This place is horrible! The staff is of no help. Playing phone tag will be what you have to do when dealing with this establishment. They have no resources what so ever, and their Social Services deparment is a joke. Would rather go to Spring Mtn vs here. They need new management, and learn how to deal with customers professionally. The director of Social Services was no help at all!

Shane Johnson

Child has mental and behavioral issues. Assults a staff member and the answer is her problems are behavior and she is being discharged. You are a Behavioral Hospital, She is not safe when she assults staff and needs a shot to calm down. Calling CPS on the parents does nothing but lend support to the fact that the child needs more help then a parent can give and apparently more then you so called professionals can give. This is one parent who fights for their child, and I am just getting warmed up.

Annette Graziano

Great services and options.

Nichelle Groover

The receptionist was so rude to the point my friend listening to the call felt disrespected. I had a very simple question and she just said no and hung up. If she doesn't like her job she should find another one. When I called back Sade was very friendly and kind but did have to send me back to the same lady who was yet rude AGAIN. Is it time for quarterly customer service training? Thank you for assisting to your best Sade and who ever that rude lady was, try someone else to transfer your nasty negative energy to. Peace and Blessings

This place has no empathy or understanding of adolescent mental health. The therapist is the only good person there. They don't try to help and have too many rules for kids under 18.

Sean Mcfarlin

Nice group of people working hard make your life better and every way can you make your eyes very well

Where do I start? I did 6 weeks inpatient care at this facility. Unfortunately, you don't get all the groups or therapy even though they are charging your insurance for it. A nurse almost gave me the wrong medications. (I know what I take, but imagine if I was really unable to advocate for myself.) Not only do you not get all the groups, they take away things that relive the stress of being there. Psych techs laugh in your face, you get no sleep because they allow patients to scream down the hallways all night long. I also did approximately 1 week of outpatient care trying to complete treatment. Up until they told me they would be longer be providing transportation 1 hour prior to group starting knowing that was my only way of getting there. Saying they didn't have enough staff. Knowing how much my bill is for my insurance there is absolutely no reason for there not to be enough staff. After being put in the wrong outpatient program twice. The staff is completely incompetent. When I was inpatient they made up the excuse of cutting cost. However, the managers went on some managment retreat. The patients suffer so the management staff can go on lavish retreats. I have never seen a psych hospital more unstable than the patients. This is not a place to get well folks. This is a place to keep you sick so they can keep charging your insurance. Steer clear of this place yes it's newer, but inside is filthy unless the CEO comes them they attempt to have their stuff together. They give you bolona sandwiches for a snack that is left out and made me very ill. They treat you like you're in jail instead of the hospital. Also, it is impossible to see a doctor in outpatient. So, find your own. Even though you will be told you will see a Dr. When you leave inpatient. Dr. Mayes is Incredible but that's about it. Family meetings don't go well. Just go somewhere else. If you are on a legal ask for a transfer. UPDATE: the transportation issue has been resolved and everything is now going smoothly.

This place was supposed to make me not want to kill myself, but the only thing it did was spike tspike thlse feelings. Whenever there is a certain smell or color or song, I get a wave of even harder depression, overflowing my cup that is already full. Parents, do not send your child here, send them to spring mountain or monte Vista, but not here. This place with change you for the worst, wether the depression, PTSD, or the fact that the staff have no good training.

Unfortunately I was held hostage, threatened & tortured in this building for 24 days from 7/13/14---8/6/14.

I’m 14 and I went here around the beginning of summer. It was hell. The staff was incredibly rude and wouldn’t help me at all. I have a lot of problems with noise and when it gets to loud i have a panic attack and shake like crazy. When I told the tech It was getting too loud and I don’t know what to do he just said to deal with it. Not a great first day. When I had a anxiety attack they wouldn’t give me my medication. And the tech made me feel horrible and belittled us when we got in trouble. The only person i liked the was one of the nurses I think her name was holly? Other patients threatened to fight me and one of my friends I made their left early because it was only making her worse. The lunch ladies were so mean and I get nervous and when she asked me if I wanted something I said sure and she reacted rudely and talked about that if her child said that to her she would hit them. I hate this place and it only made me worse. If anyone thinks about going here DONT!!

Insurance not accepted for outpatient treatment, only inpatient!

