This was the worst experience ever. The nurses were so rude and rough. One nurse was jamming my clothes on to shove me out the door while the other refused to medicate me. The worst experience. ...I can't believe they are nurses. Terrible just terrible.

This hospital and the physicians working there are an arch-typical example of ¨for-profit¨ medical care: my mother-in-law was told by the physicians at the hospital that they will be no problem for Medicare to allow a 3-4 week long stay at the rehabilitation center - she was informed about it in advance and, again, 1 day before the surgery. It was critical because she lives alone and her family lives abroad. Immediately following the surgery, she was told that Medicare did not allow the rehabilitation stay. I consider it as a CLEAR EXAMPLE WHERE THE ¨FOR PROFIT¨ MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENT (I cannot call it a ¨healthcare¨ since it is NOT) took advantage of an elderly person to extract tens of thousands of $$$ from Medicare and then throw her to the street with no obligations thereafter. SHAME ON SO-CALLED ¨MEDICAL ESTABLISHMENT¨ WHERE NO ONE CARES and the Hippocrates oath is long forgotten! I will make sure that me and my family will do everything possible to make sure that people know about such an attitude of this ¨hospital¨ personnel. In addition, I will also do everything possible to ensure that the reputation of this institution will get what it deserves.

Dr Scott Renyolds is a top shelf orthopedic surgeon. I had my left shoulder replaced in the afternoon went home the next morning with no need for any pain meds except acetaminophen. I can truly appreciate his special talent from practicing veterinary medicine for the past 30 plus years. He is truly gifted. Omaha is very fortunate to have a world-class surgeon like Dr Renyolds. The entire supporting staff compliments the entire experience with friendly compassionate care.

I had hip surgery here yesterday. First of all Dr. Burt is the best doctor I've ever met. They treated me like a queen. The nurses, CNA, anesthesiologists and everyone are amazing. They could give lessons on how to treat a patient to others. I highly recommend if you have an ortho problem that you go here.

Just had hip surgery there yesterday. It was the absolute best experience! Everyone went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed. The anesthesiologist called me the day before so we could come up with an anesthesia plan that would eliminat my nausea... which no anesthesiologist had ever done before. I would highly recommended them!

Have been to NOH a number of times in their PT department. They always get me set straight and work realistically with me on my goals and my pain.

I called to schedule an appointment for a knee re-evaluation.....I had an arthoscopic surgery on my right knee in 2005 due to a terrible triad injury. They said that they would not see me until they reviewed the medical records from 2005 and determined if they "wanted" to see me or not! I have the records and have no problem providing them to any physician, however; how would that determine the problem now??? I am in pain now there is a new issue and I was refused service.

I have had over 20+ surgeries at NOH but the last one I had for a bunion went way wrong and all the surgeon could do was blame me saying I missed one appointment even though I followed all his advice etc. Now we are hounded by their billing dept., even though we have auto-pay setup. In fact, they continue to double bill us each month so we have to contact them and have them correct the auto deduct. I used to love this place but in the last 3 years they have gotten really bad.

Doing business with Nebraska Orthopedic Hospital is easy because of their constant contact, as communication is very important to me. I would recommend Nebraska Orthopaedic Hospital to anyone in the surrounding areas because of their level of professionalism.
