Staff so was so nice to my daughter. Very caring and attentive. They brought her a warm blanket and gave her some candy for Christmas. Best experience ever.

The worst experience ever. We went to the ER because our son was in so much pain because of an ear infection and we stayed there for four excruciating hours. They did not deal with his pain at all, we had to ask several times for them to give him some ibuprofen. More like a clinic than an emergency room. The nurses and staff would talk about personal issues out loud with no care that there were people in pain. Very disorganized and dirty place. I can't speak for the hospital, but the ER is the worst ER I've ever been to.

First of all, the service is terrible. The people are nice but as a visitor you do not have blankets when feeling cold, no corner for your little children (or drunk boyfriends) and no couch to sleep on. The coffee machine was broken and the commercial is literally the whole night about beauty pills. When a friend of yours got drunk, needed to go to the hospital and you are one of the visitors waiting for your irresponsible friend to come clean, I would not recommend this hospital. Nethertheless, I give the emergency building 2 stars. We got free donuts and one time, a nurse made a foto of really drunk guys, playing with the weelchair. That was kind of funny. The room is decorated with two pictures and nice comfortable chairs. As a patient I can not say anything, but as a visitor I have one tip: Not a hotspot. If your friend gets wasted and he/she (trust me) will not realise where he/she is, be selfish and go to another hospital. Your welcome.

Amazing hospital and great staff. I had 2 of my children here and loved it! recently were loosing my grandfather. All of ththe nurses were amazing especially Dominique in ICU!! She made my heart melt when my grandfather would have an episode, she’d bend down and comfort him and call him papa!

Spring Valley ER needs someone that can manage department better. All the nurses will give you a different answer. Most of the nurses seems they are in the wrong field because they have a horrible attitude and to busy talking about what they are going to do when they get off work instead of taking care of there patients. Waited 3 hours for the doctor to discharge my mother. This is not a good look for a big hospital like this. If I was you I won’t bring anyone that is elderly because they will leave in more pain.

First let me confess that I am a terrible patient. Demanding, unreasonable, impatient, the worst. My experience at this hospital recently has given me new hope for the health care here in Las Vegas. The staff at this facility is amazing, and should be ranked with any other hospital in the country. I was admitted to the observation unit and was ready for my usual disappointment with our local health care facilities. Every person that I dealt with, from doctors, nurses, techs, or even the maintenance people i came across, all were astonishing professionals. Kind, courteous, and very attentive, I cannot say enough to properly describe the people who work in that department of this hospital. I assure you that when the need arises, I'll go no where else voluntarily. I also won't miss a chance to inform everyone I know of my opinion in the future.

Where is the negative stars?! My whole family has had issues with this hospital. My Grams was sent here from the VA by ambulance with all her paperwork. They lost it. Wanted to run all the same test on her. Placed her in the hallway. A tech got in my mother’s face when we told her it had been done all before by the VA. We checked her out of there right away. Turns out she was having a stroke in the back of her brain. Which if they would of read the paperwork they would have seen that. My mother 3 years ago almost died at this hospital. In ICU for 8 days after a hip replacement. Could not breath. I called the hospital since I was out of state and my family wasn’t at the hospital. They released all her info to me via phone without even knowing who I was. Big breech in hippa. I have personally waited in their ER before hooked to an IV in the waiting room for 6hrs. During that time the IV wasn’t even following into me. The IV wasn’t even nessacary as it turns out the reason my head felt float and I kept getting dizzy was due to my ears. I kept building fluid in them so bad I required ear tubes. This April I was in the hospital again. Why? I had blood clots in my lungs and knew the signs. The front desk looked at me crazy and wouldn’t believe me. When I was finally admitted to the hospital and after telling them if they are going to be doing an IV make sure you can get blood out now because you won’t be poking me anymore (bad veins) they didn’t listen. They kept trying to poke me over and over. I refused each time. I was also told multiple times the doctor will see you soon. Never showed up! I had to personally track down his clinic and fire him via phone. The new one assigned to me was just as bad. He ended up fired too. At one point when I was there I overheard a tech yelling at an older gentleman. Then talking trash behind his back. I called Patient services to file a complaint since when I got onto the tech for doing as such she got nasty with me too. Sadly they told it way too common during the day shift. The floor nurse ended up coming in my room and yelling at me for calling and reporting that. Telling me it should of been with her. Um no it needs to be logged into the system and not dealt with someone trying to save their butt. I also had issues with a medicine they gave me. No one would believe me it was even possible till I found the FDA’s most recent study on it saying it was possible. Even then they didn’t want to believe me. This last time I was at the hospital for blood clots in my lungs ago. I was sent from urgent care with my ct scan and all. They called before we got there even as they were sending us. Plus there was two of needing to be seen. They didn’t know anything about us coming. Then after my mother was checked in they completely ignored me till I finally said umm aren’t you going to check me in too? He had even looked at my paperwork and scans! During my time there this time I was not only mentally abused but physically. I still have bruises on my legs and arms from them. One nurse let power go to her head when I said I did not want blood work done and I wanted to stay with my mother. She place a very unnecessary and wrong legal hold on me. At one point she threatened me to either strip of my clothes including my underwear or she would personally cut them off me. Yet she would give me some weird mesh underwear. Umm what? Why can I have your mesh underwear yet I can’t wear my own? She lied to me about things my mother had said. About supposedly changing the room my mother went to (she was in the same room the whole time too). Said the doctor said it was okay to do the hold. Not what he said the next morning! He completely didn’t understand why I was on a hold because I wasn’t harmful to anyone including myself. I just wanted to be with my mother. The security team just mocked me the whole time. When they got my wallet finally they went through it. One of the security members even tried to pocket my cash at one point. However someone came into the room right as she almost did it. It was awful