I'm a survivor of Route 91. I attend the group sessions at Desert Parkway on Tuesday afternoons. These group sessions help me so much. The counselor Lugiana is a great counselor. She listen to our stories and helps us solves our problems. I enjoy the group meetings, because we can get through this tragedy together instead of trying to make it on our own. I have been going to these meetings for two months now and wouldn't change it. Upon of the group meetings, the building is nice and clean and to also to keep us from being nervous they also gave us snacks and water. Thank you Route 91 counseling

Nothing was said to me, nothing beneficial came out of this hell hole. To say this place was unpleasant is only if you scratch the tainted surface. They tell you NOTHING about when you might leave or how you improved. You just sit there for hours doing little with only a group room for tv and.. that's about it. One hour of therapy, but only in a group. This place is supposed to help mentally UNSTABLE individuals, when all they do is ridicule you and or make you feel isolated. There was one girl there who was kept for weeks because her mother refused to pick up the phone and call back! It's almost as if its a prison facility, sure seems that way behind all the locked doors and windows. One time a marker went missing from the art supplies, the lady nearly made us all strip our pants off just so she could confirm we weren't trouble. They claim that the program is meant to heal, but I never felt comfort, and only when I faked a smile did they let me go. Didn't even have a goddamn doctor for 4 DAYS. I can't remember all that happened in that hell hole, but they sure know how to make a kid feel unwelcome and alone. Oh and another thing. You get to bring nothing in that may be sentimental or calming. I tried to request my mother bring in my plushies, that wouldn't happen. I was so god damn lonely and angry because I had NOTHING to keep me going! They claim to teach "coping mechanisms" while also not providing the tools that are needed to proceed with these actions. Dr.Singh was always gone for me and promised certain discharge dates and never came close to fulfilling his promises. There was a girl shoved into the place because her father said they were going to vegas, only then did he tell her that the hospital would be her "hotel". Poor girl was left there for weeks! We were all mistreated and they always lingered the threat of "long term" over our heads. I hope that if a struggling parent is reading this, they see just how unacceptable this facility is.

Bex Leigh

Extremely rude staff at the front desk and on the 877 number line. Hung up on me several times and refused to transfer me to the correct doctor. It doesn’t take much effort to just be kind and do your job.

Brenda Tucker

Great staff, caring and honest. Helped in so many ways and really listened to what we needed. Thank you

Worst hospital I have ever seen. When I tried to discuss my child's release time and place they became upset. The night supervisor(Shirese) told me that she knew nothing about my child and that kids are sleeping when she works. She explains that any problems or complaints are dealt with only during day shift. She informed me that it is this hospitals procedure to call C. P. S. On every patient that goes A. M. A. Any patient that complains or leaves before they are done getting all the time allowed by insurance is A. M. A.

Erin D

The worst run facility I have ever seen. And they wouldn't let me leave!!! They say it isn't prison, but even prison has to let you out. I was on a 72 hour hold that turned into 6 days. And if you are in any way disruptive, they just give you a shot that puts you out of commission for a few days. If anyone you care about is in here, get them out ASAP. This place is just plain scary.

My son was placed at this facility on a Wednesday afternoon. We waited in a small room for three hours for him to be admitted. I literally spoke to the admitting social worker for 30 seconds about his history and care. They did not give him his prescribed medication that evening (even though I brought it). They did not give him his prescribed medication Thursday morning that he has been on for six years. I called and complained and was told the doctor hasn't seen him to order the medication. I advised that this is unacceptable and called the patient advocate and the nurse. Within minutes they had an order- odd huh? He still didn't receive his morning medication until noon that day. They still did not give him one of his prescribed medications in the evening until two days went by. In addition his first night his roommate cheeked his pill and ground it up in front of him and snorted it. The second roommate threatened to kill him and we were never consulted about this. We found out from him. I saw absolutely no benefit of him going to this facility. We tried to check him out on Saturday but couldn't because, again, no doctor available. This is supposed to be a hospital right? We were going to check him out against medical advice and were told insurance wouldn't cover it if we did. Turns out, after calling on Monday, they will cover it and facilities often tell people that.

devon Smith

I'm gonna leave 2 reviews. This one is dedicated to Dr. Singh and a tech named Alvin, these two people have no compassion for the people that are there. Alvin literally tried to start a fight with me and to the doctor we are just dollar signs. He will not give you more than 2 minutes of his time.

