I was originally scheduled to go in for an injection at 9:30. They called and ask me to come in at 7:20 to get ahead of the weather. It did absolutely no good to come in early as I am still sitting in the waiting room. I had to rearrange my entire schedule and arrange for care of children to come in and sit

My father-in-law had surgery here and this is quite possibly the worst hospital I’ve ever experienced. He was told he would be scheduled for 8am, he didn’t get scheduled until 1pm. He told the doctors to give him a sedative prior to anesthesia because of his claustrophobia. They refused until he physically restrained the doctor. The worst part about the entire experience is his post op experience. He’s been scheduled for this day for 3 months. They still decided to overbook surgeries and he was screwed out of an actual room. He had to stay in observation the entire night instead of an actual room. This place is garbage and jeopardizes the care of patients for money. You would think a physician owned facility would care more about their patients...

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL PLACE FILLED WITH COMPETENT AND COMPASSIONATE PEOPLE..MY DR., DONALD ADAMS, IS THE BEST..HE NOT ONLY CARES ABOUT THE PAIN YOU ARE EXPERIENCING BUT MY OVERALL WELL BEING..HE IS SO WARM AND CARING AND A GOOD FAMILY MAN...THE NURSES ARE GREAT AND SO FRIENDLY AND SO IS THE FRONT DESK PEOPLE...THANK YOU TO ALL WHO HAVE BEEN AT MY SIDE FROM THE BEGINNING OF THIS LONG JOURNEY I HAVE BEEN ON....

For an overnight stay, the rooms are top notch. Unless you are sent to an observation room. The care we received was not up to par in any way. On the day of surgery, the nurse was in twice to see us during the shift. The day shift tech Elisa was arrogant, had an attitude, and acted put out to do much of anything. The nursing staff (techs included) spent the majority of their time in the hallway on their cell phones. Very unprofessional in so many aspects. Any subsequent orthopedic surgeries for us will not take place there. It felt like a place to work when you don't want to work but just want a paycheck. For surgery this is not acceptable. No respiratory therapy to talk about breathing exercises, scant communication at all by any staff. And yes, we are both educated healthcare professionals. We know that while on the job we better bring our A game. Not a C or C- game.

Went here to take my son.. they were renovating and took forever after we were in a room.. staff was nice.

Staff for the most part has no business in health care, my husband was criminally abused as a patient during his stay. Unlawfully drugged him and would have gotten away with covering their tracks if not for my persistent pursuit of their crimes. These people need to be closely watched. They are currently under investigation in the mental health department. It's hard enough to admit we struggle w his health issues, praying for their staff members who chose to do those things to him.

I was assaulted on Monday. Traumatized and in a lot of pain I went here to get checked out for a concussion and whiplash on Wed. The nurses and doctor were SO comforting and incredible. They shared every resource possible to help get me through things. There was one nurse in particular, that really went the extra mile. I'm not sure of her name, but I was laying in my bed in the hallway waiting for a CT Scan. I was feeling alone and in a LOT of pain. All the other nurses, doctors, and technicians walked by me without notice, but this nurse stopped and handed me some tissues and assured me everything would be alright. It meant a LOT to me.

I had back surgery here by Dr. Alvis. He is am amazing surgeon I have had no problems out of the usual and am already seeing improvement in my pain level. Most of the nurses I had were very friendly and caring. My favorite was Tracie. She came to check on me very often and gave me the motivation I needed to get up and walk the day after surgery. The only problem I had was one Tracie wasn't there. My bandage on the incision was only checked and changed by her and a male overnight nurse checked it once. He was also very friendly but I cannot remember his name. The food was amazing and I really mean amazing. Overall I had a good experience here I just wish there were more nurses like Tracie.

GREAT PLACE ME AND MY MOM LEFT JUST THERE THE STAFF IS AMAZING, CARING.THEY WORK VERY FAST

Nevertheless Alwaysthemore

The extreme pain continued and every time I say that I am in Extreme pain every nurse and my MD constantly kept changing my words they say well I understand that you're having some discomfort. I tried reinforcing my words but it didn't help at all. That shows a lack of listening a lack of care and a lack of professionalism.

