Been there for relatively minor injuries, major injuries, and illnesses for myself and throughout my family and network of friends and coworkers. Always experienced compassionate care. Great place with a great staff. If I'm conscious I'm saying " take me to BHE !"

The doctors and nurses are all 5☆ at Baptist East. My mom has been to several hospitals in Ky and Fl and this one is by the absolute best. We will never go to any other.

No one listening, no wound care, raw butt

Cardiology Dept could use some classes on manners if they can't handle their jobs should look for another one

Nasty place and horrible staff! My daughter was in the ER on the mental health side. Staff were rude and not understanding. They would laugh about other patients in the hallway. The ER Dr was nice but other than that horrific. Had about six people in the room at once trying to make her take her clothes off and put on a hospital gown. She told them she was not comfortable with that and it took the dr telling them to leave it alone before they would leave. The rooms and the bathroom and whole Er was nasty and filthy, disgusting. Arrived at the ER at midnight. At 3:30am the dr came in and said the psychiatrist wouldn’t be in to evaluate until 7am. Here it is 9am and no one in sight and no one has been by in hours to check on my daughter as we wait in her room. Do NOT come here if you are looking for behavioral health!!

What a waste. Went in with sciatica and Dr said I didn't need any treatment for it but advil... What? No tests run for it , only observation. Zero

Nothing Unusual

Outpatient Surgery - impressed and thankful for such friendly and helpful staff, from waiting area to nurses to transporters. Amenities are clean and comfortable including guest waiting areas, full service coffee shop and private outpatient rooms.

They saved my life.

ER is a joke!!! Doesn't matter your symptoms, its always a 3-4 hour wait! I even had DVTS and still had to wait this long. Horrible ER.

Baptist East is and always will be my Go-To Hospital. I've been going here for years and have never had any issues or problems. The Doctors (Especially you Dr. Oldham from the Bariatric Dept), Nurses and Staff are knowledgeable, personal, helpful, friendly and caring in my experiences. I'd never go anywhere else. I trust them with my health and well being! As far as the ER goes, there is usually always a pretty bad waiting time no matter what major hospital you go too. According to an RN I spoke with last time I was in there ER, there are usually always more Patients in need than Beds and Nurses in the ER wing. Which this RN stated she hates this and ultimately has no control of this. Also, they will, in most cases when the ER is busy, take in individuals with severe or life threatening problems 1st, which I can understand. But overall, I like Baptist East and will continue to be my first choice of hospital.

This is by far the best hospital I’ve ever been to. From the staff, on up to the doctors I couldn’t believe the great hospitality I received today. I couldn’t be more thankful to have this experience and to have an awesome doctor as an obgyn. I had to leave a review!!!! Thanks you guys it greatly appreciated ❤️❤️

Doctors are less than interested in getting to the root of your problem, especially once on a floor. GOD HELP YA THEN. Be sure you have an advocate - friend, family, with you. Since here, I've caught drs in lie after lie . Nurses,Doctors ARE NOT ON THE SAME PAGE AT ALL..I'm here writing this so i know for sure, hek, nurses will even tell you that, nurses don't relate to other nurses, drs don't even put in computer what they tell ITS ALWAYS,, SOMETHING DIFFERENT. IF your scared, sick, worried about your health, don't bring it here..Go to Jewish, UL, St. Mary's. Not here. #lostfaith #keeprecorditall .

I had a Stroke May 2016. The emergency room and the doctors, nurses etc saved my life. I am very blessed that the Ambulance took me there. After the stroke I had another doctor tell me your lucky you're still on this Earth.

Dr. Lundquist saw me the first time and mocked me by telling me 3 times he was not a dentist. I knew this obviously as did my family, but due to memory day no where else was open and my infection was severe. He misdagnosed me and perscribed inadequate antibiotics. I had difficulty swallowing and he did not take it seriously. Additionally, The facility is very dirty and the nurses do not follow proper hand washing protocols. Numerous times I had to ask them to clean my iv before reattaching it. At one point we watch our nurse use her gloved hands to push down medical waste and tissues into a garbage can, and then, without changing gloves proceed to use the computer and check my vitals. There are no good emergency departments in the city tho so good luck. Best bet is to drive to Cincinnati if you are able.

