What a clown show. Taking first come first serve instead of need. Would rather travel 20 mins farther to get seen.

Changing my view on this place. Absolutely horrible in many ways. There is no consistency in this hospital and seems to be a horrible place to bring anyone. More to say but not enough room. Very disappointed over all.

Angel Allen

I will never go here not even for a simple cough worst experience ever!

It’s always the same thing with this place. Wait and wait while your waiting. Money hungry pigs who run unnecessary tests for $$$$$ I doubt there is more than 1 doctor in the entire hospital at any given time. I don’t blame the staff who genuinely seem like they don’t care about their jobs. After all they probably get paid poorly. I blame ownership.

Shameka Davis

I live in the 5th and Ann Rd area and whenever I have an emergency , I will drive to this hospital verses going to North Vista. They charge you twice at this hospital....one for the hospital(supplies) and one for the doctors.

The WORST hospital in Las Vegas! You have to call a nurse a million times for them to come. They literally didn’t feed my significant other for 24 hours and it had nothing to do with dietary restrictions. They just forgot. Everything takes forever. The nurses are idiots and treat patients like children. Avoid!

Great experience, my nurse was so caring and tried so hard to help me. If possible, 6 out of 5 stars.

I had a total joint replacement 3-12 and I have been in the medical field for 32 years in Canada and I can say without a doubt this hospital and the people are top shelf. Everyone I came into contact with from housekeeping to food staff to Dr and nurses etc all were fabulous. The private room was spotless, the food choices were great, the care was exactly what was promised. Very little delay if any when the call button was pushed and the staff actually cared, they asked questions, nothing was a bother to them and the communication was excellent. There is something to be said about private healthcare vs "free" in Canada... you can see the differences.

Had some heart issues! They got me right in to the emergency room the nurses and Dr were awesome!! I have no complaints !!

My Aunt was transferred via ambulance from an Arizona hospital to Centinneal Hills. They have been running tests on her for at least 24 hours and she has yet to speak with an actual doctor! This is ridiculous, unprofessional and inconsiderate.

My mom cut the tip of her finger off and needed it sown back on. Sheuse to be an er nurse so she put it bacn on just need the doctor to sow it on. The place was empty and reattching skin is a time matter she got there with plenty of time. Except her doctor decided he needed to eat breakfast and had a sandwhich. 30 minutes late hes still not there. I am beyond pissed. It took him probily 5 minutes to put it back on. Never go to this er.

My cousin was just there twice in the last month. She was on the 4th floor, both times and sadly died in the ICU. Although my cousin did not make it, the staff, I mean all staff that we came in contact with was great. Everyone displayed positive attitudes and were always willing to help. When my cousin was transferred to ICU, her nurse name was Amy and she was the most compassionate person I have dealt with in a long time. I want to thank Amy for the great care she gave!!! I also have to say the respiratory therapist were all great, and Dr. Breeden the pulmonologist was the best..

Dana-Elaine Middleton

These five stars are for Kelly the CNA on the eighth floor last week (1/29/19). She is absolutely the best! She went out of her way to help me more than once! She is professional, and kind. I felt cared for when she was on shift and grateful for having her after what I’ve been through. Can’t thank you enough!

My wife had double knee surgery 2/28/18. From check-in to check-out, the staff was wonderful. The admissions personnel did an exceptional job. While waiting for surgery, the nursing staff was on the ball. They assisted my wife with any questions and attended to her needs promptly. Post-op staff was also excellent. A first that I saw- blowing heaters that keep the patient's legs warm in the cold pre-op and recovery area- a great touch. My thanks to the staff for a great job.

Doctors office don’t answer the phone and they take longer then 24houra to respond to calls and messages.

I heard the nurses in the labor and delivery sitting around talking about some of their patients and their family, some stuff just shouldn’t be said at work, no matter how slow and boring it gets for the nurses they shouldn’t resort to gossiping to entertain themselves. very rude and unprofessional. They’re lucky it wasn’t being recorded.

Worst hospital experience I've ever had your safer laying down in the road

They did a terrible job. DON'T GO HERE! I received less than 1 minute with the doctor and about 5 minutes with nurses/medical assistants including the triage nurse. They didn’t ask very many questions, or listen to me. I didn’t come in for a stubbed toe. I came in so sick I couldn’t even sip water, I was told to go into the ER by my insurance nurse’s line. When I got to the ER they gave me 1 pill that didn’t work and didn’t check back in with me. I told them I couldn’t even sip water without puking, they told me I should drink water. No one asked me if I felt better, not a single staff member. I left just as sick as I came in as, barely able to walk, and I had physical problems getting back into the car. I could have passed out and no one would have noticed. And to add insult to injury they charged 2000 dollars. What is that charge for, fancy air?! I wasn’t given a bed, I was given a chair, so are the wet wipes they cleaned the chair with made from gold?! Does the doctor charge 1000 per minute? It was a horrible experience. I asked for an audit and they told me that I got good care.. REALLY!? Don’t go to this hospital!

Centennial is my go-to for ER needs. I tend to be the person who helps friends & family during problems, so I end up dealing with significant issues a lot. So far, I've had myself, my 78 year old Mom, my son, a neighbor with liver failure & seizures, and a church friend who was end stage cancer all go to Centennial ER and get admitted. I have not had a bad experience yet. The staff are consistently professional and caring. They are thorough with testing, and generally pretty fast. My son is there as I write this. His process is going slowly, but he's having heart issues. I'd rather they take their time with that. The building is even structured for stress reduction: each floor has an observation lounge that looks over the Vegas Valley. Last night, I saw nurses chatting with and hugging a dimensia patient. All in all, I am very happy with this hospital.

Great hospital, the nurses Maryanne y Brian fron the 5 floor were great, reallly took care of my dad, the best medical service i seemed, thank you guys.

Ginny Beall

Brought here by ambulance only to languish in freezing bay (they refused blankets because they said blankets make fevers worse) from 4 until midnight.

N G

I came here with fluid discharge and went to the emergency since I'm 37 weeks pregnant. Girl behind the glass was kinda rude but she took me to labor and delivery section on the second floor. There everyone was great, all nurses, Doctor Anderson. Everything was explained to me and was discharged.

