I broke my arm yesterday, and the entire staff at spring valley hospital was wonderful! They were very gentle and kind, from the moment the ambulance dropped me off, throughout x-rays, and getting me in my sling and out the door, with a recommendation to an ortho surgeon who was fabulous! I highly recommend spring valley hospital, thanks!

Mavis Fulco

The staffing, cleanliness, and atmosphere rates this high rating. This is an "A Team" hospital. Whoever thought they would have a "pleasant stay" at a hospital. Can't say enough nice thing about hospital.

Dale Sangalang

Attending Physician, Dr. Lu was very knowledgeable and caring. The other staff nurses and technicians were prompt, friendly and professional.

william j lloyd jr

Very friendly staff, especially in preop, OR and recovery room. Preregistrtion was a little bit slow but the person who helped me (Connie) was very good and friendly.

Jim Steffin

Ralph Requa

i want to give this hospital a five star rating but I'm sure that there is something that they can improve. I just don't know what it might be. I was most impressed by the nursing staff. They all seemed very well qualified and efficient. Friendly too! Regards, Ralph Requa

Terrible hospital. Terrible staff. Went in for Hyperglycemia. Sugars were over 500, they gave me fluids & insulin which brought my sugars down to 280 something. The doctor told me that I was "pretty much normal" and that he'll be discharging me, even though I still felt ill. For the 6 hours I was there in the ER I made it very clear to the Nurses that if I was discharged I would only experience the same symptons that brought me there in the first place and just end up back in the hospital. So here I, 12 hours later experiencing the same symptoms, feeling ill. About to check into a hospital just like I said. The staff had a very phony display of empathy. One particular nurse was really rude in a very passive aggressive way and a certain dr "Matthew" wasn't any different. Its ridiculous and the attitudes of some of the staff are similar to lazy entitled teenagers working at a fast food joint. Dont go here.

It all started with Tiffanie at the registration counter. Tiffanie was very warm and welcoming. She assisted me with a pleasant smile and got the whole process done quickly. Then I went back to meet with Rena and she reviewed my medical history and drew my blood. Oncwe again very polite and pleasant and felt very comfortable. Day of the procedure everyone I was in contact with was a total delight. Everyone was very comforting and understanding of concerns of the procedures. If I require another procedure, I would want it to happen at Spring Valley.

Dan Eckersley

Visiting from out of town, friend had a kidney stone and was in a lot of pain. Thank God we chose this hospital! This is NOT the main trauma center so you’ll get in and out faster. Staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Cathy Stocks

My emergency dept experience deserves five stars. I felt - beginning with the the intake desk to the consultations , discussions, and treatment - that I was important, respected, and in excellent hands. The staff listened, diagnosed, and gave clear explanation of their findings/conclusions and advised regarding the next steps for me. OK SVH, keep up the good work!

This is the BEST HOSPITAL IN LAS VEGAS VALLEY !! I SPENT A WHOLE MONTH THERE AFTER A BACK SURGERY. THE BEST NURSES YOU COULD EVER ASK FOR !!!! THANK YOU !! DREMA ANDERSON

Debra Mazza

After being sent from an Urgent Care to the Spring Valley ER we were basically made to wait several hours for a surgeon to review the need for gallbladder removal. A provider even seemed to imply the surgery was not needed though we were specifically told surgery is the only option once you are symptomatic. Once admitted the surgery was performed the next morning but we were told he would be discharged the same day. It was the RN who informed us he would not. He was not seen by the provider after the surgery. The next morning he was told he will be kept one more night, then by 11am was told he was being discharged. Our discharge instructions told us to contact the incorrect doctor for follow up and gave us the incorrect phone number for the correct doctor, even after several calls. They have no idea what they are doing. I assume his gallbladder was removed, but other than that not much positive to say.

I had the best labor nurse ever! Aubree in labor and delivery was AMAZING! She was so attentive and answered all my questions(and this being my first child I had a lot) She made me feel so comfortable and had a great personality. My overall stay was great. All the nurses I encountered were so helpful.

Darnell Coleman

This dr stop my pain meds i am hurt in pain to i am very mad

mot ers

The dr was a loser and not helpful. We asked for ways to keep my husband out of the hospital and the dr didn't have a clue or even try. He basically said it wasn't his problem. We will never return to this hospital as his stay there was a waste of my husbands time and taxpayers money.

Julie Ligotti

I received excellent care here, had a heart attack and went to the ER. Survived this and went on to have a double bypass by surgeon Dr Jahangir. I was treated with respect and my nursing staff was excellent as well. Surgery went textbook and great care was given to me! Thanks also to my staff of nurses, Kevin, Connie, Jackie, Darrell, William, Kris, Sierra are those I can remember at this time! They say it takes a village and it does. Excellent team work, thank you for getting me through this difficult time!

All rooms are private.

My daughter was there in the Emergency Rm. Wasn't sure about insurance, she's an adult but there took care of her. She had a Blood Transfusion plus Emergency Surgery. I'm thankful for the staff and Dr's that took care of her. GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

Louise Biancalana

Horrible experience in the ER... still looking for a lawyer for a good lawsuit for this hospital, needs to make things right. However, the surgery recovery area section was much better, super nurses to take care of you - atmosphere separated after surgery with only curtains - hard to rest and extremely noisily... thank God for TV thou and super nurses in the recovery surgery care section. But ER - they almost killed me - didn't follow orders, over drugged me - I had the male nurse that almost killed me and didn't follow doctors orders for food, no water given to me either..refused without checking doctor's order. Never again! A ER supervisor was the biggest witch there - as I asked her to please open my curtain so I could see - she said NO.. and walked off with an attitude issues.. I had a broken arm dislocated and fracture... they just didn't care..they had more priority with other patients, what a nightmare experience. If you can avoid this place - do so.. If not make the best you can... I had nightmare experiences here in the ER, poor treatment, didn't follow doctors orders and 2 ambulance drives and broken arm and little sympathy for me.. But thank goodness for the nice nurses in recovery after surgery area - but not a very comfortable area either.. I come from Chicago with 93% hospital rating to a 70% rating in Vegas.. ouch ouch! Thank God I walked out alive... I was over drugged in ER.. no food, no water given, didn't follow doctors orders, didn't care to check either. They don't know what they are doing - at least my male nurse from Egypt didn't.. didn't follow my doctors orders either... Horrible Horrible! I can never forget what a nightmare experience it was.. at least the ER area.. my advice - stay away if you can!

Corrine Obrien

I love it here, I have having Sciatic nerve pain and it was a sever episode and they took great care of me until I felt better. They are an amazing group of people and I have been coming to this hospital since I was 15 because I know they are the best, I had my daughter here. 10/10 would recommend for anyone

Fancy Tene

The care was excellent. The nurses and CNA were very catering.. My room was clean and doctor was always on time and communicated with me.

Sylden93

The hospital and staff are fine but the pre-registration process has a lot to be desired. I was called in advance and asked a bunch of questions so I could pre-register before going in for my procedure. Upon arriving I was asked more questions, some of which I had answered previously. If they are going to pre-register you then there should be nothing to do when you arrive except to sign some papers. What a waste of time.

Jonathan Ryan

Treated very professionally. Preop nurses did their jobs and were there to meet needs without smothering you. Perfect amount of nursing care. Same for the postoperative nurses. I like this hospital very much!!!