Ive recieved EXCEPTIONAL care for my mother during her stroke and many seizures. Special thank you to the E.R. team on 7/24/19. Dr. Purvis and Susan went above and beyond today. Many thanks and many blessings to you all.

There are some excellent providers at this facility but unfortunately my overall experience at this hospital has been so bad multiple times that I would definitely pay more to go out of network and to a different hospital. The communication between the different care levels and even to the billing department is just awful. I have been billed several times for things I was told I would not be billed for. Definitely would not recommend this hospital and will not be back.

I did not have trouble with this hospital but there was a family in the emergency department that were being very mistreated. A man was having trouble with his knee and thought it was dislocated. And his wife was trying to get a nurse to help them with something and she refused. When the wife asked for her superior she called security. After talking to the head nurse the family left. I feel as though the staff was in the wrong and did not handle the situation well at all.

Madisyn Wambold

The check in staff for Dr. Hay have been incredibly rude and curt all three times I’ve visited the office. They seem to be more interested in being as unhelpful as they possibly can rather than diligently doing their jobs. Dr. Hay is an amazing physician, I hate that I have to transfer to someone else simply because the employees at check in are so blatantly disrespectful.

Rachel Hodge

Worst hospital stay of my life. From ER to floor. Will never be back.

Kelly Morrison

Sherri and Ruby are two nurses that work on the 4th floor of Park Tower and are awful! If you have a family member there, DO NOT let them in your room. We talked with the doctor and they made sure they were not allowed back in our room. They are rude and give the wrong medication!

Diana Smith

Surgery went well, nurses in the surgery great,on the other hand, waiting rooms an bathrooms nasty,ICU is not accommodating for family,I feel I've been left out of my husband's care, had 5 bypass yesterday and haven't got to see him since last night at 8:00,felt like I dropped a dog off at the pound sorta speak, nurses give hardly any info when calling to see how he is over the phone ,make u feel like your bothering them ,will not come back,NEVER

Barbara K

Beware being seen in the emergency room and you have to get any form of Radiology related tests, the hospital might be participating with your insurance company but they are not and they will bill you for the full amount even if your insurance says you only owe a certain amount. The same goes for the Anesthesiologist. This is a disgrace because both of these departments are needed in an emergency basis or if surgery is indicated. This is what is wrong with the healthcare system today when physicians fore go what the patient needs and only think of their bank account.

Bobbie is a GREAT RN. Very nice visit.

Chris Stafforn

One particular surgeon operating there is Dr. Patricia Figert. BEFORE using her surgery services, first do an on line search for OPEN PAYMENTS. It is a government database where all outside payments to doctors and surgeons MUST be recorded. That way patients can see for themselves if their surgeon has received any inducements that may compromise that surgeons judgement (83 payments made to Dr. Patricia Figert since 2013). So ask Dr. Figert (or any surgeon) about those payments and about state medical board actions including any letters of concern. These questions make doctors uncomfortable, but the patient has the right to know!

Extremely rude, slow, lazy staff. The staff was rude about my pregnancy. Not one person congratulated me. Also, there was an addict doing heroin the bathroom. The ER staff did nothing about it. They took hours just to discharge me, so I walked out. I ended up having to come back because they called me and said they would have to call the cops on me if I didn't. Highly unprofessional. I would never come back, even if there was no other hospital around.

Angela Brown

Worst ER my first experience will never come here ever again 1.nurse did not come when i needed her for the bathroom 2.doctor was very rude! 3.front desk they were lazy

Cindy Hutter

Best hospital and nurses and doctors in Kentucky

Matt Davis

Went to the ER for a very painful kidney stone. The wait was only about 45 minutes, which wasn’t too bad, but when you’re in pain it can feel like forever. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating during my 24 hour stay. The ER rooms as well as the hospital rooms were clean. The single bed rooms were nice and large. No complaints from someone who doesn’t like hospitals and has had bad experiences at other hospitals.
