Everything done in a timely respectfully matter. From start to finish. Front desk staff so polite. Even for my appt, xray, eating all handle in a professional way. I been coming a long time and have encounter 1 nurse and one medical assistance that could use help in improving. For the most part I would and do suggest ortho indy to everyone. The billing depth not very good at handling my husband situation and now his account is turned over to med shield. I felt like they really did not care. My ins co. States they paid the bill ortho indy stated they did not could they have at least waited until the matter was slowed instead of turning my husband to collection they knew I was working on this issues. Billing score 1 terrible service
I like this hospital my wife had a total knee replacement surgery and everything went good and the food is great..
I love orthoIndy northwest. I had foot surgery there last month and everyone was very professional and helpful. My surgery went smoothly and very little discomfort afterwards. I highly recommend this hospital and staff
I broke my clavicle and femur and had my surgery done at st. vincent hospital and all the follow ups with Dr. Renn Crichlow at this location. I had a the worst accident in my life, and the best care from these people to follow. Highly recommend them. They made everything very easy for me and always made everything clear every step of the way.
Last encounter with Ortho Indy was with Dr Lintner for surgery. Everyone was very nice and understanding. Anthesiologist, nerve block Dr, assistants. Recovery room nurse was very nice.would recommend this hospital to other.
I had outpatient knee arthroscopy surgery here recently. Every employee and doc was completely wonderful, very positive, upbeat, patient focused. They were great at explaining things and making sure I understood. I felt like those I interacted with truly love their work and I could clearly see teamwork in action. I was in and out of the facility in just a few hours, very efficient. I had no infection and discharge instructions were very clear. When I received my bill it was the exact amount my insurance company said was my responsibility. I was able to pay most of it from my HSA and they were very willing to set up payment arrangements for the rest. Overall fantastic experience!
Fantastic doctors and staff, top marks!!! Beats those people at Methodist hospital by a lifetime!!!
Dr. Sigua is great! He was able to squeeze me in for a last minute epidural before I went on vacation. They would be 5 stars except for their apathetic approach to writing pain killer prescription refills. I have been calling them for two days because I ran out and have been in very bad pain. Their response has been "we will get to it when we get to it, and it can take up to 7 days." This is unacceptable to keep someone in pain for so long. Pain relief should be their first priority and it doesn't seem to matter to them at all.
My daughter had bilateral double knee replacement surgery at this hospital. This has been the best medical experience I've ever observed including every aspect starting with the first exam, preparation for the surgery and post-op care. Dr. Fisher is tops; surgery was fast & went flawlessly. Hospital food is even good! Very impressed that both patient and family attending caregiver involved were sent thorough instruction regarding what to expect before and after surgery, including how to have the best chance for a successful recuperation. I can't say enough about everyone we encountered from doctors and all staff were at the top of their game!
The visit was good enough, 10 minutes tops to tell us that yes indeed my daughters clavicle was broken. (We had provided the X-ray). They charged us close to $ 500 to "treat", didn't even provide a sling, AND $200 for an office visit. Rediculous!
Excellent Hospital and staff.
EVERYONE is awesome here. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Everyone was so nice, helpful, caring, etc. Made sure I had what I needed, kept me well informed and consistently asked if there was anymore they could do for me. Definitely the most sincere and best care I’ve experienced in a Hospital.
Dr Kevin Sigua has been in a hard choice of care for Charles Sankey II, and brought him from wheelchair to short walking skills. Dr Sigua VERY EXPLANATION, meets prepared and a very cordial. Tells us clearly what tests, procedure choices & LISTENS to patient. ALL of our response, ARE ORTHO INDY NW staff. Phenomenal. BIGGEST ISSUE..WE TOOK AMBetter as our insurance do change in insurance for 2019. At last minute announced the AmBetter ALLOWED TO DO BUSINESS @ Ortho Indy. ORTHO INDY NEEDS...CHANGE INSURANCE OPTIONS WHICH INCLUDE INSURANCE OPTIONS ACCEPTED. PRIOR TO PATIENT Market Place insurance new PATIENT CHOICE, IT DOES EFFECT OUR CHOICE OF MEDICAL INSURANCE NEED!! AMBETTER INSURANCE....SUCKS!!
I had the best staff, they were great! Love ya girls: Tiffany, Angela, Nicki and Jean. You were awesome!
Awful place there screwing over people with there health if the better business can get involved with this place it can do it some justice mark osborne is the worses doctor i have encountered in my life the staff are horrible today experience was inhumane it's sad that people are specialized in these field and lie and ect. To patience and not really thoroughly care about the patient after Mr Osborne verbally told me the results to my MRI and recommended that I should strongly get a second opinion almost like he gets paid to minimize my injury and also told me there was a strong possibility that work comp will fire me almost like all of them do from what I'm told just for him to say in most cases the results comes back different from the doctors the insurance provider recommend though work compensation for patiences on top of that one of the nurses at the registration desk in Booth 2 to snatched the phone out of my hand after telling her I was not sure what button to press to speak with a supervisor for workers compensation on a 3rd floor for me to sit there for 10 minutes and then she finally apologized I spoke with her supervisor and then went to Booth 3 to speak with another lady who handles scheduling appointments for her to be unsure on how to schedule testing for me after explaining to her dr. Osborne rushed away from me for her to go back there and said she was going to see if they can pull me back in a room so I can talk with him just for me to be giving another business card I walked away because I still was unsure because she was unsure and spoken with someone at the front desk who gave me more information about how to go about my follow-up appointment just for that same lady to call Security on me and was laughing as he was talking to me almost like it was a joke just for him to tell me that they have asked me to leave the building which she even said no one has asked me to leave the building I wasn't rude I'll just was a concern patient because I'm worried about my health like anybody else in my shoes would be I left without having any of my questions answered I called and spoke with someone who said they were going to give me a call back as well if dr. Osborne ordered something he should have been the one to tell me on how to go about it therefore he is unprofessional in his judgment people's treatment is inhumane people please seek legal counsel there's lawyer out there that work with you a little to nothing they will screw with your wellbeing which can effect your life.my back is important to me.
