Went to Urgent care/ER. I have muscular dystrophy and need special care. Everyone including the doctor were awesome! I couldn't have asked for better care.

The staff is very accommodating, specially for a hungry father watching the pregnant lady eat,as they brought a little extra for a snack and all nurses day/night are attentive to momma and baby needs

I presented to the ER on Sunday, April 29th with abdominal pain. Ended up being admitted to have my appendix removed the next morning. From the staff in the ER, to the aids that transported me from point A to point B, the radiology technician, and every nurse and doctor I encountered, were all AMAZING. I felt like I was in such good hands. I was so nervous and everyone calmed my nerves. Wonderful experience! (as far as a surgical experience can be!)

Best facility for great services!

Scott L Johnson M.D. treated me with rudeness, condescension and dismissiveness. I’ve never had a less pleasant experience in a medical setting.

Crystal Peltier

The ER staff was incredibly rude, the doctor did not listen to anything I said. When it was time for my IV to come out the nurse literally ripped it out of my arm. I have a large bruise there now and am getting tired of explaining to everyone why it looks like I was punched in the arm.

Billed me over something my insurance pays for every time I go . The only difference was I asked a question about something insurance wouldn’t cover when I left . Don’t ask doctors questions here because they feel a question is worth 300$ apparently ! Now I’m trying to get this figured out with the hospital on hold for 40 MINUTES NO JOKE I am so mad they are now gonna get the wrath when they answer ! Clean up this place !!!! And no a question is not worth 300$

We had our baby here. Great Doctors and Nurses here. A very positive experience. Exceeded expectations. Would recommend to others.

I can't say enough good things about Fairview Lakes. The Nurses, including the surgical floor nurses, Anesthesiaologist, the Mammogram dept., Dr. Ge & the Surgeon ( Dr. Torgerson) they were all so very nice & considerate of my feelings. Very good place for medical needs!

I had major surgery 2 weeks ago and over the holiday weekend I started to have some issues. My surgeon told me to go to the ER and have one of the doctors call him. After sitting there for 4 hours and having a doctor that would come in and talk to me for maybe a minute or two and as soon as I started asking questions, he would say he needs to go assist other patients and just walked out. That happened at least 4 times. He read my CT Scan results with the door wide open so everyone could hear what was going on. I asked if he contacted my surgeon and he said that my surgeon saw my CT results and they came up with a game plan. He sent me home with a list of over the counter medicine that I could purchase to make me feel better. I did what the ER doctor recommended, but not even 2 hours later I started having the same issues, so I ended up calling my surgeon once again to see what I should do. Turns out, the ER doctor followed nothing that my surgeon recommended and I ended up going back up there to get what I actually needed a few hours later. I won't return, I'll drive the extra distance for better care somewhere else!

The nurses are so so nice!

Dont ever go here, went in yesterday with symptoms of a concussion, they wanted to do a ct scan I said no after an hour and a half already sitting there, went back in today for a doctor's note they told me no because I refused the ct scan, any good doctor can tell if someone has a concussion without a ct scan this place is a joke. Not to mention sat in the room for 35 minutes before the doctor even came in.

Diane Reineccius

I would give them a zero if I could.

WORST ER EVER!!!I HONESTLY THINK NO ONE WORKS HERE! NO ONE CHECKS ON PATIENTS EVER!! I THINK THEY SERIOUSLY FORGOT ABOUT ME AND I NEED TO LEAVE HERE!! GOING ON ABOUT 6HRS WITH NO WORD FROM ANYONE!!!

Harry Hanbury

I just got home from a visit for an irregular heartbeat that had me worried. Everything was done to perfection! No wait at 8 PM on a Saturday night. Hooked to ECG in a few minutes, Comprehensive Metabolic Panel, X-ray, all was well. Minor adjustment in medication was recommended. Sent home at about 9:30 but waited a little for a copy of records and x-ray. Top performance! Wouldn't hesitate to go back and would recommend to family and friends.

First doctor wanted to push me right back out the door. Second opinion was better but been here for over 4 hours and still in tons of pain with no relief in sight. Male nurse was cocky and arrogant and lied through his teeth. Very unprofessional hospital!

Mark Decker

The care at this facility is abysmal (I couldn't award zero stars -- I would have if possible). I, luckily, have not needed to be seen by a doctor often, but every time I have gone here I have either received a misdiagnosis or have been treated with a tremendous amount of disrespect. Family Medicine relies heavily on the use of "physician extenders" (physician assistants, nurse practitioners) who have little working knowledge and may often do harm. I received a misdiagnosis from a nurse practitioner -- she said my condition was nothing serious when it in fact was -- which directly led to a worsening of my condition. The specialty clinics schedule as many patients as they absolutely can, meaning that there is very little contact time between patient and medical professional. Combine this with the fact that the doctors with whom I have interacted show no interest in what the patient has to say about their own condition, and you are left with extremely poor care. Patients should be very wary.