My Brother in-law is in there still today had total one replacement, he has had excellent care with no complaints. Now My sister was seen yesterday they wanted to admit her she refused, and us now back there and has been admitted. She has no complaints says all have been very nice and caring. Thank You to the hospital for taking care of my Nevada resident family. From a little ved one in California

Stephanie Ditzler

Thank you Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center for the attention to details that your staff and Doctor R. Agrawal gave throughout my procedure. I was comforted by not only the knowledge & bedside manner of the staff but also the care they showed to my husband and family. Sincerely, Stephanie D

Erik Johnson

This is a terrible hospital. The people there are rude. They don't take care of their patients. My dad also went there for a routine procedure and died.

Phyllis Roos

Staff was very friendly, concerned and attentive. I saw a Dr once and from there the nurses did everything else. When discharged no dr ever came around to give diagnose , i thought that was strange . I don't think that I would visit there again.. But big SHOUTS TO ALL THE WONDERFUL NURSES !! THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO..!!!

I was admitted to Spring Valley Hospital on Monday, June 10, 2019 through the emergency room. I was not only sick but feeling very frustrated upon arrival. I was at an urgent care facility on Saturday, June 08, 2019 with the same symptoms and was treated and sent home. I continue to get WORSE!! I suffered at home feeling like I was dying a slow death. I returned to urgent care again Monday morning June 10, 2019. I was once agin treated for pain relief and sent home in a state barely walking. After returning home, in less than one hour, I could feel my body shutting down. My family contacted urgent care and related the state of my condition. We were instructed to immediately go to the emergency room at Spring Valley. Upon arriving at Spring Valley, I was exhausted, dehydrated, frustrated and had a migraine returning quickly. The staff was very attentive and shockingly appeared to care! Once I said how much pain I was in and explained what my body had suffered the past few days, I was immediately taking into a triage room where my vitals were taken and from there I heard one of the emergency care receptionist tell my family that they were taking me to the back immediately and giving me a bed and fluids. After being stabilized in the emergency room and additional test were conducted, it was decided that the best care would be for me to be admitted for further testing. From the moment I was transported to my room by a super nice gentleman, Steve, to the time I met the care staff being assigned to me, I felt relief!!! Would I actual receive the he care I need???? Up until my arrival to Spring Valley, I felt like I had become a victim of the health care insurance system. I was in urgent care three times in two-weeks and did not receive the level of care I should had received!!!! It’s very disheartening especially when you know your body is failing and medical professionals are not listening or just don’t care. After getting settled in, the staff was very attentive. I suffered a severe migraine attack about 2:00 am. I pressed the emergency button and Nurse Gigi responded and found me screaming and crying with a swollen left eye shut. She immediately looked around and asked what happened. It looked like I’d been attacked. She called for assistance and told the person on the other end of the phone to get help, because she could not leave me alone. She called the doctor to relate my shocking condition her her eye witness account to my claims. Staff members were urging Nurse Gigi to come to the nursing station. She told them that she was not leaving me alone. Nurses Gigi sat on my bed in tears holding me until medicine arrived. Once the medicine was administered, Nurse Gigi stayed with me until I was stabilized. I have never received such excellent care from a medical facility in my life!!!!! I’ve had two children, a few different surgeries and several incidents that required hospital visits. The experience continues: Attending Physician Sheikh, Mahmud is a very good listener and makes sure he’s hearing exactly what’s going on so he knows the action of care. He's been very thorough in my treat plan. Charge nurse Courtney is exceptional. Nurse Gigi ( I just want to take her home) she needs to give peer empathy classes!! She’s so good!! I wish I could recommend her for a Patient Care Award!! She alone has restored my faith in healthcare providers. She introduced me to her relief team and asked them to please take care of me. I feel like she gave me the care that she would want to receive herself or for her loved ones!!!!! The care from this nurse alone relieved my stress level a great deal and I'm sure is having a more favorable impact on my recovery. Nurse Sandra and Nurse Bridget are my day nurses. Charge Nurse Courney has obviously provided great leadership because the nurses on her watch are exceptional!!!!!! We often go straight to reviews when we receive inferior services. I believe it's equally important to post a review when we receive exceptional services. My journey continues.................

I honestly wouldn’t give this hospital any stars !! But in order for me to write a review , I’ll give them a one star. My grandmother had surgery to have both legs amputated, they didn’t bath her for a week while she was in the hospital, she has to do dialysis, meaning she can’t eat before , they waited until 8 pm to even do it, called her daughter to tell them she needs to go before midnight or we will pay out of pocket . The way they treated her and didn’t take proper care of her is down right wrong . Would they want someone to treat their mother or grandmother this way? Would they wait until so late in the day to start dialysis, knowing she needs to eat but making her wait ? And to even say “if she’s her after midnight it’s out of pocket expenses” (which I get bc of insurance) but if they wouldn’t have twiddled their damn thumbs all day while playing cards , maybe they could have given her a bath every day!! .... and start dialysis earlier therefor not resulting in her starving and having to leave after midnight bc dialysis takes a while. They also didn’t go over aftercare instructions for her amputation with her caregiver , they literally discharged her and plopped her in the car and that’s it ....

The nurses and staff were so caring and attentive, they made my surgery experience so much better. Every single person from registration through dismissal was wonderful. Thank you Spring Valley Hospital staff for caring for your patients.

I usually go to san Martin for all of my procedures, but my doctor wanted me to go to spring valley hospital. I had surgery scheduled at 7:30am, arrived at 5:30am as I was asked to. My surgery was performed and I was put into the recovery room. Probably after an hr, I was asked if I'd like to be discharged. Of course I would, I have 2 young children at home that need their mommy! I was discharged and wheeled out to my husband's car. On the way home (I live about 45 mins away from the hospital) my husband stopped to get us some waters. I blacked out in the front seat and was turning blue. Paramedics were called, they even said I was discharged too early, that the hospital should have never done that. I seemed to be fine, and the paramedics let us go. As we were approaching my house, I blacked out again. My husband and my mother in law tried to pull me off of the ground, but I couldnt see or walk. I fell on the ground, which caused my stitches in my stomach to open. Probably one of the scariest days of my life. After another er trip, antibiotics, and my doctor stitching me up again, I'm finally home and recovering. I really wished I was kept longer or advised to stay longer in the recovery room.

Visited ER while on short vacation. I have ALS and some symptoms were causing quite a bit of discomfort. Dr. Landis was great, ran some tests and solved the problem. Ben was the nurse assigned, he needed to perform some less than pleasant procedures on me and he told me regardless of what he has to do the tasks are part of his job and he loves his job. I cannot compliment him enough. Great job to all and THANK YOU!

Lupita Macias-Ramirez

My nurse Roxy was very kind she would check up on me to make sure I was not in any pain. Over all a great experience.

Joseph B

Although the medical care was horrible , my nurses were extraordinary, anticipating me needs and making my stay as comfortable as possible. The excellent nurses that provided some of the best care I have ever had, having to fight an up hill battle to get my home pain medications ordered, and this caused me to go into withdrawal, frightening some of my friends that were present. If it was not for the persistence of my ICU nurse, I might have gone into withdrawal seizures. Thank you to all my great nurses that took cake of me. Joe

Peter Cranston

Everything was handled professionally and efficiently. All staff members were great!

