3rd time here and everytime we wait 6 hours for absolutely nothing. Go to Green Valley ER.

This is the worst hospital I have ever been to. My niece was in the Adrian tower rm 420. They are all incompetent. No one knows whats going on. I was told I could pick her up and then told that I could not pick her up. I drive 40 minutes across rown just to be told I could not pick up. The people a mentally unstable.

Don’t take your dying dog here. Migraine patient put in two different rooms put in a hall gurney. Gabe took 3 shots to start a IV so staff doesn’t not only plays musical rooms is also incompetent on starting a IV. Sunrise Hospital is bad but don’t know how this is any better. Mountain View is a further drive but have never seen their staff incompetent. The staff I wonder if they got their licenses from a Cracker Jack boxer what.

Extremely disorganized staff and operation they have going on here. My wife (way overdue) was scheduled to be induced for delivery at 7:30 PM, then it changed to 10 PM, then it changed to "unknown, we'll call you when we have more info", and no clue when they could be calling back for us to head in. In other words, it seems they're fine with a pregnant woman having to stay up all night waiting for a call that may or may not happen in the middle of the night. We had to escalate with our doctor and got into Henderson Hospital instead at midnight to start the process. Finally received a callback at 730 AM from St. Rose... That's 12 hours past the scheduled time! After speaking to the head nurse she tells us technically we weren't scheduled, we were on a waiting list. Really? Save yourself the headache and go to Henderson Hospital instead, extremely friendly staff and fantastic modern facility.

Nobody (except perhaps an expecting mother) really desires to go to the hospital. But when we have to go, we choose to go here over other hospitals in the valley. — We have had several reasons over the last year and a half to visit this hospital. We have experience with the maternity ward, NICU, pediatrics, surgery wing (including pre and post op), rehabilitation, ER, and cafeteria. Given the wide variety of encounters and transactions we have had with them, this review will stay broad. The hospital itself is well maintained and updated with decent, recent equipment. The rooms are generally spacious and comfortable. The nurses we mostly interact with are well trained and easy to communicate with. Staff of all varieties seem to exude “human kindness” at every level, from surgeons (yes I understand the doctors are independent contractors, and not technically staff), down to the janitors. The food in the cafeteria is reasonably priced, and generally flavorful, but if you are just craving something else, there are lots of other options close by. Is there room for improvement? Sure. But they are improving in little ways every day. It is still one of the best, if not the best, hospital in the valley.

I gave birth to my son here last July 2016 and I had an amazing stay. Everyone was taking care of me and my family. The nurses were great. Their security was great, my baby had an alarm where if someone took him, they will be notified. I was never separated from my baby, the time I gave birth until I moved to our room. He was always with me. Everyone was supportive and if I have a baby again, I wouldn't go anywhere else but here.

twice I have brought a friend here to have heart stints put in and was told they would keep me informed as to how she was doing and so far neither time have they let me know anything and it would be nice to know because of my time frame for I need to know how she is doing and if she will be going home..

Been checked into this hospital for two days now and still haven’t seen/talked to my doctor, nor have I been told why I’m still here. Worst hospital experience in my life. I’ve asked my nurses about 12 times when I’m leaving, who I can talk to about leaving, and no one has given me options. I haven’t even been offered to fill out an AMA form, Instead just told that they need the doctor to come around and verify that it’s okay to leave. But apparently there’s no doctor in this hospital that can see me, and again, it’s been two days.

Back in Oct I rushed to the ER because I was bleeding heavy, at the time I was 20 weeks pregnant. I sat in the ER for 6hrs as I watched a new wave of patients come in to be seen. All I had done was blood work in the lobby. I was so unhappy with the service and not being seen I left the ER lobby and went to a different hospital. Today I have received a $7,288 bill for sitting in the lobby and having blood work. I am currently in the process of speaking with a lawyer regarding my bill and the service. The hospital I went to after leaving stated I had a miscarriage. Horrible service and the hisphosp needs to be reevaluated.

Absolutely horrible. Very bad for mental care. Very bad communication. Very bad hospital.

I do not recommend this place. Friendly staff at the front desk, attractive hospital. I think they have good doctors as well. However... First, THEY DIDN'T TELL ME THEY DIDN'T TAKE MY INSURANCE. They took my info like it was all good; I paid my copay and all seemed in order but they omitted to tell me that I wasn’t insured there instead made me sign a waiver (while I thought I was dying mind you). Then they gave me a pill that I wrote in my patient docs I was allergic to. (They're lucky if I don't sue them for negligence). They don't take most insurances so make sure you call yours before going there if you can help it, or do the homework ahead of time. Their staff is made of contractors that sold me to collections without notice, even after I called the number on the bill early-on to let them know I was in the process of an appeal with my insurance, so they are NOT organized. The staff is awesome but don't be fooled by the company's claims of Christian values and of "human kindness". At the end of the day, they are greedy capitalists just like everyone else. For example: I was charged over $800 on an item that the state deems should cost $23. They also gave me a pill and made me drink it in front of them without telling me what it was or asking if I wanted it. All it did is make me very high and giggly and sleepy and didn't even stop any pain. ALSO, they put me in a room across from the waiting room so whenever the nurse would come in or out, people outside could see me laying down without my pants on. I was very uncomfortable, and at the end of they day I'm still expected to pay $8000. To top it off, I had been in regular contact with them about my appeals to my insurance but they still sent my account to collections. Absolute cruelty. I hope people stop going there and that they shut down.

In the last five years I have been to this hospital multiple times, from my husband’s injury to the birth of my two children, to my baby having to be hospitalized for a week two weeks after birth. I’ve had good experiences and okay ones. This time my mother had to be hospitalized for more than three weeks and to say the least we have had an awful experience. In the ICU we had a nurse walk in the room swearing not realizing I was there, to another nurse accidentally pulling the drain from her abscess (we are still dealing with those consequences). Now the case manager’s lack of productivity or racism want to send her to an after care living facility that is very far from us and is not the best quality when there’s one five minutes from us that has beds available and take her insurance. Staying here has been a constant battle of looking for kind staff that actually do their job. We have to be constantly on top of the medical care because they drop the ball and are not kind or apologetic about it.

rochelle0251

I was there this past Friday, Sept. 28., for a total of 6 hours. Firstly, the waiting room is always freezing. Most of the people waiting to be seen asked for and were wrapped in blankets. Very very uncomfortable. Secondly, you need a better system to advise patients when the will see the doctor. I know we all need to be tested, but I waited two hours after all the tests to see the doctor. Again, why?

This was one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had with medical staff. My daughter was taken to the ER at Sunrise where she had to become admitted but our insurance didnt cover Sunrise so we were transferred here I was nervous at 1st with it being a small hospital and pretty far. As soon as we arrived the nurses were so kind they constantly kept checking on me to make sure I was ok, and they were so gentle with my daughter to make sure she was not terrified. The doctor was also amazing and incredibly kind she would call and do check ups on my daughter even when she wasnt in the hospital. We ended up spending a week. And I have even transferred my daughters info to a pediatrician in this complex and will come back again if need be.

Vi. LI

They have the worst care for any sort of pediatric emergency. My toddler had 5 ER visits for seizures and we were sent home each time with a don’t worry he is fine feeling. It wasn’t until the 5th visit I literally had to force the ER doctor to transfer us to another facility. Our pediatrician also got on the phone and spoke with the doctor several times to help us get transferred as well. After we were transferred to another hospital my son spent nearly a week hospitalized. He was diagnosed and treated and hasn’t had another seizure since. If your child has any sort of emergent or serious problems going on I would think twice before going here.

Kathleen Joseph

It's ridiculous in this day and age that sick people have to wait so long to receive "emergency" treatment. Literally, there is a staff member here right now dressed with an orange shirt, standing on one side of the room and just shouting people's names out to have the walk over to her to be registered. Between the bellowing of the person registering patients to the fact that there is no spot to sit where you don't feel like you may actually be sicker from sitting in that room than you were before you walked in. They are quick to ask you about insurance coverage and to inform you about how you will be charged for your visit, but that is the extent of the urgency anyone exhibits. The other techs (x-ray, ekg, etc) at the very least tray you humanely, but I don't know if they're just overworked, but you start to wonder if they're just doing their best to process as many people as possible as the waiting room gets more and more full as the time passes. Clearly, if you're just not "feeling well" it may just be better to stay home and be treated as if you've been forgotten. Or maybe just go to another hospital.

Vanessa La'Tei

Their whole ck in process isn’t right ... you have to go to 6 DIFFERENT-rooms for ck in, insurance, labs, ekg, xrays, vitals, before you’re even see by a PA. Each time you come out of one room after doing ONE thing you have to wait at least an hr for the next. Not organized at ALL.

Charles Williams

This has literally been one of the worst experiences we've had when it comes to hospitals and empathy from doctors and nurses. It seems like the entire time from entering the emergency room up to making it to our room, we felt as though we were just a number and an insurance pickup rather than an actual patient. they have signs everywhere asking about how do we feel or what do we care about the fact that your doctors and nurses and staff all walk around this place with no empathy or sympathy or actual care about whatever ailment we have. Case in point one of the staff members was trying to force us to do physical therapy when we had not been given proper instructions on whether or not it was sound from the doctor. As a result of her trying to move my girlfriend's leg which was badly damaged my girlfriend said she felt her knee click oddly. After that my girlfriend started screaming loudly in pain and I started getting upset that her pain was being caused unnecessarily and we just got the sense that the entire nursing staff did not give a s*** about her pain. honestly and truly if you don't care about people don't become a nurse or a doctor because eventually will begin to show. and I truly feel the people in this hospital are here to just do a job and not administer healthcare and medicine!

Arlo Hurst

This is the most unprofessional medical staff I have ever experienced. I have never heard so many people complain how they can't do something because the are so backed up and over worked. The nurse and Doctor did not have a clue which patient the were prescribing the correct meds to or the symptoms you came in with several times the nurse started to issue the wrong meds along with hooking up the wrong IV solution. What has happened to our Health System.