I went in with acute abdominal pain and was admitted to the ER immediately. The nurses on staff were very attentive and kind. The doctor assigned to me was Dr. Jubert, and he figured out very quickly what was going on, which was something that my regular practitioner had been unable to do. It turns out I had an ovarian cyst rupture. Dr. Jubert was very knowledgeable about the conditon and thououghly answered all the questions I had.

Staff in both the ER and Med Surge were very thorough with me. Nurses were very kind and were great advocates when it came to communicating with the different doctors I saw while I was there.

Been waiting in the ER for an hour for my son to get seen for strep (it’s a Saturday) Now they tell me we are switching you over to urgent care as they open in 30 mins so you can get seen faster.... I see why there are so many negative reviews. This place sucks. 1.5 hours (might be even longer) to be seen on a Saturday morning.

Gunnar Nilsson

Absolutely horrible service. Tried to make a dermatology appointment and no one seemed to understand what area I needed to be transferred too. I was constantly being transferred from department to department. Very unprofessional staff. I also asked for price for a cosmetic procedure in the dermatology department and every single employee I talked too either gave me a different price or had no idea what I was talking about even though what I asked for was on their website. I will never go back, I have found better medical help elsewhere.

Sandra Napier

I had to stay most of the week at the Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming. I have always thought it takes a special kind of person to work at a hospital. The entire staff from the top down are very special people. They have great teams to assure you are getting the best care possible. As much as I loved the care I received. I hope I don't have to go back.

This place is a joke. Charged me $500 for the emergency room which i was not taken care of professionally or quickly for what was thought to be heart problems I experienced at work and was brought in. Sat in the waiting room forever to be seen and are now charging me almost $1,000 for me being misdiagnosed and not taken care of right away and I have wonderful insurance that they were even confused about my amount being charged. Next time I'll drive an hour away and suffer but have a better experience.

Went to the urgent care last night concerned about a bug bite my daughter had. We saw a guy PA who didn't know a damn thing. It was a bullseye rash and he just said it wasn't a true bullseye at all and there was no way she was at risk for Lymes. He wanted her to take an antibiotic for 7 days incase it turned into a skin infection. He hardly looked at the rash at all and was a jerk when I had said my mom talked to her nurse practioner sister about it and said it looked like a lyme rash. Well today I got a second opinion at a lyme specialist in St. Paul. And guess what!!! It is a lyme rash and she needs antibiotics for 4 weeks!!!! They have no idea about lymes disease here!! You'd think since there are so many people around that live by lots of trees they would know what lyme looks like. He will be getting reported too!!! Go some where else!! Get a 2nd opinion if you're concerned about lymes.

They misdiagnosed me. I had eye pain and an enlarged pupil, I didn’t have any concussion symptoms so I waited a couple days. I came in a couple days later and she started prosecuting me for that and said it was my fault and said it was eye strain. Turns out she was wrong and I had to end up having a serious eye condition(horners syndrome). Thanks Tammy

Carol

Fractured wrist and they said there were no more pillows available to elevate my arm. The cast looked terrible and was put on incorrectly without enough fleece to extend to the hand. I was in agony all weekend until I could get to a hand surgeon on Monday who promptly replaced it. I will never go back there again.

Gregg Schmitt

I cut off my finger early on a Sunday morning when a saw I was using kicked back. Dr Joseph Alfano stitched my finger back on in just a few minutes-I was seen immediately. 2 of the top hand surgeons in the Twin Cities both said Dr Alfno did a great job and saved my finger!

Christy Patton

Visited ER - fast and thorough. Also took son here for asthma, twice. Grateful for their courteous and caring staff.

Rebecca Jensen

From the birth of grand children to the death of grand parents, Fairview Wyoming has given exceptional service in the hospital, clinics and specialty departments.

