Had recently got a appendectomy and the doctor that performed the procedure was rude as hell.

!!!WORST HOSPITAL EVER!!! My son was bleeding from his penis tonight, and the doctors REFUSED to even touch it. Refused. (Post op surgery mind you) NOT NORMAL. They sit on their computers and do not bother to help you. They're in it for the money!!

Bad experience! I was an ER patient there last year. I went in with high BP. I was ordered by a staff member to stand next to the side of the bed, strip, then hold my arms out - (Like a prisoner!) Usually they just hand you a gown & offer help if you need it. (I'm a woman in my late 50's.) I angrily did as I was told ,& came close to hitting someone! I was so upset that I fainted when the Dr. reached over me & grabbed my left wrist. There was no record in my chart of Dr. Ragusa's notes mentioning the incident. I guess that means it never happened!

My grandmother was admitted here for over a week some nurses were nice some had very bad attitudes. She had to be transferred to hospice and we were given the run around with little to no consideration of our feelings at such a sensitive time. We couldn’t get straight answers on when or how the process would work only a hand full of nurses tried to help the others were very rude. I would not recommend this hospital for your loved ones.

Totally not impressed. I came to the er and I have a little list of medical conditions and as opposed to looking them up the doctor just tried to dope me up with narcotics but if they would’ve looked anything up narcotics rebound headache just would have made me worse. Will not be returning

I waited 4 hours for them to get a unit of blood to start my blood transfusion and when that was done at 7 I’m her still at 9:25 waiting on another unit of blood when it should have been ready for use!!! Somebody not doing their job in the blood department

Will NEVER recommend anyone to go to this hospital! I went in because my throat was killing me, I couldn't eat, drink anything and I could barley talk! The doctor didn't even check my throat and said I have a Viral syndrome. I told the doctor and the nurse that I wanted to get the throat check out not my stomach. So he check out my throat and said everything was fine and sent me home and I knew I wasn't fine! An hour later I had to go back to the hospital! I went to Our Lady Of the Lake because my throat was closing and couldn't breath! The doctor told me that I was never supposed to leave the hospital! If my sister would have waited 5 more minutes to call 911 my throat would have closed all the way and I wouldn't be able to breathe! Because of St. Elizabeth ER I almost died! Please NEVER go to this hospital they don't care about people they just want to get paid and act like their working!

Too much miscommunication between nursing staff. An ICU RN, Josie, is very condescending toward patient's family and a PA on the second floor. If given the choice, I would NOT choose this hospital. "One bad apple spoils the whole barrel."

The ER is great. They're very nice and attentive. As to the main floor though... My insulin was forgotten TWICE in 2 days and the doctor seemed to have less information than I did about my condition. The only one with any perceived expertise was the wound care specialist, but he spent the whole time recruiting me away from my doctor and into their practice. The nephrologist actually tried to visit with me through the bathroom door because he couldn't wait to take his personal calls on his cell while in clinic. I came out and had to wait 10 minutes while he finished up with a friend on the phone!! Super unprofessional. The room seemed very dated and the bed very uncomfortable. I will do my best to get up to Baton Rouge if I can for any hospital stay. I'd give it 1 star if it weren't for the ER staff.

There I was, in serious pain, waiting in the emergency room. The wait was longer than I would have liked most recently, but previous experiences there were much faster. The staff was professional, courteous, and quick. The nurses were exceptionally attractive and the IV I was given was surprisingly painless. The doctor was no nonsense but thorough. Once I was diagnosed and out of immediate pain, I was released promptly. I don't recommend needing an emergency room, but if I do, I would choose this one again.

My brother admitted himself when he had some pains in his leg. They put him on antibiotics and he stayed the night. Well, when he was sleeping that night, one of the staff staff stole his money out of his wallet. He filed a police report and never heard anything about it since. Even though there was security camera outside of his room. If you stay here, don't leave any valuables with you. I have heard from other people who have stayed there that have had things stolen after the fact.

Did not have a good experience with Saint Elizabeth in Gonzales Louisana. I paid cash for a procedure and they took my money and then filed with my insurance. I had so much stress on me trying to get this straight. Had meeting with 3 ladies over hospital that was a joke! I have nothing to say good about this hospital and Orbera. I was supposed to have weight loss coaching and they sent me to a dibetes nutritionist that knew nothing about Orbera. Will be taking further action with This hospital and the ladies that assured they would follow thru and help me.

Everyone that I've dealt with during my stay has been fantastic. The are very attentive, even at 3 in the morning. Rooms are pretty nice. Bed adjusts at the push of a bottom, their is a small tv in the room and each room has its own bathroom with a shower which was a very nice amenity.

My husband was admitted to the emergency room on July 12, 2016 for a hand injury. The doctors and nurses could not have been any more personal and professional. We were treated so kind and compassionate. The best experience I have ever had in a medical facility. I highly recommend this hospital and all the people that work there.

I had to come to this hospital to have my husband checked out his blood pressure was high. I'm not from here so I needed to smoke and I seen that the hospital was no smoking and walked across the street from hospital to smoke didn't realize that they had no smoking on whole hospital so mind you I had been up since 6am before so I was very tried I walked across the street of the highway from the hospital.I see the security sitting in there car watching me now really did it take all that like I have very good understanding so why did they have to watch me the whole time.They acted like I ran around the whole hospital with my cigarette.

Staff was supposed to schedule a test and call me the same day or the next day. Days later noone has called me back, I inquired several times. Scheduling says they havent received an order. Horrible office management. Would not recommend for anyone to get test done here. Very incompetent communication