Timothy Hewitt

I went there was a sore throat lumps on my throat. Doctor took a swab all they gave you was and ibuprofen and a steroid no medicine to take home no other treatment inside the hospital my son also went with me he had a hernia that needs to be removed they felt that he needed to contact a general surgeon

Hannah Balicki

One star is generous for this place. I came in late at night with my best friend who broke his foot. We were seen maybe an hour or more after we arrived and the physicians treated us as the lowest priority. The doctor that treated him ripped his sock off his foot aggressively knowing he was in pain and when she left the conversation went as followed, “Any questions? no? k.” and she left and never came back. It’s a good thing we didn’t have any questions!

Michael Maury

I was seen immediately when I came to the emergency room. My vitals were taken, and I was given ice for my injuries. The nurse and Doctor were helpful and caring. X-Rays were taken of my hand, wrist, and shoulder. I will follow up.

Monique Otero

I gave birth at spring valley and I have to Jeanette was amazing. I mean the whole team was great but she stood out to me the most. I was heartbroken when she wasnt the one delivering my baby, but Katy was just as good. They all were very attentive, and supportive. Definitely recommend this hospital for first time mommys.

K B

DON'T HAVE YOUR BABY HERE!!!!!! Wow! Where do I start? Let's start with the rude receptionist on the day shift in the birthing center. Your happy day should not begin with her. Customer service skills are a must in this type of a position, which quite alot of employees here lack, including management. NO PRIVACY, you have your baby and are stuck with other mothers for hours before you get your own room. NIC unit - No privacy and are undermined constantly by the employees day or night shift. Made to feel very uncomfortable by employees hovering and telling you how to take care of your baby (this is my 3rd by the way) Even though there is more than one baby here and only one sleeping room, the staff allowed one mother to monopolize the room for days not allowing other parents to use the room. Most importantly... Being judged. I wont go into all the details but its not the staff's job to treat me differently regardless of my situation. Its their job to give me and my child the best care possible without attitude. If you want an amazing experience go to Sienna St Rose, I will forever regret my decision to have my baby here.

Luciana Miller

I had a foot surgery at this hospital with Dr Chan Holman I was like wow for everything there, the Doctor was amazing, the hospital staff was super friendly and caring, I have been in a lot of hospitals before but this one just became my favorite. Thank You Spring Valley Hospital you guys are awesome.

Crystal Land

I wish I could give this place a zero stars but I couldnt. So tonight I went in to spring valley hospital er around 648, at around 9 PM my sister asked the front desk man what was going on bc I was throwing up or trying to throw up again. They told her I wasnt a Priority which I understood because I wasnt dying in need. But the man in front raymond told me and my sister that the more upset we were the more he wasnt going to help us. Mind you I understand er rooms are very busy. Long story short, I got into it with the two people in front. Raymond and april. And I will never returning to spring valley again even if I am dying.

Bobbette Smith

Moved from ICU to the 3ed floor on the new part about 12 NOON TODAY I STILL DO NOT HAVE LUNCH AT 4:25PM REALLY. THANK GOD MY HUSBAND CAME AND BROUGHT ME FOOD RING FOR THE NURSE ~~ TAKES FROM 7 TO 12MINUTES FOR THEM TO RESPOND UNBELIEVABLE

Ryan Lee

Fast, easy and professional. I enjoyed the experience.

Something Special Florist

This was my second time here as a patient, I was transferred my ambulance from Desert View Hospital in Pahrump All t;he nurses on the third floor were outstanding! I don’t remember their names to thank them individually. But One person made an impression on me. Her name is Alma. Alma works in the housekeeping. She knocked on my Door and introduced herself by name and what department she worked in. When she entered the room her smile Lit up the whole room. She cleaned everything too. But the best thing that happened was she told me that this Was her second day working. I would really appreciate if she got a pat on the back from her administratr.

H K

Husband just had surgery and is in ICU and some of the staff are really loud. People in here are supposed to be recovering i highly doubt they want to be woken up by some loud as nurse that has no bedside manner but then again what do i know... Most of the staff here has been amazing. So many amazing people in ICU, Savanna on the 3rd floor however she needs to work on the way she handles upset people.

Nanette H

I had a wonderful experience here. Everyone was kind caring compassionate. The care was very good. I have been coming for my surgeries for the past 2 years and always had a great experience.

Vince Ruffin

Was seen in waiting room by doctor. Never brought to the back. Many HIPAA Violations

Pamela Michael

I'm not sure why they had me arrive at 5:30 a.m. for my pre-op stuff when they didn't take me back until after 6. There has to be a better way.

Vicki Pearson

I would give a zero rating if I could!

Michael Dorsey

Very professional and expediant service. Friendly attentive staff

aldo signorino

I walked into the Emergency Room with severe pain in my shoulder. The staff and doctors were courteous, caring and professional. When I walked out, I was feeling much better because of their help. It was an incredible experience. Thank you Spring Valley Medical Center.

Heather P

I am so thankful to the staff of spring valley hospital!!! I have lupus and was rushed to the hospital in an ambulance and put on life support by intubation (ventilator) during May 2018. I appreciated every moment of my stay. Each staff member was completely knowledgeable and genuinely respectful. Thank you staff from the intensive Care unit! Each nurse that took care of me was so kind and helped in so many ways. I don't have a rheumatologist yet so the spring valley hospital team put together an efficient medicine plan to control my lupus. During my stay I was on a ventilator for about 3 days, then moved to another floor for another 3 weeks. They drained the outside of my lungs (pleural effusion). They saved my life. I have been to quite a few hospitals in the valley and this hospital is my favorite by far!!! Very knowledgeable staff! Always checking on my condition. Always asking if I need anything. Thank you so much for everything!!!!

John Rusnak

Staff was curious and fun while I was there. Treated well, dietary staff worked with my need to accommodate a diabetic diet. Was from out if town, but they made me feel at ease.

James McGovern

Came to see a doctor in LV. Clean hospital, helpful staff. Parking was easy.

Raenna Johnson

I don't work here, but I eat here everyday on my lunch and the food is amazing and the staff is friendly! #greatburgers

Camille Osier

I was in the hospital from 9/26 to 9/27. The 4th floor nurses and staff were amazing. My nurses were Katie, Tonya and Colleen. My doctor was Dr Lumbres & the xray tech was Michael. All amazing professionals. The missing star however, was the ED physician, Dr Fox. He did introduce himself and asked me to tell him what happened. I told him I was having trouble breathing and was in a great deal of pain after falling and hitting my left lower rib cage. He moved my left foot, leg and touched my hip and tummy asking me if it hurt there. (It didn't.) He left after less than 5 minutes later w/o listening to my lungs or looking at the injury site. He nor any one else in the ED ever ask me what my pain level was. I did finally request an ice bag and something for pain. In my ED nurse Carla's defence, she was awfully busy. or asking me my pain level or even suggesting that I get something for pain. Dr Fox approached me a couple hours later to say, "I have bad news. You've fx'd ribs and have a small pneumothorax, you are being admitted." I do understand the stress these ED physicians are under. As a nurse myself I worked in the ED for several years. But good bedside manner is so comforting to us as patients. And one more thing, when my husband went inside to get me a wheelchair when I arrived, he was told that, "we can't find one!" I thought this was a joke, but it clearly wasn't.

