Is it possible to give ZERO starts??? This place smells so bad and the staff is not pleasent. I was looking for a place for my father and it will NOT be this place.

Not informative, they make you take your own meds. I might as well be home.. some staff are great others tend to thier favorites and you have to wait for them to even get to you.. I have both good and bad for this place and this is my first time coming...

I was here for a 3 weeks and had a good experience. They have experienced teams that work with you most days. Their wound care team is amazing and helped me greatly.

My father was transfer to this facility on June 1st and was trasfer to valley hospital with a severe anemia kidney failer and a horrible infection on his wound that he need it to be amputeted again the nurses were nice all the time or maybe only the time we were there visiting dad from day one I never meet a doctor only the nurse was on the site all times untill the day dad need it to be transfer i saw the doctor a guy look more like he was at a bar than a care facility all the shirt untaked looking so gero well the place too, smell ugly and discusting my dad room mate had 6 or 8 months he has not taking a shower and smoked like chimeny the guy was durty and had the TV on 24/7 how can you put a guy with an open wound with a person like this also the pillos did not have a pillow case or if they did were durty also the cover sheet of the bed had some poop that looked like they did not clean dad properly please before your love one need to be send to any of the facilities arroound town investigate before they get to be send to any.

The nursing staff was amazing and the doctors were kind and informative. I am especially complimentary of the staff. From my consultation to my post-op appointments, they have been friendly, helpful, accommodating, and have educated me through the entire process, which I very much appreciate being a healthcare provider myself.

My dad works there and they have good housekeeping and nurses there. My dad gets paid good money and i never hear complaints about Horizon.

No way would I take any of my FAMILY there. Unsanitary practices. Some of the nurses are mad if you ask them for anything reguarding your loved one . Don't they know people read reviews? He was medicated the whole time.

I had my father here for 4 months while recuperating from a stroke, I honestly tell you that when I read all the bad reviews prior of bringing him here, I decided to give them a call and ask just to see and check what their explanation for all those "bad reviews" was. Their explanation was ; please don't believe them and just come and see yourself. Well, from the bottom of my heart let me tell you...if you have a love one sick DO NOT BRING HIM HERE PLEASE, starting with the doctors; they don't look like doctors, one of the ones looking for my dad did not speak English well at all, very hard to understand and never see him touching or feeling my dad he would just come and speak a little about condition of my dad then leave. My dad past away at this location because he developed a septic blood infection when they send him to the emergency hospital the real doctors first question was " How long has he had this infection because is too late to save him.

My mother was transported to this facility a week ago. As of today they still do NOT have 3 of her prescriptions. I called her this am and now there is no clean linen for the patients. My sister and I have already made complaints about 2 of the assistants (Mona and Monique). The Charge Nurse Debbie Dalley is amazing. There are a lot of upgrades being done to the facility so hopefully it will bring a better atmosphere to the workers. This place is very under staffed and the ones who are there to work are dealing with way too much. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

My mom was at Horizon for a couple of months when she arrived she was in very very critical condition from having a server stroke . Me and my brother got to know the nursing staff and they knew how concerned we were for my mom. There was a couple of bumps in the road getting to know each other initially but they quickly got about the business of carrying for my ailing mom. They paid a lot of attention to my mom, they kept her clean and explained everything to us when we asked. We were there every day so we got to know many of them, they did a real good job. They were extremely helpful with the paper work for my mother applying for medicaid, even after my mother left the facility, the medicaid specialist Tara continued to assist us with the process and that was a big help for us. My mom's case manager for Horizon was Ingrid and she was a big help as well in helping us understand how insurance companies work and she also help us find a long term facility that was closer to where me and my brother lived which was great. This was a very stressful time for us but the staff there made it much more understandable and we got through it much better with them. This is a good company and I'm glad they were there to help us. My mother was at this place once.when my mom was just about to leave the staff stole all her expensive belongings and claimed that they couldn't find it.the staff has really bad attitudes. NEVER COME HERE.

place under police investigation of temporary agency c. n. a. slapping my helpless 76 yr old wife. employees both under metro investigation. now hostile environment an no longer do they let me in to see my wife except visiting hours. A big change from before. also they waited 2 days before calling police. they tried to have her interviewed by police without family member present. tryed to claim her mind was altered. big mistake. didn't even notify me, her husband, of police coming until 2 days later. something bad is going on here. I have to get her out. I think i need a lawyer.

As a patient for Horizon Specialty for about two months, I found the care of the entire staff including the nurses, doctors, physical therapy,and social worker to be exceptional. They helped me in every way to get me back on my feet. I would highly recommend this hospital on your path to recovering your health. JK

Place is horrible you can't get bathed. My grandma got pneumonia cuz they where not giving her her breathing treatments and just giving her dry oxygen nobody looks happy the smell is horrible I can under stand the place is old but everything is so dirty three suppose to be helping my grandma get her strength back in her legs witch doesn't happen and they barely work out her arms please don't let your loved ones go there for their own safety and well being

I spent 20 days post-op from a LBKA at this facility. The staff was excellent. I was treated very nicely. I would recommend this facility to anyone that needs rehab.

I was never so disappointed in any care facility as I was this place. Some of the staff cared about my husbands care but others were there to collect a paycheck. Physical therapy was a total joke. The food was terrible. I had to bring in drinks (Crystal Light) and yogurt for snacks for my husband to enjoy in the early morning or evening. Because of prostate issues my husband in incontinent. What made it worse for him was he has a wound vac on his foot and could not put weight on it. So going to the bathroom was difficult. He had a commode next to his bed but he still needed assistance to get up. He had none. He called for the nurse to help him and was told she would be right back but never came back. There were several nights he would call me and let me know he had been sitting in wet clothes for hours on end. By the way he did come home with four pressure sores on the backs of his legs. I would never, never recommend this place again.

Really good experience at this facility. If you need to be in a long term setting, this is a good place where they try to understand your condition. I've been here for a month and they have meet all my needs. The doctors and nurses have taken good care of me and I'm happy with my experience. Thanks all Horizon Specialty staff!

They don't keep the patients clean and don't keep their promises....Told My brother they'd do therapy 5 times a week to get back on his feet...Didn't do it. Because of Obumner care he was plopped into this facility because his coverage was severely lacking and was charged over $300 a month...Try calling them....They don't answer their phones....and I often get couldn't complete your call at this time...Now my brother is in the hospital because of mrsa.from having no wound care and improper handling ...Also the food is not cooked but warmed up from the microwave....The picture in google is not the one by Valley hospital