Debra Tisdale

Nurses and doctors took good care of my aunt.

James Eltzroth

I had to spend a week in the hospital from February 17th 2018 to February 23rd 2018 . I had never had to be in one overnight for myself. I had a lot of anxiety and was in tremendous amount of pain and several medical issues causing myself stay. The staff there made me feel comfortable and calm and made sure I was well informed. My favorite RN while I was there was Vicki. She knows what she is doing and is a very real and friendly person. Even when I wanted over clarification on things lol. My favorite tech was April. She was attentive and thorough and made me feel comfortable. I wish I could remember all the names of the RN and tech staff that helped me. They really made a difficult situation feel so much better. The bedside manner was fantastic with just about every person I came into contact with while there. It was extremely busy and I never felt neglected and my needs were always met. I would definitely recommend this hospital to anyone. My whole family in the area uses this hospital and we have always had good experiences. You can bet I will always use it if I ever need a hospital again.

I could not have asked for a better team that what I got for my twins who had to have surgery here 3 months apart. I will forever be grateful for the great care they received, the kindness they showed to toddlers who were scared out of their minds after waking up, and just the all around respect they showed to not only my husband, my mom (who came with me when my first son had to have his surgery), and me, but to my toddler boys. I am so thankful that we no longer have to go back to this place, but I am also thankful for everything they did for our boys. I would never choose another hospital over Community. This place goes beyond what is expected of them and it makes a nervous mother just a little more at ease.

I have always liked the Community Network. Last night I took my daughter to Community North. As we sat there for about 15 minutes my throat started to itch. Next my throat started to hurt. We were there for about 6 to 7 hours. Today I can barely move, breathe, and can't stop coughing, sneezing and the works. My thing is yes it's an hospital, but I could feel the thick are as soon as I walked in. There was a woman that was coughing without covering her mouth at the desk, and the receptionist after the lady moved cleaned her area. We have to come home to babies and other family members risking everyone getting sick. Because it is a hospital it should be carefully disinfected. Maybe more housekeeping in the emergency area seeing that people come in and out with whatever you can name. Now because this has happened doesn't mean that I will no longer go to Community because they have helped me in my worst times. Just asking for more cleaning in the most infected parts the emergency room. Thank you for your time.

If you have an emergency or if you need medical assistance, I'd recommend going literally anywhere else. This place won't help you and you'll still be stuck with a bill in the thousands of dollars. Last week, I went to the ER in the most pain of my life. The receptionist was completely rude, then the doctors and nurses acted like I was just looking for pain pills. Unfortunately, there's some truth there because I had a 3 millimeter kidney stone blocking my bladder and was in so much pain I couldn't see straight (which I didn't know at the time, I just thought I was dying). Then the doctor said nothing was wrong with me and dismissed me after doing nothing at all to help me. They said someone would call me in the next three days, but no one did. I scheduled a specialist on my own, and they saw the kidney stone immediately. I get that a kidney stone is easier to find by a specialist, but this isn't exactly an uncommon problem and mine was literally in one of the most common places, and the specialist was literally looking at the scan taken at the hospital so she didn't have any information different from the ER. My suspicion is that both the radiologist and the doctor who saw my results didn't even look at them at all, because when I saw the scan the kidney stone was obviously visible. The alternative is that they're just incompetent. 0/10, facility will fail to catch even common problems, do nothing to help you, and then bill you ridiculous amounts of money for all the nothing they've provided for you.

My husband's doctor is an owner in this hospital and sent him there for an MRI. The doctor takes our insurance; however, the hospital does not and did not notify us when we had the MRI. So we paid for the MRI and now instead of it going against our deductible it is going against our out of network deductible. I know we should have checked to make sure they were in network but other facilities/doctors have told us that they didn't take our insurance before they took our money. It's very disappointing because he has to have surgery now and our deductible that we thought was met is not. I am glad we found out they didn't take our insurance before we scheduled surgery there because they probably wouldn't have told us. We will be having surgery next door at McBride who does take our insurance.