Lala J

I delivered my baby boy on 5/30/2018, and had the best experience ever. The staff was great, my Doctor, the L & D nurses, the Postpartum nurses and everyone else who came around to check on the baby, and I. Everyone took the time to make sure my baby, and I was comfortable and cared for. The food was great, and I loved the dinner for two and the tea time........They were even supportive in, discharging me early to make it to my son's high school graduation on 5/31/2018. It was greatly appreciated, especially since they welcomed me come back to the hospital following the graduation to be with my baby boy. The next day 6/1/2018, my baby boy was discharged and we left the hospital together. Good job everyone, keep making your patients fill welcomed, cared for and comfortable. You all are great......Thanks again for a wonderful experience, I will continue to spread the word about how great you all are.......This is definitely the place to be....... From the Johnson's

There were only 4 nurses there that took their jobs seriously. None of the doctors are on the same page. The nurses always act like they have something better to do. Attitude problems, and just overall so unprofessional! It’s not a hospital, it’s a place to die!! Terrible experience for my mother! Jeremiah, Samantha, Nicole, and Ulises, thank you for all of your effort, but the rest absolutely awful!!

Agapito Adal

My experience with the medical staff and hospital in general is that they are very unprofessional. My mother frequents the hospital for she is diabetic and has had some medical episodes that required her to visit the ER and be admitted for care several times. Shes well known. Rather then medical professionals like the ER doctors conduct a thorough exam of body and blood. The doctors only focus on the complaint. Each time she was sent home with antibiotics and nothing more. She eventually succumbed to a build up of kidney stones that were building up over time that CHH- ER doctors FAILED to catch in all the xrays performed on my moms lower back. She battled for a few months to overcome numerous infections as a result of physician negligence. As a son, I take my mothers care and treatment extremely serious. My experience has forced me to take a very assertive and firm approach with medical staff and doctors when it comes to my mother. Medical staff and doctors do not like my attitude. And to be Frank, IDGAS!! I only have one set of parents. My mother is all I have left. I WILL FIGHT TO PROTECT MY MOTHER REGARDLESS OF WHAT THE CHARGE NURSES, OR HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATORS FEEL. I am also next of kin on medical records AND I also have permission to inquire on my mothers overall medical status at all times. Telling me ( by Angela in ER ) that medical status can not be provided due to HIPPA law, is a violation of my right as next of kin. Should a tragic turn occur, the way CHH staff handles these situations, I may never learn anything. In fact. It's happened once already at a nursing facility who had no idea where my mother was even though they sent my mother to ER. I've been holding off going to the media. But I from reading other reviews, plus my own experience. I think I may need to have the state investigate the hospital. Again. I dont play around when it comes to my mothers care and treatment. .maybe the hospital needs to be sanctioned so that they get themselves together.

Went in and had to stay for surgery the ER staff was ok all over the place I told them I was allergic to shellfish and still ended up having a CT scan with iodine I didn't sign a consent form until after I had my CT scan. Once I was on the 7th floor all the RN's and CPN's were really nice. The DOCTORS never came to see how I was doing after my surgery I was released from the Hospital without seeing a Doctor first so I was really confused. 7th floor rocks thanks Guys

2nd surgery at this hospital in a month. So sad that Dr."o" is the doctor supposed to be here but he cant do his job and help patients. He refused meds to help with my spinal fluid leak which causes extreme migraines. His answer was just give her morphine.... yeah morphine has no effect on me. I take a sleeping pill so I can rest and he refuses to allow me the medication. Its really sad this doctor is a reflection on the hospital. I have been up for 21 hrs and his only suggestion is to pump medication in me that does not work. No thank you! Do you job you lazy sorry excuse for a doctor. If you cant be bothered by patient's the maybe you need a new job!.

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the nurses. This review isn't about the care my dad received as much as the lack of communication...which in my opinion is very important. I've worked in hospitals and around Dr.s for many years. I have never been around Dr.s that have been so disrespectful and unprofessional when it comes to communication with other staff or family. My father was transferred to this hospital for a urology consult. The urologist didn't even see him till the day of discharge...and that was after the hospitalist called him twice. I had asked several times to be called with updates from the Dr.'s but only received 2 calls from the hospitalist. The first call was to try to control the conversation (like Dr.s usually do) only to hang up on me. The second call was to tell me he was reassigning my dad to another Dr.(probably a good thing) and hung up on me again! He wouldn't even tell me WHO my dad's new dr. was. Still waiting on the urologist to call me. My guess is that if he doesn't return a colleagues call, he won't return a patient or family members. Thank God for the nurses! They were wonderful and caring and communicated! Imagine that.

Had to get there early by two hours to wait for an hour before having to remind them to check us in. They then made us wait SIX HOURS for a procedure, and had to wait extra as the doctor's lunch "ran long". Also the staff is terrible with trans people. Like a total disgrace. One nurse even lied she had misgendered me. And another apologized "if I took it wrong". Go somewhere else unless you have to go here, as in you are literally bleeding out.

J C

Came here for 2 completely different things and was treated with the best care. The nurses and doctors did an amazing job at the labor and delivery and also in the surgery I had on my galbladder removal. Thank you to ALL the staff.

Raul Ulises

Going on day 3, have YET to see the doctor needed to help or discharge me. Paying absurd amount of money to be given IV fluid without actual treatment. Then to have a doc order a bunch of treatments on me without doing any tests first?!?! Who evers running the show wont show their face either

Bob Mcabee

Horrible service from er to admissions. Will tell Va to never send anyone to your hospital. You should respect our veterans. Also will contact your corporate headquarters. Also Medicaid and Medicare. So sad. .

This Hospital doesn’t even deserve one star, these people are rude and they do not treat or help anyone, they just tell people they or their family member has one sickness/disease and they go to another hospital and that hospital tells them they has a sickness that is life threatening. These people don’t care to help anyone.