Worst er been here multiple times with horrible expeirces, cut off a finger and they held me for 4 hours wondering what to do and then my dad said look do i gotta bring him to hcmc so they can deal with it &they said yeah because there surgen comes here once a week.then they prescribed me ibu n asprin when i cant because liver conditions.then a doctor said i cant be restricted to one pharmcey n physician when three other hospitals said i was restricted and they couldn't fill my prescriptions because wyoming had restricted me,there very rude and dont listen at all.also i have a terrible liver and a infection and i asked if the could check my labs(blood) and they refused. When i have a history of infections spreding quickly and closing my throat.they are incompitent and very disrespectful and pretend to know things they know nothing about like my restrictions they put on me

Joshua Colbjornsen

If there was a zero star I'd post that ribs popping in and out after a 12 foot fall c.f. scan and x ray couldn't get a good enough pic to see wats going on So just sent me home after waiting for almost 3 hours with no word pains at an8 but na lets not help him with that oh u can barely breath meh lets not help that out either

Charity Suttner Doty

I had an amazing experience from prenatal to postpartum. But why in the world does the billing department take 15+ minutes (and I'm being generous) to answer the phone?? It's unbelievable.

Duane Helms-Boyd

Larry Oconnell

Slow and I mean very slow!

Mariah Campbell

Delivered my son here in the birthplace, best choice i ever made! The nurses and my doctor (Kelsey Hultman) took great measures to make me more comfortable after my epidural wore off. The postpartum care was amazing they kept up with our vitals and my medication. But the ER is ALWAYS the complete opposite I'm prone to kidney infections and every time i go there ots the same thing, no medication, wrong antibiotics, told to follow up with my pcp. Also my boyfriend had lymes disease and went in and they just sent him home with antibiotics thinking it was just a simple infection without ANY tests. He had to go in a second time because he was unable to move from being in so much pain. This time around they did the tests and got the correct diagnosis.

Hope you're not in a hurry because you will be waiting for hours for anything to happen. Place is a actual joke from money they charge to the staff they have. This place should not be open the way it's ran. Seems like nobody can actually do their job in a timely manner.

Bri Mayhew

Went to the ER there with my little one and they took great care of us. They wanted to make sure they had the correct diagnosis and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. For doctor visits, they have been super friendly so far. I would recommend them

I love the doctors here. It has been my family go to clinic/hospital for years now. Friendly staff. Clean environment. No matter where I move to, I always commute here. They usually have short wait times for the ER and Urgent care unlike most locations in the suburbs or cities. 5 stars. I definitely recommend ER, Urgent care, pediatrics, family medicines, OBGYN and their pharmacy.

My family and I switched to Fairview years ago and have not once regretted that decision. We live about five minutes from a different hospital and choose to make the hour round trip to Fairview Wyoming, sometimes daily! From small colds and minor things to pregnancy and even cancer, Fairview Lakes Medical Center slowly became our “home away from home”. The staff there is nothing short of amazing and the volunteers are just as wonderful. When my son was born he was in need of immediate medical assistance, as the cord was wrapped around his neck, and a care team rushed in the room faster than I could blink to help get, and keep, him breathing. The staff was very knowledgeable and informative and the nurses were very sweet during our extended stay. My dad is doing chemo here and although the circumstances aren’t particularly enjoyable, the staff has made the whole experience a bit easier on the whole family. They have a great sense of humor, but can also be so personable and empathetic at the perfect times. My family and I have spent a great amount of time here and have only great things to say about it!

matt layher

Was in the ER for a kidney stone. Was treated like I was in the hospital trying to get pain medication. They didn't help me at all. Filed a complaint against the ER DR and tried to get the medication I need to help pass this stone. Was told that they gave me proper care for the kidney stone. They gave me 4 pain pills for an 8mm stone. Absolutely absurd. Will never be returning to Fairview. Went to Alina and they took care of me. I needed surgery and had it taken care of within a few days. Fairview actually was expecting me to pass an 8mm stone with no pain meds and no flowmax is a joke. The next time you need medical attention don't come here.

Patrick Porter

Thalia Okeefe

Went there unable to breathe and they sent me home 2 hours later unable to breathe still. Terrible hospital

Momma Lyds

Received wonderful care here in the ER from Dr. Jubert. Very kind staff all around.

cant figure out why they only have diet pops in the machines when they have proven that diet pop is worse for u than regular dont they put aspartame in diet pop which is poison. Not a good move

Review is for Fairview Lakes Clinic Wyoming and Fairview Lakes Pharmacy. Have not been to Urgent Care or the ER...yet. Appointments can be scheduled relatively quickly, and all scheduling staff I have dealt with has been wonderful so far. Doctors in the Pediatric and OB/GYN clinics are thorough and caring. Prescriptions needed have been routed to and filled quickly by the pharmacy downstairs. Only one time have I had to wait more than 10 minutes for a prescription, and at that point I just chose to come back later. The pharmacy is open until 8pm, so it is very convenient at that time since the parking lot is less congested. Will be using the general family medicine clinic soon so will provide additional feedback, but so far everyone I have encountered so far has been very pleasant to deal with.
