I don't need a Dr. For my Spiritual Awakening DNA activation code. I need my family

We <3 Dr Fraboni in family practice, he has delivered two of my littles and will be delivering our 3rd in a few months. HE IS AMAZING but BUSY. The birthplace has amazing nurses, but on your last day the experience falls short based off two experiences - they just don't seem driven to bring a wonderful experience full circle. The emergency room is hit or miss and that entirely depends on the doctor on staff - I dont think we have ever had a nurse in the emergency room that wasn't amazing, but the doctor tends to hinder the experience. Anderson always seems to do everything in his power to make things better, however there is an ?Asian? doctor that is TERRIBLE beware likely if he helps you or your kids you will end up back in emergency or with your regular doc days later with the same issues.

They do not keep this place in good shape. Its hit or miss to with doctors....some are so god awful and rude and a small handful of them are only ok.They mis diagnose on everything big and small so you end up having to diagnose yourself and argue with the doctors for testing. They are dangerously under informed. The pharmacy was on the news not long ago for giving someone a perscription without checking to see if it would interact with thier other meds and it almost killed them. The doctors keep quiting. There are so few left that apointments are scheduled REALLY far out. They dont offer counseling anymore.they dont keep the place clean....sick receptio ists at check in hand you masks with hands theyve coughed all over while there obviously sick!!They are also RUDE and unorganized everytime ive gone to checkin.I would go far far away from this place.and everytime ive gone to north woods ive faced 1.5 hr wait times, unacceptable.

Went to the ER here for my daughter's broken thumb and was happy with the care she received. Back a week later with my husband who was having chest pain and long story short, had a horrible experience. I would go to this ER again for something like stitches or a broken bone. I would NOT come back for anything happening internally! Save yourself time, grief and money and go somewhere else.

Thank you to Dr.Lesko, and my very helpful staff Shirley RN, Chris (recovery room nurse), Kay (discharge nurse) and ofcourse my OR Crew, Pete CRNT, Mary RN, Cory CST, and Krystal STS. Your awesome !! Absolutely Sucked, I drove up from So Mpls, to Primcenton. I ended up being 20 minutes late and they No-Showed me..

We LOVE Dr. Fischer, Dr. Fraboni, and the clinic staff. We LOVE the birth unit and the staff up there. Our family won't go anywhere else! More than 5 stars for them! The ER is a whole other story. Do not use the ER here, it is horrendous. The clinic and birth center, absolutely, but not the ER. We will never ever use their ER again. You will not get the care that's vitally necessary or tests run that are vitally necessary, you'll just get jerked around long enough for them to claim they did their job (when they didn't) and you'll be sent home the same way you came in. Lazy and incompetent! The ER doesn't even deserve one star. Make the extra drive for a different ER.

This is a terrible place to go dont waste your time ..doctors were rude ..the receptionist was super nice maybe they can make her a doctor.

Kaira Tatreiz

Had my second child here and the birthing center was amazing! The nurses were attentive, fun and kind to everyone. Seriously, the staff made the experience a blast. The actual labor started. I'm dying of pain and they're making me laugh. I loved it. I was let down when I heard the doctor I had chosen couldn't make it. Which I knew in advance was a possibility. Dr. Fischer came in her place and he was fantastic! He even had my daughter prep and help with the aftercare of her new brother. These people are amazing.

I went to the specialty care clinic a few months ago. My appointment was for 10:30. I was called in to the exam room at 11:10. I sat in the exam room until 11:55. The Physicians assistant came in asked a few questions then left saying the Dr. would be in shortly. Finally at 12:40 the Dr. came in asked me 2 questions and left. My time with the Dr. was 27 seconds, I timed it. Today I had an appointment at 11:00. After waiting in the waiting room and then later the exam room, I left at 12:25 without seeing a Doctor. Hey Fairview, your patients time is valuable to them, how about you respect them?

Scheduled clinic visit at Specialty Clinic (the new building) was nearly double the cost of other regular clinics. I wouldn't suggest going to the Specialty Clinic for lower level diagnosis. The Dr. did give us accurate, sound medical advice though.

I had my son here. The staff are amazing!!

Jackie Athman

Just want their money.

Mitch BP

Been bleeding in the lobby of the er for approximately 2 hours probably going to die soon! If you have 3 days to wait for treatment this your spot!!

Mat Viney

Be prepared to wait. Very unimpressed with the consideration of people's time here. Still waiting for an appointment 45 min after. Why not just say you have to reschedule?