The reviews speak for themselves. This place is out of the question. Absolutely the worst hospital I’ve ever been too hands down. I haven’t been to many nor do I go often but geez. I’m surprised this place isn’t shutdown. But then again this is vegas where everything besides the beloved strip suffers from carelessness. They have no F*ckn clue how to diagnose people lol. I was misdiagnosed as was my wife on separate occasions, me with a hernia and hers with a neurological issue. then when you get diagnosed you’re suspicious of it being an accurate diagnosis! My wife goes in there , they say she has gall stones so they want to remove her gallbladder, they do the procedure and behold! 42 hours later she’s suffering from unbearable chronic bile reflux which they claim they can do absolutely nothing about aside from the same failed singular treatment they perform for such issues. My wife is a tough cookie and the only time I’ve witnessed her in this much pain was during child birth. Ironically she’s in medical school so thank god she’s able to fill in their gaps but I mean no way can this place continue to operate as is and stay open. Nurses forget about you, and are useless for common info. The doctors don’t give a damn about you , I mean , u probably have to visit these guys two or three times just to feel as if you were properly cared for. Not to mention the technology which seems like a good 60% of it came out of 1994. Seems out if date given the year but I digress. I mean I’m sure there are a few valuable staff members and possibly a few extraordinary doctors and or professionals working in the building but boy , overall this place isn’t worth taxpayers dollars. You could possibly get better treatment at a free clinic. 0 stars. I hope to god the trauma center has better reviews!

The Devil is in the white lab coat!! He calls himself Doctor. This is a medical insurance fraud establishment. The physicians are not out to improve your daily living... their goal is to bill your insurance, ignore your history, and avoid treating your root issues. While creating more deadly health issues for you. These doctor speak death over your situation when they've taken a oath to heal. The nursing staff gets 4 stars. Doctors get 0 stars!! These so called doctors are out to KILL you and collect on your death. Its a sad gloomy facility and its time for Nevada's state insurance bureau to investigators to get involved. They will do anything but heal you to insure on- going billing. The poor nurses have to encourage their patients silently not to submit to everything the doctors lies. I plan to report fraud with the state as well as my insurance company. Everytime I have gone to this facility I have to tell the nurses to inform me of the medication administered before injecting me. I have the right to know what is being given and why. You have to sleep on your I.V. as if you're in prison or you will be drugged without your knowlwdge. During my past visit I refused certain treatments and various specialist visit and the physicians became assertive and extrememly demanding regardless to the low success rates being offered. Doctors at you bedside billing for services never given. No introduction no bedside manor. God forbid you ask a Doctor to explain themselves, or question their treatment plan. Its like they think they are Gods...Lacking healing power! Or common sense/knowledge of womens health. Every doctor Lacks knowledge of how a woman's reproductive system affects other organs and part of her body, even basic hormones and high blood pressure. Absolutely ignorant to womens health. They are quick to offer a team a doctors that don't communicate & aren't educate. Doctors lacking CURRENT medical knowledge extremely outdated, they have no natural treatement, no education of natural cures. These doctors will absolutely kill someone and place the blame on the nursing staff. I went in with high blood pressure and checked out with high blood pressure, low iron, and high stress. Caprylic acid, grapeseed extract, and hydralazine has done in one day what these doctors couldn't do in a week. I feel sorry for the supporting staff. They deserve better physicians than the money hungry agents they work with. Never leave your elder love one alone in this facility. If you have to use them advocate for those you love and research everything offered to you! Everything!!!

You are the infamous hospital emergency room that denied medical assistance to Amy Vilela's daughter. Shame on you.

Of all the hospitals in this city that a relative of mine has been in this hospital is better than most. I would give three and a half stars if I could. Clean single bed rooms nursing staff great will go the extra mile for you . Yes unfortunately you have to put up with Las Vegas doctors. One suggestion, if you have problems you can call operator tell tbem you want to complain. They take things seriously. Just got off phone with the hospital. Couple of hours later things were made right. Good hospital

If I could give less than 1 star I would. The smug front desk nurse didn’t even look at me when she spoke. She asked 3 questions: why are you here, what is your height, what is your weight. In that order and with the excitement of a burning building. The ER room nurse was great and so was the NP. However when the specialist came to see me, she didn’t knock, introduce herself, ask me any medical history, and diagnosed my condition incorrectly twice without even examining me. She was insulting and confrontational. Her manor was awful, inpatient, and just plain unprofessional. She then prescribed a medication at a dose that the pharmacy would not fill because if I had taken the prescribed dosage I would have overdosed. Then after I was dismissed by the specialist that did nothing for me, another nurse that I had never seen came in with my discharge paperwork, took out my IV and said I could leave. Did I mention that I had 2 doses of Morphine for pain and they allowed me to stagger out the door and into my car. I sure hope I was just there on a bad day, and this is not their normal way of treating people.

My mom had a prior diagnosis of metastasized brain cancer, causing periods of confusion and irritability, as well as a fall risk. After a few days of severe confusion, I took her to the ER. The ER staff was WONDERFUL! They handled her confusion and irritability wonderfully, and were super attentive. Then she was admitted. During her almost three week stay, she was moved 3 times, 3 different floors; 7, 4, and 3, I believe. Each floor had a different QUALITY of care, and different quality of nurses. Floor 4 was the WORST. I went to see her at 2:30pm one day, and her lunch tray was pushed against the back wall, so even if she was hungry, she couldn't reach her lunch; she had two medicine cups with meds in them on the tray; and there was fecal matter ALL OVER the bathroom... All on the outside of the toilet, in the sink, in the trash can, and on the floor. The charge nurse happened to stroll in to check on her, so I pointed out all of these things. Apparently, the bathroom issue was because in the middle of the night she called someone to help get her to the bathroom, and it didn't go so well. House keeping had been notified, yet it was pushing 3pm, and no one was available to clean it. According to her nurse, when she was offered her medication at 7:30am, she didn't want it, so the nurse figured she would take it later. Well, I'm sorry, but she has brain cancer, and is CONFUSED. They said they couldn't "force" her to take it, and I understand that. But she was there to get better. And I don't understand how if a patient doesn't realize what they need, how the staff, in good conscience, can let them go without their medication. The lunch thing bothered me the least, because in all fairness, she wasn't eating much anyway. The third floor was the best quality of care, in my opinion, and had the best nurses. We had arranged for my mom to be taken to a Hospice facility in the meantime. The night before she was transferred, I got a call that she had fallen, but wasn't injured. It was an "unwitnessed fall" and her "feet were on the bed, but her torso was on the ground." I don't know how someone would end up in that position and NOT be hurt. Now, anytime we asked my mom if she was in pain (anytime, even before the fall) she would say "no." So I don't know if they just asked, and she said she wasn't hurt, and didn't bother to examine her. But again, she was confused. When I saw her later that day, she didn't remember falling. Two days later she passed away in the hospice facility. Due to my financial situation, I couldn't order an autopsy because that would be out of my pockets, so I will never know if her death was a natural progression of the disease, or if that fall caused an internal bleed, puncture, fracture, or break that went undiagnosed and/or uncared for. I have to try to live with "it was just her time." I know that people who have negative experiences are more likely to leave reviews, but I really liked this hospital at first. But every individual is different, and every staff member is different. All I can say is if you're not happy with the care your loved one is receiving, DEMAND something different. I kept quiet because I presumed they knew what they were doing. Maybe she just got a bad bunch of nurses. Good Luck!

