Great staff and clean facility! Everytime we have brought any of our dogs in they have treated them amazingly. The staff truly know what they are doing and their passion shows by the way they treat the animals. Our dogs are a part of our family and I am glad that I can trust Mitchell Valley Animal Hospital to keep them healthy and happy.

Use to swear by this place until they forced me to keep my dog over night because they held information they were supposed to have in order that they told me they would send to a following vets office since they aren’t capable of doing a surgery that everyone else can do racking on yet another bill and I go to pick her up the next day and they sent her out of the door to leave without giving me any of her pain medications. When I asked for it the lady at the front desks has to double check cuz she doesn’t think she gets any.... really you think it’s ok to send a dog out of your building with a broken leg without any medication... I’m not pleased with this place and won’t be returning Update** now that I am calm and can explain better I’d like to add that they were to wrap her broken leg ASAP but neglected her for over 24hours not wrapping it until I had called multiple times wondering if I could get my dog since they couldn’t do anything for her. The older vet tech is extremely rude and doesn’t care about animals at all in my opinion. She seems like she hates her job. In the end I took karen to Goshen In Torrington to see the male doctor and he did wonderful with her, and it cost me 3 times less then what they charge here. He called and checked up on her, he was really caring and I could tell he actually cared for animals and their pain. The drive is worth it for your pet, they will just be neglected if you continue to take them to Mitchell. And I keep hearing more and more horror stories from this clinic as time passes.

The absolute best vet around!! The cost is more than fare ( very low cost). Very clean. They are kind and get you in quickly.

Good people, reasonable prices. We took our 10 year old Jack Russell to them for dental work. She reached down picked him up no problem. One of the other vet offices made me muzzle him and was afraid of him.

I went here to get my great dane neuter. He ended up worst off he swelled up to the size of a soft ball i paid over 400 dollars for this he stayed there for 8 days after which i also paid for he came home still swollen and bleeding they said it would go away it didnt!!!! Had to pay another vet in torrington to fix this problem it cost me 400 dollar to fix there mistake it should not have happened in the first place my dog was in pain and uncomfortable for 10 days until the other vet fixed it and now he looks like it never happed. I will not be going back to the vet in mitchell i would be very careful if u do!!!
