to say anything because of the drs. The dr that treated my son was full of himself, just liked to hear himself talk. The dr was disrespectful and rude. You couldn’t question what he said otherwise he would snap! And to top it off, he was very touchy touchy, which made myself and my cousin extremely uncomfortable.

I can said any experience is the same but for me it doesn't work. Dr Sarenac Alexander the Dr there doesn't do anything for me just call me honey we just can treat your symptom. He sound like she was in her own practice. I Going to give you pain medication. No test or anything...What I know I pay for my insurace and get there to have some help we are not honey to anybody...that's umprofecional when you used to denied patient help. Never again.

Meadowlands Hospital Medical Center is the worst hospital ever, i was there 5 days ago with my little baby , he is 19 months old . he was suffering a serious vomiting , we've been transferred to this hospital because the doctor said that we have to . we sign in at 5:30 PM and we left at 11:00 PM , And a single Doctor have checked my son , just three nurses did the same check out exactly as if they were training (checked his ears, Mouth, Stomach, And his heart pulse) then they disappears . until i lost my patience and called them , they came and gave him a pill in his mouth and that's it nothing else . just a note : when we first sign in the nurse said that the doctor will come shortly , and we left the hospital and he never shows up .

After years of medorcrity it seems like they are moving in the right direction . My mother in law was taken there. The EMT personel were outstanding. The emergency room doctors and staff were outstanding as well. She has been in ICU and all I have to say is the people there are the best I have seen. I hope that they continue to strive and achieve excellence

There are long waits in the emergency room, they will administer you as soon as possible if it’s a serious condition. Doctors take a while to come to visit their patients administered in the hospital. The hospital is very nice inside and I appreciate it as a hospital

I went there for a bad knee - couldn't walk. I had been camping and had to crawl through the woods for about a quarter mile or more. Had scabies, and ticks ALL OVER me. This totally freaked them out when I told them after my self sponge bath that I'd put all the live ticks in the sink next to my bed. They freaked! Needed to fumigate the room! But they gave me a good shower, and salves for both the ticks and the Scabies. I was an infectious mess, but they handled it well, and politely, and really made sure I was free of anything before I left. Also gave me a walker to use because walking was impossible without it. They were the best!

I had an orthopedic surgery at Hudson Regional. Everything went well. The physicians and nurses did excellent jobs in treating me. I highly recommend this hospital for any orthopedic surgeries.

I was admitted for my surgery on Feb 25th, 2019 and discharged Wednesday the 27th. If I could give this hospital less than 1 star I would. I stayed on 3 West I believe and from start to finish my experience was horrible. From the anesthesiologist not wearing gloves, not properly doing my i.v's and having them both rip out my arm and hand, in which I was still suppose to be receiving fluids for dehydration and they never hooked me back up, the nurses and staff ignoring my call button, leaving me on the toilet, not being seen by a Dr. the entire time I stayed, not having my linens changed or my hospital gown changed my entire stay, having to repeatedly beg for pain meds because by the time they decided to answer my meds would be wearing off, staff was not knowledgeable about anything, they did not tell you who they were upon entering your room. I informed them my hospital phone was not working and they repeatedly told me a tech was coming to fix it in which noone ever came to look at it let alone fix it. I was never asked how I felt or what my pain levels were yet the nurses repeatedly documented what my pain level was. And the list goes on. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone based on my experience. I'm 36 years old and have been to many hospitals in my life this is definitely the worst experience I have ever had in a hospital. I don't know how they are even able to operate this way!!

Meadowlands Hospital has changed a lot. I won't ever go there again. Dr. Morales was very clueless & wanted to inject my lower back without knowing what was wrong with me & then was upset because I asked for an x-ray. I had no choice, but to walk out. Bad hospital, staff doesn't know anything & the ER room was dirty. Blood stains on the floor, dirty used band-aids & gauze on the floor.

Very bad service and the stuff are very rude as my wife delivered a baby in December 2018 but unfortunately we faced a very bad experience with them as they are not honest at all and we discovered after two month from gave us all the invoices that shown we paid all the expenses that there is a hidden expenses no one never told us with a second part for the pediatric that never anyone told us about that it’s totally fraud so I don’t recommend anyone to go there at all .

