50/50 some days 5 Stars and some days 1 star depends on days and right automation calls and new I'd che k in system slowly no-one actually to talk to. The information desk a shame job cause if not what you want they send ya over to Urgent care windowcheck the CWT~ ITP helpers sometime help out...But in all is NOT True VA Hospital more a clinical and mental ward due main hospitals are 40+ Miles. Away in Ann Arbor and Detroit. The Hurry Up and Wait is true here....Sometimes the reschedule ya at comments notice.

I have been under a Primary Care Physician's care (Dr.Eric Kennedy) for over a year and with the correct meds and prescribed dosages I have made some miraculous strides. I have also been under Dr's care in the Mental Health facility seeing Dr. Bandlamudi and now Dr. Shaukat. Both being excellent In their treatment. Absolutely joke. Doctors do NOT listen to you. Unless it's a mental problem, do yourself a huge favor and go to Ann Arbor. I did and have not been happier. If they had a zero this place would qualify.

Needed an appointment for an infection in my foot immediately, my primary care Dr got me in, in less than 24hrs, when Ann Arbor put me over a month out! How typical of the VA right!?!?? Usually I don't like coming here, it reminds of the Shining movie..

One star is not even close. The staff is another example of why are you even here for example the urgent care nurse deshan like to talk to you like your his property and control your every move. No the doctor on the other hand was one of the most compassionate and respectful doctors I have had the pleasure to be treated by . If you can go to a outside hospital or clinic and be taking care of with no questions and treated like a person and not like why are you even here. Then my question is why have a veteran's administration or for that matter a va hospital or clinic.

The VAMC is excellent. I have had great help there, and my primary care doctor is super nice, and so are all the nurses and other staff. Everyone is nice, caring, and very helpful. It amazes me that clerks actually remember my name when I walk in. It is better here than at any private practice doctors. Many private practice doctors refuse to accept the VA "Choice Program" in Kalamazoo where I live. Not nice....

I have been trying since November 2015 to get my Vocational Rehabilitation going and the lady Tamara Lemon seems very incompetent. If she would work as hard to work from home because she seems to think she is in constant fear for her life as she did helping veterans I would not be so harsh. Most disrespectful treatment I have ever received at this clinic.

Very unprofessional, inconsiderate and rude. My husband was waiting for 7 hours to be seen by a doctor so he could get a prescription for his blood clot medication! And once I find out some specific names some lazy employees jobs are gonna be in jeopardy.

The upper management of the facility attempts to address issues quickly, but that does not make up for the terrible service and medical treatment provided by their staff. I recently moved to Michigan and I have been waiting for 3 months to see a psychiatrist for a refill of a benzodiazepine- a drug that has been prescribed to me for over 10 years by the VA. On one occasion, this VAMC booked two appointments 30 minutes apart which I thought was great. However, on the day of my appointments I couldn't find the clinic where my appointment was scheduled. Then, I went down to the front desk to ask for help and I was told that the clinics are 50 miles apart from each other. To make matters worse the 5 clerks in the office all started laughing! They then sent me next door to speak with a social worker when I needed a refill for medication. These people are completely useless. OIF and OEF veteran. I fully believe that the VA should be privatized at this point. This is perfect example of what is wrong with government healthcare. There are too many middle managers and low level admins and not enough doctors, physician assistants, and nurses. This possibly one of the worst VAMCs in the country.

I went for an x-ray and check up. I was pleasantly surprised how great the staff was. I always hear or read of jokes and horror stories about how terrible the VA is. This VA seems to care about their people/veterans.

Came in for urgent care (called ahead and talked to a nurse to ask if I should be coming to urgent care in the first place). Came in on a Friday a bit after 1 pm, sat in the lobby for about 5 minutes or less before getting seen.

When you go to the PTSD program they don’t let you keep your keys because of liability. I’m glade that they put everyone in the same realm with PTSD. We are not the same so stop treating us that way.

I've been very happy the services offered here. It's pretty much everything I need for my health care. The people have also been amazing. Very friendly and ready to help. That's not to say everything runs smoothly all the time. Like anywhere, things happen, but I'm always impressed by how mistakes are dealt with.

I've never had a problem with the specialty clinics here, the doctors are great. On the other hand, my boyfriend had to go to the ER a few days ago because the clinic near us never got back to him. The ER doctor prescribed some meds and he waited to fill them here at the VA because we were coming here anyways. Unfortunately, they scrips have to be rewritten by a VA doctor to be filled here; and as of right now we've been waiting three hours while he's still in pain from the issue he went to the ER for. The service is terrible.

My experience at this treatment center was a very positive happening in my life. The staff there were very understanding & helpful if I ever need psych. ward treatment again I will have no trepidations about coming back. Some of the nicest people I've ever met in my life Good will to all.

Let's see, where do I begin, I call to make an appointment and get hung up on bc I'm trying to explain my problems and just keep getting told to go to the ER, the ER does nothing but put a saline drip in my arm and an hour later release me. I am very dissatisfied with the care iv been giving, my primary doctor never put in that I have chest pains. I ask for an EKG and she then tells me again go to the ER. I may not have been blown up or shot at but I served my country very honorably and need to be treated as a vet and not some POS. If I do not get my EKG I will be taking this to a federal level.

All of my doctor's visits have been positive. I've seen a doctor, eye doctor, foot doctor, hearing doctor. Nurses and scheduling personnel are always excellent. My experience with the billing people... Not so good. In truth, it was one woman who was unable to figure out how to run my chipped credit card as a credit card. So no payment was made.
