This place is great! I was paralyed on one side from the waist down. It was from spinal cord surgery. They said they'd have me out in 21 days. I walked out 8 days later with a walker. They work you hard and if you want to get better this is the place to go.

I do not recommend this facility for inpatient care. The therapist here are awesome. The nursing staff and care are beyond awful. As you can see from many bad reviews please take your loved ones elsewhere. There is other options available.

Not a pleasant 10 day stay. Was placed in the stroke unit because ortho was full, so none of the nurses knew what to do with me (how to clean my wounds, etc). Doctor was super rude, despite the fact that I was 16 and alone transferred here on Christmas Eve. One of the nurses mentioned that she didn't want to be there on Christmas. Psychologist tried to misdiagnose me with a mental illness. The shower in my room was broken. Only enjoyable things were 2 of the nurses were very nice and caring and my physical and occupational therapists were so helpful and kind. There was also a therapy dog that hung out around the gym, which helped me with missing my own dog.

I'm not one to write a review however I feel that this is too important to ignore. My dad stayed at RHI for almost two weeks after a surgery. The reviews online and on Facebook were both great. His time at RHI was NOT good. In fact, I wouldn't recommend this rahab to anyone. The nurses do not do their job nor do they care about their patients. They gossip and act like it's a burden anytime dad needed anything. I was with my dad daily. I witnessed the poor care he got. They refused to transport him to a follow up surgical appointment which ultimately lead to my dad back in the hospital FOR ANOTHER SURGERY. The reason they gave my dad as to why is that RHI "couldn't afford to take him." I was under the understanding that rehabs are required to treat and transport their patients. The "doctors" at RHI are a joke. They didn't change his wound dressing for over 48 HOURS after he had been admitted and that was only after I said something. The orders were for 2 times a day. Also, the wound dressing was supposed to be a DRY dressing and they made it WET for almost 2 weeks which made bacteria grow. Again, their neglect is the reason he went back to the hospital after rehab. One more thing, dad complained about having a headache for several days. RHI's response..."you'll be ok, you are on pain medicine." Dad was discharged with the shingles, which we found out at his doctor's appointment after he came home. The "therapy" part of the rehab was not appropriate for the type of injury and the age of my dad. The therapists OVERWORKED him like he is a 20 year old. 3 to 4 hours of walking and climbing stairs for my dad was overkill. The therapists should LISTEN TO THEIR PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES WISHES. When my dad did not need 3/4 of the PT that was forced on him. I would give RHI zero stars if I could.

RHI facility is amazing! Mom had a stroke and the PT, OT and ST and nursing staff were all fantastic. Hopefully we never have to visit again but if it should happen I will feel confident my Mom is getting the best care possible. Thank you!!

I’ve been an in-patient there three different times, since June of 2015. First, because of a stroke, then because of a severely herniated disk. All of my stay were amazing and I won’t go anywhere else for therapy, doing my outpatient therapy there as well. Drs Carbone and Paul are fantastic and PA Rachel is as sweet as can be. Although the nursing staff in unit three was often short staffed, they were extremely caring. I can’t say enough good about the therapists. I loved how they really pushed me after my stroke but were so gentle with the herniated disk. They were ALWAYS kind. The food for patients is really good and the cafeteria food has always been excellent. I have had excellent experiences with RHI and I am always recommending it to others who need therapy. A top notch facility all the way around.

The therapists here are AMAZING! They have so many a day that are back to back it’s amazing. You get the impression that they generally want you to improve and get better which is very well appreciated. The doctor assigned to you is always around and stops by daily so you’re very knowledgeable of your situation and progress. When you’re an outpatient it’s hard to be positive if you’d been in a near tragic accident causing to be at this facility but they are still amazing in this case. Questions, bill pay, etc the calls are answered or they respond quickly so you don’t feel detached at all. And the therapists at NRC that they assigned me too are equally amazinh as the inpatient facility!

My grandfather is staying here for over a month. The physical/occupational therapy team is absolutely amazing. The nursing staffon the other hand were pretty much terrible. He is left in his wheelchair for hours waiting to he put to bed. They kept telling him, "we will be there in a minute" and they never were. They were also pretty rough with getting him into bed. I even witnessed them be rough! I was appalled by the nursing staff but amazed with the therapy team

This place is horrible. The hospital coordinator was over heard by my daughter stating she was glad my mother was moving to another location because she did not like her. This place also packed my mother's belongings with the exception of her brand new clothes that was bought the same day she was admitted to this facility. Multiple phone calls to Greg Biggs and CEO Monty with no returned calls. The majority of the staff were rude and uncaring.

Within 30 hours of arrival a pair of shorts was stolen. A very important medical issue was missed and no one seemed to care to address it with a doctor. When a doctor came to address it with me, her response was, she didn't do calculations. That's bull! In medical school, you are taught the importance of calculations. However, when I had her look further into the calculations, she immediately apologized, but I shouldn't have had to go 2-3 days of raising great concern to get this site medical concern addressed. While I do see the therapy part of this rehabilitation hospital is great, I'm not impressed with the hospital aspect and worry for my son's care. Furthermore, with a brain injury, I shouldn't have to tell the staff to keep their voices down out in the hall when they decide to have a gossip session next to my son's door. I've seen so much unprofessionalism in the one week we have been here that I'm greatly concerned overall.
