This is for the web site only. It’s one of the worst I’ve ever encountered. I’ve tried unsuccessfully to sign up for the patient portal. You can sign in but not sign up. This is an area that needs to be the most friendly and is just a joke. Get a new tech group!!

I was never sent copies of my bills. Instead they sent them to collections. Who in turn sat on them for 3 yrs. Now they are going after me like a rabid pitbull. Thank you billing dept for screwing up my credit. I appreciate it SO much.

Waiting while people who sign in after receive attention first....56 minutes and counting. 12 people have been helped before us and 9 of them came after my appointment. Maybe my last name is not so important perhaps??? Oh the speculations!!!

If I could give zero stars, I would. It took almost three hours to have me seen in the ER when I was the only patient in the waiting room AND no patients were in any rooms when I was finally brought back. I had severe abdominal pain, the doctor REFUSED to give me any liquids or pain medication even though I was keeled over and writhing in pain. He literally sat back in his chair while I pleaded for him to help me, and laughed in my face. His words were “HA. Maybe you’re just PMS-ing and being slightly dramatic. You girls tend to do that.” He then refused to do anything so we attempted to leave, he then tried to throw a fit and wouldn’t allow me to and tried to charge me for it, my family had to step in and make him back off. A few more doctor visits later, with someone much more qualified than him, we have found out that I have an extremely dangerous disease in my bowels and my organ walls were so broken down that microscopic tears began to form, allowing bacteria to leak into my abdomen, nearly causing sepsis. I am on antibiotics now and doing well, no thanks to this terrible hospital.

Pathetic place of Service, you won’t get the proper care you need, You’ll suffer from depression,anxiety, & high blood pressure wondering & waiting for a call back to see how you’re health is I had to call them back to get results & answers weeks after the fact & Don’t expect to hear from you’re actual DR nor get to talk to him. Every single time I come here I am treated like a queen. Every doctor or nurse I have seen is beyond amazing. This hospital and the work they put into their patients is phenomenal. I would give his hospital 10 stars if I could. Definitely recommend it to ANYBODY for ANYTHING. I'm always amazed at how great they are.

Unprofessional. Worse customer service ever. I constantly wait 5 or more days for my perscription to be filled and it takes at least one phone call to the office to get them to send it through. I was told today I was gossiped about by staff as someone unpleasent to speak with on the phone. How confidential and professional is that? And now because I was rude to a staff memeber that was being rude to me the doctor is refusing to see me. How childish is that? If you want a highschool drama gossipy experience please by all means go to regional west fo all your medical needs.

Paying a bill at this place is damn near impossible! I talked to 3 different people in the billing department and all 3 tell me that my account says something different. They're very rude and condescending when they talk to you and always quick to threaten to turn your bill to collections. Even though we were paying over the suggested amount on time every month! I'm sick of forking out money that they can't keep track of. Definitely keep a close eye on your personal records at home! The hospital ended up having to write me a check for $200!

So my mom thought she could come from Torrington and get the most help here well so far nothing good has happened. She’s been having stomach pains for awhile now we’ll the doctors did all these test and they came to conclusions that she needed her gallbladder remove well at first the doctors that make thousands or millions of dollars couldn’t attend to her much because it wasn’t serious enough oh and it was during s holiday week so no one was on call. So they were able to do the surgery on Friday and she came out of it ok but the pain is still there two days later and they have her on all these strong narcotics medicine that’s not making her eat or be herself atleast she’s like a walking zombie. So the doctor said that next thing they would have to do is stick a scope and see what’s in her stomach that still hurting her so really maybe this whole time she didn’t even need that gallbladder remove.. So sick of this place and just so they don’t have to do there job and wait till Monday they keep putting these strong medicine to cure the pain! I don’t recommend this place at all!

They learn you have a mental disability, then tell you everything is in your head. I have had to go to Colorado to get help, finding it is the exact opposite of what they told me. I now need to go to Colorado to get medical care. Because these yahoos do not care if you are ill or not, you are just a paycheck to them.