James Barker

Really not even a star. Trashy customer service.. just got off the phone with them. I was in a sever car accident. I was just informed that they could not help me with my pain management as I don’t have my primary doctor with Fairview... keep in mind I have had exrays MRI ‘s all kinds of appointments with them. North Memorial is so much more professional!! I guess that’s why when I was air lifted we flew right over Princeton Fairview Hospital... Thank GOD! I will never step foot in a Fairview clinic or hospital. I am also not going to use your pharmacy :)

Fred Carlson

They are great always have been well taken care of, the staff is wonderful

KORY STROMBERG

My boyfriend went in to have hernia surgery and we were told that all went well. While his mother and I waited for him we never got to see, talk to, or meet the surgeon. Robert brownawell. When we got to go back in to my boyfriends room we asked to see the surgeon saying that we hadn’t. The nurse doing the discharge work told us that everything went fine there was no surprises. Two weeks later when he went in for a check up with Robert he learned that they had also removed a cyst that’s why there was another incision in his navel. Not sure why we weren’t told this before. Or why we were told it all went according to plan when we were all unaware that he had a cyst and that they had also Removed it. I definitely do not feel comfortable going to the hospital again. How do you not tell a patient you also had to cut them open in another spot and remove something else in their body. I am very upset and feel that this has got to be some kind of violation. If it had to be removed it had to be removed and I understand but not telling your patience you also dug around to take something else out is not okay.

Ryan Flueger

The nurses, doctors, and everyone on the staff are super friendly. So much support and knowlege given i am most pleased. We were here for the birth of our daughter.

Excellent Doctors

Excellent birthing unit! My wife and I had our second child here. Previously with our first we had used a much bigger hospital about a half hour to the northwest. The feeling here was so much different and better. The staff treats you like family and they know you by name. They brought food for our family to our room so we didn't have to split apart. They have a snack area just for the dads going through the process with their wives. I'd recommend this place to anyone for a birthing experience. If we have another, we'll be back. The staff answered every single question and were not pushy like other large hospitals make you feel. In fact it doesn't really even feel like you're in a hospital.

I switched to Northland Fairview from Fairview Lakes in Wyoming late in my pregnancy. They are AMAZING here at Northland! My quality of care has been nothing short of wonderful. The nurses and doctors I have had over my stay have all made me feel like a person and listened to my wants and needs. My husband and myself cannot express how happy we are to have delivered our daughter here. 10/10 will always recommend to family/friends. All the staff here are rockstars!!

Nichole Rakow

My husband and I just had our second baby last week. Our first was at another hospital and our new son was delivered at Fairview Northland. We had an amazing experience and would recommend this hospital to any family or friend. We can not say enough great things about the staff, nurses and Dr. Peter Jensen. They communicated and explained everything to us before, after and along the way. They were amazing with our birth plan and wishes for our baby. Dr. Jensen made us feel so comfortable and was a great support for both myself and husband. We have decided to have Dr. Jensen be our family doctor and trust him with our children 100%. If anyone is considering having a baby at this hospital I would say you are in great hands and will have a great experience.

Everyone here is so nice and goes out of their way to help you. I am on crutches and someone from the office got me a wheel chair and pushed me down to the cafeteria so I could get some food while I wait for my prescription to be filled. Dr halburg is the best and everyone is just so friendly

I was hospitalized four months ago for a week at Princeton Hospital. I was treated with care, respect, and taken seriously. The nurses are by far, AMAZING, as well as the doctor's! Tonight, I ended back in the ER and was once again treated with care, respect, and again, taken seriously for my ailment. I love the small town feel, how everyone, from the greeter to the receptionist, nurses, doctor's, x-ray technicians, billing... literally everyone, treats you with care. Thank you Princeton hospital for taking care of me.

Michelle Cunningham

My mom moved here from Virginia, MN and has been so impressed with the services they provide and the timeliness of the appointments. She also loves how professional everyone has been. Keep up the great work!

Katie Jendro

Nothing but good things to say. We have used Dr. Peterson for years and Dr. Mayerchak was wonderful for a recent procedure.

Came in this afternoon and the Receptionist was really pleasent.....the triage nurse was a little rude And the ER nurse couldn't be bothered Thank goodness the Dr came right away and was awesome I was about to leave and go to Mercy

We weren't near home and had an emergency with our little 3 year old splitting her head open and rushed to the ER. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the doctor was so nice to our little one and her sister. He let her hear her heartbeat, got stickers, and even a stuffed animal to lift their spirits. With the treatment and kid-centered attention we received, it felt like we were in a Children's hospital. What a surprisingly great experience during a rough time! THANK YOU!

Whenever I used this Hospital it was great!

Ang Pickering

Waited 3 hours for stitches on a dog bite, and they never ran x-rays to see if there was any other problems. I went back two years later to have my son, and I don't recommend going there. I loved my doctor, but the nurses were my main issue. Didn't matter that I didn't want 16 people doing cervical checks, or that I was getting really stressed because I felt like I had been violated. Birth isn't supposed to be a 3 ring circus. 48 hours of labor, to many cervical checks, pain meds wore off during C-section, and almost 7 months later I'm still in pain from it and can't even bring myself to go back to be seen for it.

SKay S

So far it's been a great place to take my family!