Teresa Herrera

My two grandchildren were born here, my family goes here. It's just an all around 5 start hospital. Every ER visit I had has been resolved there by all the knowledgeable doctors, nurses and staff. Very clean for hospital

Christopher Rensink

Sarah D., Stef, And Joel are the Beyonce of help and care at Spring Valley. Ask for them and you are good to go.

Dennis Imhoff

It was great from beginning to end

Kyle Aurelio

Simple and short, came into the ER, late at night, daughter had an allergic reaction, had to draw blood, messed up not once not twice not three but all arm, and hands... someone finally who was experienced came down after messing up ON MY DAUGHTER TO DRAW BLOOD who is 10 months old, finally got the job done, it felt like no one knew was they were doing especially this red hair cocasian female adult, not gonna name them, happened from 10pm 2-6-2019, correctly writing in the ER as the same lady tried to draw blood that messed up, trying to draw pee this time, she got frustrated serveral times and IS NOT COMFORTING TO THE guest of the hospital, like I was more scared for the safety of my daughter who was being taken care of by the nurse than the allergy reaction my daughter was having... WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

Jennifer Gray

Nothing but VERY IMPRESSED with my trip in from Pahrump to bring a sick friend to Spring Valley Hospital! Extremely minimal wait time in the ER, and thorough exam & treatment by the doctor that saw her. I would highly recommend your hospital to anyone & everyone. Thank U Spring Valley!!

Chris H

Spent 3 months in the nicu half the staffing very dimissive to your concerns no sense of empathy towards the parents. Hospital very understaffed babies would cry for hours til a nurse would come and check. You would think a level 3 baby who needs a lot of care would get the attention needed nurses just walk by crying babies rooms. Meet with the management to remedy the issue nothing was done highly suggest birthing at a different hospital if you want the proper care for your babies.

Nearly killed my Mother because she didn't "fall into protocol" while exhibiting all symptoms of septic shock due to a UTI. Treated her like she was a frequent patient when it's the first time she hadn't been in a hospital since 1983, when giving birth to me. Ignored all symptoms until rapid response had to be called. I had left the room and gone home for 30 minutes and returned to a madhouse. Because of the UTI, she had gone into a state of delirium, they ignored my plea to please watch over her while I was gone for 30 minutes. Sure enough, she woke up, tore everything out of her, went into panic, and then proceeded to have a heart attack and went into Afib, something that has never happened in her life. They then released her 2 days later and four hours later all symptoms came back and she had to go back. She was nearly sent home from the ER until I had to bring to the doctors attention that her oxygen levels were in the 70s/80s and she had liquid in her lungs and her test came back that her UTI was back just four hours after being released, to which then you could see the look on his face was that of a man who was making the wrong choice that was going to turn into a legal matter if he sent her home. She remained there for another two days.

This is for the Emergency Room. I have never seen a more well ran ER in America. From the moment I walked in I was treated like a vip. The first girl that checked me in told me I was in good hands and she was right. I went straight back to a room which never happens in ERs. The nurses and aides were caring, kind, and of the highest caliber of the profession. They anticipated everything I needed before the doctor even came in to see me. Talk about being in good hands! I’d say they were professional but that sounds too business. I was treated like immediately family. I want them to know how much that meant. Every single person I encountered worked from the heart and it showed. I was checked on more frequently than I thought I needed but boy that made me feel safe or like the check in girl said in good hands. I came in thinking something seriously was wrong with me but I left thinking I had just witnessed how healthcare in America should be. I saw every nurse act with others the way they acted with me. Even the ER nurse director and a supervisor nurse both personally visited me and took notes on anything they could do to make things better for the next person who came in and that really impressed me. Not only did they care about me they cared about their future. They made sure I had everything I needed and if I had any questions. I could tell that they also had heart and soul for what they did. So important and impressive at a very vulnerable moment in my life. I could also go on and on about how great my nurse was from the small talk to distract me from my pain to the gentle way she moved my arm to draw my blood, but I saw it with everyone there (unfortunately you can see and hear a lot in ERs) so I’m not going to name any names because everyone was wonderful. The director gave me her card so I will share the names with her. Yes she gave me her card so if I had anything not answered she said she was a call away. I can’t thank everyone enough for what they did. This will be the only hospital I go to, but hopefully not again any time soon.

After being at work for 10 hours, then Mt view hospital with my bf after he was rushed there with chest pain while I was at work for a few more hours, I received a call from our neighbors that were watching her that my daughter fell outside. I get home and me and the neighbors have to take her to spring valley hospital. 5 HOURS to glue her wound shut which they glued her hair into the wound then called CPS and said I cut my daughter with a knife. Thankfully my neighbor who was watching her at the time came with me. I would not wish this upon my worst enemy. She was born there and now we'll NEVER go back

Cindy Koon

I was seen in the E.R. at the location on Rainbow on 10/22. I was on vacation and had a fall in my hotel room and damaged my knee. I was seen quickly and treated so well from the folks at check in to the doctor and everyone in between. They were friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel glad that I chose them for care. I am now home and having surgery early next week. Thank you all for making my vacation less stressful!

Kristen Adams

My husband had ACDF - 3 level surgery - the staff at the hospital was compassionate, caring and professional. They were first rate and we couldn't believe what a good experience this unpleasant situation could be.

Fred Yates

Terrible experience at spring valley hospital and absolutely no help from the CEO MR Lawrence. Pls beware and do not step foot in this hospital, unless you want to leave paying thousands of $ for poor service. They are just after excessive amounts for insurance purposes. The hospital is unclean and you'll leave more unwell! Pls beware. This hospital must be closed down immediately. I've just been reading other reviews on Google and about the countless deaths. Why doesn't authorities step in and close down this hospital? The owner that responds is the one that should be charged! He is the one gaining financially and has absolutely no morals. Pls ignore the bills they send and do not pay. You should get a good lawyer to represent you rather than paying these criminals.

DealingWith LasVegas

HORRIBLE! A day before Christmas Eve I had to visit the ER because my 80 year old psychiatrist closed his practice with no warning leaving me without important medication. Because the holidays were approaching I had to find help. I spoke with doctors at Urgent Care, they said go to the ER. I did. Arriving at the ER, the staff was great, no wait , things were going well, ...until we met the doctor. I was treated by A HORRIBLE uncaring female doctor who without any background on me said, "YOU should NEVER be on this medication!!!" Yet, 5 years ago, Spring Valley Hospital increased my dosage because of an irregular heart beat (of the same medication she was berating me over). After her SPEEDY SPEEDY ANGRY speech, she said, "I will not refill your medication, you are going to get off this, and DON'T THINK YOU CAN COME BACK HERE." My husband and I tried to ask her valid questions about the withdraw, she spoke over us, then a few minutes later answered the same question we were trying to ask. We looked at each other baffled. Doctor was RUDE, very speedy (suspicious) , and uncaring. It's almost February, I'm still going through withdraw and will never go to this hospital again. I have no quality of life, at this time, I can barely talk on some days, and can't work. Thankfully, I have come far enough I can type. Left to "fin for myself" during a holiday season when doctors are hard to find...I'm suffering. I could have gone into cardiac arrest from withdraws = will never go back to this hospital for care!!!!! The dispensary down the street is more caring! HORRIBLE ER DOCTOR.

