The Fisher House is absolutely fantastic! The close (walking) proximity to the Minneapolis VA Hospital makes the stress of a loved one getting care a bit more tolerable. The rooms are absolutely great. Plenty of space for 1-2 people in a room. Cable TV, phone, WIFI, your own bathroom, a desk to work at, dresser, and a closet. The LARGE and fully stocked kitchen is unreal as well is the laundry room. With a community living space, community family room, and community dining room, there is plenty of space for all the guests within the house. The volunteers help make and prepare some food, and there seemed to be plenty available for you to make yourself as well. The director and full time employees at the Fisher House are perhaps the kindest people ever. I am so glad I had this available while my father was getting cared for at the VA Hospital.

This is by and large the best place I have ever stayed. They were so hospitable to tired travelers coming for a test overnight at the VA. They made homemade dinner and we are family style with other guests who were a variety of young, older, and kind people from all over. We enjoyed every minute of it. Clean facility with the perfect accommodation for family of veterans. Would recommend Jessica and the housekeeping staff to any five star hotel. In fact, this was better!