Thank you Desert Parkway for giving excellent service to our community. The staff always goes above and beyond for their patients, and the therapists offer top care. I trust this hospital with my clients, and I recommend Desert Parkway to my trusted network.

They like to give the meds.... Im not sure if they really can help anyone but if you like your meds (not many do) but they love giving them.. It could be there clam to fame..

I'm 15 I was there for 5 days & theres a few staff in particular that will disrespect the duck out of u. I think Michelle.. is the lady w the short (to her ears ) gray hair. She didnt help me at all and told me to lay down when I was clearly sick as hell and couldn't THERES A HOSPITAL LITTERALY DOWN THE STREET. When I first got there I realized my pillow case was inside out , went to fix it THERE WAS CRUSTED SOMETHING

Shelley Gleim

The food was great and group therapy was nice. There is no personal therapy or care. It is very busy and people are herded in and out.

Just spoke w girl Melania or m something I was in medicine for 18 to 20 years She was rude unprofessional. Since I was told by physicians to leave AMA i need a copy of the notes. Since I was told call back. I texted attorneys i have. Thanks to a few staff there they helped. All I called of just now i also recorded.

The most awful 2 weeks of jail I can imagine in the United States. Sedated me with heavy meds even when I was sleeping well and feeling very normal without any meds at all. Finally when they brought the dosage down I had a bad reaction to the combination they gave me and was very dizzy and couldn't breathe well at all. Then they gave me the same meds anyway when I was very clear to tell them of my reaction. When I took heavily sedating meds that they said I had to take if I ever wanted to get out of there and finally woke up the staff member that was there all night made a comment when I was on my way to go back to sleep "do you want some more rape". I had felt very strange when I woke up, like my body was taken advantage of..... when I asked for a rape kit they waited until well into the next couple days and ordered a test for a urinary tract infection and avoided my request. The staff member also said "that's right, wash your panties" when I did wash.

Eleecia Garland

I don't think they pay these employees alot. Poor pay is a breeding ground for nasty attitudes. The desk answering service is very rude and nasty. Vicky to be specific was very cold and unprofessional when dealing with a few simple questions. My first question was cut off mid sentence. When person has to call a place like this, to look for loved ones they are hurting. If Desert Behavior hospital would take the time and hire truly compassionate individuals, thier reviews would be better. It must be hard working with the mentally ill. So it takes a special person with a soul made of love,to deal with people in a kind way. .... It's not that I didn't like her answer. It was the cold and harsh way the information is conveyed. Have some more respect for your fellow human.

I love this place

I was here a couple years ago and I was pregnant and they give me something to abort and im a devoted Catholic . I did get the help I needed but I would never go back again

I remember when I first got here they were making fun of my roommate for the situation they found him in. I made lots of friends so the stay wasnt as bad as I thought it would be. They tell you that you arent allowed to hold onto a piece of paper with people phone numbers or something to keep in contact with after you got out so that kind of sucked. It's been over a year since I've been out and the only name I remember is my roommates which is Michael Jackson. If you read this, hit me up bro. And the girl in the navy blue hoodie we played that one game with fact or false or whatever. My name is Will, I dont know if you remember me or not but let's talk again. This is worth the try!

Darnell Harrison

For a behavioral and mental health facility they sure know how to drive people nuts.

Cali Made

Be very careful seeking help from this hospital. They admit people at times who do not need acute care to milk the insurance company. They keep patients longer then needed to milk the insurance company. When they discharge a patient who may not have a ride or a home to go to, they don't care. And if a discharged patient hangs in the front waiting for help, they will call the police on them. They have had several incidents of staff members physically & sexually assaulting the patients, including the youth. The CEO & Human Resources do not support honesty and excellent patient care. They also train their staff to manipulate documentation so the insurance claims will be paid. They will not provide basic needs such as scrubs. A patient will not get the therapy that is needed. For the most part patients of all ages are expected to sit in a dayroom 80% of the time. The kitchen staff is horrible and treats the patients like prisoners. And if patients ask for extra snacks they are told NO, because the hospital would rather fund large payrolls instead of feeding hungry patients. The doctors and pharmas are best friends and the patients are prescribed several meds which most of the time are not needed. You will leave worse then when you arrived. If you stub your toe they have a psych med for that, as they wish to have u as a zombie, so you are unaware of what is transpiring. Several of the employees are involved in romantic relationships, which at times there are physical interactions in the patients rooms and the administration turns a blind eye to it. There are a few chosen techs, therapist & nurses that do care about patient care. But, for the most part this is a corrupt hospital, that hides their dirt with a new building and lies. I am a former employee who was a witness to all mentioned.

