As far as VA hospitals are concerned, this is one of the best. It is certainly the best one that I have been a patient at. In my experience it is pretty much on par with civilian hospitals as far as quality of care and wait times are concerned. The staff is also quite friendly and helpful.

The people that work here really care, and there is just about everything here that a Veteran needs for their health care. They are also very thorough in their work, especially when it comes to examinations. Of course there are downsides, such as them using examination tables meant for GYN exams instead of regular ones where they shouldn't. But other that this place has good medical equipment (for the most part), and they also have a parking lot shuttle for those who need it.

Best hospital in the system, best hospital anywhere. I'd never go anywhere else again. Compared to other VA hospitals, this is by far way ahead of all the others. Compared to civilian hospitals, I'll goto another VA before any civilian hospital.

SO, SO kind and caring staff here. Exceptional experience from the moment we walked in the door and were greeted at the north entrance, to the time of transfer. WOW!!! Everyone was so nice!!!! Great Nursing care and thorough explanations of testing from the ER Physician and Nursing staff. Thank you, Edie and Jamie!!!! Thank you to security and environmental service staff who helped me when I got lost (which is not hard for me-lol!!). You are tops!!!