We went to th ER at San Martin in SW Vegas, taken right in, and x-rayed for my daughter's broken arm. She needed surgery that day and was quickly transported to the Siena location. From the ER, treatment, transport, surgery, and recovery we were back at home within 12 hours. She was so well taken care of, as were we. Caring staff and friendly doctors. Very pleased.

I have gone to this hospital twice before and received great care, but today it was such a mess. No body seemed to know what was going on or what to do. Although, everyone was super nice the doctor was not taking me seriously. All he did was give me pain killers and sent me home. He didn't even check me and didn't want to do any test. I even told him what if something was seriously wrong since I was in a lot of pain, but he just brushed my concerns off. He totally had me in tears. I was shocked at the way he handle my situation. The nurse on the other hand was so nice and try her best to speak to the doctor on my behalf. It seemed like the doctor was in a hurry to return to some training or meeting they were all having in the emergency room. Not to mention the insane amount I had to pay for little to no medical treatment. So disappointed!

If any of you need to go to a hospital, DO NOT go to St. Rose Dominican Hospital. The nurses are completely negligent and simply just flat out ignore you. They didn't ask me proper routine questions, until I answered for them when I saw they wouldn't. I don't know how these people got their degrees, but clearly they don't know what they are doing. I was laying on a bench, crying in pain, and NOT ONCE did someone ask if I was okay. Dozens of nurses and doctors walked by...not a word. Oh and one of the most common/important question important is to rate your pain on a scale of 1-10. In case you nurses at st. Rose were curious, it was at an 8. Don't work in the medical field I'd you're not willing to DO YOUR JOB.

Cort Johnson

This hospital should have a sign in neon lights warning patients they are about to be gashed within an inch of their life. I walked in with sudden onset severe lightheadedness - something a medical website stated should be seen in an emergency room - and no more than 5 minutes with a doctor and few tests walked out with a bill for almost $2500... and I have excellent insurance. I gasped at the cost. I NEVER would have come in if I knew that was going to be the outcome. Beware!

Karla Tuck

My stay at this hospital was great. I had to stay for a week and they treated me like royalty. I had gallstones and had to get them removed and my gallbladder and it was done quickly and great. When I was in pain they gave me good pain medication and it took my pain away very quickly. My stay there was great because of one specific nurse who was nurse Beaytle. She was super nice and kind. Every time I needed something she was there for me in the splint of a second. I highly recommend this place. By the way I stayed in the Pediatric ICU Wing.

Peds er was ok. But a nurse named Alana was the worst. She talked about getting wasted at drais nightclub. She cussed at us! She handled our toddler to rough multiple times. She took the longest of everyone there. We were there 4 times in 11 days. She was there twice, and very rude both times. She likes to roll her eyes a lot also. I can't believe she has a job as a nurse! Everyone else was very helpful!

Jerry Burdick

Overall the experience was better that I expected. The health system is very broken and I understand that. The reason I give 5 stars for this hospital is because of 1 person and I believe he needs to be recognized. Charlie the nurse absolutely crushed it!! My wife had an emergency appendectomy and and when she finally got to her room Charlie made the patient, the family, and everyone feel good. He knows his job and does it in stellar fashion. When the relief crew came in... just not the same. Professionals like this deserve all the recognition they can get!! Thanks again Charlie!!

Unbelievably WONDERFUL. From the front security staff that assisted me in finding my husband that came in by ambulance; to nurse (May) in the ER, that not only took care of my husband, but matter-of-fact laid out what needs to change in his life to make better choices and become engaged in his own well-being. Truly caring and professional group of individuals that want their patients to participate in their own future health. THANK YOU for taking care of the Henderson community.

Rhonda

Crazy long wait. Absolutely NO point in preregistering online for a time.

tecnoklaus

Do not come here.. As with the previous post, this hospital will not confirm your insurance coverage. Also, I witnessed an elderly women in pain, no pain management offered after pleading from her family. I am now anticipating a bill for a doctor visit I never had, because I made the mistake of giving my personal information upfront. I left and went to Spring Valley hospital, no problems there.

Katrina Maves

This emergency room is the most disorganized ER I’ve ever seen. I brought my dad in today and every time he was taken back not a minute would go by and someone else was calling for him. Then once all of his test were done we waited for 3 hours to get any results. Ive had wonderful experiences at this hospital in the past but today was a mess, and it wasn’t as busy as I’ve seen it in the past.

My brother had a stroke and was admitted 10/10/19. Everyone from Doctor's, RN's to hospital administrators have been very kind. I am very grateful to this hospital. I will donate money to this hospital as soon as I am able. Thanks for being kind to my brother... My family.

Nora Anderson

If you want someone to keep having heart attacks because you have great insurance, then go there otherwise never go there. If I could give this hospital a zero I would! But I must say the nurses are great the doctors suck big time.

Larry Lambert

From the moment i made it into the Emergency room door to the moment i was discharged i was treated with the utmost care and respect. The clerical staff was awesome. The service tech's were far beyond great at all times...Docs, what can i say but amazing. Thank you!!! The nurses ....!!! The entire Nursing staff in all departments were beyond amazing. Super high 5's and hugs to all in the COU. You know who u are! Such amazing ladies. Took me from a mound of moltion goop and made me human again in an amazing time frame. I am so thankful for everyone there at St Rose Dominican. This is not a job to these folks, its a labor of love and care for all of them. If i can only give 5 stars, so be it. 5.

Heidi Davis

Excellent care! Our son was severely dehydrated with abdominal pain. The entire staff, doctor, nurses took excellent care of him. Emergency Department was impressive--individual rooms, well organized. Tests came back quickly. We are very grateful to the entire staff for taking good care of our son!!

We had our child here. The staff was very well mannered and helped us out the whole time.

So last month in February my car was properly parked when two security guards came and approached my passenger side window and gave me & my young son this weird look. They said nothing to us but mumbled something to each other then they both walked off. So myself & son waited to exit out of my vehicle so we can walk to the elevators. Then we got to the elevators I noticed that the security guards was down at the bottom almost like waiting for us, so I didn't get a good vibe at all it was night time I didn't see any other visible person around so I didn't get off the elevator we just left to avoid any unwanted circumstances to happen. So then I was notified from my friend who works there that I was lending my car to at that time that my car was missing. So I come back to the hospital to inquire about my vehicle whereabouts from there security office to see if they knew anything & they even helped me looked for my car. So then they told me to call the police & they will let me know something. So yes once I called the police to inquire about my car they had informed me that the hospital security guards had indeed called in a report and said it was a "SUSPICIOUS BLACK FEMALE IN A STOLEN VEHICLE DEMONSTRATING SUSPICIOUS BEHAVIOR". Once the police came to the location and ran my car tags & they then all found out my car wasn't stolen as reported from the security guards, and I was the register owner so the police then left. Then the security guards went beyond the police & called the tow yard to see if my car was up for repo. The company who towed my vehicle informed me that they received a tip from the hospital security regarding my vehicle. I then called the security supervisor who was very rude & disrespectful to see why they made a false accusation against me regarding my car being stolen etc, then played like they knew nothing when I first inquired about my car smh. So he "says to us if you want to file a civil lawsuit against us for racially profiling you for discrimination then go right ahead" then hung up the phone in my face. So please people be aware of this place not only for your medical needs but also if your feeling uncertain about something listen to your instincts & thank God myself & son didn't get off that elevator because they already had me pegged as a criminal & who knows what deadly tragedy could've happened to myself & young son. I thank God to be alive from surviving that moment to share my experience & bring awareness on what it feels like to be racially profiled. My heart goes out to the next victim they choose to prey on...

I just delivered my son at St Rose Siena Campus and the whole labor and delivery and post partum was a great experience. I was seen in triage within 5 min of getting there, was evaluated then admitted and put in a room right away. My delivery nurse was Rachel and I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about her. She was incredible in every second of the process, way above and beyond of what I was expecting. Every other nurse was great but she definitely deserves a shoutout for her outstanding work. I'd go back here to deliver another baby ten times over, zero regrets and I am so happy with my experience.

Kyle Langford

We received good service, but insanely expensive. It is literally just under $5000 to walk in the door of the ER. Keep that in mind when considering coming in.

Sarai Faz

Horrible Hospital... I have an elderly aunt that came in with extremly low glucose level, they admitted her in and kept her only till if was "safe" enough to send her back home. They called my elderly grandpa at 3am in the morning to go pick her up. The next day she fainted and almost fell to the ground, the paramedics were called and took her to a better hospital. Her sugar levels are now stable, she is at a different, more professional and caring hospital. They have a bad reputation even with the professionals in this field... Do not go here for your elderly loved ones... I dont know where the dignity in their name comes from...

Sharon Fajardo

I want to thank the Labor and Delivery department for their wonderful service! Everyone, including security, cleaning crew, nurses, doctors, cafeteria crew and receptionists made sure that I was well taken care of. Everyone here is friendly, professiojal and very attentive. Most importantly, I did not have to wait several hours to be helped.

I don’t understand why this place has a bad review! The nurses here, Danielle, Jacklyn, Ashley, Courtney, Laurie, Adam, Mack and Jessica are here are so kind and helped me when I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. The surgeons there Dr. Gonzalez and Dr. Peoples also helped my grandma when she had a life threatening brain tumor. Also this place is very beautiful. For example, the child section of the hospital has a lot of pictures of Disney characters. Plus, they have a play room for the kids who want to do arts and crafts or play! Not only that they let people with therapy dogs come in to make the patients there feel better. This is why I believe this is the best hospital to go.

Mindy Seta

I’m currently in the ER with my sister and I am extremely dissapointed! She was air lifted due to blood loss and the on staff Dr did not believe her and ordered blood thinners. After he gave them he took another CBC and discovered her blood had dropped to 6.5. She had been here dive 4:00 am and she still has not received it!!!!!