Meadowlands Hospital and its services have been, for my family, okay. It is very convenient to my home. But that convenience comes at a steep price. I give Meadowlands Hospital one star because of their billing practices, which are outrageous. I would recommend that anyone who wants to avoid a lengthy financial fight steer clear of Meadowlands Hospital. I recommend that anyone thinking of going to this hospital Google the following FACTS: 1) Meadowlands Hospital is the most expensive hospital in the country. 2) Meadowlands Hospital has a consistent policy of balance billing patients, which is illegal in New Jersey. 3) Many insurance companies refuse to deal with Meadowlands Hospital because of its shady billing practices. Here is Meadowlands Hospital's basic scheme: First, they know exactly who you are insured with. Anyone who's ever been to any hospital knows that's the first thing the hospital wants to know. Second, the bait-and-switch. Knowing full well who your insurer is, Meadowlands Hospital will suddenly have you seen by out-of-network doctors with all tests performed at their in-house - but conveniently out-of-network - labs and radiology. Next thing you know, you have a huge bill going directly to YOU. In an area such as Hudson County where there are dozens of hospitals a short drive from Meadowlands Hospital, why bother going there? My advice: don't.

Went in for a miscarriage after having 4 previously. Was told to go to the emergency room from urgent care. The dr there told me since I had a positive pregnancy test he was discharging me and putting me on progesterone. Never even touched me, no blood work no exam he just said that my hormones were off and discharged me after I sat in the room waiting for an hour. He told me I couldn’t be pregnant since I had a cycle 3 weeks prior and it wasn’t enough time 3 weeks after to get pregnant as if people don’t still have cycles while pregnant. I have two children so going to an emergency room is not high on my list of places to go, I expected if not a vaginal exam then at least an ultrasound, Ive had multiple miscarriages so it kind of goes without saying that I probably know the symptoms when I see them. One of the nurses was very pleasant the rest of the staff need customer service training and so does the doctor. The doctor actually needs to be decertified (Dr. Thillainathan)

What a complete waste of time. I went to the emergency room because I was having trouble breathing. My doctor recently passed away so I called my insurance and they told me to go to this ER. They made me pee in a cup and get an X-ray. And then I sat there for 3 hours before I went to ask what was going on. They had forgotten about me. They came to give me a shot. I've been dealing with these issues my entire life and know what medications my body responds to. I told them that I wasn't familiar with what they were trying to give me and would prefer if they asked the doctor to please give me what I've always gotten. He simply said no and told me my only choice was what he was offering. (By the way, they have the medication I asked for. I called ahead of time to confirm.) To keep the story short, I waited about another hour and they came with a prescription for allergy medication. I already have that prescribed! I went for something that will help me now, like I don't know, an inhaler! He got mad that I asked for medication that I knew worked for me and told me to go to my doctor if I didn't like the way he did things. I repeated that my doctor is dead and only came here because I had no choice. He rolled his eyes and discharged me. Thank you Dr. L. Carter for your incredible professionalism. Now I have to go to another ER to get the help I waited almost 5 hours for.

You guys should train people on customer service, she was in a rush and refuses to listen to my concern, just want to go on and on without listening to the issue at all. First and foremost I’d like to say that I am not a hospital employee, I DO NOT represent the owner or the VP or anyone else. I can however write my own review and let others make their own decisions about this hospital. I see a lot of changes that have already been made. Hudson Regional Hospital has courteous service, very limited wait time in the Emergency Department. The hospital is very clean. My mom had to have a shoulder surgery at the hospital and she and my entire family are very very pleased with the stay and the physician, who is the chief of or orthopedic I believe Dr Imran Ashraf. The nurses are extremely friendly, the COO of the hospital comes to check on you post op. (Never has that been done in any other hospital). I highly recommend Hudson Regional Hospital.

Just had my first daughter and can't recommend a better hospital. It's always quiet, no one is frantically running around, and the nurses treat you like if you were a relative. They come in make sure you're fine and if you need some space they will kindly give you more space while still doing their job of being attentive to your situation. Helped us with some information as some of the nurses are also mother's always great to have some helpful advice. Dr. Chavez was our doctor to help with the birth; unfortunately he couldn't make it in time but the other doctor Dr. Witter helped my wife give birth and just both amazing doctor's helped us to stay confident and comfortable throughout the whole experience. Because it's a small hospital there's always parking and really safe from unwanted visitors. Security was also helpful. 10/10 would come back.