Have never been in this kind of facility and scared the hell out of me. The nurses were slow and pharmacy even slower. The only good thing was some of the staff actually helped me more than my original therapist. Without a couple of them to talk to, I probably would of gone all Looney Tunes and still would be in there. I would suggest they air out the elevators after cleaning and change the disinfectant to something better smelling. I will never go there again. If that is what it is like to be arrested I can guarantee I will never be arrested. They will have to kill me first. Did it help me? In some ways yes. In others NO.

My son was just released from this hospital, while being in Their for seven days their food was nasty, at night he was refused water to drink when asked and if he did ask staff would get angry. They medicated that him so much he was like a zombie for the first four days. The doctor wouldn't listen to him when he was describing how he was feeling, she keep changing and twisting everything my son would say to her. She even tried to say he was schizophrenic when that was not so. When I called to get my son put back on his adhd meds I was told by the doctor that my son was mis diagnosed with adhd and didn't need his adhd meds. Then I started thinking how can you tell if he is still adhd when you have him on such a high dose of sleeping pill that he slept 90%of the time he was their. Of course he is not going to show signs of adhd on all those meds. When I was called about giving him a new med I agreed to that but I didn't agree to the other meds they were giving him on top of the respridone. I agreed to that one and over the counter meds, not the depression meds. My son is home now and he is doing good. All the meds this place had put him on to go home with was put in the trash by a mental health provider. The mmh doctor that he seen yesterday put him on meds that don't make him sleep all day, back on his adhd meds. Once your adhd you never grow out of it. And if your all drugged up how can you tell that child is not adhd. I don't have anything good to say about my experience with this hospital. The doctor don't listen to the parent, the staff on the children's floor don't give water at night to the kids, when you ask for water to much they get angry, the food is nasty, my son didn't really eat and when he got out he ate a lot, the good things Is that the lady who did the family meeting was awesome she listened, the front office lady was nice. Those are the only good things I can say. So one star from me.

This place is a joke . They have now held my brother in law and my husband longer than needed just to make money and they admit to the patients if they have insurance that'll cover it they hold them longer. They make people lose their jobs due to being held there and THAT'S what makes people deptessed. Place is a sick joke and needs to be shut down IMMEDIATELY !

Kyle Dunlap

Wonderful experience with staff here. I referred two family friends that were treated with respect, professional courteousy and dignity. The facility is new, the lobby is inviting and overall very conducive to positive healing. Desert Parkway really cares about their local community.

My wife spent a week. She had a good experience. Crystal was so compassionate and understanding upon intake. She was treated good. We would recommend this facility. DR Maze was amazing treating my wife!! Thank you to the the staff and Dr's for caring for my wife and making it a comfortable experience

My wife was on a Legal 2000 here. She received 30 min of therapy a day. Told visits only Tue., Thur. & Sun. Law says Every Day. Doesn't eat meat but not allowed a substitute unless you count P-B&J sands. T.V., coloring books and smoking 85% of the time. Horrible excuse for a behavioral health hospital! I have Excellent Insurance! THE BILL WILL BE CORRECT THOUGH, BET ON THAT!! Try Monte Vista. They know what they're doing!

Diane Carroll

I was in there from May 30-june 5. My Dr was Mayes and he was good and understanding. The groups with Sandy and Billy were also very helpful. The food was not bad. BUT... The nursing staff and techs were one royal pain in the ass!! I'd ask them a question and they would either ignore me, answer with a quick non understandable response or make up the rules as they went along. I could talk to any person in authority there and all of them gave different answers. THERE MUST BE AN ORDER is what I heard more than anything. Jasmine and Gwen (techs at night) were very nice. Nihru was as non compassionate about patients concerns as you can get. I even told her that between being loud and your tone, you're not helping anybody. I started outpatient therapy on Friday and it was horrific. I'll give it one more day.