Greg Willis

This is the worst ER around. The experience deserves negative stars. All started from check in waiting in line for 15 mins to being put in a small room off to the side where where they kept bringing other people in. That prostitute looking nurse Kellie P. was a joke and I told her I was in pain still after receiving a shot of morphine and her response was "that's nice" as she was walking out of the door. And the doctor who came in while I was getting my IV and throwing up was asking me 1 million questions and said he would come back when they finished, never saw him again. Patrick Frank you are the biggest douche bag so called Dr. Being there 4 hours, I was put either back in the waiting room or in that small room, they literally gave me my paperwork and sent me home. They didn't explain anything or what was wrong. Stay away go somewhere else.

Melissa Shriver

They took care of my family when they were in the ICU really made sure that they got fantastic service. I'm very thankful to the entire ICU staff for being as diligent and focused on their jobs and professional to take care of my family. Thanks again.

Kay Burton

Caring, efficient staff. Wonderful doctor Motley Crue. 6 stars if I could have given them. Thank you all so much. Coughing lady. Lol

kristina kovalchuk

I went there today for a tour of the birthing center. That went great. But when i went downstairs to register, the lady was being very rude to me. And every time i tried to talk to her she continued to be rude to me. I thought maybe shes just not a nice person or having a bad day. But then when i was waiting someone else went to talk to her, and she was being nice to them. I dont know but I ended up leaving without registering. Now i dont know how to register without having to see her. Or if i even want to deliever at this hospital.

Aaron DelSignore

Horrible experience “live” now. I have been waiting in ER for 3 hours now. The head nurse is rude and emotional. They “forgot” to take my urine sample (after taking all the other exams) and i am here with my wife and baby. I have to fly to FLA on business tomorrow....I politely asked to leave and the head nurse rudely said “wait until we get your urine results or you will lose everything you did today”. Stunned...I inquired if I could call or acquire my results another way. She said if I leave...NO. Power trip...and ironically it was there error.

John Coon

My wife fell, hit her head on our tile and needed a couple of stitches. The emergency room doctor stitched my wife's hair into the injury so it took almost 8 weeks to heal. Incompetence and worthy of a law suit and I think this is the worst hospital in the valley here! Yeah, human kindness until they screw you with their ASTRONOMICAL costs! And I think all the positive reviews on this site are bogus!

Todd Orr

Had a great experience here on the night of 6/30/16 came in for a motorcycle accident and they went above and beyond to make sure i was doing ok and comfortable. The RN Allison was very helpful and the doctor did a great job explaining everything that was going on. Very happy with my experience.

Ritchelle Dizon

Our grandmother is currently ill and has been in and out of the ICU for the past month. We’ve been through a handful of different RNs but we’ve only experienced one true compassionate one at this hospital. Yesterday, my grandmother’s nurse literally answered her personal phone in front of all of us when I called her in to check my grandmothers blood pressure since it dropped so low. I saw the name on her phone since I was standing behind her. It was her husband. She literally said “hold on, babe.” In front of my grandma... while adjusting her BP cuff. We have never experienced anything like this. I was too shocked to say anything! I can only imagine how hard it is to be an RN but atleast have some respect for your patient and family members. Leave your phone in your locker. May I add that her phone wasn’t even on silent.

Sharon Taylor

I'll change my rating when the Paperwork is done with the insurance company. As far as the care for my husband has been great. The staff is taking good care of him. He's in ICU. They are very thorough.

Carla Caldwell

I would not recommend this hospital, we brought my father in who had suffered a previous double pulmonary embolism and was having the same symptoms . They had no sense of urgency, and most of his treatment was done from the waiting room. They would take him for a test and then bring him back to the waiting room. When I asked how long it would before he would get to see the doctor I was told that once they get results on all of his test then they will get a bed for him. We have now been waiting for three hours and still have not seen a doctor and my dad has chest pains and shortness of breath. I will never bring my family members here ever again. They are going to end up letting someone die waiting in the assessment waiting area to be treated.

Real Talk

I brought my daughter into the hospital for being dizzy and passing out! It was almost 3 hours from the last time she saw a doctor when I asked how long it would be the nurse was rude as hell! Then the nurse proceeded to the nurses station where I can hear her talking about me to the other nurses! I will never ever ever come to this hospital again!! Unprofessional horrible service!!!

Beware their emergency room; they may care elsewhere, but the ER could be run by sadists. No matter whether it's busy, or whether there are just a few people, THEY WILL MAKE YOU WAIT FOR HOURS. Been here several times with wife with serious heart issues. The shortest we've waited has been over three hours. We're working on hour 5 this morning (12:30 am), with no attention and no word as to whether we'll have to wait another 5 hours. There are people here that appear to have communicable diseases that are thrown a blanket and made to sit with everyone else and suffer for uncounted hours. On slow days they seem to actually close off rooms and staff-down, rather than treat people more quickly. The administration obviously runs the waiting room to minimize costs, and not for prompt care. There are a lot of staffers there that really DO care, but the cards are stacked against them when there aren't enough rooms open or nurses available. So when it comes to the ER, don't believe the caring jive.

Sorry for being blunt, but St. Rose killed my grandma. She was in the hospital and was feeling better and the doctors let her out early (my mom remembers one dr saying "I tell when the patient leaves" when one of the nurses suggested that she stayed a few more days). She went into rehab and the drs didn't write down that my grandma was on insulin, so her blood sugar was up to 400. She went to a different hospital and they were draining her kidney's. Do not trust them here. I will never forgive St. Rose to what they did. (Gave them one star so I could post this.)

Kia Vang

Poor hospitality, very condescending towards the patient's family, giving contradicting information and no humankindness was felt from the staff (exception of 1 nurse that was). I'm very disappointed with how this hospital treat my family when we all flew and drove from various places across the country for my aunt who is in the ICU. I would've rates this hospital a zero but sadly that's not an option.

ER initially charged $1700 for a scorpion bite. They discounted $450 if I paid all at once so I did ($1267.13). 2 weeks later I get a bill for the $450 discount from the hospital plus and additional $925. The $925 is from a company called Alcoa and covers the doctors fee. When you call Alcoa you get a strange message that states they are too busy to take calls at this time. $2675 for a scorpion bite treated only by a nurse with a shot of benadryl. The crummy thing is when I went into the ER I was scared because I didn't know what bit me. I explained that I didn't have insurance and would suffer the pain if it wasn't dangerous. It wasn't dangerous but they advised it would not be expensive and I was best to get treated. JERKS!

All my three times visits left me frustrated, disappointed and in pain! FIRST BIRTHING: It was terrible experienced! I went in with 3 centimeters dilated, I told them make sure I will get an epidural! Made me walked back and forth on the hallway to help me dilate to at least 5 centimeters or more, did that for an hour...this time I mentioned the epedural again, one of the nurse asked for medical records, told them they have an access to my records because my OB Dr is affiliated to that hospital. They took me into labor room, several minutes I asked for epedural again because I was contacting paster at that time, nurse said the anesthesiologist was reviewing my records before he will administer the epedural. Guess what? I gave birth without it! Didn't make on time, as well as my own OB-GYN. Another worst part the nurse who was with me and my husband didn't do things I was expecting! Never coached me with the breathings nor pushing, she was just staring at the monitor the whole time I was in labor! My baby just came out on her own with purple face, I guess because of the pressure! She even asked for assistance from my husband to press the emergency button for help! There was no in charge doctor nor midwife present during that time! There was one doctor who came only when my baby was out, and didn't even introduced him self, he only looked at the baby from far and said" oh,ok the baby is out " and left! My insurance paid $1800 for that particular doctor that didn't do nothing!!! Horrible!!!! SECOND-EMERGENCY: I got admitted after two weeks of giving birth for having a lower back pain and trouble breathing. Did all the testings, and the Dr. in-charged finding was I had water in my lungs, probably due to the labor! Following morning, a specialist came and told me I didn't have water in the lungs! ( That was a relief). So testing was redone again, still no findings! At this time I was still in pain and relying on pain killer and hooked on to the oxygen because of my breathing. Third day I was sent home with the same problem with no solution just apain killer over the counter because I was breastfeeding! The next day I went to see our family practitioner and BOOM!! I was detected with hairline pulled muscle on my lower back probably due to the repetition of lifting and carrying my baby. How come the hospital didn't detect it with all the testings they have done on me! Again, I was frustrated and disappointed! Terrible!!!! Third- EMERGENCY: Yesterday I was checked in for lower abdominal pain or pelvis pain. Got some testings done guick and got called in after 3 hours by a nurse. She prepared me for CT scan, got IV inserted into my right arm and administered 6 deffirent meds through my IV. During CT scan I felt burning pain sensations and I wanted to scream because of the pain and on top of that I felt my right arm was going to explode! The nurse did the IV over penetrated my vein and my arm balloned up with medications gathered on top of my muscle inside my skin!! I told the nurse I would just go home, he called the incharged doctor, and the doctor said the ct scan result had no findings. She or the radiologist read the can result from whatever was taken from me during the time when the iodine injection through my iv didn't enter my blood system! I don't know how accurate the result would be without it! I left the hospital because the doctor was more sensitive and insensitive to her in-pain patient! I didn't know how I managed to drive home with excruciating pain! I was more in pain than I was earlier that day! Now, my arm is bigger than the size of my lower leg! I'm dissapointed and traumatized with this hospital! Everytime I would remember of that trauma, I would burst into tears! I will never go back nor bring my family in this hospital

STAY AWAY!!! Would give 0 stars if it was possible. The whole operation seems to be designed to rip off your money. I was charged $7000 to hear my daughter was just fine. Their latest commercial campaign is a joke; it is exactly what they are NOT!!! They do not have dignity and they are no hero! They see you as cash-cows!

ER is a little rough to go through to get admitted but once through everything else was Excellent ! The Staff is First Rate, clean facility and thorough in their details. RN's are the best group I have ever met ! Each shift shares their knowledge with the next and they go over and above to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended. Best Hospital I have ever stayed at !