Horrible rude nurses in ER, horrible customer service and horrible hospital billing dept that never has any answers, never calls back or emails back. Sets appts over the phone to "talk about additional charges that were blindly added to our bill without an explanation or detailed bill" and doesn't make the call at the time we set, doesn't answer their phone, or email. Very unhappy about this hospital. It wasn't our choice to go here either. An accident happened and we were brought there in an ambulance. People BEWARE if you don't want to be treated very poorly and then never get help afterwards, STAY AWAY from this hospital!!

the hospital is not hygienic - post delivery cleaning did not get all blood off the floor! and was so cold in there when I delivered my baby in the month of November(heat wasn't working efficiently). I should have researched better. Also, they are ridiculous when it comes to billing- I was sent a bill 22 months after Delivery which in my opinion makes absolutely no sense.

I had an orthopedic surgery at Hudson Regional. Everything went well. The physicians and nurses did excellent jobs in treating me. I highly recommend this hospital for any orthopedic surgeries.

Horrible, inattentive staff. My family member had a total hip replacement and received the worst care here. From ignoring call bells to not explaining medications, the nurses were useless. After such a big operation, he had a pump to administer his own pain medication. No one ever explained the use of this machine nor did they provide a translator to ensure proper care was provided. Furthermore, I was told the call bell was being ignored. When I visited, I pushed the call bell myself, saw the blinking light outside the room and until I inquired if the bell was broken, the nurses sat at the station (within clear view of the flashing light). Steer clear of this hospital if you want actual treatment.

Don't go here! I went for an emergency visit. They did not conduct any blood tests, literally nothing and discharged me in 20 minutes. I am paying $3000 for nothing and the patient care sent me a bogus investigation report after I requested an investigation into why there was no test or medical examination conducted before my discharge. If you visit, be sure to leave with a huge bill and inadequate medical care. I'd not recommend.

The operatiting staff was great, but the nurses after the Surgery, were the worst ever, I asked for help to get up after Lumbar fusion and they told me I had to do it myself, I could not pee and ask them to help me and it took the whole afternoon to get me a catheter, and after many failed attemps the first nurse had to call a 2nd one to do it, I was there 3 days never got cleaned up neither change my gown, when I called to get pain med, they would not come r away, and when they showed up they were nasty, and Im talking about 3 nurses, to the point that my husband stayed at nite w me, after they told him he was not allow, I would never go back to this Hospital.

Im so mad. This hospital is the worst. I bright ny father here to ha e a hip replacement. We were told that yhe hospital was great and we came all the way from New York. Surgery was good. However, the recovery floor was the worst. His room was not cleaned in 2 days, they left him with the same gown on that he had on since surgery today makes it 3 days that he had the same clothes on. Every time you ask for assistance someone tells you that they paged the nurse. I'm so disappointed. I really can't wait for my father to be out of there no one needs to be aggregated like this after surgery.

No doctor showed up till the end of the next day! When finally appeared doctor agreed that matter needed immediate attention, but was surprised that my relative is still kept in a hospital. Nurses had to be called by me every time when IV change was needed or pain got worse and we had to wait for them to show up for half an hour. The place is old and severely outdated. But their pricing is completely separate issue. In a nutshell, take an average price per night in the area and multiply it by 5, now you get what they want to charge you for overly unprofessional service and extremely outdated facilities. Their whole process is rigged to do everything as slow as possible, to keep you inside as long as they can, therefore making already insane bill even higher. Avoid this dumpster at all costs!

The doctors are no doubt really good! the billing department however is terrible! I came in last year a day after a minor car accident, and stupid me since I was having some aching pain on my body, I came to the ER thinking it was something serious. Of course, I'm registering and i don't know how the hospital did not have my previous records and my insurance. then the front desk lady gave me the bullcrap of supposedly my insurance wouldn't cover the visit due to it being based off an accident, when i told her that i don't own a CAR therefore to use my medical insurance, she kept coming with the story of my insurance is going to deny the claim...OK. one year later, I geta huge BILL when the doctor already sent me a separate bill which i paid of course. but for me to stay in there for literally 15 mins and get charged almost $2,500 is CRAZY. the billing department and front staff needs to clarify this whole thing...seriously.