The physicians obviously do not care about their low income patients. Ever since I discovered that I can't be given any meds with steroids in them, I've had to let all physicians know, because I literally get sick; I either catch air borne colds, viruses and pneumonia. When I was recently taken back to Centennial for an allergic reaction to another prescription that caused my throat to close, making it very difficult to breathe, I told them as I'm being taken in from the ambulance, that I am allergic to steroids. Upon being released later that morning, they gave me another prescription with steroids in it, which caused me to become very sick again. Now I'm having to go back to a different hospital, to explain how Centennial totally ignores me when telling them about my allergic reaction to steroids. My last visit to a different hospital, because of an allergic reaction, I caught pneumonia and now I'm having to go get again with the same symptoms as that time. Knowing that antibiotics aren't very effective when ingesting a med with steroids, it bothers me that this hospital could care less that I'm cured of a sickness that could easily kill me if the antibiotics aren't able to wipe out the viral infection that was caused by their negligence of not taking heed to what I told them during my last ambulance visit to them. If anyone truly cares about your health, Do Not put your life in Centennial Hospital's care, because they will either play you as a fool, or give you a medication that will only make you more sick than you were before visiting their facility.

Tina Lawson

Whoever does the staffing for admission and the pre-admit depts need to learn about staffing, period. To wait hours when a person isn't feeling well is obsurd. Staff better so that people dont have to wait so long!!!

Summer Hart

This is the nicest hospital I have ever seen. My husband had surgery and was in and out in 2 days. They asked me if I would like to stay with him and had a bed for me to sleep next to him. The staff is very friendly.

You know I was always told to not see any medical personnel in Vegas. I have no medical history and about a week ago I took myself to this ER because obviously I felt there was something off about myself. I had been dizzy for 6 days and needed answers. The medical staff ran tests and everything came back "normal". I knew I wasn't normal so I requested more specific tests. The Physician (woman), in an unprofessional tone stated " There is nothing wrong with you!" and refused me more tests. Two days later I went on the military base and it was found that I had vertigo, and meds were prescribed. I now feel 80% better, but I feel if Centennial took the time to be a little more adequate and what I'm paying for then I wouldn't have been miserable for two more days. I'm afraid because I was told this is the best hospital Vegas has, but honestly I'd be damned if I came back to this hospital after how I was treated and the lack of job performance when someone is ill.

What a waste of time here ! My toddler was crying non stop due to severe pain and the nurses just passed by didnt even acknowledge us! Will not be coming back here !

Had a horrible labor and delivery experience this past Friday. One nurse Michelle was very mean and snappy towards me but only when my husband stepped out of the room. When he was in the room she’s the nicest person ever. She was very very rough with me with everything she had to do to me. Another nurse was very rough with me as well and caused me so much pain when she removed my catheter. Today I woke up crying and depressed because I’m still in pain and I keep thinking of all the pain the hospital staff put me through while I was admitted. This was my 3rd child and I never have felt this way while in labor and delivery. This is supposed to be a calm and positive memorable moment. It was ruined. This was my first time giving birth here and it will be the last time. I would rather go to an out of network hospital and pay whatever the cost is. There was one labor and delivery nurse that was absolutely amazing and gentle with me and her name was Heather. Thank you Heather for your amazing customer service. I can tell you truly care about the work you do and the people you take care of.

What a nightmare. I don't think anyone cares about patients at this hospital. ER wait times were so-so. Front desk woman didn't seem very happy. Nurses were all pretty blah. Too many unnecessary tests and scans ordered. A nice girl took my x-ray. Seemed to go downhill after that. An MRI was ordered for reasons I can't comprehend. The blonde girl who did my MRI was terrible. No personality and rude. Pretty sure she wouldn't have cared if I died on the table. Just a number to these people. Discharge nurse was tolerable. Maybe teach employees to make eye contact and TRY to pretend to care for the patient. A smile wouldn't kill any of these people either. Oh, and good luck getting a doctor to see you in a timely fashion.

Qui Rawls

The worst experience EVER!!! Do not I repeat do not come here if you don’t have to. The staff is rude, and lack of care for patients. The nurse simply said we were being discharged because they didn’t have enough room. Unprofessional and something should be done before there are lawsuits involved

Kenneth Hurdle

Do not go to this hospital for anything!!!! Nursing doesn't care about patients. My mother needs to go to a nursing rehab center and they tried sending to one without any authorization I walked in while the transport was arriving by luck. Stay away from here at all cost.

My husband tried doing physical therapy at the out patient therapy center prior to having surgery to see if it could help. They never gave him a copy of the bill. They never told him they were charging us $1101 per visit for therapy. This was back in February and March. The therapy did not help so surgery was on the horizon. He had to cancel the surgery for a later date. The center billed our insurance which reduced the amount to $265 per visit of which again we were never made aware of that there was a bill owing. Next thing I know I get a collection bill in the mail. We had never seen a bill but got turned over to collections. I called them and they said they did get one returned through the mail. I questioned the ridiculous price. They said I would have to call my ins. I called them then after some back and forth realized it was for the therapy that we never got a statement for. They will NOT give me a copy of the medical records and if I did not pay would blemish our credit. I had to give them a credit card for $1325 for 5 visits and they will send me a receipt sometime after 10 days. They said they would send a fax so we could request his medical records and never did that either. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR....IF YOUR SURGEON RECOMMENDS THEM....DO NOT GO THERE. THEY ARE A RIP OFF AT $1101 PER VISIT AND WILL SCREW WITH YOUR CREDIT RATING BECAUSE THEY CAN NOT GET A BILL TO YOU NOR WILL THEY QUOTE YOU A PRICE AHEAD OF TIME OR EVEN GIVE YOU A RECEIPT! HEAD FOR THE HILLS AND NEVER LOOK BACK. FOR $1101 PER VISIT, ANYONE CAN FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO THIER OWN THERAPY. I WOULD GIVE THEM A NEGATIVE STAR IF POSSIBLE. The hospital it's self has been ok with us, the out patient therapy is the problem.