Radhika Shah

Lost a dear one due to utter negligence by the hospital staff and doctors. Proper investigation should be carried on for the countless deaths caused by this hospital!

Ogechi Nwosu

had my best birth experience at The Birthplace. RN were completely amazing!I love my special baby Tshirt (vegas Born) given by the hospital

Jan Dechant

I should have listened to all of the warnings to stay away from this ER and had I not been in so much pain, and not able to stand, my pain got the better of me so I caved and went there. The ER employees were so rude and unprofessional I couldn’t believe it. After being in the medical field for years, I understand protocols. The first rude employee was the girl st the ER. Desk. The second was a male who could have been I don’t know what. Failed to introduce himself when he spoke to me. Tall fellow in black scrubs with yellow tennis shoes. Proceeded to inform me that it would take 6 hours for an MRI because they don’t order them unless I was peeing myself and walked out, after I told him that’s what I needed done no matter how long it took because I couldn’t even stand or walk. Next a nurse named Bianca came in to give me a pain pill and a shot. At no time was I asked about my allergies. When I asked about the shot she didn’t share with me what was in it. I explained being a diabetic I knew a steroid would raise my blood sugar. She said it was a steroid but wouldn’t affect my Blood sugar. ( after leaving I checked it and it was at 255). Finally got the MRI done but was not given the written report. I was just told that I didn’t need surgery. I was given 2 prescriptions by Dr Yo. One for a muscle relaxer which I told them I was on already and one for prednisone which I also told them I was already on. Needless to say everyone should take these reviews to heart and stay away from this place.

Brian Ives

Had to visit here last night for myself.....everyone was great and made the visit as pleasant as could be... not to long time there and got answers......

Lindra Scott

This is the 2nd time I was discharged from Spring Valley to 2 different rehab facilities. Both times my whole medication list was NOT sent to rehab. I contacted the hosp. I was told by a nurse at the nurse lhosder ortho/surgical phone number that once I was discharged nothing could be done. I have the name and phone number of the nurse if anyone is interested. My thoughts are that the nurses do not give the Dr the entire list to approve upon discharge. If it's a weekend, you're screwed. Don't expect ANYONE to take responsibility. It won't happen. I physically saw the the discharge orders sent by Spring Valley to rehab. You had better have a patient advocate NOT employed by the hopital if you have problems.

Aditi Nahata

I don’t think we can call this place a hospital and the staff anymore than an illiterate bunch of gold diggers. My family was travelling in Las Vegas this March, where my mom, Sarita Nahata developed minor weakness. She was taken to Spring Valley ER via ambulance for urgent care. She had difficulty breathing and was experiencing heart pain and body numbness. She and our family was constantly asking for help, but were ignored by the staff at the ER. The nurse on the front desk did not get up to check the status of my mom and the doctor arrived after 60 minutes. They later over-drugged her to death The illiterate Roderick Ballelos did not care to understand her medical history and had no idea of what he and the other staff members ( Can’t call any of them doctors) were doing. The staff showed utmost negligence- both in terms of timing and medications for treatment leading to the death of a healthy 47 year old lady. The doctor later did not come for duty in the following days. THE HOSPITAL IS HOME TO THE MOST DANGEROUS ANIMALS WHO DON’T DESERVE TO PRACTICE MEDICINE. IT IS TIME TO INVESTIGATE THE COUNTLESS DEATHS THEY CAUSE- BEGINNING WITH MY MOM. We are going to take major steps against the hospital and anyone else who has been a target of their unjust doing are also welcome to join me. ROBERT BALLELOS IS A KILLER, AND HE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO TARGET ANY OTHER INNOCENT LIFE. A 1 STAR RATING IS INFINITE TIMES MORE THAN WHAT THEY DESERVE. SPRING VALLEY SHOULD SHUT DOWN TO AVOID ANY MORE UNJUST KILLING

Gadi Perets

Great treatment, fast, professional, well equipped with cutting-edge medical equipment and great staff

Nancy Brown

Service was great. Staff was AMAZING , from intake to discharge. Would reccomend this facility.

Abhyudai Tripathi

They killed my friends mother on the 12th March. Roderick Ballelos is a plain butcherer and murderer. Doctors don’t look at patients for 1-2 hours. There are no nurse attendants. They diagnose wrong medicines. We are with this family and hope the hospital and doctors are banned from valley system.

Cody Lewis

Starting to think I’m just being scammed from this place. The care I received was unsatisfactory to say the least. I was lied to by two nurses who said I HAD to take another test in order to be released. The test and reasons they gave me made no sense and I told them no multiple times because it was unnecessary. Eventually the doctor said I wouldn’t need the test and canceled it. MY RELEASE PAPERWORK EVEN STATES THE TEST WAS CANCELED AND NEVER RAN. When I received the bill the test was on there for $500 and insurance refused to cover it because like I said it was unnecessary. Now I’ve asked the hospital three times for itemized bills of my stay and they keep telling me they mailed the forms out. This last time I requested my itemized bill by email and was told they would send it. That was two weeks ago. This originally happened 5 months ago and these people have zero concern for helping you and make it difficult to talk to anyone who actually can help leading me to think I’m just being scammed and they probably over bill people all the time then don’t respond and figure people just pay and don’t look at the itemized bill. At this point I’m ready to go to the Nevada attorney general and also seek my own legal representation for this. Unless you’re bleeding out and going to die in the next 15 min avoid this hospital at all costs. The same two nurses thought I was sleeping and sat there insulting other patients and also undermined the doctor on what was being recommended for myself. This place is a madhouse. *** edit*** Two more months have gone by and my issue still isn’t resolved. I have figured out a few things though. Getting any piece of information from them will require you to make multiple calls or emails asking for the same thing, otherwise they will ignore your request. I also found out by time stamps that the test the doctor canceled (while I wa standing next to her) they ran anyways. They actually already released me and determined I was fine then decided to run the test two hours after I was already gone from the hospital and billed me for it. If you have any billing issues here, which it seems many people do. Just go to the Nevada Attorney General about it because the hospital staff will ignore your calls and emails if you ask for information.

jesse james

I had a Knee replacement at this Hospital and the staff are just fantastic. once in my room Brad my RN was so great that I'm floored in the leval of care I received. Maria also was great I believe she's the CNA. anyway anyone I dealt with at spring Valley Hospital is well trained in meeting all expectations in quality service and care. amazing staff thank you spring Valley Hospital for all your care well I was there.

vicki sorensen

I am at hospital NOW as a patient, admitted early morning from ER. I have serious severe pulmonary issues, among other things. ER was good, but after admitted they called over and over for doctor's orders to administer any meds. They finally heard from him this morning and have meds now. I didn't sleep a wink with pain and gasping for air all night. I wanted to go back tonight E R or go to another hospital. I finally used my own meds even after I was told not to. I could've stayed home and suffered. Looks like it may go better now I met the doc for a whole 2 minutes. Will be here at least another night. I have a lung infection called MAC and also emphysema and scarring, so having a head and chest cold puts me into exacerbation and pain from coughing. I heard alot of apologies FROM the staff, Dr didn't acknowledge

Bobi Jo Milstead

Will never go to this hospital again. I felt very unsafe. If I could put no stars I would.