Can't do one thing correctly!!! I made a MRI appointment and went there on time. Registration told me I didn't have an appointment. Then they said "oh, your appointment is tomorrow." I knew I didn't schedule it the next day because they called prior to my visit to confirm my appointment. I told them they made a mistake then they said you can't do it anyway because the prescription doesn't have the doctor's license #. when I went back to my car I opened the prescription and saw the license # right above the doctor's name! Thanks for stopping me at registration! This place is absolutely horrible. Employees are trying very hard not to work or do things wrong. Glad I didn't go any further and I'll NEVER waist any of my time with them!!!

I have a recurring issue with my leg that's been a problem since a series of botched surgeries several years ago (at another hospital). I went to the ER here about two months ago when my leg was re-injured; to be honest, I was pleasantly surprised with the care and attention I received. The Doctor (Dr. Carter...who I can't say enough good things about) saw me quickly, showed genuine concern, was super knowledgeable, and was incredibly thorough making sure I didn't have another clot (I had DVT, and whenever it hurts I definitely get extra nervous). I was in ultrasound within about ten minutes, and within an hour and a half I was leaving with care instructions and prescriptions in hand. As someone who has suffered with a chronic issue, I can tell you that an hour and a half is IMPOSSIBLE in Hudson County. That alone made it worth it! On top of that, all of the staff was super-attentive and actually spoke to me like a person...it was as good of an experience as you could possibly have when you're feeling terrible and in serious pain. I'm happy that this hospital seems to be improving every day. It's very convenient to have a good community hospital that I can actually rely on for care instead of having to travel out of my area. I had come here a few times over the years and wasn't 100% pleased with the experience. However, with all the changes I see, between construction, community outreach, and just the general business around the place, it seems like the new owners are really committed to making visible change. Secaucus needs that. In short, the next time I have an emergency, I will be back. Just hopefully not too soon... lol

Worst hospital I have even been to. (Most dangerous part: NO ONE TOOK MY MEDICAL HISTORY OR ASKED IF I WAS ALLERGIC TO ANY MEDICATIONS BUT THE DR STILL PRESCRIBED MEDICATIONS WITHOUT DISCUSSING W ME). Dr. Omoh was the only ER Dr there, no bedside manor, yelling at another patient to get up and walk to get an xray on his foot (possible broken foot) then yelled at him "just get up" and stormed off on him when he asked for a wheelchair. For my personal experience, he raised his voice at me for "asking too many questions... the ER is too busy to do an MRI" after the xray and ultrasound came back negative. My pain got worse all the 6 hours I was there waiting (mind u it was slow and no one even waiting in the waiting room). I had all the symptoms but 1 that were on the discharge instructions to get immediate attention for. And when i questioned him about why he gave prescriptions without taking a history he said no one put any info in.... what???? Doctors r ALWAYS supposed to verify allergies to medication or lack of at the very least.

Had a spinal fusion done their last Wednesday, all went very well but still in lots of pain, the nurse that was with me at night David was brilliant, the next day Susan and Cheilline where brillant, as well as the nurse from Jamaica Jilliane was outstanding as well, she took out my drain and was on top of things at all times, liked all the staff their they are very kind, I was very embarrassed about 2 situations 1 the not knowing how to use the pump, and coming home with no medication this was due to my pharmacy CVS Edgewater saying I had my prescription for month got already, but it doesn’t include pain management, so can home in agony with no medication, I have a few pain killers luckily enough from Canada where I use to live, but not sure when or how much to take for the pain I’m in, and have been told to contact my surgeon on Monday, so all have been very helpful in Hudson Regional Hospital, I would recommend this hospital, but if your new to America I would have things explained to me better as I really don’t know how the health system works here, etc

My experience at Hudson Regional Hospital was excellent from the moment I walked through the doors. The staff was courteous and friendly. The nursing staff was considerate, attentive and professional. The anesthesiologist took time to explain everything he was doing. My physician, Dr. Daniel Popowitz was excellent. He is extremely knowledgeable and reassuring. The recovery staff was attentive and kind. All in all I couldn't have asked for a better same day surgical experience. I have mentioned to everyone who asked where I had the procedure that I would recommend this hospital for their caring and friendly attitude. The atmosphere helped to ease the nervousness that is present went having surgery.