Jamie Hogie

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in for severe back pain and was told by the doctor that I was drug seeking because I had not taken a fall etc. I have had 19 spinal surgeries and have severe osteoporosis among other things but he didn't even take a Hx. He sent me home feeling dejected and later that night I was taken to Abbott where it was discovered that I had 3 spinal fractures. This Dr medically gaslighted me and it is not ok. I am a nurse, I know how to advocate and if he treated me this way how is he treating otter patient's? Fairview, you need to address this, it is not ok and sooner or later you will end up with a sentinel event due to one of your inept Dr's.

Jim Michael

I don't understand how this place can call itself a hospital and the people who work there call themselves "care givers"! Nothing could be further from the truth! I brought my father (82 yrs old) in the emergency on 3/2/14 because he fell and lost the use of his legs. They did a x-ray and found nothing broken but his spine was as crooked as a lightning bolt and he could not move or use his legs. At 3:00 a.m. I received a call from the emergency room nurse that I had to come get my dad, very demanding and very direct, and that it was not an option for him to stay there. It was -15 out and it took 3 of us to load him in my van. What about when I got to my dads apartment? How many of us would it take for me to transfer him from my van to his apartment? Thank God it only took one. I dropped my dad and he laid on the ice for a few minutes but the people working the E.R. that night should all be let go. As far as I'm concerned, Dr's. Beau, Metcalf, and Zurick should all go back to school. How come none of you "educated Doctors" had the foresight to take a x-ray of my dads back 6 months ago and find the bulging disks that are killing the nerves in his legs? You're operating a bad facility and you have extremely bad pratices and I'm ashamed to say you're operating such an uncaring facility in my hometown. You have nothing to be proud of. Be thankful that I don't tell anyone on here how you killed my mother by ignoring her for two hours when my dad brought her in with her stroke several years ago. You people make me sick!!!

Joanna Dobbe

This is an exceptional hospital and overall medical center. The ER, hospital, pharmacy and clinic is all staffed with wonderful professionals from the office staff and medical staff. I deal with a rare disease and have my specialty doctors at Mayo clinic but use Northland medical for my local needs which are many. I have lived all over the U.S. and have been sick for over fifteen years. So I have been in many ERS and many times an inpatient admmitted from the ER. I've even stayed inpatient at Mayo, UW of Madison, UPMC, and other top rated hospitals. This hospital is just as good and in many instances better, as it's big enough and yet still has small town feel, values, and people. As far as a clinic, it's wonderful to have everything under one roof and see my primary care physician, get my prescriptions, get labs, get infusions and walk out feeling like a human being and not a number. As far as negative reviews go, yes you are walking into a hospital where in the ER they treat you like every other ER - on a medical needs based assessment. If you come by ambulance you will not automatically get seen before those walking in the door (that's a myth). You get triaged and the nurse assess you, and you are given a number based on, symptoms, vitals, awarness/consciousness, and pain. Seeing as much as I have in ERS, the nurses know when you are or aren't in pain 99% of the time. Also remember 99% of the people in the waiting room are in pain too. I have waited over 8 hours in the ER waiting area when I lived in a big city, when they are busy they move as fast as they can and this hospital does a great job at it. Also nurses and doctors are human and make mistakes, double check your medical care. It's common sense to double-check what you're given or procedure you're having done. All in all it's a top hospital in a small town. A rare thing to have and one I am very grateful for.

Melissa Chyrklund

Mayerchak and the nurses are awesome. Doc is blunt and will tell you like it is instead of beating around the bush and all the nurses are friendly and helpful.

Went to the ER not long ago for blood pressure not decreasing despite taking meds and had a weird feeling in my chest. They told me labs were normal but come to find out my calcium was low from my primary care physician the next day. Avoid this ER.

Brad Blanski

Don't let these Doctors not tell you about post op infections. They may state in your chart that they have, but have not. I am Crippled from a post op infection. A surgery that was potentially not medically necessary. Then these Doctors do all they can not to help you once they mess up, but to help their esteemed Colleague(s). If you can, go to Cambridge or St. Cloud. It is so worth the trip. (I was required to fill out at least one star to make this post. They don't deserve it)

Sonya Olson

Jillian S

Been to the ER once and was treated well. After waiting for a year, I currently work here and love it as well. I am always treated with respect and take my job very seriously. It saddens me to read bad reviews, hope for better in the current years.

Dylan Halvorson

To bad I can’t give it a half of a star because I would. The experience I have had as a EMS provider bringing patients here have been bad. But the icing on the cake is back in June of 2018 my father was rushed by me to this hospital because it was the closest hospital to where he was living at the time and he was criticial. He was in the ER three times in the same week with the same sypthoms and every time the doctor ran the same battery of test and said go home and follow up with primary care. Mind you the doctors can see the chart and test results from the past visits and never mentioned abnormal test results to us or my father. When there was major changes every time he was in well in the end he had sepsis ( blood infection) that was causing neurological and physical changes. Thanks to one doctor here that cared he found this and started a course of treatment and had my father transferred to another hospital in Minneapolis by life flight but he died two weeks later due to the infection being to advanced and spread to his whole body. This was the official cause of death. If you can avoid this hospital at all cost I would recommend it
