Don't go here. They are a for profit hospital, they nit not care even a little about you or your health i went into the emergency room and was just fed a bunch of drugs and not even the ones I actually needed and now suffering withdrawals from them i want given proper info before taking these. they will drug you and send you off that's all. Seriously disapprove of this place.

Honestly if I could give this a less rating I would. By far the worse experience from the check in, to the doctors, and everything in between. I would rather drive to the next hospital then ever come here again. I’m sorry for all of those who don’t have a choice.

This hospital deserves no stars. My girlfriend went to this hospital for pain she was feeling in her ear. The name of this doctor “helping” her is Doctor Miguel and the “Doctor” comes up with his long hair not even tied back, already a bad impression. The “doctor” has her lay on the table and my girlfriend tells him that she thinks she has a perforated ear drum because she’s feeling pain and can not hear anything. The “Doctor” then looks in her ear and sees something in it. He decides that it might be a piece of cotton and he tells me girlfriend “okay we might not have the right tools for this” and then picks up a pair of long tweezers. He then goes to try and pull the “cotton” multiple times out of her ear and causing her incredible pain and discomfort. He then tries to wet the ear to flush it out which you’re not supposed to do with a perforated eardrum. We asked him how it looks and he just responds with “it looks wet”. He then proceeds to try and rip it out and has my girlfriends mother hold the flash light for him while she is trying to maneuver it around is long hair that he doesn’t have tied back. We mention to the “doctor” that she is a musician and ask if this could damage her hearing and he replied with “yeah that’s a possibility” and proceeds to try and pull this out of her ear causing her intense and incredible pain. After my girlfriend gave up because of the pain he pushed to let him try it again. A week later she went to an ENT. The ENT figured out it was an ear fungus and if “doctor” Miguel tried to rip it out, like he was, he would’ve destroyed her eardrum. I would never go to this place the doctors are terrible and they still demand for your money. Never go here.

below stars review. this Hospital is the worst ever. I called and called trying to contact the radiology. they never answer the phone. even the main hospital didn't answer the first 3 or 4 times I called. I finally got hold of a live body and ask what the hours were for radiology and if we needed an appt. they again transferred me to radiology where no on bothered to pick up the phone. after an hour of steady calling I got the answers I needed. we showed up to get x-rays. the nurse at the front desk stared at us like we crawled out of the sewer. we had interrupted her gossip session with another nurse. we were told that we could not get x-rays without a diagnosis. as I have always understood it .. x-rays are a diagnostic tool. you can't get a diagnosis without the x-ray. .. the nurse stared and stared some more. no help what so ever. we finally gave up and went to St George. they got us right in and we got the needed x-rays. .. If you dying, call for an ambulance or life flight and go to St George or Las Vegas. you won't get any help here.

10 years ago, I ended up being admitted into the ICU unit. I, personally, felt that I was under the best care. The doctor and staff, at the time, were very caring and professional. I'm a diabetic, ended up in keto 2 days before I was supposed to get married. Small story short, the hospital let my husband and I get married in the ICU, because I was unable to leave. They baked a cake and everything! Talk about going above and beyond! I am forever grateful for the care I was given.

Hubby was NPO for a stress test and he had to wait nearly forever afterwards to eat again after persistent questioning the staff when will the results be in? And then they placed his tray of food by his door when he still couldn't eat. This hospital needs to learn healthcare from their neighbor in st george utah..

Absolutely the worst hospital I have ever been to spent 4-1/2 hours to find out my daughter had the flu and they gave her a flu shot. Charged us 1200 dollars and then once we paid that rediculous bill got another bill from the doctor for another 1200 and refused to give us an itemized invoice. I wonder why???? 2400 for an antibiotic Horrible experience if you can make it go anywhere else! drive 20 miles to Saint George and run from this hospital absolutely unethical and rediculous!

You might want to take out a second mortgage before you decide to make a visit to this hospital. I went in for a pain in my lower right side and im still getting billed for medical services months later. They did tests that were not needed. Cat scans range from 900 to 1800 most hospitals..4500 at mesa view when a 400 ultra sound would have been fine. Separate $2000 emergency doctor bill,plus $2000 just to walk in the door. Ijust received a $300 bill from a radiology lab months later for reading the scan.You would think that when the $2000 Doctor said it was ok that would be fine but no, more hands in the cookie jar.Almost $10000 for a strain in my back. Go to St. George. Way more honest. They will let you know what, why ,and how much before you get ripped off.