Inna Nelson

I have very bad impression about nurses who worked in ER at night 02/20. They need to drop their attitude and be polite to patients. since they choose to help people in the hospital we expect them to be polite and nurturing like nurse supposed to be.They all acting rude, sarcastic and unprofessional only sit there for their paycheck not for patients. None of them who assisted us that night great us or introduced them self. The doctor on other hand was very pleasant and answered all our questions. I see so many negative reviews here maybe it’s time for management to fix some problems over there...

Great customer service upon check in clean and spacious rooms staff dedicated and professional they went above and beyond to bring our baby safe and healthy the nurses very friendly and most likely everything highly recommended if ever get sick i want to be treated at cenntenial hills hospital

vanessa ford

Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.... when we got here we were LITERALLY the only people here... they put us in a cubicle with a terrible recliner for my 9 year old and there’s nothing else. Not even a box of tissues. Asked if she could have a spot to actually lay down and the young snotty nurse said she’s not sick enough and they have to save actual beds for people that need them more...

Dwayn Wilson

Absolutely worst service ever. Only exception is the 5th floor nurses!

Jim Guthrie

Centennial Hills is a great hospital but the E.R. sucks! My husband was sent here by Compkex Care. We have been here 5 hours. They have run a number of tests and started his meds. We have not seen a doctor. The nurse says it appears he's staying here and not going back to Complex Care tonight but there is no official word yet. There's no excuse for not communicating.

allan herman

Michelle Dupras

The worst experience EVER. The rudest nurses, unorganized unprofessional service and care I have ever received. The doctors are rude as well as the staff. DO NOT GO HERE. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY FOR ANYTHING.

Don't go here because it is conveniently located. Go to UMC or summerlin. Went there the other day and they missed 2 DVT clots in my leg!! This could have been deadly if I didn't go to UMC after the fact.

Kristin Brown

Tired of being in pain so I went here and the doctor didn’t care to see what was wrong he just wrote some prescriptions for a problem I wasn’t even having and surprise that didn’t work! Still in pain days later. Oh and they send a expensive bill for doing nothing for me!!! Worst hospital ever! I think they employ fake doctors because if he was a real doctor why did he not do his job? I’ll die at home before coming back to this place

TOTALLY INCOMPETENT, the nurses & doctor who treated my son 3 times (I thought it was just twice. Had to correct it). He came in with severe pains right side below his ribs. Gallbladder location. I have experience with Gallbladder colic's. He had pains before, but it was not so bad. Now the pains are getting worse. I told him, he need to get an Ultrasound to get his Gallbladder checked. First time Centennial Docs disregarded his pains as Acid Reflux. No check on his Gallbladder. Second time they did not do anything again. Third time the nurse was rude & said: we are no Magicians, we do not have pixie dust to make you healthy again. UNBELIEVABLE!! But this time they did an Ultrasound to check his Gallbladder! BINGO! He has Gallbladder sludge. They only gave him a few pain pills & released him. 2 days later he is back at the ER, this time at a different Hospital (Mountain View Hospital) with severe pains & fever. They did a scan right away, and take care of him. He has a severe Gallbladder infection, blood in his urine and tons of kidney stones. Update: My sons Gallbladder is so infected and enlarged that he will get surgery today. Shame on the Doctors at the Centennial Hills Hospital. Do NOT go there....

mattie johnson

Worst hospital I been to in Vegas. The Drs and nurses in ER don’t care about you they’re just trying to get you in and out. Also, they do a bunch of unnecessary things just to charge you. I went there stomach issues and all they prescribed me was ibuprofen, when I left I was still in pain. The only people who was genuinely nice and cared was the ultrasound tech and the lady that did my CT scan they were both great.

Napoleon Berciles

Do your self a favor...do not get treated here Doctor and Nurses do not care about your pain here...My son broke his arm they acting like nothing...No pain meds for 4 hours...while Nurses busy worried about for dinner..I hope this hospital will shut down soon..Worthless Place.

I was hospitalized in September for three days and told that I had a 500.00 deductible, so I paid it at the time of admission and then in January of 2019 I received a bill for 1000.00. I called and they said no your deductible is 1500. I asked why I was told it was 500 and charged 500 at the time of Admission. I was told I don’t know but you owe us another 1000. So I begun to send 100.00 a month every single month. The 1000 is now down to 300.00. Today I get a collection letter saying I owe 400.00 which they did not credit the recent 100. Why collections? They are getting paid every single month since they notified me of the debt which is kinda questionable anyway. I will continue to pay the 300 as I have been and if this ends up on my credit report of which I have a 750 score I will seek legal action for the harassment and the incompetence of the billing Dept at this Hospital.

CyberKat

Labor and delivery is absolutely terrible there. The nurses are extremely rude and not knowledgeable at all. I was in active stage labor and they sent me home. Went to another hospital and got admitted right away and had my son about 30 minutes later.

