My mom was there when she had atrail fibrilation and got the best care from the best heart doctors in Nebraska! Got her signed in and ordered me out of the room and shocked her heart and got it back to the right rythum again! Couldn't ask for better or sweeter doctors and did what they where supposed to do! Job well done!

Went here to have a stent placed in one of my arteries. I got the feeling that the doctors were very competent. However, the large and open operating/procedure room had an assembly line feel to it. No molly coddling here, just business...in and out. One of the older nurses was overbearing and needs direction on how to treat patients. Another had me sit up on my bed to go on a mandatory walk. She left and said she'd be back in a few minutes. An hour and a half later she shows up....I had gotten back in bed long before that. My stay at St. Elizabeth's was a much better experience. If I ever need any more heart related work done, I'll go to Bryan.

I love this place. The doctors are wonderful the staff is great. Excellent care ! What I really love is the caring and professional way everyone treats you.. Some appointments are quickly done but if you need the extra time to talk they give it too you. They work with your other doctors and stay up to date on all your health care needs. Heart surgery can be very scary but they understand and help you through all of it.

After having such a horrible experience with Bryan Heart, I decided to try Nebraska Heart (since it couldn't possibly be worse). Dr. Mentzer treated me wonderfully and actually listened to me. She found a good treatment for my PVC's. I'll never go anywhere else!

Dr. Wudel was my dad’s surgeon. Highly recommend Dr. Wudel and all the staff at CHI. He was very professional and calming to our family during my dad’s recovery. Dr. Martin was the cardiologist. I didn’t get to meet him but my dad spoke very highly of him as well. My dad is a retired physician and did his homework on where and who would perform his surgery. All nurses are very competent and explained everything they were doing and why. Dad had aortic stenosis and a valve replacement. Minimally invasive procedure. If you or a loved one require heart surgery this is the place to have it completed. Top notch care!

Best people you could hope for. They listen and explain things very clearly. Dr. Khalid is a great doctor that is knowledgeable and cares. I was lucky that he helped me find out i had pulmonary hypertension and did the research and made the calls to get me better. I highly recommend NHI and its staff because they may have saved my life.