First I would like to give kudos to the receptionist. She was very sweet and helpful. The only good thing about the emergency room was the receptionist. Other than that it was horrible. A man was admitted for alcohol and drug withdrawal. He was unattended after initial screening. The man ripped his IV out of his arm and blood went flying all over the floor. The man got up about a dozen times and went into other patient rooms where he vomited and pee'd. He also vomited in the emergency room restroom. The nurses saw him a few times and yelled "Go back to your room!" One nurse even yelled, " I don't have time to deal with this!" Really? What is your purpose as a nurse at this point???? After security was called twice, they finally restrained the man, and after a very short time, the man broke loose. All while this was happening the man was requesting water and milk to hydrate himself. The nurses ignored his request. I also requested water while I waited 5 hours for the doctor, and the nurse ignored my request as well. Another major concern is that the nurses AND doctor were yelling out every patients information. 5 patients were in the ER at the time that I could tell. When I was put in my "room" after the initial doc visit, the doc walked away yelling to the nurses the reason why I was at the ER. Very personal reason btw. I knew the reason that every patient that was admitted after me was in the ER. Doctor/ patient confidentiality? Anyway, I would NEVER recommend or go back to this hospital!!! Unsanitary. Rude. Unfriendly environment.

First off, the hospital has been remodeled ( came to this hospital a few years ago and thought i would never come back. It was a big sh*# hole back in the day) but i must say big 360. Secondly, the wait time was under 5 min to be seen which was very fast. The staff was very nice and professional. My son was taken in by Meadowlands EMS which I didnt know they had their own EMS divison. ( EMTs were very professional and took great care of my 1 yr old son ) Once at the hospital, the nursing staff and doctors were very helpfull and helped my son who had a very high fever and was seizuring. He was admitted and was out in 2 days. From the time i called 911 until he was discharged, the staff was great. I left wondering how can a hospital change the way it did? Was it just the crew that was on that day ? Well, i was so impressed that i did some searching online and found out that the hospital was sold to new owners that have placed alot of money and time to improve the standard of care at the hospital. They hired many new employess from big name hospitals ( example Hackensack, Englwood, Holyname and JCMC ) and started a new EMS divison with great experienced EMTs and managers to run the organization. Over all, i was very impressed and recommend this hospital to any one looking for an ER visit or just a regular doctor check up.

Hospital is really bad. First of all the wait is so long. I have been here for 4 hours just to get an x-ray. Second, i went to the bathroom to wash my hands and the water was yellow. However, the staff was really nice and calm to me, but that ain't going to make up for the two things.

I brought my nephew here a few nights ago for an ear infection. The nurses were friendly and tentative. The lady in ER registration seemed like she was mad about something, but was nice to us. There was a very disgruntled man in the ER waiting room making demands and getting upset making everyone uncomfortable. The security overnight was very quick to react and resolve the matter. I am giving 5 stars because of how the security diffused the situation and the way the nurses treated us thanks!!

The only thing good about this place is that in the ER they take you fast into triage. However, I feel like nurses and doctors at this hospital really don't give two cares in the world as to how their patient is being treated or anything. Doctors come talk to you for two seconds and don't tell you necessarily what is going on, and nurses don't care to communicate messages to doctors upon the patients' request, such as changing pain medication because the current one isn't effective at all. This hospital is the worst one I have ever been to and the most unprofessional one I have ever been to. Never will I come to this hospital again. If you have any choice go else where (not palisades either though) This place is an absolute JOKE. I had to make a trip to the emergency room for sudden fainting and high fever. I spent hours in this place with no one paying attention to me, then one quick test and the doctor comes back an hour later to tell me I "PROBABLY have a virus" when I received the bill, over $3,000 dollars for telling me I *probably* have a virus. Real professionalism. - About a year later I was in a car accident, the ambulance came, simply touched the back of my head for 10 seconds, told me I was fine, then I get sent a 400 dollar bill. Due to some issues with insurance I got stuck with the bill, - these people work with the most ruthless & evil of all debt collectors, Pressler & Pressler. I am glad I have been able to keep my friends & family from going to this joke of a hospital & I suggest you do the same.