Lauren Y

Absolute nightmare of a situation with this hospital. I was presented an outrageous bill for an emergency room visit about a year ago and am still trying to get them to reduce it. Instead they've submitted my "debt" to collections without responding to me. You will never get anything in writing from them; certified letters go unanswered. I recommend avoiding this hospital, if you can.

Becky Lerma

Excellent care! Every person from admitting to janitorial services were nice and accommodating. Whatever I needed, they helped me with. I want to commend Mary, the nurse in surgery prep. She made me feel at ease at a time that is full of anxiety. The room nurses were all amazing, the nurses assistants were kind and helpful and so were the physical therapists. Thank you to a great team!

Cheryl Pritchard

ER Staff and Doc were absolutely awesome. I felt super safe leaving my schizophrenic son in their hands. They definitely care. Thank you all so very much

Mark Mackey

Went to pre register for surgery this morning and a guy named Alex was supposed to be the one to do it. Alex was extremely rude and very unprofessional. He has no business dealing with the public with that attitude. Its bad enough to have to go through surgery without having someone talk to you as being an "annoyance". He was so rude that I will see another surgeon to have my surgery elsewhere and not at Spring Valley. Like they say, first impressions make lasting impressions. Makes me wonder what the rest of the staff is like. I would not trust that hospital now to have surgery or anything done at Spring Valley. One more thing, Alex was very hesitant in giving me the names of his supervisor. I wonder why?

Stephanie Toenniges

The lady at the behavior health ward was very nice helped me get the information i needed

Beautiful Queen

I had such a good experience in this hospital. I delivered my daughter here and let me say from experience the nurses were very caring and so helpful with everything.I had no problems. They treated my husband and I very good as well as our daughter.I love this hospital and would recommend it for mothers to be. They also gave us a welcoming dinner for our daughter . All the food was amaZing

Blaire Martin

The nurse was awesome! The doctor was one I had never seen before (even the nurse said she had never seen him) my OB sent me to be monitored because I have high blood pressure, and am 5 cm dilated. The doctor came by for two minutes, had terrible bedside manner, did not check my cervix, and sent me home. He acted as though I was a burden to be there. It’s unfortunate because I have been to this hospital 3 times before this during this pregnancy alone for complications and the doctor I saw the last 3 times was awesome (dr. Adler). This ones name was Dr. Pancinic (not sure if I spelled it correct.) I almost questioned if he was an actual doctor because his behavior was so off.

Regina Ucker

Over all, I was treated well by all the staff. My last day I was not treated in the same manner as the first 2days. The early nurses and nurse aides were more curteous and went above a little bit to make me more comfortable. The last day I didn't get that little bit extra.. Again, in general, I was happy w/ the hospital and would consider surgery there again..

mark grigory

One of the best Hospitals in vegas, very organized and knowledgable in the medical field.

Miracle Moore

Left sitting in the waiting room in fluorescent lighting (with a concussion & extreme pain) for hours on end. When I asked if they possibly had somewhere more comfortable I was told they had no beds even though I had been in the back for a scan & there were dozens of empty rooms/beds. 7 hours after I went in and when they went to release me I notice information and a prescription that the first doctor had mentioned was missing. 1st doctor didn’t give 2nd doctor any information so they had to re-examine me instead of release me. This took another hour or so. Spent over 8 hours here (mostly in the waiting room) when I could’ve gone elsewhere and out much faster. Never going to spring valley again.

James Dow

Everyone in the ER is very kind. Nurses were great. Wait is long. About 4 hours before Doctor saw me. But that is not unusual for an ER.

Al Edwards

The received in Las Vegas. The staff is always willing to go the extra mile to assure resolution have any challenges should they occur. Every patient is made comfortable as possible . Definitely a five star Plus facility

Salvador Mazariego

Only giving this a 1 star because they were able to help my wife so quickly. The nurses were nice but they take forever to actually get anything done. We pressed the button for the nurse so we could get water and 27 minutes go by no water. We press again and the same nurse (not our assigned nurse) comes back and says " do you still need the water?" Yes. We have been waiting this whole time for water. We asked for test results anf none have been presented the nurse that was originally assigned to us is nowhere to be seen. We are just waiting on some test results. We have been here for over 4 hours with lackluster service.

Delay of care... that has been the problem with this hospital. As an ICU nurse, nurses especially in IMC and ICU are supposed to be assertive to care and save their critical patients. My mother expired in this hospital not getting the proper care. Delay in dialysis despite of having critically high potassium. And in IMC, Heather, the night shift staff nurse assigned to my mother doesn’t listen to our concerns. We informed her that my mother has labored breathing and was requesting for her to call the doctor. She just said that her oxygen saturation was 100% and she was just anxious. Until they coded my mother coz she became asystole. I asked her if she ever called the doctor and she said NO. My mother got transferred to the ICU, had another code blue and didnt survive. The nurses dont even deserve a 1/2 star. If I have to type in all my mother’s bad experience her, The space wont be enough. Not a good hospital to go to of nurses are passive like Heather from IMC. Now my mother’s gone.

Negative Stars a hundred times over! But for all of us living in my father's room 24/7 for 31 days, Spring Valley Hospital would have killed my father. My 75 year old father arrived in the ER Feb 24, 2019 after I found him unresponsive in his room that morning. Upon arrival at the ER I told the ER girl at least 20+ times he needed his anti-seizure medication or he was going to have another seizure! I was ignored. i was also told to wait in the lobby for 20 minutes? I have NEVER before been separated from him in any ER or Hospital. They told me they had sedated him and he would not be able to have a seizure with the medication they had given him and were going to take him for a CT scan and would come and get me in 20 minutes. Apparently while I waited in the lobby, they didn't get him to the CT scan- he had a grand mal seizure and they intubated him. So I walked back in after 20 minutes and it was terrifying- there was my father on life support? Nothing about this incident was any different from previous seizures my father has had but for the intubation. He was sent to ICU where it took days to get ANY kind of answer as to what was happening to my father. No Doctor came to speak to me after several requests (Yet, it turns out he was sitting a few feet away) but made NO attempt to speak to the family? When he finally came I asked why the vent v. oxygen mask? The only "professional" opinion I received was "What? I can't take him off the vent. He'll die". No explanation is to why he needed the vent or what his condition was. We found only out pieces here and there, by asking Nurses and other medical personnel as they came in and out of his room. "He had pneumonia, He didn't" He had an infection, He didn't"-- everyone had contradictory information. We had no access to any tests, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment options etc...We were told throughout the 31 days we could have all that after he was discharged and we could then get a copy of his medical records???? I caught one of the ICU Nurses physically and emotionally abusing my father and reported her. She was simply moved to another patient. I have 3 pages to add to this but I cannot figure out how to get the full review on here--Please DO NOT send anyone to Spring Valley and GET THEM OUT IF THEY ARE THERE ALREADY!!! It's all departments- no one is safe there

Keisha Owens

I went to this Hospital 3 weeks ago. Complaining of Shortness of breath, chest and abdomen pain. They dimissed my concern. I over heard two "professionals" speaking of a woman other than myself they thought was lying. Which does happen sometimes. However I was not lying about my issue. As my symptoms gotten worse I went to sunrise hospital to find that I need surgery to have my gallbladder removed. I can't help but wonder had they thoroughly checked they could have caught this and I wouldn't need surgery. I just want to say not everyone is lying. Have some compassion and you may save someone from needing surgery. I just pray the other young lady doesn't end up in a similar situation.

