At first the staff seemed really great. When my Father was 1st transferred here, he was able to speak. Soon after arriving he got a blood infection he was shaking so bad hold and cold he would get, this made him very weak, so they had to put him back on the breathing machine. When he started recovering we decided to have him write down his wants and needs. To have him communicate. He has pages and pages, where he has written "Call my daughter " because they are mistreating and not meeting his needs. He wrote a few days ago, they are so inhumane. Also while my Mother and sister were visiting they were watching an episode of Cops and a perp was slammed into the top of the car, my Pops wrote on his piece of paper "That me" saying how they treat him. He says they are so rough, a Respiratory tech came in 1 day didnt even introduce herself and a min later walked out while my Dad was choking. When he was able to compose himself he wrote in his sheet of paper please ask her to never walk away when someone is choking. There are a select few that are really great and actually love what they do, and then there are the ones that just think of it as a paycheck. They make up alot of false accusations to justify their actions for instance my Fad had a stroke his left hand just regained movement. What is the reason his left hand is restrained it is very weak. I walked in on Saturday his call light was up way behind him on the wall where he couldn't even reach it. He says 1 Nurse in particular is very mean, says she is mad at him because she always has to come in and straighten him up I'm his bed because of the stroke making his left side weak, he always falls over 5o his left. I walked in 1 day to that same Nurse saying "No, I'm not going to keep coming in here straightening you up, you re to heavy, you're hurting my back. Ugh, the way the treat him and ignore his request makes me so angry, I wish I could be there with him at all times. I am eventually going to do a grievance I'm just documenting everything I can rt now and going to use his notebook as my recorded documentation. The treatment is horrendous. He was on dialysis one day, I walked in and he had soiled himself, the dialysis tech looked at me and said yeah I know, I've called them and asked to change him, he said it's been about 2 hours since he 1st asked...