Suzanne Bianchi

I recently gave birth to my babygirl at St.Rose and I have to give a shout out and huge thanks to our RN Ashely L. She was absolutely amazing!! From the moment I checked in, she was so caring and down to earth. This is my first child and she made me feel so comfortable and gave me so much support. Her shift was ending about an hour before I actually gave birth and I asked her to stay with me and she really did stay until after baby was born! When I got home and was going through our hospital paperwork there was an envelope with a card in it from her that was also very heart warming. Besides having the best nurse I could have dreamed of during delivery, our stay in post partum was fantastic. I love how they brought us a celebration dinner with our choice of entree from their menu, sparkling cider, nothing bundt cakes and cheese cake! We were able to order breakfast, lunch and dinner with options. We are vegetarians and they had Boca burgers! (Not many places have them so we were impressed). Those nurses were also great but nobody compared to Ashley L. I definitely plan on having my next baby at St.Rose! I will also be recommending anyone expecting to have their delivery there as well. They truly made my birthing experience amazing and I thank them for that!

I had the absolute worst experience here. The postpartum nurses are pushy, lacking empathy and make unreasonable demands of exhausted parents. There is no respect of privacy. Frequent stops of nurses, food clerks, birth certificate, med billing, maintenance, etc... it really does take away from family bonding and rest periods. The head charge nurse at night with extremely overdone makeup is a bully to other nurses and patients. Does she not realize some patients are actually spending over 30K for a service? Let's talk about going home. The nurses clearly have communication issues with all teams within the hospital because the wheelchair attendant practically had a heart attack when the nurse called her too early to take me to the lobby. I just can't with this establishment. I refuse to go here again for ANYTHING and please believe I will be convincing all my friends and loved ones the same.

Larry Paseornek

I was here for a surgery and lived with no complaints. Nurses and doctors were attentive. It's what you should have in a hospital.

Marcia Sugrue

It is now 5:45pm, I have tried to reach the radiology department today by making repeated phone calls. Each time I have left a message with no return call. Very unprofessional...

Not a Good hospital to deliver! Bad experience. Most of my nurses were rude !!! And they don’t have a nursery meaning , you will have ur baby after birth 24/7 no help from nurses when ur vagina is ripped open you need help from a nurse !!!!! They don’t allow pacifiers , and they don’t send you home with feeding bottles or diapers . Sunrise over St Rose hospital ! They didn’t even tell me how much my baby wieght . I had too ask ! Don’t recommend AT ALL !! don’t let the fanciness Fool you .

These people have got to be the nicest greatest nurses doctors any hospital I’ve ever stayed in the world I highly recommend them be 100% honest with your doctor it took them three days to resolve problems I’ve had for 25 years they gave me the best surgeons the best doctors the best referrals the food was fantastic and the care was outstanding

jealyn lizama

I had gone in & feeling contractions & they had me set up in a room in literally minutes, most of the nurses were very kind, one nurse saw i was exhausted & watched my baby for a couple of hours while on dut, so i could get some rest. (They have little bands on babies ankle so no body could just walk out w out alarms going off) . I really do recommend this hospital. Very attentive, i had to return to the ER the days after my discharge & they helped me & i was out within 2 hours.

I've had personal and my family member who has, as an elderly person a lot of medical complications. Im giving the 1 star for the (few staff)over the last 8 years of my elderly parent marriage to this hospital. Not the corporate establishment or the ill mannered over paid help!! I went here originally because of my parents Dr told us to go there it was the closest. 8 years it has been a rollercoaster and I've come to understand the BUSINESS of the sick!!!BUSINESS IS GOOD!! TREATMENT IS BAD! I dont doubt for a second that the recourses are there but the crudeness with which treatment is administered is horrendous. I've had urologists in this hospital say things to my parent that deserved a beating. SADISTIC DRS WITH CADDY DISPOSITIONS!! I've had Urologists in this hospital insult me for asking a question, Telling me if I explained it to you would it matter anyway. When I told him to humor me , he showed me the notes and asked me if I could READ!! I've gotten to understand the system and its viciousness. I now understand it's a balance between $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ And humanity. Nurses, Drs, are human beings and are under a tremendous stress this I understand. But when you lose respect for human suffering it's really a bad sign. I've been unfortunately there myself in an unfortunate situation. Waiting room was empty I went in feeling chest pain and dizziness. I listen to receptionist talking about there personally dysfunctional lifestyles while laughing out loud. I was alone all my family were out of town so I had no ADVOCATE !! I felt so ill I was trying to keep composure. They were laughing and mocking my illness. This is UNACCEPTABLE behavior. They act this way because of that big burly armed guard who is there companion. I asked if they could please take my wife's number down in case something happened to me. She slammed a piece of paper and pen and said write it yourself!! When I was taken inside the nurse was laughing and asking me what I was on? I told her I dont drink, I dont use drugs, I dont smoke. We'll see!! She walks out! It's very typical in this hospital. This type of treatment towards patients. I can see that they become desensitized to situations so as not to go crazy. I personally know a few nurse friends on prosac and other meds. Some quit! I saw during one of my parents stay something so disgusting that I decided to switch hospitals. I saw a filipina old woman 84 years old die of cardiac arrest! Her whole family crying uncontrollably " while the nurses were laughing and mocking there pain"" who would believe such a things unless your there to witness. After what those Urologists spoke to me its 1000% bankable!!! Very sad truth about medical situation in this great country.. my apologies to the few beautiful nurses and Drs who really try to help and make a difference. God bless all of you. Dr. Uche infectious disease specialist saved my father's life after being sent home to die. Thank you Dr.. Dr Jose Aquino cardiologists thank you for being such a kind human being. And to the handful of nurses that truly cared.. GOD HAS BLESSED MY FATHER WITH A FEW HONEST CARING INDIVIDUALS WHO MADE A DIFFERENCE. AND A SON WHO IS TENACIOUS AND LOVE FOR HIS FATHER IS UNCOMPROMISING..

Red D.G.

Came in to check to make sure i wasn't having a heart attack, that was at 5:45pm. At 7pm was told to pay $876. It is now 11:48pm and I have yet to see a doctor. Don't know about that heart attack...

Leo Dunlap

If I could give zero stars I would! The medical staff are very uneasy and make you feel like your just going to the DMV or some other type of general waiting room! The nurse that takes your blood pressure made me feel like a number with no real concerns! Surprisingly the only staff that seemed to care were the hospital cops! Don’t go here if you have an emergency they won’t help you for a long time was there for 3 hours and wasn’t treated only examined!

Courteous and helpful check in personnel; sadly that's where it ended. I sustained severe bruising from a fall on my feet and knees that are already in end stage arthritis . After X-Rays, the doctor finally arrived and said "Good news, no broken bones" He then proceeded to press, pull and move both kneecaps as if I was receiving a deep tissue massage. I was yelling in pain, yet he said nothing. ( FYI: He only returned to my room to due to my telling the discharge nurse how I was treated and that I was filing a report to Patient Relations) He entered the room and said" Did you want to see me"? I then asked him what the hell he was doing knowing I had sustained a fall that warranted a trip to the ER for fear of having broken both knees and ankles and manipulating the bruised and severely painful knee areas on both legs as if I was receiving a deep tissue massage? Granted, he did apologize and said it was a necessary procedure to check for dislocations in the knee area. I said that's understandable, but why not communicate this to a patient BEFORE beginning a procedure that was likely going to cause them even more pain? He replied "It wasn't my intention to hurt you, I apologize", then muttered a condescending "Have a better day" as he left the room. These people(especially the doctors) need to remember that they are not working at a garage on broken cars and that bedside manner and compassion go a long way to a person that is already traumatized in pain and in an unfamiliar place often with no family. Finally, remember the Hippocratic oath they took before receiving their medical license that states "FIRST, DO NO HARM" Avoid this place if at all possible unless you like being subjected to more pain without any advisement as to why a procedure is necessary. Pathetic; simply pathetic.

First, let me say, I am a nurse. Secondly, on 11/08/18, my husband had a 1 story fall, he arrived in your ED by ambulance. I rushed there from work and felt relief he was there, your reputation was excellent. Let me say, sadly, our experience was horrible. I found it difficult to find 1 nurse with any compassion, they were rushed and snappy and treated him like he was bothering them, he was in severe pain. When the doctor came in and said his xray and CAT were negative, things went from bad to worse, we were wheeled into the hall. My husband was crying in pain. The doctor and nurse told him they had no idea why he had pain and if he did not get up, he would be sent to a nursing home. I got him up, got crutches from my trunk I was donating to goodwill and put him in my car. I was absolutely appalled. He cried in pain all night. A visit to our doctor revealed a hip fracture, a pubic fracture and a sprained knee. It is February and he is still out of work. While I understand fractures may not always show right away because of soft tissue injury, I am still so upset by the poor treatment we received. It was very busy in there and I understood. We should have been treated better without a doubt. As a nurse, I understand how stressful the job is and I tried to help with my husband as there were codes going on around us. Why didn't they move us to another section of the ED? Why didn't they at least try to figure out why a 50 year old man who just fell 1 story could not bear weight instead of threatening to send him to a nursing home? I have thought about writing this since the day of his accident and wanted to make sure my emotions were not in play any longer regarding my opinion of our experience. I am still very disappointed by the whole situation. I hope you will really take a good look at what I have written and try to improve on the way in which people are treated holistically in your ED. Thank you, Kelly Romero

Julie in ER is so rude, an unprofessional!! I cannot believe she even has a job at this hospital! She should treat patients and family members of victim with courtesy and respect. I have nothing else to say. Julie should be fired maybe, that's all.

