Around our house, Dr. DuFort is DR. WONDERFUL! He has been our only pediatrician since we moved to MN in 1998. Our children are now 22 and 19. Erich, our 19 year old, had (and still has) medical challenges that have required extensive support, care, referrals and follow up and have required significant time dealing with insurance companies. Dr. Wonderful and his great staff have been with us the whole way and gone "above and beyond" what one should expect. Both boys are far better off, and so are we as their parents, having Dr. Wonderful in our lives. The greatest testament though is when we find other families (and we know many) who also use Eagan Valley Pediatrics, and they are just as excited about, confident in and satisfied with Dr. DuFort and staff. We cannot say enough good about him.

Made an appt for my kids vaccines after moving from out of state, called to say that my son was sick and I wasn't comfortable giving him shots because of this they said that it would be ok but I said I'd wait. Now, I tried making the appt and come to find out they won't see my son because of the "missed" appt that I told them I wouldn't make due to him being sick! Well, needless to say I won't bring any of my kids here and I will be sure to let everyone I know this info too! Terrible business practice and overall this tells me how they would treat patients!

Live in St. Paul and drive to Eagan Valley to have Dr. Jim and staff care for my children. (19+ years) You might have a long wait at times, but it's worth the wait. Dr. Jim is the best!

Dr. Dufort is fantastic, he is like family to us. I have never felt rushed when I'm there. He listens and gives great options knowing our family prefers to try natural remedies first. He is a very smart doctor and has been in practice long enough to have seen most everything. Contrary to another review I have read, I have never felt pressured to vaccinate our children. We've always left there feeling like our questions were answered and we have always had a clear action plan for treating a condition with instructions on when to following up if needed. We have also been seen by Jayne on occasion and she is great as well. Having worked with Dr. Dufort for many years they make a great team with similar treating methods. We love Eagan Valley Peds and only have great things to say about them. Thank you all for the wonderful care you have given our children over the years.

Dr. Dufort, the nurse practitioners and nurses all go above and beyond to ensure that every patient is comfortable, happy, and properly cared for. It is evident that everyone on the team cares! Every experience I've had with this clinic has been wonderful.

The Dr and the staff have been amazing. Not only for the care of my children, but for the interests and well being of their mother as well. They continue to go above and beyond for their patients. They order in special shots for my child that they don't have to do for any other patient. I have found them to be kind and generous with their time and attention. I would highly recommend this clinic.

both of our children have been seeing Dr Dufort since they were born because he was highly recommended by a couple of my friends. He is kind, knowledgable and my kids adore him (well, they look forward to the waiting room, anyway). He has provided us with personal service and knows a team of experts to help with any specialties we have needed to explore. We have also used other medical staff when visiting for urgent needs if he wasn't available and found them to be just as great. The support staff have always been friendly and patient with us, and have gone above and beyond on more than one occasion. I drive 20 minutes to this office and would never consider going anywhere else!

We have switched from another clinic previously. WE LOVE DR. DUFORT! He has been great when my children have been sick or any other checkup.My 6 month old son at the time ended up in the hospital for 5 days and he came to see us everyday and checked on us after his discharge. The clinic always gets us in immediately when our children our ill even on Saturday's which is a God send. Also we do see the NP which are always helpful and very kind. We love Kelly! She is so sweet and great with our children. Although, we would love to see Dr. Dufort every time because he is great! My only complaint is some front desk staff is not as friendly when checking in or answering the phone. And sometimes we have extremely long wait times in waiting room and waiting for the Dr. or NP to see us. We usually have a wait time in the room for 30 min to 1 1/2 hours every visit. Hopefully they will get to each patient a bit faster but they do always take the time with our children in the room and never feel rushed during our visits.

Dr. Jim AND CPNPs are wonderful! They take the time to properly diagnose children. They are always up on the latest research. Highly regarded clinic by hosp staff we frequent. Specialists speak highly of the doctoring and empathy that is delivered by the team. They have always gone above and beyond for our family. Even if I don't see the same practitioner for the same illness the staff is so well informed and trained that the continuity of care is exceptional. No worries going here. Bring your complicated cases, special needs and the typical childhood needs here as you will be treated well.

been Coming here for 2 years with my daughter no issues. Once my second child was born they asked “ will you vaccinate your kid “ I said I don’t know “ they said you can’t come here if you won’t “ that’s illegal and called “ paternalism“ . Worst thing even I felt like I was discriminated !!! Now I see all they want is to make money off you. Stay away !!!

Pressured to vaccinate hardcore...and when I told the attending, not even a Doctor but some secondary nurse, that I wanted to wait I got the standard eyeroll and scoff. All 3-4 times have been with this nurse and we've never seen a real Doctor there. Plenty of other Doctors in the area and maybe my experience would've been better with the actual Doctor on staff but I will find someone else. The receptionists are super nice though.