Anthony Green

Very neglected hospital please go somewhere else, you'll be walk out worst than before you came in

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hospital. I was taken via ambulance to centennial hospital with extreme abdominal pain. Emergency room doctor ordered an MRI/ CT ( I’m not sure which) with contrast and an ultrasound. Once he received the results, he ordered a new sonogram. The second sonogram tech told me that he would not be doing a complete sonogram because he did not think it was necessary and gave me a lecture that there was nothing wrong with the first one. All of this while I am writhing in pain on the hospital bed and with no rush to perform what he was directed to do by the doctor. He had a very nasty attitude and then informed his assistant to open the results of the first test on the screen in front of him. I watched him copy the results while he was “performing” the second sonogram . The whole time he was complaining about the er doctor. I then asked him why is he doing the sonogram if he is only going to copy the first results. He informed me that he was just comparing and not copying the results. Then he called the person who did the original results into the room and told her that isn’t that what she saw, and there is no difference. It was the most unprofessional experience I have ever received. I informed the er doctor as soon as I returned to the room. In the future I will never go to take any procedure without a witness in the room with me. I was discharged shortly after with no explanation or diagnosis. The sonogram person’s manager came to apologize and informed me of a condition that he saw on the mri or ct scan that I was not told by the doctor. A condition that my father was hospitalized for and almost died. Yet, it was not on my discharge notes nor was I given any medication even though the condition requires antibiotics. I went home and less than 12 hours later I woke up with a fever of 103 degrees. I called a nurse at another hospital and she was shocked that I had not been given antibiotics by the hospital. I will be going to another facility in a few hours. If I could give Centennial hills hospital 0 stars I would. This was unprofessional and negligent treatment. If my condition worsens due to the negligent care I received from this hospital, I plan on retaining legal council.

Horrible L & D experience. SAVE YOUR TIME AND GO ELSEWHERE. Snotty & rude nurses who show no empathy/compassion. There was no such thing as service excellence or kindness. Mind you, I am a VHS Employee! First of all, there were no wheelchairs in the ER entrance-- although there was a sign that said "THERE SHOULD BE ONE WHEELCHAIR HERE AT ALL TIMES." No one to speak to in ER because they were helping another patient. Therefore, I just walked with my husband to the 2nd floor. Arriving on the 2nd floor, whomever was at the desk just said "HI" and looked at me like "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" Didn't ask how she could help or what's going on, I was shocked at how she was looking at me that I was speechless for a moment... After getting my information, I was brought to triage. After signing some paperwork, I was told my nurse "Kirsten/Kristen" would be in. This RN, walks in the triage room and goes straight to the monitor. DOES NOT MAKE EYE CONTACT, nor does she introduce herself. At this point I am dumbfounded. She then says "Hi" softly, under her breath while still staring at the monitor. Asks, what brings me in, then gives a little attitude explaining what real contractions are and when you should really come to the hospital. All in all, she was rude and talked down to me. I was monitored for about an hour, then discharged. All while no communication was given to me about progress or what was going on with me. I was reading the monitor myself figuring out what was going on. No explanation whatsoever. No discharge instructions were given. All she said was "Sign here and you can go." Once I signed the discharge paperwork she left the room and went back to the nurses station. Once we exited the triage area, and exiting the double doors, she's there talking to a coworker and all 3 nurses sitting at the desk ignore us as we walk out. I was looking at her, but of course, no eye contact or not even a bye. Never coming here again. Going to register at a different hospital tomorrow!

Ian Akeson

Zero stars is more appropriate but wasnt an option. Delivery day of your baby is supposed to be a happy joyous occassion except when you are greeted by the rudest RN ever hired, basically kicked out of the patient room for taking up space and then grilled in the waiting area as to what my "plan" is. Um my plan was to come and support my girlfriend whos giving birth and meet my baby when he is born. I took the entire day off work to be there with her and brought our children as well so it could be a special experience and day for everyone. Apparently that was too much for her to comprehend. Dignity Health St Rose Dominican where my previous two were born would have been a better choice by about tenfold

Centennial hills hospital has some of the most LAZIEST unprofessional nurses in labor and delivery I have EVER saw in my life. I gave birth there about a year ago to twins and everytime I called the nurse, the lady at the nurses station had an attitude and even had the audacity to ask me "why do I need the nurse?" Um because my stomach was just cut open and two babies just came out of me. That's why I need the nurse. The only nurse that was nice to me was nurse Shalna I liked her alot and hated to leave her behind..And there were two other nurses who were extremely nice and caring but I can't remember their names..If I see them I'd definitely remember them though. But all the other nurses can go to hell with their lazy unprofessional selves.

This place is horrible I have a past of staph infection in my nose and had been given an ointment by urgent care to use for my nose and woke up with facial swelling I went here in hopes they could swab it in the least because the swelling is painful and it’s hard to see. I wasn’t even given a doctor to speak to the nurse practitioner told me to use Flonase which I already use in combination with Benadryl and Zyrtec this isn’t allergies this is an infection and they didn’t do anything to get to the bottom of it. I guess I’ll wait until the infection spreads and go to a better hospital

Ronnie Deyro

Horrible staff!!!! Quick to take your money and hold you hostage. They won’t even let me leave. I’ve been here for 8 hours. I already paid!!! I’m waiting on my discharge papers!!! Nobody does anything!!! They get paid a lot of money to give bad service and no empathy!!! Why would you pay medical professionals top dollar to watch you suffer!!! 8 hours I’ve been waiting to leave this place.

scott martin

I’m trying to figure out which hospital to deliver my baby at. Is Centennial a good hospital ? & Is it true they give you steak after you deliver the baby lol?

Grey Area Nevada

Nurses could honestly care less about there patients, you will wait hours for medications, the food is terrible. Goto St Rose at least they half way care. They will keep you here as long as possible to milk your insurance, did I mention the nurses would rather gossip then attend to patients. You are an embarrassment to the Las Vegas health system.

Alyssa Rebecca

Good luck trying to pay your bill or get ahold of ANYONE at this hospital. Their phone tree is a joke and they constantly hang up on you after waiting for 30+ minutes at a time

Henry b

They delivered our baby boy here. Loved it! Staff and everything else

Jennie Lorene

Horrible and pathetic, if I would have treated my patients like this I would have been fired. The ER dep. Is a joke, first off told us the wrong diagnosis multiple times and forgot diagnosis, only reason we found out was looking at discharge papers. Every nurse said something different, my sister was screaming for two hours even after trying to get nurses they ignored us and eventually a young man came and said "I'm shutting your door".And left us in there. I smell a lawsuit on there hands if they don't already have one!