Robyn Hutchison

Spent a month there. Efficient nursing staff and excellent doctors

Kate Frye

I was in emergency room from noon to 5 in lots of pain from hiatal hernia. Had to drink the yucky stuff for contrast cat scan. Everyone there was so upbeat and efficient I wanted to send them a thank you note..so thiis is it..THANKS EVERYONE FOR THE GREAT SERVICE

alyssa acosta

Clean fast dr was amazing nurse respectful and caring !!

Victoria Harper

The only good thing about this place is an RN by the name of Carolina, she was working emergency Tuesday afternoon, Nov 20, 2018. Amazing lady, super nice, calming, efficient and informative. The doctor, however was a total evil bitch hag from hell. First telling me the abdominal pain I was having was marijuana induced. Are YOU SERIOUS? I had to fight her to get into an ultrasound and a cat scan. When I was informed of an infection i have, HOURS LATER, I told the doctor that I was right, wasn't I? It's not a marijiana induced infection is it? AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW? MARIJUANA DOESN'T CAUSE THE INFECTION I HAVE! mind-blowing information. I was at a ten for pain for hrs before I was given anything to relieve the pain because of this crazy twat's ASSUMPTION that I was a drug addict. Such a disgusting facility when it comes to patient care or bedside mannerisms. Thank GOD I was blessed with such a wonderful RN! She was amazing. Carolina get out of there, girl! Go get yourself a raise and in a better facility. They don't deserve you!

Debra Brooks

Over 3 hours to be treated. Horrible. Great nurse but too long of wait.

Keyana Washington

Everyone was very friendly and very attentive.

Leah Calixto

Kristy and Michelle took great care of me. Like angels in disguise! Thank you!

Shaquian Dillihunt

I just delivered my baby January 24, 2019 staff was very nice. Hospital is clean as far as I know for labor and delivery department. I would recommend this place.

Nadia Lewis

Worst hospital that I have ever went to. They have a Shortage of doctors on site. They are not professional or trained well. It Seems they are so hungry for business they will take your insurance card and info then disappear for hours, come back and give you week diagnosis and a million subscriptions or down play the extent of your sickness or and illness, makes everything seem like it’s normal or common, just to send you home for you to come back and complain again ...there’s another bill. Your better off going to an older facility, these people are just trying to keep the doors open on this new establishment by billing you for as much as they can while you are there! My son was forced to take the ambulance to another hospital after they clearly had no experience with dealing with his condition. I was held against my will and threatened to be arrested for wanting to take my son to another hospital. Totally embarrassing. They have no waiting for a reason, everyone in the area knows that they are awe full

Rodney Fife

Dr Rosenberg treated my wife in the hospital. He had a condescending and arrogant attitude. He did not like answering questions or addressing concerns. If you want to be treated by a doctor who has any decent amount of empathy then he is not the doctor for you. My wife is currently patient in the hospital. Her care has been sub-par. It is taking 40 minutes to one hour for nurse staff to respond. The commucation between Dr, nurse and patient is poor. No answer to questions.

Evan Spoon

Overall, my husband and I had a great experience and were very well taken care of. We had amazing nurses who watched over us and cared for us. Our experience was a positive one due to nurses like Sarah and Jenny who went above and beyond to care for me and my child. The negative however was that of the anesthesiology (epidural) that did not work. Therefore I had to have this procedure done 4 times in order to get it right. I am not sure what happened, it everyone kept telling me that my body rejected it. I received this procedure 4 times before it actually worked and was done correctly. Because of this fact, I felt every pain associated with childbirth from my arrival to roughly 8cm dilated (which took over 24 hours). Overall, my experience was very positive, minus the above epidural error and the pain that coincided.

Jessica Gutierrez

Very poor quality Nurses. My mom was transferred from the Summerlin Hospital wish she would of stayed over there.

Marcie Johnson

I was taken by ambulance to Spring Valley on Thanksgiving night. I had a headache that went from mild to excruciating in seconds the pain caused me to vomit non stop until medics arrived. Once I arrived to the hospital I was put in a hallway up against a wall behind a young man whom was clearly intoxicated and was threatening to stab everybody in the throat! I figured I was going to be seen by a doctor but never saw one. The nurse took my blood came back an hour or so later and told me I was being discharged and informed me there was not enough alcohol in my system to make me that sick and it must have been something I ate. So basically I was treated like the typical "drunk" person hauled off the strip. I get it, it's Las Vegas but really, I did not need to be thrown in the drunk tank. However, the staff was nice. It is now day four since the onset of my headache and I'm still experiencing the same symptoms minus the vomiting. Did we maybe miss something in the ER because we were to busy assuming I was drunk????? Waiting to hear from my PCP to find out.

adriana mendiola

Oh my God let me tell you this hospital is the best. I had my baby here and it has been the best hospital I ever been for anything. The nurses are great caring and so helpful. And let me tell you that the doctors are amazing as well. If anyone’s looking for a good customer service hospice This is the one.

Saurabh Maskara

Extremely inhuman to have a patient wait in emergency for over an hour causing her death. The regulating body must investigate and prosecute the promoters .

Alexandre De Damas

We were a group of 20 people traveling. They killed a gem of a women due to their negligence, lack of care and wrong medications. Dr. Ballelos and the hospital will have to pay for this

DaNisha Gresham

Was the worst experience ever. Night time staff does not listen to the patient. Was left alone for hours and not given the proper information for my condition and it cost me my daughters life. I was sent home despite being unstable. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone

Patty Fish

My boyfriend Brian had to have surgery done on his lower abdomen, and from the time he went into surgery to the time he got to his room he was taken care of. His Nurse Rey was very informative, attentive to his needs and took very good care of him along with the rest of the staff. They always made sure he was alright, and if he needed anything they were right there. The staff at Spring Valley Hospital are the most friendly we've ever seen, and we both highly recommend Spring Valley Hospital to anyone who needs Medical services because we believe that they are the best hospital in town. Thank you Spring Valley Hospital for taking care of the love of my life.. A+++

Judy Morgan

Very quick to respond in an emergency. Very professional. Glad they were there!

Anne Truzzolino [Vassiliadis ES]

Went to ER via ambulance for kidney stone pain. Worst pain EVER. The nurse treated me terribly. Very condescending and rude. Most of the staff seemed like they hated their jobs. I told paramedics bring me to a different hospital but they took me to spring valley for some reason. I will NEVER recommend this place. Stay away if you can.

Laura Stricker

WE ARE FROM AUT OF TOWN, THEN MY SIS HAD AN ACCIDENT..THE MAN IN ER WAS NICE TO HELP US LOCATE MY SIS..AS SHE WAS TRANSFERED TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL..HE EVEN PRINTED OUT A MAP..NOT GOOD AT FINDING PLACES IN STRANGE CITY...ANYWAY..IT WAS GOOD...TNK U..

i'm A hOleytarget

The nurses were the best during my brief stay.

Ryan Embler

I was sent over by quick care to be seen stat but they ignored me for 2 hours while admitting more and more people who came in after me. I left and went to southern Hills and was admitted immediately and given a CT scan and a bed within 30 minutes! The staff here is absolute TRASH and I guess they have a reputation for malpractice. Avoid this DUMP like the plague!

