DESCRIPTION

We've got all the opinions of people like you who know the services of Methodist Fremont Health (Hospital) near Nebraska.

At present the business has a score of 2.5 stars over 5 and the score is based on 48 reviews.

You may have noticed that it reaches an feddbacks average is really insufficient, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we may be pretty sure that the valuation is quite reliable. If people have bothered to evaluate when they've done well, it works.

As you know, we don't usually bother to set scores when these are good and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

This Hospital corresponds to the category of General hospital.

REVIEWS OF Methodist Fremont Health IN Nebraska

Easily the most expensive place in Nebraska. They charge 200% on everything because there is no where else to go. It is 300% compared to Omaha.

Claims department is a joke. Took photocopy of my insurance card and when they sent claim it was off by five numbers. How?? Lost a check sent to them by my insurance company. Stay away if you expect a competent claims and billing department

Under the new ownership, Methodist in fremont nebraska, beware insurance has been cut hugely, there policy was a hugh disappointment for many it was supposed to be better than the blue cross provider policy that was provided by fremont area medical center , to employees ,haha not even close now they are sticking it to the employees bad , what a spit in the face it is horrible ,allways 3 people short understaffed ,an super visors an employees left to make up for the shortfall , not recommended

Fue horrible, mi esposa embarazada esperando 4 horas sin ser atendida, pésimo lugar

My husb. Had heart attack they saved him. The care was the best. My sister is RN she came and very impressed with hosp. And the care he got.

Would not recommend. Went to ER for a few hours. Received a couple injections of meds via an IV. Then went home. Costs are currently over $10,000. Getting anyone to pay attention and listen was difficult. Spent more time left alone then anyone trying to do anything. It's no wonder people in Fremont go to Omaha for medical attention. I will to now.

I was quickly healed from appendicitis here.

Went there for a procedure because of a recommendation from my local healthcare provider- so grateful I chose this facility! From the moment I walked in, I received top-notch professionalism and truly dedicated team members. The care, the facility, the employees were amazing! When people ask where I went for my hysterectomy, I always let them know and highly recommend this healthcare facility!

This hospital has screwed up so many times in so many ways on multiple family members of mine. It doesn't matter what department; ER, In-patient or Out-patient- the errors, disregard for your outcome and lack of skills, respect and compassion flows throughout the facility so much that it must be a requirement in order to work there. And the most pathetic of all is when you make a complaint to the head of the department, they'll listen with a kind ear and then turn around and do nothing about it.

Went in with a foot ulcer that was obviously infected spent 2 hours there no bloodwork or cultures done they gave me an antibiotic and said your good Basically told me I'm not their problem and to go to the wound clinic. I had a severely nacrotic(dead tissue) foot and had to have a lot of it cut away and the emergency room said nothing to me about it. Garbage emergency department if you get into an accident you have better survival odds to have the ambulance take you to omaha or Lincoln

Honestly, I don't understand why there is such a negative amount of reviews for this hospital. I'm 60 years old and I've had several surgeries over the years in almost every hospital in Omaha. And each experience has been extremely unpleasant in comparison to the Fremont Health Medical Center. I only stayed for one night but it was the most pleasurable stay. The staff, (Nurses and their assistants) and all the on-call doctors were very professional and attentive. If there was a choice in the future to have surgery it would be at this hospital. Thank you all at the hospital from the easy check-in, pre-op nurses, Anesthesiologist, my doctor and the hospital staff. VERY PROFESSIONAL!!

If you are dieing pass this hospital it will kill you faster drive the extra 20 mins to Omaha will more then likely save your life

Israel Castaneda

I would go to an Omaha hospital if possible. I waited 3-4 hours in the emergency room to have my mom admitted. At some point they decided my mom was OK to go home and was readmitted two days later for the same condition.

Poor communication and delay

This place is an absolute joke of a medical facility. Some facts. 1) they kill people, look up the hepatitus outbreak in 2004 that they got away with, it was most definitrly their fault. My grandmother was a fatality 2) they will charge you outrageous amounts for slow, lazy service. 3) if you had a positive experience its because they were milking your insurance for all they could, dont be an idiot it was nothing more than that 4) they have no ethics and no problems repeatedly suing low income families for their trash service that they grossly overcharged for. This hospital is everything wrong with our medical system and beyond.

Worst service ever. Not to mention the fact that they bill you wrong and still expect you to pay for their mistakes. I'll never go back to Fremont Health. I'll just drive to Omaha for a Dr , thank you very much.

Dr Jackson Dident do anything but get angry he has no bed side manner nurse Bryan you gave 110 percent and when you're could has a concussion and is confused and is acting different ,he is scared and I am scared we don't need a lecture. His blood pressure was high he spent 5 minutes in the room and there was one other truck in the parking lot

I had an amazing birth experience at Fremont Health. I desired a natural medication free labor. I was supported and encouraged through the whole thing. 17 months later my nurses still reach out in the grocery aisle to congratulate me and tell me how awesome I did. To say this was an empowering experience is an understatement. My first baby was born in Omaha. My second in Fremont. Should I ever have a third, I have no hesitation go to Fremont Health to again. They treated me and my husband with kindness beyond measure. Thank you!