Ear infection turned nightmare , I had an ear infection and sinusitis over a week ago, I am experiencing intense pain and pressure at night. Can't sleep, returned to Centennial Hills hospital, while I await my doctors appt. The Resident comes up to me looks at my hand doesn't shake it tells me that it's normal never touches me and tells me to see an ENT... I just left, but the more time passes the worse I feel, my ears have cleared up, but I don't know what this knot is here and the pain, has continued, Is there anyone who knows a good Ear, Nose , and throat Dr.,? I am seriously, wanting to know what is wrong... Because it came the time of my ear infection , and I know I'm suffering hearing loss.

DAVID BIEVER

Simply the worst hospital I have ever experienced. The staff/patient interaction is almost non existent, with thee exception of just a few, very few concern nurses that really actually like the job and helping people. The food in this place is so pathetic (pics if needed). You'll come in for one thing and they will find everything they can wrong with you. I was here for four days and in that time the only time anyone comes to check in on your are hours between 1am and 5 am,and believe me its every hour on the hour.Only one time did I ever see someone during day light hours. After four days I was finally offered some hygiene supplies, and boy was i ripe lol. I am leaving the one star only because i finally got to leave the place. I dont care if im in cardiac arrest, I will never come to this hospital again. Hey Centenial, I think its time to revamp. This hospital has the worst reviews ever.

I AM greatful for the services I received on Sat. 3/30/19 when I arrived in the emergency for shortness of breath. I received prompt service and accurate advice. Those working with me on that day saved my life!

Humberto Aguilar

I would like to say once I got into the ER the service was great and the staff in the back was very nice and helpful. When I arrived the service was horrible. The lady that was working the desk and doing the vitals was pretty rude. She was blond and wearing a grey sweater. I'm a single mother and had to bring my three boys with me. Trust me if I didn't have to be there I wouldn't be but today I literally felt horrible. Totally nausea, dizzy, could barely move, very weak and cold. I felt bad because I just got my boys for Christmas break and was upsetting that I felt like that and barely could take care of them. So being there in the ER wasn't a piece of cake. Especially since I was sick and they weren't. So yes, my kids weren't on their best behavior while I was getting my vitals. They were fine up until that point and she ask if there was anyone that would be picking up the kids. I told her no because I was a single mother and that I had no one to watch them. She continued to proceed on telling me that my kids would not be able to go back with me. I asked they are not allowed back there with me? Did I just waste my time in waiting for her to tell me this since I was already there for an hour and no one mentioned it. They she said, they won't be able to go back there and run, which they were doing at that time, btw I don't let me kids run around like by they were. I told her the would be in their seats and behave. She continued to argue with me. I was pretty annoyed by that point. I decided to stay since I didn't want to continue feeling like I did. Once I left from being seen and was discharged the same lady kept on staring us down. My youngest was upset and crying and her eyes were right on us the whole time..I was waiting for y ride which took a moment. The whole time she made it ever uncomfortable. I waited by the glass door and my son was still upset and he started kicking the glass I saw her staring at that moment and I turn around and told her I was doing everything I could. I proceeded to wait outside in the cold with my 3 boys because being in here was unbearable. I feel like I shouldn't have felt nd been treated like that. That lady needs work on her costumer service skills because they were not up to par and most of your time is spent in the waiting room.

Sabine Sanchez

Doctor pk was pushing my sister into getting a surgery and he didnt even know what Exacly she had. The surgery got done and she didnt stay well at all she had breathing problems . She had liquids on the side of her cut and it got infected because they did not clean her cut nor change her sheets. Doctor pk took her into sugery again knowing she had her heart racing and breathing problem. When she was getting the second sugery done because of the infection i received a call saying she wasn't going to make it . I thought maybe doctor pk did it so that he can get more money because she had straight Medicare. What got us so sad is that my sister did not make it through all of this. The worst part is another doc came in and told us she was not suppose to get this big surgery done because most people do not make it. She was only 21 and lost her life to a surgery. Think before you go and get stable at centennial hills hospital.

Superhero Babies

The night ER nurse needs to be fire sorry to say . What is the purpose of being a nurse and not saying hello to your patients or even introducing yourself while she’s taking your blood pressure and asking how much you weight . She makes one feel super uncomfortable and unwelcome. It makes me believe they are only there to get pay. Big money instead of loving /liking their own job .

Abigail Ortiz

Fantastic. I went in on a Friday night extremely sick and was helped immediately by staff that truly cared.

Carol Hamilton

Top notch medical team. There is nothing I would do or change in the ER to make our experience any better. Thanks to the entire team for saving my daughters life.

Walt Schramm

Third world hospitals are probably better than centennial. They sent me home with a “14” pain level which turned out to be a blood clot forming. The IVC filter they put in before my knee surgery had been done without putting me out, that hurt like hell! The dr Reed that discharged me can’t count and didn’t prescribe me enough pain meds. Nobody changed my dressing from the IVC filter all week long nor emptied my urine bottle which is where my filter insiscion was put in. Talk about unsanitary? This hospital sux

Nakia Watson

Very clean and friendly staff. My father had a heart attack Christmas eve and they treated him very well. Thank you to all the nurses and doctors on duty, you are appreciated!

Tarayl Goss

If you have Chron’s stay away ! Came in with a flare up a pneumonia in my left lung. The ER nurses were unhelpful and rude. Asked for something to drink after my blood was drawn and vitals were took, didn’t get anything until I was admitted and moved up stairs to the 6floor. The doctors that’s handling me knows nothing about IBDs I was sent a tray of regular food with while I’m having a flare up, doctor won’t listen to my pain medication needs, I had surgery for my Chron’s 3years ago so I lnow what works and what doesn’t and Morphine DOSENT work on top of that I dont think that I’m supposed to even take Norcos but that’s what they are making me take for pain. This place sucks and like the other reviews state this place is not good for those with chronic health issues ! Most of these nurses here seem to just be here for the check.

Bianca McCall

The ER doc is a fraud.

Jan Villarubia

I believe the hospital has unfairly received a bad rap. I had to go in for excessive bleeding and I was not only treated with respect and dignity but all of my nurses, the lab techs, and my PA treated me very nicely and with genuine concern. A special thank you to the nurses Noel and Brittany, your bedside manner is amazing. My PA, whose name I can't recall (a very pretty African American woman) was very thorough and took her time to talk to me like a human being. Plus, since I'm uninsured, they gave me a discount and a payment plan. I'm very pleased.