This hospital is pretty good for a small town hospital. Staff are super nice and seem to actually care about the patients. I'm glad that we have this hospital in Mesquite.

I had a knee replacement removed and replaced by Dr. Manning. The facility was clean and the staff were friendly. A big surprise was the quality of the food. It was the best hospital food I ever ate. Most importantly the surgery was a total success and I was discharged sooner than I expected. I live in Los Vegas, but it was worth the drive and I will be using this hospital for future procedures.

Never good service for myself or either of my family members, the only thing they can treat are minor scratches , and if you get something in your eye, i would recommend driving to st. george in any serious emergency as they will just life flight you there anyways as they can not treat anything more then a cut or a broken finger. they treat you like your putting them out when you go to the er or treat you like your dumb and shouldnt have came there. i wouldnt have even gave them one star but there wasnt a opttion... save your self wasted time and go to st george..

The time I’ve been there they always come back with nothing , but when I go to a different hospital in Vegas they always find out what’s wrong.So, I’ve been having sever lower back pain along with mild fevers that have been going on for three days. I had no choice but to go to the ER here .I waited for at least an hour to get called , all they did was take a urine sample . Which took another hour! The doctor came in and said that there was nothing , didn’t know where my fevers are coming from and discharged me , now I have to wait, when I’m in a whole lot of pain , to go to my primary doctor instead .

For a small rural hospital Mesa View does the best they can with what they have to work with. The staff is overall very professional and courteous. If you need more advanced care then consider a larger hospital in St George or Las Vegas. Mesa View is a great place to start tho.

My Five stars rating is based on comparative small hospitals. This is a small town hospital, yet the services and people are excellent. You won't find the size and depth of medical staff you would in a larger place, but the people and treatment here are first class! ER and ICU nursing staff would be hard to beat anywhere.

Horrible place! They sued me for an ER visit bill that I was slowly working on paying off. Charged over $1500 for one ER visit for asthma treatment. They get one star for some staff that are good but if can wait go to St. George or Las Vegas for treatment.

Absolutely wonderful staff! The best care ever. From admission to discharge, this was hands down, the best hospital experience ever. Everything was explained beforehand by the nurses and the doctor took the time to make sure I understood the procedure from start to finish. The PACU nurses, Jean and Ryan were outstanding. The OR nurses, Judy, Sam and Jon were amazing. Dr Hahm made sure I understood the procedure and did a wonderful job. I'm a retired nurse and I've had my share of sub par hospital experiences in other facilities. I'm happy to say this was one of the best.

They don't care about their patients at all, they just care about sucking as much money out of you as much as possible. And some of their staff are very rude and don't want to help you right away. You are better off going to St. George or to Vegas, you'll be 100 times better taken care of there.

Don't go there. They gave me a shot that caused a reaction and then tried to cover up that they even did so. Fortunately, I have records of it. When I was in the ER having a reaction to the shot, they sent a social worker into my room to try to tell me I wasn't given anything that could have caused a reaction. They did that rather than treat the reaction. I then realized I would do better to go self treat with Benadryl on my own and had to ask to be discharged in the middle of having a reaction. What a difficult night that was. And that's on top of some other things.

Superb care in Emergency with correct, tests and protocols. Hospital stays provided the best care and attention. For a for-profit small regional hospital Mesa View Regional Hospital has "been there" in the most professional way for us.

3 year old daughter dislocated her elbow around 10 am on a Sunday. Was admitted to ER within 10 minutes of arrival, total visit was maybe just over an hour. Seems like a reasonable hospital to me.

Took my husband to the ER for severe knee pain said he hadn't injured it that we knew of. They did do an ultrasound for a blood clot negative and an xray. The doctor came in and said well it's not broken no kidding! Gave him naproxen and said go see your primary care. Hello we've already told you we are here for the winter 3 times our primary care is 6 hours away.So after at least 4 hours the knwe is worse now. What a waste of time and don't know how much money! So can't say much except I guess unless you're bleeding or on your death bed they're no help.

The proper medical care isn't given. They are very slow, unconcerning, with poor attitude by the staff. They are very helpful in letting you know that St. George, Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada has more resources; and can offer more.

It's a hospital, yes but is it a good one? Maybe for a paper cut or a splinter, it seems like every time I go they don't seem to even know what's happening, the only good doctor there is Dr. Johnson Even when he works there im still uneasy going there having them mess something up or not do a good job, they do have friendly staff but on multiple occasions I've had things happen like getting bruised from a new person learning how to do an IV and being told that they assume I have a viral infection and all the symptoms are not even similar to the ones I had, so yes it's a hospital but I feel a lot better going up to St. George then going to the hospital here.