I am currently in the pediatrics unit with my newborn and just been dicharged from the maternity ward. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE. They are trying to find ways to bill my insurance so now theyre keeping my baby another night. When my daughters father filled out the birth certificate paperwork, he was told that the zip code was too sloppy so our paperwork was left without a chance to even resubmit. I never had anyone come in to clean my room and the towels i received for showering were dirty. Im not exaggerating and im not writing this review from a place of anger. Im being completely honest. This is my first pregnancy and delivery and i was told that the hospital takes pictures you can buy so i saved money just for that BUT GUESS WHAT!? NO ONE EVEN CAME TO MY ROOM TO TAKE PICTURES. This is the worst experience for my first pregnancy. You would think they could treat you a tad bit better while they milk your insurance and make up all these routines. My sister delivered my nephew here 3 years ago and he had jaundice at a level 12...they let her take him home and only told her to put him in the sun and rotate him

We went in for an Emergency Room visit and at first the facility seemed nice until we got into the room and the bed had dirty sheets. Most of the staff was rude from the front desk to the nurses. They were dismissive of our concerns and did not want to listen. We were told that an IV would be administered and tests would be done but they didn't do ANYTHING. Literally we just laid in a dirty bed for hours just to go home. The doctor did not want to run tests because he thought it was unnecessary even after we specifically asked for it to be done. We never even spoke to the doctor. The nurse told the NP who told the doctor who then told the NP who told the nurse who spoke to us. We left with nothing but a bill. The only pleasant person was the woman registering and taking our insurance info in the room. Other than that it was a disappointing experience.

Thanks St rose because your negligent staff I have to watch my mother be a widow after being married for 34 years. My father died in this hospital due to cardiac shock. He had a wound vac placed on his leg from a blood clot and he died from loss of blood. How do you lose to much blood in a hospital where they are supposed to care for you? Certainly not my dad. Our lives have forever changed because the Drs and Nurse were negligent that weekend. Please reconsider bringing you loved ones here. My experience was tramatic and devastating. My dad was in ICU for 3days the staff in that ward were caring but then they put him in my a lower ward because he was "better". He did not last a whole 24 hours in the lower ward. Passed away 7-25-17 ,3 days before my 34 birthday from losing to much blood from the wound vac. The last time I saw my dad we we're pulling the life support tube from him.

Christine Smith

The trauma department and ICU staff were absolutely incredible in taking care of my 89 year dad. I was so afraid we were going to lose him, but they came through for him and I am so very thankful! Every one that has/is helping him is amazing. UPDATE: Turns out the care stops after ICU. Because you’re old, on Medicare, and the Hospitalist decides you’ve taken up space for too long, they literally take you off any processes that could help you, give an injection to start the dying process without a single word to the family why. No discussion of a prognosis or cause. Just ship the patient to hospice, so they won’t have an inpatient death on record. I feel like I have been sucked into a Twilight Zone satanic black hole I wasn’t able to get out of as my dad went from having a cold to dead in 17 days. If given the opportunity, I would have had him moved to another hospital.

myjojo12405

My mom who is 89 and have been here since 11 am...it's now 2:30 pm..she has fainted and hurt her hip..they've taken xray, E kg, ct scans etc..next a lady comes for me to sign admissions paper...3 times I'm told doctor coming to talk to me...I've inquired 3 times and they keep blowing me off (not good)..we are still waiting in ER and don't know what she's being admitted for..this place SUCKS.

I had an unpleaseat experience in this hospital’s ER.. Went in the hospital with off the charts pain due to a kidney stone and was vomiting a great deal. Took their ER close to over 3 hours to give any kind of pain medicine. It was just about impossible to talk to a doctor and I am sure I will be charged a great deal of money for the care I received. The PA nurse was laughing at me because when I said I have a lot of experience with kidney stones and that my tubes going down from my kidney to my bladder are narrower than normal. I was sent home still with extreme vomiting and still in a great deal of pain.

Carol Warren

Everyone is kind here. Highly recommend

The staff was great but the billing department was horrible to work with. The mis-characterized my son's birth as a "Workplace Accident" and caused a nightmare with my insurance company. Then they over billed us and refused to pay it back for 7 months. When they did refund us they accidentally sent more than the amount and instead of contacting us to pay it back to them kindly, they sent us a letter threatening to turn us over to a collection agency. We paid all of our bills on time to them and this is how they treated us. Because of their billing department's lack of professionalism and not treating us with any 'Human Kindness', I will never Darken Dignity Health with my family's health care again.

My 19 year old daughter went to the ER last night in a lot of pain. She was seating in the waiting area bent over for a long time until her name was called to see the Triage nurse. Then she was asked to seat and wait for her name to be call. She waited & waited and finally got up and ask the evil witch (triage nurse) how much longer she had to wait since she really needed to lay down because by seating her pain was getting worst, she told her that there were people inside in worst shape and that she had to wait. We do understand that there are more critical patients however you don't have to be so rude & uncaring to someone that it's not dying but is in a lot of pain. Their TV commercial said....Dignity Health" I don't see anything dignity in the way they treat patients, it's a shame this used to be a nice hospital some years ago. The doctor that saw her was young, looked very tired. He ordered pain medication and a CTscan, well they took her for the Scan, but no nurse came with the pain medication, when I asked him he just said " I ordered it". My daughter needed to go to the bathroom and I asked the nurse to help unhooked her, she came to the room, no a word, unhooked her and left the room like we were bothering her. Very rude, you could feel the coldness of these people, we know they deal with this everyday and are use to it, but this is the profession they chose, if you don't have compassion for another person in pain DO NOT BECOME A NURSE OR DOCTOR.... INSTEAD GO TO LAW SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been in and out of the hospital due to sepsis and c-diff. After speaking with the patient experience coordinator about on going discrimination from a doctor who treated me almost 2 years ago I was retaliated against and bullied out of the hospital by IMC staff (Rachel, Josh, Jarisha, Krystal, James and my nurse Hannah as she played a role in it to). They spoke loudly outside my door and talked about me as if we were in high school. I called the operator as everything was happening (in IMC and I was transferred to a woman named "Jen" whom said what did you expect to happen when you spoke to the coordinator. I was forced into signing an waiver to leave and was directed to walk out of the hospital on my own after being in a bed for almost a week on medication with Cancer, a DVT, C-Diff and loss of strength. When my health is better I plan to go into full depth. I pray this never happens to another patient because I'm absolutely traumatized. Dr. Uche, Dr. Dao and Dr. Hickson were very professional.

I’m shocked at these terrible reviews. I’ve gone here multiple times to the E.R and was treated professionally and quick. But this was the pediatric E.R. I don’t know what it’s like in the adult one. I’ve gone there for myself when I had overdosed, and the nurses were very kind and understanding. Another time I went was when my dad had 2 heart attacks. He was brought into surgery and treated very well in ICU. My baby brother was also brought in, and they treated him very well. I really don’t understand these terrible reviews, this hospital has always been helpful to my family and they litterally saved my fathers life. Guess it’s just a hit or miss hospital.

Ryan Kay

So, my experience in the er was awful. My girlfriend needs her galblatter removed. Once she stopped eating and drinking, I decided to take her to the er. We were greeted promptly and saw a Dr after that. They ran a blood, urine and a ultrasound. Once this was completed, we were called back from the waiting room and were promptly discharged without any treatment. When I complained that they had done nothing to address the fact of no water no food, they ignored my concern with a script for pain pills. So in conclusion, is this a pain pill clinic or do they want to help? Her surgeon was shocked told us those pills do nothing and was frankly as upset about this as we were. Also according to her urine samples there was an blood and other things abnormal in her urine. No treatment.

Jeff Van

If I can rate this a negative star I would. Unprofessional, lack of knowledge, I had more knowledge than the doctor did. Rude, no empathy, nothing. Dr Jason Larsy was more than unprofessional. When I questioned the test results performed and was correct while he was wrong he immediately walked out of the room. This is a life and death situation I'm talking about. If you want to die go here. They will kill you. The only RN that has any sense of compassion, or care is Liam Nielsen. I will be pursing every avenue available to go after the lack of care this hospital provides. It's disgusting and unbelievable.

Liliet Font-Gomez

I checked in to the Labor and delivery by 8:30 pm on the 17 th to be induced. First pregnancy, no experience at all. Never thought I will be staying there for four days! Didn’t leave until Friday night. I was really exhausted from all the induction process and at some point I thought I couldn’t do it. And all the time the nurses give me the best attention I could ever imagine. The make time to answer all my question every hour the came to check on me. They were very patient and professional! Now that my beautiful baby girl is here with me, I will never forget them! Thank you all!

Chloe Taylor

this is the absolute worst hospital I’ve ever been too… This is my third time here and I am about to walk out.... again… I have waited over 45 minutes in my room and no one has came to give me medicine or take my blood yet ... so unprofessional....

Demi Rowell

My Mom came here after calling an ambulance because she was in so much excruciating pain she physically could not move or get out of bed. She waited in the waiting room for around two hours before being “admitted”. I put that in quotes because they didn’t even give her the dignity of a room, she was out in the hallway next to the nurses’ center. They did some tests and the doctor came back and told her, with me present, that she had stage IV metastatic lung cancer. They provided no medication or treatment for her cancer, only referring her to a hospice service so she could die at home. In the eternity it took them to do the referal my Mom needed to use the restroom. I called over three separate nurses until one finally agreed to help. He unhooked her IV and then walked away. Remember, she was in so much pain she needed to call an ambulance to get out of bed. They didn’t even suggest providing a wheelchair for her. I had to physically brace her as she clung to the wall inching her way toward the bathroom in unimaginable pain. Once again denying dignity to the woman I know most deserving of it. I also had to assist her in physically using the bathroom. Then when she was finished we repeated the slow and humiliating process to get her back into her hallway bed. I am shocked and disgusted that they have the audacity to call themselves “Dignity” Health. The only reason she died in dignity was due to the tireless work of the hospice, Nathan Adelson Hospice. I would rather die in Nathan Adelson’s care than live in Dignity Health’s. At least they did marginally better at the actual job of diagnosing than their satellite campus, Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican Blue Diamond Campus. She went there the week before this and they diagnosed her with rheumatoid arthritis and sent her home. The entire Dignity Health system is a joke.

samantha seaman

Siena has gone down tremendously. 2 experiences now and the staff is horrible. We went there and treated in the waiting room, wouldn’t give pillows or blankets, give us any information on what was going on. Don’t know if it’s Dignity Health or what but they suck!

Nick Utiger

Birth Center - Outstanding in every way. We had a tour of the facility beforehand and it was informative. During our stay, we experienced attentive, caring nurses, helpful staff and a pleasant environment. They went out of their way to make me comfortable as well (the Dad), since I was staying with my wife in her room. I also enjoyed the nursing supervisor coming around asking how her staff and doctors were doing and for any suggestions. They sent lactation specialists around daily to make sure she was feeding well. And when my wife asked for one to visit, they were there within a few minutes. Just Excellent. Thank you all very much!