I have never been to this hospital yet they turned us over to collections before even sending us a bill. Funny the collection agency found us, we've lived at the same address for many years, but the hospital never even made an attempt. I understand blood work was sent from our hospital to RWMC but to never bill us, never bill our insurance and send us directly to collections is ridiculous! WE PAY OUR BILLS! I've left 2 messages with no call back and the last time I called the operator sent me to the fax machine so I got screeching in my ears! No one answers the phone I was sent to a voice mail on every call. What kind of business office is this?? I paid the bill to the collection agency just to make sure my credit is messed with.

Can you give a place 0 stars? This was a terrible experience for my boyfriend and I. My boyfriend broke his hand, yet waited a WEEK to go to the ER because we don't have insurance and he wanted to be sure there was an injury. Once the swelling didn't go down, we had to go in. We were there for SIX hours. Once we got back the actual room, the nurse put his hand in a splint, she did not explain why she was doing this or anything, she just did. The dr. then came in and took his hand out of the splint. Then, he rebroke his hand back into place, and put the splint back on. As my boyfriend was in Xray, the doc came back into our room to inform us that they had placed the bone wrong while splinting it and had to break it...yet again. This time he did it with no block or numbing. He was an animal. He proceeded to tell me and my boyfriend that is was our fault we were in the positon we were in, and that he will "learn his lesson." I was furious. 1st, this is very unprofessional. 2nd, he has no idea that our intentions were financial, and we would have been there right away had we had insurance. 3rd, the second breaking was not "our fault," it was his. After all this was said and done, the nurse comes in and was also very rude. She fought with my mother and I the entire time and we had to get a different nurse. Here is the best part. The orthopedics call the next day, and his hand is now is such a bad position from being broken all those times.. he has to have surgery. The doctors tell us to schedule the surgery for tomorrow. So we call to do so. They tell us they will call back. They call back, and tell us they will call back AGAIN. The second call they tell us they cannot schedule anything without financial aide. I think they should have known this from the beginning, and told us this when we were sitting face to face with them instead of waiting until less than a day before he is supposed to have surgery. This whole experience has me so shaken up. We will go elsewhere next time- which I feel is something I should not have to say about my HOMETOWN hospital.

Wish to give a negative star rating unfortunately that's not a option. Terrible service offered at this place. They will send the bills without appropriate explanation of charges. Billing customer service is a joke. Many times it's so tough to reach them. If you are fortunate to reach them, they may hang the calls halfway through the dialogue. Do you know, they even send the bills to collection agency without notifying the customer. Only the ill-fated and unfortunate people will land on their services to screw-up their credit history and peace of mind. I strongly suggest all those who received bills from them, please check your credit history, as they may send your bills to collection without your consent or notice.

I think some here are racist-- put me in isolation/quarantine for stomach pains; asked if I hade some contagious disease, they said no; asked why in quarantine and they said "no reason." Worst place I was ever in-- unfortunately if you live in the area you have no choice- only hospital/ER in town. Isolation quarantine room was very small, at the far end of a long hall away from the other rooms and the nurses'' station. Trying to hide me?

Visited ER twice . 1st was not the best . 2nd time received great care and excellent service. Have been there several times Always been well taken care of . As for the other neg. posts . Ppl are only human. Accidents happen My 1st visit to the ER it was very busy and Er stands for emergency room.

I gave two stars because the specialty docs we have seen are great. So far between my husband and I, we have seen GI, Orthopedic, and Pulmonary. The hospital and it's billing practices, well, I'm shocked the hospital is still in business. I'm orginally from Alaska where our healthcare is sort of a joke anywhere outside of Anchorage, and this place makes me incredibly homesick. We have one of the best insurance policies in the nation. Even with that said they charge so much for services! Therefore, whatever they "guesstimate" your insurance won't cover, they charge you upfront BEFORE you even receive the services. They tried to make my husband pay almost $600 upfront just to get his MRI, before he could even walk in to get it done. He canceled on them, and they lost a patient. They sent me a bill, saying I owed additional money for my pulmonary testing, after I paid $240 upfront to have the test done (the gentleman who did the test was great). I called and argued it, and low and behold, they actually owed me money back! They also seem to charge a hell of a lot more than anyone would charge you in Colorado as well. If you need a specialty clinic, imaging, etc, save yourself the time and money and just drive over to Denver. We have personally moved all of our care over to there.