I had TLIF back surgery on 7/24/19 and have not one bad thing to say. Clean private rooms, free tv and the nicest staff a person who is convalescing can have. The nursing staff on the 3rd floor DeMarie, Mary, Karen, Faith, Samera and Brittany were phenomenal as were the NA's. Sorry I can't remember all of their names but they made me feel at home. I was in room 328. Even the people bringing the food trays were great. I would come back here in a HEARTBEAT! I am a LPN and can relate to the stress of patients especially when they are in pain or believe the staff is there for their every beck and call. Each RN and/or NA answered the call bell in a timely fashion and even the cleaning staff all came with a smile on their faces which made every day there a good one. Thank you Hudson Regional for making a hard surgery a better experience. 10 stars if I could give it!

It's sad to say that there are trained professionals at this hospital that are not sensitive to the patient's needs. After having major surgery, the least the staff can do is accommodate the patient and go out of their way to make them feel that someone is looking out for them. My wife called me twice hysterically crying that the nurses were ignoring her. She asked for something as simple as Jello and they take an eternity to meet that simple need. When I saw the reviews for this facility I thought surely it was a mistake. But now I can see why it's so poorly rated. When I called the floor to speak to a supervisor there was no one but someone on staff who kept saying "Aha!" whenever I finished my sentences . Not professional at all. I'm usually not a complainer but sometimes things get out of hand and need to be dealt with in an unpleasant manner. This was not an enjoyable stay for my wife.

Beware of fraud and extortion. Did MRA back in 2011, got a bill for $5000. Insurance paid $800 based on their agreement, I paid my remaining 20%. I kept receiving bills every once so often with remaining from $5000 balance. I responded to first several letters and thought it was over, but the bills kept on popping up occasionally. I started ignoring them as there was no use to respond. Today, almost 3 years after receiving a service, I got a letter from their attorney with collection claim. What a scam bags and liars. Time for class action.

I have been calling this hospital to find out if they accept my insurance since yesterday and all I get is "I am not sure, let me put you through this department."How hard is it to get such an answer for this simple question? If a person works in the emergency department of a hospital, should't they know which insurance the hospital accepts? I even left a message with the HR and no body has gotten back to me. I called HR again this morning and still nothing. My rating for this hospital is actually a ZERO too bad there is no option for that on the ratings' scale. I went on the hospital's website and I saw a place where the hospital is up for sale. How true is that? This used to be a very good hospital until it exchanged hands where the bottom line was put at the forefront and human life at the back burner. It is really a shame and may God Almighty helps us all. You know I will be sharing this with friends on face book.

@Concerned Citizen of Secaucus I disagree with your comment completely. You sound like you posted your angry comment out of simple revenge. I actually work here for a long time and I can see the changes (and difference) that the new ownership brings to this hospital and Secaucus community overall. They care about their staff and patients. They finally brought back the direct deposits and made our lives so much easier. They're getting in network with lots of insurance companies. They're reaching out to the community and building back the bridges that were burned previously. There are many things that they're doing to make this hospital a better place for patients and staff members. So please don't give this place a one star, that is not right. By hurting this hospital, you are hurting us, the employees, as well.

Terrible customer service, they have a very rude ER staff. If you have the option to go to any other hospital, do so. You will waste your time and will barely get treated.

Worst service ever, I ended up with a bill of $20000 for test and treatment which was not required. Basically, i was fed 4 tylenols a day each was $5000.

Worst hospital iv ever been to . Went there 3 times in 4 days for a smashed finger. Each doctor gave a different prognosis. No help what's so ever. The woman dr. Was wearing flip flops as she examined us. Never seen anything like it.Had to give one star cause zero stars wasn't a option. Do NOT go here even if near death....

They have great bedside manner they doctors and nurses are really sweet the only downside was the wait for a room as I was being admitted they made me feel comfortable even if I was waiting in my Bed in the middle of the hallway!