Who designed this building? If my doctor wants an ultrasound, I have to take the elevator downstairs, exit the building on the west, walk around the exterior of the building (not a small building, maybe 1/10th of a mile walk) to the north entrance for the ultrasound. If it's such a good idea to have these services all together in one building, why not provide patients with interior access?

My mom was in and out of this hospital 6 times in 7 months and we could not have asked for better care. The staff of this hospital is amazing. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make Mom and myself feel safe and secure about her care. Doctors took time to explain everything they were going to do before it was done. The nurses...angels in disguise. They went way beyond their job description in getting help for Mom. I will forever be grateful to this hospital and their staff

Like similar reviews, the nursing staff were great. However, upon arriaval to the hospital where my relative was transported from a nursing home, I discovered two pieces of jewlery were missing. The items were on my relative when they left the nursing home but not when he was transferred to a room. Care Ambulance or someone at Community Hospital had to remove the items from his person. There were a few personal items in a property bag but these expensive pieces were missing. Hard to believe there is not a better accountablilty process in place to protect a patients personal items during transporation to and admission to the hospital.

Saw a security guard yelling at patient forcing her off property. Very unprofessional! Very uncaring!

Learn more we control this. Profit people look at you like you don't belong. Mainly the fake cops. The nurse staff seemed good though:)

This review is of the ICU waiting room on the second floor. If I could leave zero stars I would. The floors are filthy and the carpet is covered in stains. They sweep them with a broom and dustpan. I haven’t seen a vacuum in 2 weeks. The furniture is literally fall apart, torn fabric, covered in scratches. The on recliner is torn and stained. It is shameful. The waiting rooms (that you pass on the way to the ICU) on the second floor outside of the surgery center are beautiful, have new, comfortable furniture and are well maintained. It is ridiculous the difference between the two areas. A hospital waiting room should never be this disgusting. Especially when you are visiting immunocompromised patients. Community North, this needs addressed ASAP. I was here3 years ago with my grandfather and it was just as bad then.

Tammie Sheree

Just left the radiology department. The technicians and medical staff here, went well beyond their professional duties today. My technicians were very friendly and made sure that me and my children were comfortable during the process. Overall this is an awesome facility the staff are extremely friendly, compassionate and professional and that is what I look for in a hospital THANK YOU!

I had a total knee replacement last January, and I could not be happier. My recovery was less time than expected. My daughter made a comment over the summer that I had my life back. I thought about what she said, and it was true. Dr. Jacobs had given me my life back. I was much more active than I had been in years. My other TKR is scheduled for October 2019, it sounds strange to say that I am excited about the surgery, but I am because I know what the results will be. I highly recommend Dr. Jacobs to anyone considering knee replacement.

The hospital staff is very nice.

Nurses in the maternity ward were a godsend when our son was born there recently. I couldn't do what they do for a living, but am eternally grateful for their help.

Emergency department is usually quick friendly and caring. Facilities are clean without feeling too clinical. Tons of specialists practices are in this complex. Community's outreach programs are really great.

I was seeing Dr Rebecca Kelly for 3 years I never missed an appt. . I lost my insurance last month. I missed my appt. I just got my insurance back on. I called to reschedule my appt. they told me I wasn't going to be able to come back there. Why? I can't be the first person in history to miss an appointment. It's sad and scary they can just choose not to see me, especially given the medication I was being prescribed. You can't just stop taking this medication. Right now I needed help from my Dr. And she told me no. I thought they was was here to help me with my recovery. Thanks Dr. Kelly.

I went to the ER on Saturday with a kidney stone. The ER seemed somewhat busy but, the staff got me into a room right away. Letitia, my nurse, took her time trying to find the right spot to put in an IV port. Dr. Ross also saw me quickly. They set up tests and medications quickly. All staff members that I interacted with were friendly and professional. Everyone seemed attentive to my needs. I travel from Noblesville to Community North due to my continual experience of great care I receive there.