Sharon Franks

Very unhappy and disturbed by treatment my brother has received in this facility. He had knee replacement surgery that went well, but His post surgery treatment was horrendous. He was sent home 3 days after surgery and had to return to hospital 1 day afer going home. He developed a severe infection and was put on Vancomycin. Administered to him in hospital briefly and he was then sent home to administer his own infusion. Ended up overdosing and us now dealing with terrible repercussions. This should have been administered by a professional care provider in the hospital. Totally unacceptable. To make matters worse. He had to be hospitalized again where he received very little and insufficient care and attention. Needless to say, his condition is not improving. This it totally unacceptable and disturbing. This medical staff is NOT properly doing their job! He needs to be moved to a better hospital where he can get the proper care.

Andrew Dominguez

From the moment that I stepped into the ER to me walking out the door, this experience was a positive one. Nurse Practitioner Natalia and the staff were very professional and kept things light-hearted.

Javier Mena

Staff here was super nice and professional.

Paola Del Real

Check in staff and the nurses were amazing! The ultrasound tech I believe was Alina, was the best, very friendly and comforting! Doctor was totally rude, wish I caught her name... hospital was clean and everything was clean and available.

Litz R

Be careful, and do not let this happen to you. If you are uninsured stay far away from this hospital, and try to find a good small clinic. I was having abdominal cramps, after 2 weeks of pain i decided to go to the hospital. I went in they ran some tests told me i was fine and to drink water. I was given an "estimate" of the bill which was 700 dollars. i thought to myself okay, that seems reasonable. Two weeks later i was hit with a 24 Thousand dollar medical bill, with a 10 thousand dollar "uninsured discount". I went to talk to them and all they said they could do was refer me to a insurer where i should get insurance. Hard to understand where a visit, where they give you a 700 dollar estimate turns into a 24 thousand dollar bill. If you REALLY NEED TO GO to a hospital make sure you read every fine line and dont get SCAMMED. I am 21 years old, and the only option that is left for me is to file for bankrupcy.

Dor Lam

Ailene in post-op was wonderful and thorough. Hope I have her the next time I go in. On another note, not too thrilled with the discharge. The person did not explain anything and when I got home and looked at the discharge papers, there was an order on there for blood draws which my doctor did not order and when I call the hospital they had no idea about the order either. Obviously, someone put the wrong papers together.

Barbara Cruz

I am visiting from out of state and this hospital was recommended to me by a friend. It was clean, all the staff I came in contact were very friendly. And I was only in the ER for 2 hours! I would recommend this hospital to friends if needed. Good job!

Edna Whiting

Everyone was kind and helpful, however special kudos to the palliative care dr. She went above and beyond and got my husband to hospice hospital and I can't thank her enough. He left this world peacefully and I am so grateful.

G D

I called 911 because my son overdosed, when the first paramedics arrived they immediately started working on my son, then the fire department paramedics arrived and stood there asking questions to my son after he was woken up but not alert by the other paramedics, they said if he agrees to go to the hospital they will not call the cops but they had already took it upon themselves to call the cops when they arrived the other paramedics said who called the cops and the fire department said they did, so with that move I was denied by the Hospital to see my son or get any updates on his condition even by the cops, yes I found out he had a warrant for a misdemeanor charge but if I knew that I was going to be denied of being with my son or get the status update of his condition I would rather not call 911 and take a chance of having him die in my arms instead of dying in the hospital with only cops around, lesson learned never calling 911 for medical ever again!!

Laura La Rue

THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE! My grandfather went into the ER because he couldn't breath and when he was feeling better after his breathing treatment he wanted to leave to go to the VA hospital, where his doctor was.. but they told him they couldnt release him because he was "unstable." So later while he was sleeping for just one hour he woke up to the doctor and nurses telling him that he was bleeding internally and they had cauterize legions in his esophagus to stop the bleeding. They also told him that he stopped breathing and had to perform CPR on him to revive him. He was taken back by all this news becuase he was alseep for just one hour!! Not only that but he had no soreness in his throat from the procedure or in his chest from CPR. They took advantage of an elderly man making him pay an outrageous bill for things they NEVER did!! If you can please STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOSPITAL!! IT IS THE WORST HOSPITAL IN VEGAS! They have no cares for patients, they are just money hungry, abusive, corrupt people!

I had surgery here in July 2018. The staff that cared for me for 3 days were amazing. I especially like how when shift change came they gave my care summary to the next staff in front of me. So nothing was left out. I normally dislike hospital stays, but I was at kind of sad to leave. I have NOTHING negative to say at all. Looking forward to my next surgery this month.

Not impressed with their ER staff.

I gave birth to my daughter here a few years ago and I just gave birth to my son here. I absolutely love the care both of us have received and continue to receive from the staff here. I want to give a shout out to Katie and the other nurse that took over during my labor, the entire staff in the NICU 3 unit where my son stayed and the postnatal care unit where I was. They are very helpful and make the care of the patients Their #1 priority. Thank u Spring Valley Staff.

These guys were simply amazing! My Dad had a respiratory emergency when we arrived and they took it on like champs, working quickly and efficiently. One guy had me cracking up by putting some flair in his walk by spinning, please do not correct him of this behavior, and brightened up the room with his personality (I wish I could remember his name very nice gentleman, but he was in ER). The staff was very helpful and nice; I haven't trusted hospitals since I was a teen, but these guys showed me what a hospital should look like when doctors and nurses care about their patients. If we ever have another medical emergency or need a hospital, this is where we're going. Thank you guys so much, and my Dad is doing great!

Save your life and avoid at all costs. The staff here are absolute trash and dont care about you. None of them would answer basic questions. It took 3 hours on the bed to even get seen by a doctor for a severe case of food poisoning. Once the doctor actually he came he didnt answer our questions and gave the most generic response ever before just walking away. Literally heard on one of the nurses walkies that they got our payment so get us out as soon as possible. If I could I would give negative stars. I've heard similar cases with others how is this hospital still open.

The woman at the check-in counter wasn't very pleasant. My husband said something about the process being slow and she didn't like that. She made the other gentleman check us in and he explained why it took so long. She could have just done that instead of talking about us to the other patient she was checking in. Other than that the staff was exceptional. The surgery went smooth. Everything was great except her.

PREVIOUS REVIEW: I would give them zero stars if I could. The ER doctor I had altered an order form after I signed, selecting another piece of medical equipment I didn't receive. This is complete theft. Every department says it's not their problem and won't give me information to contact the doctor I saw. Avoid this place at all costs! They will overcharge you and give you no recourse. Edited to respond to the owner: I have already tried contacting the hospital through the contact form you provided, along with emailing the billing department. No one will respond to me. UPDATED REVIEW: They finally worked this situation out for me. It did take far too long, but I'm glad it's resolved. I'm leaving up my first review in case this happens to anyone else. Make sure you keep your receipts and you should be alright!

I was sent there by my primary care physician after I failed my pre-op testing for shoulder surgery. My chest xray showed some abnormality of my heart. They did not hesitate to give me a CT scan and keep me in for observation. A referral for follow up next day with a vascular surgeon. I will be returning next week for heart surgery. I have 20 years of medical work experience in various forms and this hospital is one of the best I've been to. All these stupid comments about ridiculous nonsense is just not beneficial. Thankyou to everyone in the ER for your tremendous work and knowledge and I will be back next week.