Stay away. Just left early am. Doctor has me on Vistaril but wrote Trazadone, food isn't fit for a dog, 30 mins to eat. Unit ice cold. Got sick. Staff had the same answer for everything.

Amazing people with exceptional professionalism and a great support to our staff and children. Keep up the good work!!

I was referred to Desert Parkway by my psychiatrist do to my panic disorder and major depressive disorder. I was having trouble with my medications which I still am however upon arrival to this place all of the staff was extremely friendly and compassionate. Autumn was my evening nurse and she was phenomenal and patient with me as well as Karen, Larry, Brian and there were some other people as well but I can't specifically remember their names. In any case when I arrived for my panic disorder, due to my past medical history with behavioral hospitals, they slapped a legal 2000 on me which of course I was not happy about. But, my doctor, his name was Dr. Mayes, new that was not necessary and removed it immediately I was released within 34 hours of being there instead of the typical five to seven days that they normally hold patients. Not only did he release me early he was absolutely understanding he listened and he spent more than 5 minutes with me like most typical psychiatrist do he spent a good half-hour going over my history and letting me speak which is a very rare quality in a doctor. Unfortunately Dr. Mayes does not have his own practice anymore but he absolutely needs to open one up again and the moment he does I definitely will be one of his patients. Most of the people there are therefore technically the same thing and you build bonds with them. Though I have don't give out my phone number to them, we support each other while in the hospital. The only reason why I'm giving them four stars is because the food was absolutely horrible and I'd rather starve than have to eat that food ever again.

I'm a survivor of Route 91 suffering with PTSD. I was referred to Desert Parkway by a friend LiShey Johnson. It took me awhile to finally attend a group. I'm so glad I came. Our therapist Luciana is caring, attentive, very compassionate and she loves what she does..Helping people get better and understanding that what we're going through is normal. I just love her and would recommend this facility to anyone in need of help. We're in a brand new facility, clean and comfy. She even provides us with snacks every Tuesday that we meet at 6pm...Come join us!!

My 13 year old daughter was at this hospital for a week and was given unauthorized medication which made her sick for a week and put her in a zombie like state. The staff didnt care what happened and when she was the last juvenile there they had NO structure of counceling she was told to just color.... Very horrible hospital dont trust them at all!!!!

They don't know how to Bill insurance and the staff don't know what they're doing.

They released my son without giving him any medication to stabilize his mental illness condition, Dr Singh didn't even evaluate and diagnose him, wasted time and energy trying to get help for my son there, releasing someone who hear voices and has suicidal tendencies without treatment is unacceptable and unprofessional.

Latrice Williams

Very good HOSPITAL TO WORK AT

Edward Brown

This place is horrible!!! They put up a great facade, but if you have family who work here or know anyone who's been a patient here, you'd know just how cheap, inefficient, and UNCARING of their patients and employees they are. This is truly a business focused strictly on the money aspect and NOT the people aspect. But, then, hey, that's just my opinion.

James Robillard

My wife has cancer. They knew that when she was taken in. The people there give you no information. She did not see a Dr until very late in the 3rd day. I am her husband and they would tell me absolutely nothing. I believe that it is an insurance based business. They keep you if you have good insurance and if you don't you are out of there. This place should be investigated. They are not helping anyone.

IAM LAVAL

This is the worst hospital that I have been to in my life. Their services are so disorganized. It is absolutely impossible for outpatients to see the Doctor, paperwork is always screwed up and the staff make excuses for that instead of correcting the issues. I would not recommend this place to anyone for treatment! They truly only care about milking your insurance for all they can. Complete waste of time!