Only go here if you want to get an infection and die
I'm pleased with the doctors and most staff, however the nurses and techs could be a bit more understanding and kind. Over all I'm pleased with my care after a fusion (day 1)
Dr. Kevin Sigua''s manners not the best. Cranked on my neck to try to diagnosis my issue, but still ultimately needed an MRI. Why put me in pain when there's no useful info obtained. Office manners are horrible. Run around switching to different departments. Charges are very high compared to other local places. Ultimately, did not have MRI at OrthoIndy, since they would charge double what NorthWest Radiology would charge. OrthoIndy also charged me additional $20 to get my own results of my MRI. Never will go back.
I was injured on 8/27/16. Two herniated discs in my neck and a pinched C8 nerve root. Significant pain, lack of sleep, etc...Took two weeks to schedule an MRI, another week to get an appt to review the MRI, scheduled a steriod injection for this Monday, then cancelled to run an EMG test instead. EMG came back fine and then re-scheduled steriod injection for 10/4/16. 5 weeks! In pain the entire time, very limited sleep. Not at all impressed with their scheduling department, availability of staff, etc...Clearly not focused on patient relief.
The nurses, doctors, surgeons and receptionists are all amazing. The staff they have working in the deli are absolute thieves. The employees literally tried to steal money from me, once i could find them that is. I paid for my to the only person working, only to be chased down by another employee accusing me of stealing the food. They are the laziest most worthless group of people I've ever encountered. Fire them all and just get vending machines. At least then, paying customers in distress while waiting for family members to get out of surgery won't be chastised by scum of the earth type people.
The hospital was clean, surgery and recovery care good, but post surgery care was horrible. Though I had hamstring reattachment, nurses, techs and therapist all thought I had knee surgery. Therapist was going to bend my leg 90 degrees, when it was not to be moved past 30 degrees. Morning meds were overlooked and I was kept in bed with my head elevated. Orders said my legs should be above my heart for 48 hours. No one told me I had to order breakfast, which I couldn't do because the binder with menu, tv instructions, etc., was out of reach on other side of room and phone was on the wall behind my bed, which was also unreachable. Staff did not communicate with one another and didn't seem to read my chart. I would NOT recommend this facility. ,
This is my son's computer, so I am using it today for my review of the main hospital and Dr. Poulter!!! Firstly, my family and I have been through several major operations (they supported me in) and this is the first time we have ever had a Chaplain come into our room and pray with us before the surgery!!! I knew at that point all would be well. The PA, Nursing Staff, and Dr. Poulter were all completely engaged with my family and I pre-surgery. We knew exactly what to expect, what surgery was going to consist of, and that we would be taken care of. Again, we knew it would be well. Wheeled into the surgery suite, a great, open, caring conversation took place. The surgery staff all introduced themselves, held my hand and off to sleep I went. Caring surge suite! All went well. Recovery staff was attentive and had me with my family within an hour or so. Dr. Pouter explained my procedure to my family and answered their questions. All was well! I am greatly pleased with Ortho Indy! My micro discetcomy (sp) was a success and I am pain free with a wonderful experience to accompany it. I am impressed with the precision and care of Ortho Indy and recommend Dr. Poulter for spine surgery!!! Tina M. O'Dell 2 March 2018
The best care I have ever received. I had total reverse left shoulder replacement surgery o July 13th. I can not say who provided the best care to me, as as everyone there was super fantastic. The food was great, the hospital very clean. Every staff member was very knowledgeable about their job and could not do enough to make your stay, your best hospital experience ever. Thanks to each ànd everyone for making à major surgery as pleasant as possible. Sincerely, Frank Topel
Excellent care - before, during, and after surgery.
I have spent many days here and they are the best around. I was well cared for. All my needs was well taken care off.
The receptionists are so rude! As a healthcare professional I find the poor manner in which receptionists handle patients extremely horrible. I have been dealing with cancelling of appointments... when we tried to pick a date that works for us they started to give us attitude. Really made the experience of dealing with a broken bone horrible. Definitely do not recommend this group.
Best hospital they were great would recommend Dr kollias to any one
The staff is professional, kind, courteous, I would recommend this hospital and Dr. Gabriel Jackson. You couldn't ask for a better Doctor and hospital. The nurses are willing to go the extra mile for you and get you whatever you need without making you wait. In your room you get free movies as well. I give this hospital a A+. 86th street.
