I have traveled around the country and visited many VA facilitys, and this one is the worst. Horible staff and doctors. And all the funds they have put into the outside of the facility that they have robed the veterans off benefiting from it still looks like a prison.

I've been using the VA in Leeds and Springfield, MA for a year now and I have nothing but good things to say. Now that I am retired I started using the VA for prescriptions. Saved a lot of money! Great service! Great doctors and staff. Never have to wait. Scheduling appointments is quick and easy. Following up on tests and labs is easy to do on the myhealthevet web site. I will admit that I was a bit surprised what with all the negative noise about the VA. But they've been good to me and for me. Thank you VA Northampton and Springfield!!

This facility is a joke, unprofesional quick to put you on multiple types of drugs with zero diagnoses the fat troll at the front desk is a joke and disrespectful. I've been sick for a month and they have yet to tell me what it is Tell me why I have to take loads of pills before they decide "oh hey maybe we should take a chest xray" which I have yet to be called back about. This facility along with 95% of the the entirety of the VA is a joke. I feel sorry for brothers and sisters that have had to deal with the same bs and has no signs of changing. They Spit on our service to the country we are expendable and it sad to see. Shame on the VA and its leadership and staff.

The VA hospital in Northampton is a pathetic and disgusting place for veterans.. From the operator, to the Help Desk, to the staff, they are all uncaring, inconsiderate and rude disgusting people. They will ignore your needs, and then hang up on you. The treatment of veterans by this facility is a tragedy. 22 Veterans a day are committing suicide because of disgusting facilities like this one.

Been laid off by my company twice based strictly seniority for 2 yrs and almost 3 yrs. Northampton VA saw that I was back to work in 2014 for 16 months in between the 2 and 3 so goes and back bills me for the last five years then doesn't even give me a chance to pay out of HSA account but has the IRS take it from first refund I would have had in 5 years. Would give zero stars if I could. Up to this point I was thankful I had the VA when laid off. Very shady the way they never even asked or called to question just took advantage of the link with SSN and IRS. Have to wonder whose pocket it went into. Plus whenever I've had to ask for unscheduled help all you get is leave a message then wait and wait to hear from someone.

My first trip here was to urgent care 20 years ago. Never an issue getting appointments when I need them. The staff has always been responsive using the online system within 24 hours. Prescription refills could not be easier at the VA with the click of a mouse. Of Course it is not perfect but it is still far better than the private system which I was part of for years prior and for my family today.