TANYA PAGE JONES

This is a great place to get the help needed, those who want the help will find it a great beginning to a better way of life. They really help my son get on the right path. Thank you

i came here around march of 2018 for inpatient care for a week and a half and they refused to give me visaril during a panic attack even though i hadnt had one that day. they isolated so many people including me. i just hope that josh and joseph from the adolescence unit have been fired

If you have to be treated at a behavioral health facility, this is the one to go to. Majority of the stuff was great. They were attentive and compassionate, encouraging steps for recovery without being pushy. The food was pretty good. In fact, Meal Time became my favorite part of the day. There were a number of helpful groups that were conducted. The designated cigarette breaks were a little hard to get used to especially not being able to have the first cigarette of the day until a couple hours after we got up comment but the staff tried to be as accommodating as possible while staying within the facility's rules. Only reason I didn't give desert Parkway a 5-star rating is that I hadn't couple altercations with one staff member in particular. None of the patients were too fond of her, as she tended to be more of a prison warden than a mental health tech. The major problem I had was the day that I was discharged, they only brought me a few of my personal effects and they told me that was all they had for me when I asked. As I started to drive away I realized that I had a belt and a hat and some other items were missing so I insisted they check again. Sure enough they found the rest of my stuff except for one very important thing, my Samsung tablet. They claimed they would check into it and get back to me. I was discharged almost 4 months ago and I have never heard a word from them on this matter, even though I have followed up on four separate occasions and they have given me the same answer. The health Tech that helps with my intake had taken it out of my car to avoid it being damaged by the Heat. I'm about to follow up for the 5th time but I don't understand why they didn't just ask the health Tech has helped me.

My daughter was admitted after she was having thoughts to hurt herself. Dr. Hasija was excellent. She was kind, thoughtful, compassionate, and caring. I want to say thanks to Dr. Hasija and the staff on the adolesant unit, my daughter is doing great.

Great place when I was feeling suicidal. They really made me not think about anything that would hurt. Made some great friends and the doctor got me on some meds that are helping me to this day

I’ve been to mental hospitals 7 times (my stay here wa any 7th time) and I have had bad experiences with all of the hospitals except for this one. The staff was the nicest staff I’ve ever encountered, the other patients were so caring and nice I met some very great friends here, I am an adolescent so I was on the adolescent unit. If your child is going through a hard time I recommend sending them here.

10 weeks ago today I started the outpatient program at Desert Parkway. I was addicted to opiods...actually I will always be addicted but no longer use. The program helped me to find my way to stop. I was able to find me again with the group sessions and staff support. I have only the highest praise for these wonderful people. Their training, experience and compassion help those who are ready. I was ready and my life is back again.

My daughter was sent to this place by an ER doctor. As she should have. The doctor didn't know what was wrong with her. She was hallucinating. The ER doctor didn't know what was wrong since her tox screens came up negative. She was there for a 3 day hold. (put her on suicide watch). What the hell. That's not why we took her to the hospital. I was told she was required to see a doctor within 24 hours. She has been there for 2 days now and still has not seen a doctor or has she had her med's. Her med's are very important. I keep calling about this and the intake department said "I have to go now" and hung up on me. In other reviews about this place is true because we have had the same experience. When you ask a tech something, they ignore you. She needs her med's. It has taken us a year to find the right med's for her and she is finally back to normal but this place just set us back. I was told she would see a doctor the first night and the second night and still no doctor. I wonder if a doctor or nurse is on staff. You only see techs. And in a previous post they wrote about visiting, it's true that the patient has the right to have visitors everyday. I am going to make phone calls to authorities about this to see what can be done.

Frustrating doctors who don’t really do much. I feel like they care more about the dollar signs there than patients. I’m just glad that my doctor didn’t try to put me on a bunch of meds. The staff (meaning nurses and social workers) are awesome and very helpful/ caring but there seems to be no direction from the top and it shows in the cracks at the hospital. They were almost as frustrated as I was so I can’t imagine working there. I’m grateful that the staff was there because I would have felt more insane if I had been dealing with rude staff and doctors. I can honestly say that the staff made me feel more stable and understood than my doctor ever did. He just made me feel insane any time I met with him ( a total of 2 times in my 4 day stay). Would have been a match made in heaven if the psychiatrist had the same drive to assist as they do. It’s a shame honestly.

Great place! Every time we referred a client they all have a great experience. I also did a tour very nice facility and the food was great.

You are just a number at this place. No compassion and care for the patients. It amazes me how people choose careers when they are NOT DEDICATED TO THE PROFESSION THEY HAVE CHOSEN. It seems to me certain individuals care more for their own success than the people they were hired to asssist. SAD.................