I'm rating this a one star, not for the care, but for the parking. I drove around for 15 min & couldn't find a parking spot. That garage they built years ago is a joke. Completely full & with so many cars behind me, I couldn't turn around till I got to the top. On top of that, my appointment was for my leg which now I have to deal with walking a distance

Red G Warren

Great hospital. They are taking great care of my son. Very kind and courteous staff.

Lisa Eagleson

Horrific !!! If I could give a zero I would. Check in was good. The doctor Jonathan MCGary was TRAGIC!!! The first thing he said to me was you look fine, why are you here ? I replied, I blackout out and went blind for a few seconds as well as blurry vision with head pain. He said” The hospital isn’t for that , You probably have anxiety. Are you f’ing kidding me !!! Seriously !!!! I showed him my papers from the nephrologist, so he could see the test I was scheduled for and at a minimum do a cat scan or MRI . I was told they didn’t do that there!!! A hospital with out a cat scan or MRI ??? They gave me an EKG instead , when I explained the pain was in my head. So several days later I have another this time with numbing on my left side, my sister who runs several hospitals in NY said” you need to go to the ER , I explained to her I had several days before and was basically told I was crazy !!!! This doctor needs to have his license revoked immediately!! One day someone will die due to this type of treatment. St Rose , get it your act together !

carol holly kloppenborg

Everyone there is caring and kind . Very clean. Very professional. Have no complaints.

Matt Bowers

It seems normal to have people in the ER waiting room for more than 8 hours. No one can give you any kind of reasonable time estimate. Nobody should be the ER that long unless they are waiting on a bed. Worst ER experience in my life.

Everyone that has come in after me are being treated. I feel like I'm being ignored. This is just BS. If you need to go to the ER, go somewhere else.

Sean MacNabb

This isn't a hospital, it's the 9th circle of hell. Came on Friday at 9:30pm. Still sitting here at 3:30an AND HAVEN'T SO MUCH AS SEEN someone with a doctor's licence. DO NOT go here.

Jay Bishop

My wife checked in for surgery today, 10/16/17, at 8:30 AM. Got all her pre-op done and we waited for her to be rolled into the OR. We waited five and one half hours! In all that time not one single nurse checked on her or updated us on her or the doctor’s status. A custodial worker gave her a warm blanket as it was cold in there. We walked out six hours after she was admitted. Poor patient care to say the least.

Judy M

I was visiting Las Vegas for a week at a time share. In their book for an ER was St. Rose. I drove myself to the hospital. I was taken right in after giving my information. They gave a very good exam and several tests. They gave me prescriptions for my problems. They also stressed that I should see my doctor as I had a very large hernia seen on a CT scan with contrast. I was flying out the next day and wanted to be sure I would be OK flying. I was and am consulting my surgeon.

Igreja em Las Vegas

If you ever need to go to the emergency room, just find another hospital. My experience can summarized in wait, wait, wait and wait......

Joe Calderon

I was treated like an animal by the male nurse there. How do you argue and almost get in a fight with someone who feels sick. Wow! Hope your real proud of yourself. Bravo! Then before that you want to give me an attitude because I didn't want much of a morphine shot. It was helpful during my knee surgery but not for head pain. Then give me an attitude , A gain because I took a little while to give you the TV remote. But the security guard says your a nice guy. Yeah. Well. I'm a nice guy too but that doesn't mean I'm perfect. Your definitely not perfect and I don't like how you treated me. 20 years of you being rude to patients. Wow! Female nurses are wayyyy better. More caring. Think you should try to become a doctor by now. Because doctors in Vegas are not as caring.

Leslie Haycock

Every single person I came in contact with was kind, compassionate and patient, and took excellent care of me.

Scott

Worst ER doctor ever. Was referred from Urgent Care. Told them my symptoms. Told to sit and wait. When I was called back told the doctor again. Advised of my medical condition which includes a diagnosis of seizures. Attempted to provided a list of my current medicines and no one cared. Sent to sit again. At some point I had a witnessed seizure by the nurses and was unresponsive. The Doctor dismissed it and discharged me stating alk my tests came back pefectly fine. Sure it did. I had a witnessed seizure, your EKG I am sure was abnormal, your heart rate monitor was constantly dinging, but hey nothing was wrong. Oh yeah, you absolutely have to make a payment before they will let you leave the hospital. They will attempt to collect all they are owedcup front regardless of whether you can afford to pay or not and will not bill you or offer a payment arrangements unless you fight for it. They will make you pay something however in order to leave so be ready to poney up some serious cash.

Jeanne Storck

The worst service ever in an emergency room. The doctor could be heard saying I’m not seeing more patients I wanna get out of here. Didn’t examine just looked at my daughter and said she has a virus. In urgent care the next morning with bleeding tonsils and strep throat.

Lauren C

Heads up. If you are a new patient be aware they will say your appt is at “10am” but it’s really at “1030am”. They do this to make sure you get there early for paperwork even if it takes you 5 minutes so you just sit and wait and wait. Unfortunately this is a terrible terrible tactic I’ve never seen practiced elsewhere that impacts people who are ON A SCHEDULE and have places they need to be which is why they made the appt at the time they did. Bad first impression. Also even with them telling you 10 it’s not till 11 am that they call you back!!!!!

Gina Corbo

After waiting for over 4 hours yesterday, and a number of tests being performed before even seeing a Doctor! Blood work I understand, maybe even the head CT, but beyond that I didn't want to be going through all this radiation before even speaking to a Dr. I'm in the Veterinary Industry! Yes our beloved furry family members! Could you imagine if I were to just order all these expensive tests before even laying my eyes or hands on your pet! I think that's very negligent! After 4 hours, many tests, which were done in the first 30 minutes of being there, and freezing, but not even given a blanket when I asked for one nicely! The nurse told me yes all your tests are in we just don't have enough Doctors, so I informed them I was leaving! P.S. I had also checked the website for times before leaving home, which was stated at 2 hrs. and 45 minutes! In and out, but I was told ! Oh you can't go by that! Then why do you have it? Very disappointed! :)

I had a laser extraction of a bad ICD lead by Dr. Narula in late 2013. I was treated like a king by everyone.

Brendo R.

Best baby delivery hospital in town but the parking rank the worst. Good luck finding parking during business hours.

Edgar Ribachauskas

The doctor told my wife she was over weight and that was why she couldn't breathe. Went to different place and they said she had bronchitis and allergic reaction. Worst hospital staff

Migdalia Rojas

I went to this hospital thinking it was a good hospital. My son, 26 years old, woke up with a headache on a Saturday morning a year ago, and waited over 3+ hour. He was dizzy and in a great deal of pain. From the moment I got there it was a nightmare. The apathy was so thick you could cut it with a scissor. We trusted them as professionals and complied with everthing the nurses said. We never gave them a hard time. They drew some blood and did a CTscan and didn't have a room for him in the ER till the next day. In the meantime his condition deteriorated. He couldn't eat, couldn't go to the bathroom. They made us walk him to the bathroom, while he was dizzie all the time, the nurses were telling us not to baby him. At times the nurses laughed at us when we made suggestions. The IV was taken off because on sunday he ate some food. When we said he did eat but he threw it up they ignored us. I had to complaint because no one would come to clean the throw up in the bathroom. We had to change his gown. The Doctor came in the middle of the night and stood by the door not seeing that I was in the room because the lights in the room were off. He never examined him. The only thing he said to my son was that he was fine, just needed to excersise and loose some weght and was going to be discharged later that day. By this time my son was in such great pain that he screamed in agony. He screamed all day monday through Tuesday afternoon all the time the nurses were giving him migraine headache medication every hour. despite, telling them he has never suffered from migraine headaches. Then on Tuesday afternoon, after going through a screaming episode and the injection of migraine headache medication, my son passes away. He died an extremely painful death. Which could have been prevented had they put him in the ICU unit and in the care of a neurologist. There is so much more to this story but not enough time to share. Just want everyone to know that my Son was a collage grad. A new husband of 5 months, a loving son that never gave me grief, never smoked. Never consumed alcohol, no drugs and was loved by everone. He get awards at work for being the best employee. He never ever had the opportunity to be a father. At his funeral service we had approx 500+ people show up. This is a third world country experience right here in the United States where things like this should never have to happen to fairly healty young people.

frostbite2345

After living in Canada and experiencing their healthcare I am absolutely astounded at the level of care my grandfather received at St Rose. Within 15 hours my grandfather was addmited, diagnosed, went through surgery and is on the road to recovery. The staff, nurses and doctors have been exceptional. I have never seen this level of professionalism and genuine care before at any hospital. Thank you all so much. You are amazing people.

The Great Chili Shaker

I've been patient here many times. Best hospital in town.

Christi Cook

On Sunday 3/10/19 around 8am I took my son to the ER because he couldn't feel his arms and legs and was having trouble breathing. The triage nurse had zero compassion. My son suffers from anxiety and recently moved out of a home with mold. His symptoms run the gammet from one end to the other. She looked my son in the eyes and said "well you do have issues with anxiety and you've had these symptoms for a while so I don't think you're going to die today. There isn't much we can do for you except for a couple of tests" and then proceeded to shine her iphone flashlight down his throat. I was appalled. We left right away and I reported her to the charge nurse. We will NEVER RETURN TO THIS HOSPITAL. She was crass, classless, rude and everything the opposite of what an ER nurse should be.

nadia blessed

They have made an awful MESS of the parking! It's horrible!!! My daughter who has graves disease and is very sick had an appointment, and we literally spent 45 mins waiting for parking!!!! This was never like this until they started FLOSSING w all the millions put into a damn parking lot!!!! How about retraining these clowns for doctors out here! Disgusting. I had to call out of work for this inconvenience!!!! I will be changing providers.