This hospital is worst! I went there for an ER visit due to allergy response, and got iv injection of benadryl, steriods and epinephrine, and a series of wrong things happened through the process of billing. First of all when we were at the ER reception the lady at the front desk did not tell us at all that my insurance is not accepted at the hospital. This would have been considered a malpractice of the hospital staff anywhere else and patients would not be responsible for not being aware of this. But not in this hospital. Instead, I got a claim explanation from my insurance company indicating that the entire cost, over $4200 is completely not covered. For a long time after I received this I've been calling back and forth between the hospital and my insurance trying to figure out. It turns out that the main item being charged which is over $3000 is the "set-up" fee for ER visit set by the doctors in the hospital. OK, fine, although i've never heard of such a high price for simply stepping into the ER room. Then I figured my insurance does have out-of-network ER visit benefit, which is a huge relief. But about a month later i received a bill printed on really crappy paper with hand-highlighted total amount. First of all, no serious hospital would ever send a crappy paper for formal bill except this one. Second and worse, they duplicated every single service i used during the ER visit but was unable to figure out it was a dup but simply added up the amount, so my bill is now almost $8500! SERIOUSLY? Do they not know elementary school arithmetic or they are that dumb not able to figure out what items are the same and what are different? PLUS, I just got updates from my insurance company recently that my case is still under review, then who gave them the right to send me a final (crappy-made) bill before my insurance company send me an updated claim explanation? And of course whenever i called through this long process of troubles i couldn't find anyone in the hospital that is in charge. The so called customer satisfaction line is never being answered for over a week. This is the most ridiculous hospital I've ever experienced and i'm very disappointed as their valued patient. I would have given a minus 100 stars if i was able to do it.

No one picks up the phone at this hospital. They do not follow NJ state laws regarding charity care, and perform unnecessary expensive tests and then bill/sue for it.

From the day when I first came to Doctor Yitzhack Asulin's office for a second opinion about my surgery, I was so impressed with the amazing expertise, professionalism and care of doctor Asulin, his nurses and admin staff. I knew that day that I was in the best hands ever for a very complicated surgery that was to be performed using the minimally invasive technology, da vinci robot, which allows for incredible precision during surgery and speedy recovery. What also impressed me is that Doctor Asulin really takes time to do all the necessary diagnostic tests, so everything can be addressed in one surgical procedure vs. multiple. The surgery was performed at the Hudson Regional Hospital. The admission process was flawless, Doctor Asulin, another surgeon, his assistant, whose name I can't recall unfortunately, the anesthesiologist, the OR nurses, all worked like a team, once again making me feel at ease and confident that everything was going to go well. My only worry was about the robot - that it does not run out of power :))) just kidding. I spend the night at the hospital and was given a private room with the beautiful view of the river and the City's skyline; my husband was allowed to stay with me and the nurses taking care of me after the surgery were super-competent and caring. One nurse I want to recognize especially is Chelline Lichtenberger and, of course, Doctor Yana Golubitskaya, who examined me prior to discharge and was like a breath of fresh air. The words can not describe how grateful I am to Doctor Asulin who is truly the most brilliant doctor and surgeon, his staff, Doctor Yana, nurse Chelline and a great Hudson Regional!

If I could give them a zero I would. I'm currently at the hospital right now with my brother who just got into a car accident. First they wanted to leave him in the hallway. Then they finally put him behind a curtain. & by the way I work for a doctor so I know exactly what I'm talking about. A nurse didn't even come in prior to him seeing the doctor. & when the doctor finally came in an hour and a half later he just asked him what happened, LIGHTLY touched his back and told him that all he was experiencing was back spasm and that he's going to feel worse in about 8 hours, so we'll medicate you. HE SAID AN X-RAY WASNT NECESSARY! That's crazy!!! He said he's been "doing this for 17 years and knows exactly what he's talking about"!!!! That's absurd. I insisted on an X-ray. 15 minutes after speaking to the doctor, the nurse comes in with Valium, ibuprofen, & a shot of morphine!!!! MORPHINE! That's crazy! God forbid my brother was a drug addict. Then anyone come simply come in here and say they were in a car accident & be treated with morphine. I RATHER ALL THE I'S BE DOTTED AND ALL THE T'S BE CROSSED BEFORE MAKING DECISIONS OUT OF "EXPERIENCE"! Horrible.