I work for a ministry called teen challenge and we had a student come in that was detoxing alcohol. We had a very hard time finding a bed at west care due to over capacity. When I reached out to desert parkway at the time they were full, but Tim Hardin their community liason wasted no time in finding another option, within a few hours he found spring valley behavioral health had a bed open and intaked him. Today that same student is now one of our top students in teen challenge and has a complete new start to life and it started with the dedication and hardwork of Tim Hardin and the desert parkway behavioral health facility. I highly recommend them.

The building is still under maintenance and I believe they are performing some remodeling. The place is very clean everything's brand new and the are is closed from foot traffic.

YOU GUYS ARE STILL BREAKING THE LAW?!? PATIENTS ARE ALLOWED VISITORS EVERY SINGLE DAY ACCORDINF TO NRS 433.482!!! YOU WERE DOING THIS 3 YEARS AGO, TOO!! STOP BREAKING THE LAW!!!!! Also. Dr. Singh needs to find a new profession or take on less patients. He doesn't care about them. Just getting paid.

Elda Iacobellis

Support staff and doctor's are amazing I recommend this facility to any that's looking to get help! Thank you all

If you're sane and just needing a break, I do not recommend this place. You will leave questioning your sanity. The building is clean, a few of the Techs are very nice, and the food is decent. But those Nurses sitting at the desk are rude. You'll be waiting nearly 3 hours in a small cold room to be admitted which is ridiculous. Whoever does the transferring of phone calls which I assume are the Nurses needs to be fired. One hung up on us, another transferred us to the children's unit when the patient was clearly an adult. The daily routine is wake up, get vitals, go to breakfast, go to an enclosed patio for a "smoke break", see a Dr, watch TV and repeat for the rest of the day. Rehabilitation isn't a word you would associate with this business.

I attend Tuesday night Therapy Group Sessions. I've been to several other therapy centers and for me, this has been the most professional, caring, loving, dedicated center that I've come across in Las Vegas. They also provide lite refreshments and care about my day. They listen and you're heard.!!! I'VE come along ways, but still a ways to go, but I look forward to my weekly sessions. I wish it was twice a week. Kyle, Wendy and Ms Jones- I Thank you from the bottom of my heart. TRAUMA AND PTSD IS REAL. Come out and learn a few tools on what to do prior to the Triggers.

Cause everyone is almost as crazy as me.

I was a patient here and the techs were amazing. Unlike other treatment centers you're an actual person, not just a number or an amount of money. There only reason I gave four stars and not five is because the doctors. I've actually been treated by two different doctors here and both times the doctor was out on vacation and when he did get back in her wouldn't listen to what was going on. Then when I told him I wasnt physically ready to be released he didn't care. He dismissed my feelings and when I was put out I had a seizure after about 30 minutes of being in the heat. I was still very weak, to be expected considering what I was there for, but neither doctor, either time listened. There are a couple other things but it all has to do with the doctors. Everything else about this establishment five stars.

Thank you for your amazing work in a much needed field of recovery, during this very important crisis we face as a nation. Inevitably you staff will be saving countless valuable lives!! Everyone in your organization deserves a congressional commendation for devoting their lives to saving the lives of others! Keep up the good work, you give hope to those who suffer and their families.

So my son was discharged from the hospital without proper medication of his ADHD medicine and all supervisor seem to not know how to get a prior authorization code to the insurance company seven days later my son still does not have his medication he was on medicine and then all of a sudden ripped off the medication how healthy is that and then the supervisor told me it's not the problem this is where the money is going to this facility my son is 14 years old I think it should be on channel 13 news they're just checking the tax money and does not care about the patient they treat them for the two weeks to get some money and then release them back into society without proper Healthcare and proper medication I'm sorry but when you were being released from a mental institution there should be proper medication until the next doctor visit not only 24 hours. So if something happens to my son desert Parkway will be liable right

Ellie’s Apple tree

I was there 7 months ago and the only part I liked about this place is the food and a couple techs(which are risa,Steve and Salem)i was constantly asking for my birth control that my mum brought me and they didn’t care .i would wake up In the middle of the night and ask for water but they’d yell at me to go to bed

Horrible waste of time. I mentioned 3 times my child was autistic (once over the phone before even coming in) and then finally after waiting an hour to be seen by the Dr. they told me they don't see autistic children. Really!