Diana Davis

If I could give less than one star I would. Total lack of communication between staff and patient's families. Husband waited all day for doctor to release him. Finally, my daughter and I came to find him,on the phone we had been told he had been moved to another room, but they didn't know where. Found him, waited for doctor She never came but we finally got her on phone. She said he would have to wait until tomorrow. I signed him out. Also, their TV remotes (a minor thing) didn't work in either room.

Consuelo Gonzalez

Just had my baby last night. All the nurses that have been taking care of me were great!! I can't complain on any of them.

Taylor Cones

Had my baby here, awful nurse here. Just one I did not like. Very uneducated I think. Black women her name starts with an M. I had to go # 2 so bad she did not help at all I could not walk to restroom myself had a catheter so was on bed rest. She did not respond to me when I was saying to her I was having contractions she just comes in to check the damn monitor and leaves. After she left my contractions get tougher. So after my baby is born he’s sent to NICU. Everyday for 2 weeks we r told he is fine but at the last minute there is a problem and he is sent to another NICU cuz no one knows how to do there job. I am a new mom do they understand how upset and worried and scared I am about my son

Chris C

This is absolutely the worst health care facility known to mankind. My mother was diagnosed with a terminal condition and they have absolutely zero sense of urgency, opting to take lunch breaks before releasing my mom, delaying us for other important appointments we have scheduled. What's sad is it's such a beautiful facility with such horrible staff. I hope they fix this so future patients dont experience unfounded delays in emergency situations.

Sky Daze

0 stars the check in process was horrible I was treated so rudely next room gave me a wrist band she didnt talk next the room for vitals and the head nurse I'm guessing that is what she called herself was just mean kept asking me why I was there duh my foot is broken then she says we dont have a orthopedic here what can I do to make you happy really bishhh

Gregory Wyatt

my wife went in bc she was confused and her blood sugars were 800. Everything was going great until the male nurse Gabe asked her if she was suicidal. She replied "no, I like myself too much but I don't like other people too much so maybe that makes me homicidal". the other nurses in the exam room started laughing as did my wife. Well the doctor ordered insulin, pain meds, and nausea meds. Gabe only gave her nausea meds. When my wife ask about the others he said he wasn't going to give her anything else till they figure out what is wrong with her. She said you can't make that the decision you have to give me what the doctor ordered. He said he wasn't going to do it. So we called in the doctor and she agreed that it's not up to him. The doctor came in later and asked if I got my meds. She said she has received nothing. We heard the doctor giving him the YOU KNOW WHAT FOR talk. We were there for 5 hours and I asked a nurse what is taking so long and She said that my wife is on a psychiatry hold. We again called in the doctor and she said a nurse has that right but a doctor can evaluate her and make that decision. The doctor investigated and spoke to the other nurses and they all agreed that it was just a joke said in jest. Gabe lied to us and said that the other nurses agreed with him. but the doctor said that they didn't agree. He also lied to me and said that he did give me my pain meds, and insulin. That was a lie bc he made it clear that he wasn't. The nurse Gabe is a little anal. So whatever you do be careful of what you say. San Martin is the best along with Henderson Hospital. I have never had to wait there.

chris thompson

My son went to the ED for abdominal pain. The staff were very nice and the physician. As far as customer service it was a good experience. I am an ER nurse in another state so I a familiar with costs associated with an ED visit. He had IV's, CT with contrast of his abdomen and lab work. He was given normal saline IV fluids and two IV antibiotics for a diagnosis of diverticulitis. No pain meds were given (they asked if he wanted anything for pain, but he was driving and said no). The grand total for this 4 hour visit $18,352.00. This is absolutely insane. I figured the same costs where I work and I figured high, was no more than $8000. My son has insurance, however, he will still have a hefty out of pocket cost. This type of bill is why insurance is so unreachable for so many Americans and businesses.

Jeremiah 29

Took mother inlaw with severe side pain, waited 5 hours, nurse noticed rash while helping to put a gown on her, said nothing to Dr. After chest x-ray, CT scan, blood work, nothing found ( btw the do the same tests all the time) sent her home. Well, that rash tripled in size, primary next day diagnosed with severe case of shingles she ever saw! 93 yrs old and suffering. This s what happens when private people/ companies own hospitals.

marcus Kunda

Hospital looks nice and the staff is excellent . I d say policies are crazy and much more. No nursery is very strange but for great patient service I d recommend you invest in one you need the mother’s to relax and rest. I’m not really impressed and coming from Montana our health care for sure hands down meets patients needs a lot better to feel comfortable. Also they won’t bill you there worried about $200 when the insurance is paying $10,000 plus already . Thought that was funny when back home they can bill you just fine. Overall Vegas health care not great highest grade was a B for a hospital and back home we got a A so overall if you need good doctors and facility and you can go somewhere else go to salt lake or pheonix I d suggest. Even Californians I m sure has good facilities it ll be time worth spent . Staff though rating perfect

MJ Unhinged

A big BIG thank you to the ER Pediatrician Dr. Smith for helping our baby girl feel better. Poor thing has croup and already her fever has broke. My daughter was born at this hospital (your LnD and Maternity ward was amazing and so were the nurses), I have been to this ER twice for adult care with ovarian cysts, and now for my baby girl, and each time we have received excellent care. Always pleasant staff even in the middle of the night like tonight. Dignity Health, you have an amazing team and I will ALWAYS appreciate their hard work and dedication to the health and recovery of my family and myself. Thank you and God bless.

Megan Kinghorn

My second child was born at the St Rose location. I had a wonderful experience. Caring nurses, hospital was clean, organized and overall pleasant. I would recommend this hospital to others. If I had another child I would return to this hospital. Even the food I had during my stay wasn't that bad either.

Sian Family

For my labor and delivery my nurses were pretty awesome. They treated me very well and had great attitudes. Made my first time experience here a memorable one. THANK YOU.

amber dailey

We waited close to two hours after we were told by the ER nurse that we were being discharged. When we asked for an update we were told, "There are five of you and one of me. You will wait." The staff here come across absolutely miserable and the patient receives the brunt of it. This hospital appears to be a systemic disaster.

Barbara Barbara

My Dad come Dec. 27.2018. He was very sick from Sunrise Hospital.. He has very good attention as Emergency as floor room. The Doctors and Nurses has

Ryan Large

Excellent staff, the service while staying here provided by all doctors and nurses was pinnacle! I absolutely felt comfortable and at home. Siena Campus has large rooms for delivery and after labor. Any time my wife needed something it was brought to her with a timely fashion, we experienced an emergency while staying there and a nurse had been in our room within 3 seconds. Quick, professional, caring. The kitchen staff was also amazing. They did not waist any time bringing us into a room and making us comfortable. I thank St Rose.

Kendra Allen-Myers

If I could rate them 0 I would. What absolute garbage doctors. They don't care if you're in pain or dying. Just total trash! Drs contradicting nurses and nobody has a clear answer for anything, they make you wait and wait and send you home empty handed because they are trash. Should be shut down.

Katrina Neal

I highly suggest staying away from the emergency room. People from different departments yelling names, very rude intake RN. No comparison what so ever. Obviously sick sick patients being thrown towels and blankets and made to wait. It was explained the ER itself was short staffed, so oh well. Very unprofessional.

Christopher

My mother had a terrible experience here, hands down has to be one of the worst hospitals in the world. The CEO should be unemployed allowing a Hospital to run in such a poor unorganized manner. My 68 year old mother was rushed from urgent care to the emergency room with heart rates around 200 bpm and they said she was at serious risk of a heart attack. Once arriving at the ER she was checked in, told to take a seat and 4 hours later was seen. She complained of chest pains and was told I will let the Dr know but we are understaffed tonight. ^0 minutes passed before anyone come to see her, she was checked in and admitted to the hospital, they said she would have to stay in the ER all night until a room opened up the next day. While in the ER her alarm went off with blood pressure above 200 and not one person checked on her, the nurse later that morning told her someone should have came in to see what was going on. At 1:30 am she rang the call button 3 separate times to use the restroom. After 20 minutes she unplugged her own IV and walked by the nurses station while they we're all laughing and never said a word to her as she want to the restroom. At 7:30 am she was transferred from the ER to the Hospital patient rooms, she got to the room and settled in by 8:30, she was told by the nurse that the ER staff was to lazy to do the transfer during the night and she was sorry she had to spend the whole night in the ER. My mom then asked for food and she was told she missed breakfast and would have to wait until 12:30 for lunch, she was given 2 packs of saltine crackers to hold her over. Test's we're run all day and they couldn't figure out how to get her heart rate down. They said she would have to see a cardiologist but none we''re available so they just discharged her instead. 24 hours of wasted time and money in this place. I guess at the end of the day this review won't mean anything, they are riddle with poor reviews but appear to be making over 10 billion per year so at the end of the day the leadership sees things as successful since all the right pockets are being filled.

Nancy Rosas

The staff was great very patient with us and we were seen pretty fast. I will keep going back.

Pauline Hoffman

My Life was literally in Jeopardy the entire time with Dignity Health. Before you think this review is too negative you should know that I’m a Registered Nurse for over fifty years. My treatment at San Martin hospital campus for three days was both horrible and traumatic. In a hospital setting, the response to the call bell for a nurse is critically important. When a request is made a nurse should prioritize and check on the patient immediately. Your IV could have stopped, you might have fallen, must have help to go to the bathroom, etc. In this hospital no one would respond unless you rang the bell in the bathroom, which made them fear that you have fallen. I had to unplug my IV myself to go to the bathroom to ring the bell to get any assistance. I was left with an IV unhooked for thirty minutes which could have caused a life-threatening blood clot. I had a Nasal Gastric tube inserted incorrectly that caused pain and no one would respond to my complaints about the pain I continued to suffer from. Finally, I had to just remove it myself after two days. A nurse also did not set the IV drip rate correctly on a potassium IV, so it burned horribly, I would ring the bell, no response, family member tells the staff, still nothing. After twenty minutes she reduced it to 50% from 100% which demonstrates her incompetence. To top it off when I was discharged the discharge instructions were for another patient. It listed her vital information, all medications, diagnosis, etc. That is a serious violation of a federal regulation (HIPPA). So, to sum it up the entire time from admission to discharge: the level of incompetence, neglect, and indifference from the nurses, techs and doctors was staggering. In fact, the only thing they were good at was listening to request, smiling and reassuring you it would be taken care of and then just forgetting about it.

fs g

This place is a joke.drs and nurses cant read the board of the patient.dont follow directions.cant communicate with each other.how hard is it to call the patient's guardian.and on top of everything the nurses that aren't American dont have respect for no patients unless it's there own.