Cheryl Rommelman

The worst experience I ever had. If you can avoid Centennial Hospital and pick a different hospital please do!!!! July I did everything to prepare for my delivery. I called the financial advisor to see how much it would cost me to deliver. I was given a price. Go into labor in aug 4 and it to the 3 long hellish hrs to get the epidural when I was already 8cm dilated. Checked in at 6am at 5cms and was given the epidural at 9am at 8 cm dilated. All because the had one person who can give it and 6 other people scheduled for csection!! 940 am my son was already here. So talk about a damn waste!! Before we were discharged out the hospital we were told by the person collecting our payments that once we paid our whole deductible, we wouldn’t be paying anything. LIES!!!!!!!!! Centennial is not trying to over charge me $2000 over. AVOID THIS HOSPITAL IF YOU CAN!!

Doctor Webinstein

Wow what did I just walk into? My child had a fever and was bleeding out of his ears and I felt he was safer at home than in this waiting room. It literally was like the plague was re-born and people were dying all over. Nowhere to sit ( hey it was busy , totally get it ) but people were on the ground with blankets, and the air just felt like you were going to get sicker just by being there. The wait was going to be like 3 hours, even though we had blood pouring out of our child's ears. You could not really talk to the receptionist person as there was some giant bullet proof construction around her. We left and probably saved ourselves from this zombie outbreak apocalypse that was happening in there. The ER in downtown New Orleans was safer than this.

James C

From when I arrived to when I was sitting in the screening room was probably about 10 min, the whole facility seemed clean and the staff was friendly enough.

Went into ER I thought I had a broken arm they said probably just a bruise took x-rays after 4 hours said they saw a slight break in upper arm put a splint on my arm I was in so much pain went to a Ortho Dr and in fact I had broken shoulder and shoulder blade the splint was pushing up on shoulder making it more painful so yes not to happy with hospital at the moment.

This is the third time I have brought my family to this hospital. 1st time my daughter was not well, very sick as well as cracked tooth. The doc kust brushed it off told me to drive her umc childreds as they have peds dentist. I was forceful with doc because the way she was acting was not about a cracked tooth nurse they says well we can test her sugar acting like she was appeasing me. Her blood sugar was over 700 she was actually. We ended up 5 days in peds ice and 2 days on regular floor. 2nd time my husband was hurt at work. He had a beam fall on his head that required staples. The doctor did not want to wait for anesthesia so he got behind my husband and gave him 3 staples with out warning or pain meds. Now we are here again and hope this time is different.

Chantel Newton

The moronic old man up front in ER gave us a sour taste. He was ordering food while taking my fiancé’s blood pressure and my fiancé said he felt like he was gonna pass out and the lady who was also up front said he’s in a good place Incase of that.. Unprofessional.. we waited over an hour to be called back and when we did we were in the worlds smallest room that only fit 2 chairs and was wide open. Dr came in looked at a bruise my fiancé had from a big car wreck and said he’s ok cause he can walk. Didn’t check his reflexes or looked for a concussion.. yet they wanna bill your insurance and make you wait longer than the Las Vegas dmv would. I just think the way they carry themselves is awful and when someone has been waiting for over an hour to be seen and a hour to get paperwork to leave you should take at least 5 minutes to actually look and see if they’re ok. Not impressed

ahmed mohammed

We had our second baby on august 16, 2018. Molly and maggy was the perfect nurse. They took care of us all the way thank you

Francy Arria

I am going to say the service is ok not great. The emergency room accommodation are HORRIBLE to say the least. They have 2 very uncomfortable hard chairs in a very small room I could hardly fit in those and I am average fit. Prepare to wait for hours in this conditions besides feeling horrible. Unless there is a tsunami not coming back. Horrible experience.

Worse than a hospital in a 3rd world country. My dad was checked in early on Monday morning 3/12/18 (around 6:30am) with a kidney stone that was too large to pass. He was promised that the on-call urologist would see him "soon". The urologist, who again was ON-CALL, didn't answer his phone or his pager for the next 36 hours. My father laid in a hospital bed for a day and a half getting pumped with drugs to manage his pain while the urologist (did I mention that he was "on-call"?) played golf or did whatever he did. After a day and a half the urologist finally called back and promised that he would come in to see my dad on Tuesday night and either order a stent for ultrasound or schedule a surgery. He promised! Well, long story short he never showed up on Tuesday to see my father either. My dad was practically in tears. So now it's Wednesday. My father is spending his 3rd day in the hospital and getting increasingly more uncomfortable. He finally was granted permission by the hospital staff to have his own urologist (who didn't have privileges or something to treat patients at Centennial Hills for some reason) come to see him. My dad's urologist - who has been treating my dad for years now - showed up immediately after being called and ordered surgery to remove the stone. But guess what, now Centennial Hills is saying they don't even have the equipment needed for this routine surgery. So now my father is back at square one - STILL waiting for something to be done. This is something you would expect to happen at a hospital in a 3rd world country, or perhaps a VA hospital (unfortunately). Our whole family is incredulous! We are so furious with the urologist and the entire staff at this hospital that they could be so negligent and slow to act for the people who are supposed to be in their care. The only reason my dad went to this hospital in the first place was because it was the closest one to his home, but now he knows to go ANYWHERE but here the next time he has any kind of medical issue. It's worth the extra 20 minutes in the car to actually find medical professionals who take their jobs seriously.

Miss Kapri

I wanted to give it more starts only because my after care team was GREAT! But it got 3 because I’m just taken back by the intake nurse and her comment. I had surgery last month registered online and had to go in and finish and see the nurse. Nurse took me to the back went through the whole before surgery routine and right when it’s time for me to get up and leave she says I know “YALL” don’t wash yourself hair everyday but I need you to wash it tomorrow. Ummm ok y’all as in who people??? No she meant y’all as in African American. That was so unnecessary and not needed she told me to wash my hair in her speech I said ok the extra comment after I was so shocked I didn’t even know what to say. If she wanted to reiterate on the hair washing all she had to say was please make sure it’s washed not the extra bs.