This hospital has literally ruined the last 9 years of my life. All they could do was throw pain killers at me without regard to other treatments. They have ruined m me physically, mentally and financially. All because RWMC choose not to get me help, not me.

I had to took my husband to the ER to for vomiting blood and intense abdominal pain. Yeah the ER nurses were very nice, and fast, but after doing CAT scans and multiple bouts of bloodwork they sent him home on some nausea pills. No diagnosis. He had to go back the next morning because the pain was awful. They admitted him for two days, didn't do any more testing, there was a whole day when he didn't even see a doctor, and the specialist never even showed up. The upstairs nurses took hours to give him any medication after it was requested since apparently they can't be trusted to do a dosing schedule. We overheard the nurses in the hallway get mad at a new nurse for not prioritizing insured patients, she literally said 'we treat people who pay for insurance first everyone else is secondary'. There was another patient in the room who had been there for five days and had only seen a doctor twice, his nurse cut his therapy short because she 'had more important patients to get to'. They're not even ashamed of their unethical practices. When a doctor came to discharge he basically tried to call my husband an addict and shove him out the door with a pain script. Never did get a diagnosis, not even differentials. If you're on Medicare or uninsured don't bother with this hospital, because they can't be bothered with you.

First off I went to the hospital for a broken arm and was told if I went that morning I could get the operation that afternoon. After I checked in and was prepped the schedule changed to the next morning, then the next morning the operation was changed to that night at 8pm. Then I was held another day before I was allowed to leave making it a 3 day stay instead of a day and a half. The staff was great but now my problem. PAYING THE BILL. I have been sending $ 50 per month for 5 months because I have had a total of 9 medical services I need to pay off. I was harassed by the billing department from Regional West medical Center to pay at least $ 158 or my bill would be turned over to a collection agency, they didn't care that I was making payment to other services they just wanted their total billing amount. I am now marked as uncooperative. I was told by the last person I talked to on the phone that her supervisor would call me back in 24 hours or less. Its been a week and still no call. I have been working with all of the other Dr's and the other 2 hospitals to get the bills payed and this is the only hospital that will not work with me and accept $ 50 per month. I am paying $250 a month in bills and this hospital is saying I am UNCOOPERATIVE. They want my private income and bills information so they can tell me how to spend the money I earn and what bills they feel are non-essential (wording from one of their collecting department employees). I have not asked for a discount I just want to pay it off at what I can afford and not they are going to turn me over to collections and get 1/2 of what is collected from the collections agency??? in stead of letting me pay $50 per month until I have it paid off. What kind of hospital is it that keeps patients longer, doesn't work with them to get paid and threatens them over the phone????? and then calls the patient uncooperative????

Very clean facility. The staff was very helpful. Only suggestion I have to anyone is to ABSOLUTELY AVOID DR. CAESAR AT ALL COSTS. The guy is undoubtedly incompetent and comes no where close to earning the title of "doctor."

Came in because my son was bleeding from the mouth after having tonciles taken out a few days before. Called Dr they advised bring him to ER to get looked at. Come in son bleeding from mouth they advise us it going to be awhile tell he could be seen. No lets see what we can do or lets take a quick look to see if its serious just wait tell a dr can see you. This hospital is horrible avoid it like the plague.

# 5 STARS. My experience with Dr Haque and the Spine Center was amazing. I was treated with respect and was pleased with my care and surgery. I was in the hospital four days and the nursing staff was caring and present. I had an emergency and return to surgery were the staff and my doctor proved Regional West can and will deal with an emergency situation. I have absolutely no complaints about my care and treatment at Regional West. # 5 Stars.

The hospital is not very clean. The birth center waiting room was dirty and needed to be vacuumed. The bathroom was not tended to the entire time we were there and there was no toilet paper and the toilet and sink had not been cleaned. . The hallways leading to the cafeteria had not been swept or mopped. The trash cans in the birth center and through out other areas in the hospital were over flowing. The bathrooms at the main entrance were also dirty. The toilets had not been cleaned and the trash was also full. I have never seen the hospital look like this before. We are here every month due to my grandmothers appointments.