Hati Brubaker

We were in a car accident . The nurses are good but I don’t understand why the doctor did not show me the X-ray film and explain it to me. Instead , he just told me i have a fracture I have to see my orthopedic doctor whether they will do a surgery. The EDT who put a splint on my arm was not very happy to put the splint. We left without the X-RAY film and my doctor is asking for the CD. I tried to call the Radiology but it is always answering service. I am now in a quandary how to get the CD. I am not flying back to Vegas just for this.

Violeta Vranjkovic

The best!!!!! The best!!!! Nurses, staff, super kind attentive. I felt like I was in the best hospital in the world!

brent bailey

The Emergency Room experience is the WORST hospital wait time I have EVER had. Check in is great and then you WAIT your life away. Dont go here if you have something that is an EMERGENCY.. Go somewhere else..

richard bloecker

Complete breakdown in communications between different doctors and nurses. Hard to tell who's lying to you.. if possible do yourself a favor and seek help elsewhere. Pluses are they do have some very nice, smart nurses.. and meals were the best of any hospital I've been in.

shannell faletogo

My mom was in Vegas for a family reunion. She arrived on Monday (12/19) and was taken to the ER that Wednesday. She ended up getting g admitted because her oxygen level was too low. Long story short I loved all the staff that was assigned to her. They were very nice and always asked me if I needed anything as well. We were there for 6 days and was finally discharged and able to come back home to SEATTLE! Thank you again for taking good care of my mom.

R R

If you ever have an emergency go elsewhere. The most unorganized emergency department I have ever seen. Rude rude rude front reception. Triage is ridiculous if that's what you even call it. And since when can you or should you triage patients in front of everyone else waiting? Privacy much? Check in...wait an hour...EKG....wait an hour....blood work....wait an hour...urine sample....wait an hour. Admitted....wait 3 hours. See an actual doctor..4 hours. I understand everyone feels they are more important than the others waiting but that's not even the case here. It almost seems they do it on purpose as they sit there laughing amongst eachother and ignoring everyone. Growing up in Vegas I always thought these campuses were the best...not the case anymore. Drive a few more miles and get better care somewhere else...thank me later.

Qiang Zhu

Horrible experience ever!!!!!! The doctor is so impatient with my two year old boy. Keep criticizing my boy and my family. Unbelievable bad experience!!!!!!!!!

Jill Mayer

Emergency room visit. Very disappointed with the staff and billing department. I have very basic insurance and my son broke 2 bones in his arm. I expected to pay mostly out of pocket. Total ER charges were around $9000 and included two $1300 xrays and lab work for $613 which I heard a nurse say, “Why did they do blood work?” After they applied a splint, I went to another company for the cast and follow ups with multiple xrays. The xrays were only $100 at that clinic. I disputed the charges multiple times for the ER visit and was denied without a phone call as I requested. I still haven’t received a written response either. This is poor customer service and unethical billing.

Zaiya Kai

I went in with shortness of breath, they saw me within 45 minutes of walking in the door, took a chest xray. blood work, EKG - I felt very well cared for and I felt their sense of urgency. Compared to other ER's I've been to, I was impressed with how quickly I was moved through the system. The on staff nurses and doctor were also very compassionate and caring and explained everything in detail.

dee irvin

Nurses are very unprofessional, putting her 2 opionon into things more than once.Filing a report but not sure if it will help. To long of ER wait out were everyone is throwing up damn i did not want the flu..... old er was better,go to Henderson People

jennifer perry

Horrible hospital, dad came in for out patient surgery and has been in wait mode for 4 hours with no one coming in to tell is anything. Then this red haired nurse comes in and we ask her and she has a piss poor attitude and has no clue about anything. I guess this is so there is no one accountable for anything. Knowing you have surgery coming is stressful but to keep you on pins and needles about it for hours feels like emotional torture

Anne

Don't waste your time or energy on this hospital. Most incompentent and uncaring Dr's. and staff. How does someones belongings get stolen in the ER? The doctor was using my friends phone, they transfered him to another hospital without notifing anyone, and in that 15 min frame his bag was gone. Phone, wallet, I'D. ins card etc...still have never found it. Besides this, they just don't care. He should have never been transferred, when you are experiencing congestive heart failure. They transfered him to Mountains Edge at midnight. Who does that? He passed away within a month. It was very treatable. Siena Dr's and staff, I will never forgive you, I honestly hope you and your loved ones are treated with such direspect, and receive the same medical care that you give to others, ( or lack of).

J Myers

The staff lies and does not have the patients best interest in mind. I will never go to that hospital again. If I lived next door to this hospital, I would travel a hundred miles to a different hospital before I would go here! They will smile and pretend to care while they are lying straight to your face! Beware!

Debra Cunningham

Last experience for my Mother, not so good. Allowed her to go untreated with cellulitis in her hand from numerous blood draws. Hand arm red, swollen, unusable, then had to go to rehab unable to use arm. Finally treated after decent doctor at rehab facility addressed it, (this is 4 wks following onset) antibiotics hooray, can use arm now. What a miracle. I asked in hospital to address it but ignored.

Mike Covington

My son was delivered at St. Rose Siena Campus. The care and affection that were given by labor and delivery as well as postpartum were extraordinary. An extra big Thank You to Nurse Jewel and Nurse Kristin in Labor and delivery you truly care about what you do!

Monica Giordano

.Horrible hospital.I would give 0 stars.St Rose Dominican you deserve an "F" as a health care grade.I got a colostomy a month ago and I was hospitalized for colitis.I had to use my own Colostomy supplies because the hospital did not have any supplies.Nurses are so unprofessional and some of them rude as hell. They are very short in staff. You wait forever for everything that you need.I want my money back for all supplies I provided this poor hospital.

S McAllister

St Rose Dominican, Sienna Campus, YOU deserve an “F” as a health care grade. Beyond disappointed with the Pediatric ER Dr at St. Rose Dominican, Siena Campus. This morning my 7 yr old fell down outside and bit his tongue at 7:30am,11/15/2018. The laceration was deep & large. Immediately, I took him to the ER at St. Rose Dominican, Sienna Campus, in 11/14/2018, at approximately 8am. After a brief wait we were called back & my son was examined at the Pediatric ER by Dr. Tolentino. The Dr said they do not normally suture tongue lacerations unless it is severe. She also said tongue heals quickly and if they were to suture it the sutures can cause it to become infected. I expressed my concern and informed her that the laceration was deep and seemed large to me. Again the Dr reiterated They don’t suture tongue lacerations, it’s quick healing, & can become infected if sutured. The Dr stated I could give my son Tylenol or Motrin for pain and discomfort. From there, my son was discharged. Four hours later, my son showed me his tongue and just from the depth and size of the laceration it made me feel completely uneasy! I called the Pediatric ER at St Rose Dominican, Sienna Campus and spoke with a lady from the nurses’ desk who identified herself as Ashley. I explained how my son was there earlier in the morning and expressed my concerns of how large and deep the laceration was. Additionally, I expressed how uncomfortable I felt not having it relooked at. Ms. Ashley stated the Dr’s will not suture a tongue laceration unless it’s pretty much jagged/split like a snake’s tongue. Again I reiterated how deep it was. Ms. Ashley then said in an irritated tone, “well you can take him somewhere else for a second option.” With that being said I hung up and immediately called Healthcare Partners Pediatrics. At 1:30pm, I took my son to see the Pediatrician. The Dr. at HPP said she was very surprised the ER Dr. did not suture my son’s laceration due to how deep and large it was. The Dr. asked if my son was given an antibiotic? I told her no then provided the HPP Dr. all of the discharge papers from St Rose. The HPP Dr. reviewed them and shook her head in a “no motion.” The HPP Dr prescribed an antibiotic (Clindamycin Palmitate Hydrochloride) for mouth bacteria to avoid infection. Additionally, the Dr said even if she were to send me to a different ER it was most likely too late to get sutures due to the amount of time that had past. St Rose Dominican, Sienna Campus, YOU deserve an “F” as a grade for poor health care! You should look into getting better doctors for your Pediatric ER

Larry Ross

I have NEVER experienced such horrible service in my life. As I sit in the ER with my mother right now, I would suggest you never bring anyone you love or care for to this hospital. The staff has absolutely no idea what they're doing. People like my mother are in extreme pain and instead of being seen they are spending hours in the waiting area. My mother was brought here by ambulance barely able to sit up then sent to the wait area by wheelchair and told she would be seen shortly. That was 3 hours ago. They told her she would be administered pain meds then said there are no beds so she'll have to wait out the pain until something becomes available. I am disgusted by this place. I would bring worse enemy here. This "hospital" should be shut down!

john heath

My injury kept bleeding staff said it was ok Ihad to return later it was still bleeding. I was disappointed with the care i received.

Lung-Chang Chien

My wife was giving a birth here a couple of weeks ago. Here I want to thank all nurses who were taking care of my wife and newborn pretty well.

I'm in disbelief of the horrible service I received. Actually let make it more clear the service my four month old son did not receive. On December 13, 2017 we arrived at the emergency room at 11:30 PM due to the fact that my son had fever and was having difficulties breathing b/c of his cold. When we got to the emergency room two nurses took his vitals and they could not decide if he was congested they were disagreeing of the care to provide to an infant in front of the me. Finally, they send us to the pediatrics waiting room and we sat there for four hours with no updates, no care, absolutely nothing, nurses would not even bother to come check if he's fever was increasing which I found outrageous. I ended up leaving for their lack of care. WONT BE RETURNING TO THIS DANM HOSPITAL!