I was in town for vacation and had a major asthma attack. Forgot my meds back at home smh. I got to er and immediately they took vitals and got me to room to start treatment. Great hospital with with great people.

Rushed in needing medical attention for head trauma for my infant son. Nobody there to greet me. Stood at check in desk for at least 5 minutes. Finally had someone ask if they could help. Told her my situation and she told me to fill out a 5 question paper. When I finished there still wasn't anyone to collect it. An employee raced by and I tried to hand it to her and she said "just leave it on a desk" Nobody cared about my baby's needs. Nobody told me how long the wait would be. Nobody even LOOKED at me OR my baby. We walked out and will never go back.

This hospital and the staffing were wonderful, I had surgery here on the 27th for a cyst removal while I was there the staff made sure I was okay to my doc coming in & checking in my only request will be when being in the recovery room we had no chairs or something for some one to over stay my husband was staying overnight since I was going to be there untill Sunday night but I was concerned where he was gonna sleep but thanks to the nurse who found him a recliner chair♡ over all the hospitality here was great

Where is the minus 5 Star?????? I have a Nephew who is an addict and has been dealing with this for many years. I understand that this is in fact a life sentence to everyone involved. However I do not believe that any medical personnel has the right to treat anyone with so little respect that dogs get treated better then Humans. I just had my nephew call and ask to be let out since he has been on hold in the holding unit since Sunday. The staff has been very helpful and I understand how working with Irate patients is difficult but when they get on the phone and start yelling at me because I am asking a simple question as to when he will get transferred to the Las Vegas Mental Health Hospital its been 6 Days as he lays there half the time in the hall way like a dog. . Everytime I ask they keep saying I DON'T KNOW. Well find out! Do your job and call there. People are human and have feelings even Drug addicts. I'm out of the state and can't get out there you would think that they could show a little compassion to people in general or get out of that line of work! I want someone who reads this to reply with a person that I can report a nurse from ER. Her name is TINA and refused to give me her last Name.

Been here since 8:30 and nothing no room and its 11:10 I ask about my daughter they told me. Oh they stole the bed that was soppost to be for her still wait.she is freezing out here in the waiting area.

The emergency room is horrible here. You will be stuck here for 8+ hours minimum. Do yourself a favor and go to another hospital that can actually get things done and not have you wait 3 hours for a CT scan.

Went to the ER for my 3month old son for head trauma, and ER staff ignored me. After 15min I finally waved someone down and they had me fill out a form that took 2 seconds to fill out. When we were finished there was to take our check in slip. Left and went to Sunrise Childrens Hospital

The nurses in the emergency department should be given medals for the difficult obvious shortage of beds equipment and support. Ben is amazing and when my husband finally got admitted again the nurses are excellent. They need to expand e r badly
