Before I went to Shiners my feet weren't straight they were at an angle, so when I went to Shiners they described me a pair of inserts to go in my shoes and when I went back to Shriner's they described me a pair of gel inserts for my feet.This is the BEST HOSPITAL for kids with problems preventing them to walk like everybody else!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Almost 20 years ago shriners fixed my youngest daughter's leg. Children's hospital in little rock said they wanted to take her bones out and replace them with plastic, well shriners done a 4 hour surgery and fixed my baby girl. It's always good to get a second opinion no matter what. I put 100% trust in these people at shriners. I seen the miracles that happened with several patients there not only with my daughter, there was a beautiful little girl 10 years old and never walked a day in her life her intestants was wrapped around this little girls spine, this girl went into surgery before my daughter did and her surgery was 7 hours. When I took my daughter back for check up, that little girl was there and she was walking. Granted its not just the doctors and facility at shriners it also the Lord. The Lord has anointed these people to heal and mend children. And I personally thank God for them.

My 3 year old son broke his arm and his dr was amazing! I recommend Shriners. They even gave him toys when he came out of surgery and I'm sure it felt like Christmas to him

Dr. Milkey pulled my sons finger off without any kind of pain medicine! Wrapped a cast so tight that my son was left with blisters on his fingers that have left scars! He is very carless amd selfless in the things that he did at every single appointment. His finger was infected and it took dr milkey 1 month to see him after i called numerous times.!

My son who was born without his left hand and only 3 toes on his right foot which was turned inward in 1999 was treated as royalty by the kindest most caring staff I had ever met they taught me how to overcome things in life as my son has and today this young man a great intelligent handsome athelatic caring being is my best friend and we owe it to shriners for their love God Bless you my friends at Shreveport LA oh yeah DJ has one final visit which I wouldn't miss for the world

Our daughter had to have surgery to correct her scoliosis. This hospital had the most friendly staff who all went above & beyond their job to help us feel comfortable while there. They offer so much to the patient to help them relax while there.

Grandson supposed to have surgery there. Was cancelled due to the need for post op PICU . Is very understandable to not have surgery where the facility is not safely equipped. However, this has been over a year ago and he has obviously been totally dropped from their radar. Calls are not returned, questions have not been answered . I understand that Shriners will involve other hospitals as needed such as for previous children that have needed ICU care . Am interested in the reason that no further care was offered to him

Shriners is the best hospital for children! From orthopedic to doctors to nurses the whole hospital. They helped my son for 16 yrs! I'm so blessed to have been part of a great hospital! We will miss them all they where all like family.

Wow. I have never been treated with such respect at a hospital and I have been to many different hospitals. While we were here my children did not believe this was a hospital because of all the playground, toys and friendly staff they have here. I highly recommend to avoid LSU for your kids and go next door to Shriners anytime.

I had to have surgery on both of my femur bones. The staff at the hospital are some of the most nice kind hearted people. During the time that i was there at the hospital the nurses were so nice to me and they always came and check on me. When I go there I give stuffed animals to them so other kids to get one, because when I go the toy bin is all most empty. If your kid needs to have surgery then go there because the staff is so helpful.

I love the care they gave my daughter & thank God my daughter legs got better because I prayed daily & my parents & sister were the only people I had by my side besides God because I was feeling so down at the time. Now!! I'm so happy & thank everyone that was there for me and most of all Shriners Hospital because their so sweet they will do everything to keep you & your child happy.