Doesn't matter how much pain your in, I had acute abdominal pain, couldn't hardly stand and waited half hour before doctor saw me and got pain med. 2 ct scans later and all they said is it wasn't kidneys and it wasn't cancer. So what the hell is it? They didn't have an answer. What a joke! Not to mention, you can hear all the nurses at the nurses station gossiping and don't bother to do their job. When the ct tech came to get me after at least an hour after the doctor gave me the pain med iv, asked if they got a urine sample yet? I said I haven't seen a nurse since they brought me in and hooked me up to the machine. He just shook his head and showed me to the restroom to get a sample. What a friggin waste of time!

Unfriendly staff. Doctors really don't treat you like they give a care. If you need to be treated for something just go 40 miles north on i15. You will get far better service there. Never again going to mesa view or any associated offices.

Be careful if you have loved ones! I lost consciousness and was transported to Mesa View Regional. They were informed in the ER that I have a rare neurological disorder by my mother. Yet they administered an overdose agent (harmless - thankfully), but the doctor looked at me like garbage after I had regained consciousness on my own. I didn't overdose, but is that what a "God Complex" looks like in action?

One of the BEST hospitals that I’ve been to. After moving to Mesquite, I ended up having a number of medical issues to deal with, including a trip to the ER. The admittance staff is friendly and efficient and the medical staff is the best. I am SO glad that I moved here. I have no doubts about the quality of my medical care. I know I will be well taken care of.

WORST wanna be hospital I've ever been to. I went in for a simple stomach flu out the door 1400$ later no tests done no blood work nothing. Complete ripoff this place is here solely to highway rob you if your sick. Nurses are ruder then I've ever seen. DO NOT GO HERE SAVE YOUR MONEY!!

This hospital is only for big money..IF you are poor and only on Medicare, you will be harassed for your 20% and denied treatment if sent to a collection agency. Emergency room will only treat you for life stablizing conditions and send you on your way..Go to Dixie ..Much more receptive. Private hospitals are for MONEY only....

My experience with Mesa View Hospital was 5 star all the way. I was there for 9 days. Housekeeping, dietary, nursing, physical therapy are all A+! I found each employee that entered my room in those 9 days to be efficient and caring. I NEVER waited more than 90 seconds for anything. Charlie is a real asset to dietary. Leeanne, Vilma, Jason, Lynn, Becca are the best nurses ever! Mike from housekeeping always made sure he hadn't moved anything out of my reach. The aides anticipated all my needs and acted quickly. I wish I could mention everyone but space doesn't allow. Everyone involved in my care deserves applause.

The lack of care and consideration that I recently experienced in the emergency room still has my head shaking. Dr on at the time was less that caring!!! (won't mention the name yet) After taking my adult son in for acute abdominal pain (the rolling on the floor type of pain), he was sent home with drugs. 24 hours later, back in the emergency room with Dr. Johnson, who is great by the way, and my son is literally dying. How could they miss a perforated colon, 24 hours prior??? Taken by ambulance to Dixie where in less than 1 hour was in emergency surgery to save his life. Who dropped the ball on this one?

0 STARS. This is the scariest place you could ever take a loved one to in a time of a healthcare need. My Mom was admitted with an existing condition of ALS and showing symptoms of Pneumonia. This hospital selfishly tried to keep her in their care knowing that they didn’t have the clinical expertise to help. She went completely unresponsive after 2 days at this hospital and was life flighted to a legitimate critical care hospital, after push back from the staff - which is absolutely sickening. It screamed desperation for revenue, at the expense of someone’s life. Shame on you.

I'm being generous with 1 star. This hospital sucks! I half expect it to double as a vet clinic. Or tumbleweeds blowing around. I went there 3 times and was doped up and sent home. Went to an unrelated appointment with my surgeon in Vegas and she put me in the hospital for 4 days. I had to go back to this ER because it was after hours and the nurse remembered me and said she doesn't know why I keep coming there since they can't help me. My Vegas surgeon told me to go there! The doctor's and staff, aside from 2 nurses, are horrible, rude, lazy and incompetent. No imaging can be done after hours or on weekends?! What is that about? I won't go again, even for a paper cut. Ridiculous waste of time