I visited the Fremont Health emergency room on March 11-12, 2017. My admission procedure was very smooth and I was taken back within 5 minutes. My nurse, Missy, and Dr. Hoffman were thorough, very kind and attentive. I want to especially mention the ultrasound tech, Linda, who was on call that very early morning, and was exceptionally sweet and gentle. I was turned over to the surgical team and the continuity of wonderful care continued there. The facility was beautiful and clean! My surgeon, Dr. Pentel, Nurse Anesthetist, Kent, and nurses, Carolyn, Kelly, Jill, and Megan were all phenomenal. They were extraordinarily busy but made time to take great care of me and my husband during my stay. Everyone had a caring, friendly personality and shared all of the details of the "what to expects". It was obvious that their team focuses on building relationships and all-around professionalism. Thanks for making a scary situation less so! PS, I know that I forgot to mention a couple of people by name and I do apologize.

came in for a reaction to migraine meds, they tried to treat migraine rather than the reaction... nurse proceeded to poke herself with a needle and run out of the room without shutting the door, came back later to give another shot and once again RECAPPED the needle! dr. battens bedside manner was awful, very condescending and short. told CT results would be back in half hour, waited 2 hours. will drive to omaha next time even on my dying breath, WHAT A JOKE

If you have a real emergency DO NOT go here. The nurses were fine but Dr. Barrett (i think thats his name) has THE WORST bedside manner and failed to find anything wrong with me. He prescribed me meds that made it worse. He borderline yelled at me. He would not listen to me and dismissed most of my issues. Had i not went to another hospital I would have died.

Stayed for 3 nights and delivered my son there. This was easily the best experience I've ever had with hospitals. All of the nurses were phenomenal and every staff member was friendly and genuinely cared about my wishes. I would recommend this hospital for the birth of a baby above others nearby!

Tyler Short

Worst medical center ever. Missed diagnosed my daughter's emergency. Charged $1400 sent to children's hospital by ambulance cost $1500. Children's immediately diagnosed treated and cost $585. So we spent $3000 for absolutely nothing !!! I will take my chances in a do or die situation to drive to Omaha !!

Jim McMahon

I go for regular treatment a few times a month for outpatient treatment. I have found the clerical staff, nurses and technicians nothing but professional, helpful and kind.

Midwest Tech

This hospital openly engaged in age-specific discrimination. My fiancé, whom was having terrible pains in her side, was asked several times as to wether or not she was pregnant. After repeated attempts of trying to tell the hospital staff that she was indeed not pregnant, and that we were strict users of birth control, the hospital ran a series of tests to say “well, you’re not pregnant.” Aside from the age-based discrimination, the staff at the front desk was egregiously rude, pushing paperwork on someone that couldn’t even stand, let alone focous and write, in the rudest manner. If you want to be persecuted as Scarlet Letter A, and have hospital staff accuse you of being pregnant, while in severe pain, based solely off of your age, come to Fremont Health. If a 35- year-old female complained of side pain, you surely wouldn’t accuse them of being pregnant multiple times. Any energy used asking about pregnancy MULTIPLE times could have been used to actually figure something out. Don’t go here, go somewhere else!

I was treated very unprofessional in the ER. But the Staff on the 5th floor always very professional and helpful 4 stars for the 5th floor staff.

Tara Borisow

My son has a chronic medical condition requiring way too frequent trips to the ER, the doctors listen and always get him his meds and fluids fast! People complaining about wait times, those are the same everywhere and based on your condition. If you feel like you are being kept in a room for hours on end for no reason, that usually means they are closely monitoring something abnormal on your monitors and even though the docs may only pop in once or twice, they are watching and monitoring from the nurses station. Also an ER is meant to save your life if needed, or to stabilize you until you can see your regular doctor. They aren’t going to call in surgeons and specialists in the middle of the night unless it’s life or death.

m rose Baker

I have been to this hospital several times with no other choice !!! the nurses are rude!! most of them don't know what they are doing and they have to poke you 5 times just to get a vein!!! I wouldn't take my dead dog there if I had to!!! brother in law they thought had a stroke so they life flighted him to university in Omaha and took er doctor and nurses over an hour to get them ready to go!!! pilots of helicopter were not happy at all , neither was our family!!! if you can help it go to lakeside or university!!! I don't trust anywhere else for my family!!!

Serena Toomey

I hate this place and the nurses in ob... well the have no respect for the family of the patient, whom are just as stressed and worried as the patient.

Theresa Mckinley

FAMC charge insanely way to much and don't even have the skills or knowledge to back it up. the facility looks nice and updated but I wouldn't ever send anyone there unless it was a life and death situation and they were not stable enough to hang on for the 20 min ride to omaha. I work with the public daily and I never hear good reviews of this hospital from clients, I've been to the ER myself twice and once to the radiology department, I've been there several times with our grandparents and not once have I been left a good impression. Don't bother with FAMC if you have a choice just go straight to Omaha

Jerry Cellison

Burn it down.

Evan Hines

Bummer thought the transition to methodist would mean they'd care about their reputation. Guess not still just as horrible as always with their billing. I'd rather take the risk dying than go to this hospital.