I was in the Emergency Room for two and a half hours this evening because my daughter had a medical crisis. I was very, very impressed. The entire staff were efficient and very kind to everyone who walked through the door Not one person waited more than five minutes to be seen and they were busy! Great Job to the Christmas Staff and thank you.

I adore every experience within the community health network! Our most recent visit my 10yr old son had to have an appendectomy. Every step of the way from initial Dr. appointment, to the imaging center, and finally the hospital was nothing but positive! Every single person was so kind and patient (and informative)! The nurses, doctors, staff..just incredibly pleasant through the whole process. This was our first time in the children’s health area and the rooms are spacious and very clean. The nurses and doctors have been so awesome to myself and my son. I don’t think I could dream up a better experience honestly! Our surgeon was incredible too. He took the time to answer my sons questions and really put him at ease about the operation. He even gave us some pictures of his appendix! (My son is so inquisitive and thought it was the coolest thing ever) Thank you for everything Community Health!!

Maegilthalion Estel

My wife had a procedure and overnight stay here, so this review speaks to OR and general patient care. The facility itself is kept very clean and it's a comfortable environment. OR services is ran extremely well, my wife received excellent care, and they have a system in place so I could see her status anytime I wanted from the waiting room. The employee at the desk was just amazing. I wish I would remember his name for proper credit, but he remembered my name and addressed me by name every time he walked by. Whatever your name sir, I hope you get that boot off your foot soon and best wishes! I spent 10 years surveying healthcare entities and I honestly can't think of anything to be critical of. Highest possible rating overall.

James Mote

I have been to so many hospitals and surgery centers, I can say by far this is the absolute best hospital and staff I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! The only bad thing is I can only give 5 stars, because every aspect people and all are 10 stars! Thank you to all who helped me during my surgery.

Gary Gibboney

I was in the heart hospital for six days after open heart surgery. I was overwhelmed by the quality of care I received around the clock. Every single doctor, nurse, technician, house cleaning staff, and various support people provided outstanding care. They were punctual, professional, friendly, and informative.

Dan Valleskey

Getting damn sick and tired of "survey" questions every time I have contact with any Comm. entity. Maybe I'll just start going to St. F.

Worst hospital EVER!!!!! NOT FOR CHILDREN @ALL !!! WORST HOSPITAL EVER THEM AND COMMUNITY EAST ARE THE SAME!!!!!! WORST HOSPITAL EVER!!!!

I was on the 3rd floor for a week and when I say those ladies are AMAZING at what they do! From the nurses and techs Madison, Kassidy, Jenna, Baiyge, and a few others I only got the pleasure of seeing once but they all made such a HUGE impact on my stay. They were very attentive and compassionate to me and my family. Also the housekeeper Mrs Marie, man I just luv that lady! She made my day each day coming to sanitize my room and to just talk to me as well as the ladies in the cafeteria Ms Danni really made my day each day with her smile and politeness even just bringing me my food the compassion was enough to make you wanna stay or at least order a big gift basket for them all.. they all jus make u feel very safe and like a human instead of just a job! I wish I could nominate them all for an award, this is definitely my new hospital from now on. They made a usually stressful long and hard situation so much better for me.. I just love em!!❤️❤️ Thanks again CN for getting me back one my feet!!

Best hospital and doctors! Friendly, helpful staff!

We recently gave birth at Community and every single person who assisted was amazing. The nurse (Meg) who assisted in the delivery of our son was amazing, so were our other nurses. Meg went out of her way to make my wife feel comfortable, she even braided her hair when my wife couldn't. The doctors, midwives, RN's, and techs are truly a blessing. We will definitely use Community for our future deliveries!

I have being treated since march 2016 . Can't complain the care is over the top great place to be if you or your love ones need medical services. One thing I'll suggest always is to do your own research and talk to your doctor about it. Remember medical treatment changes everyday too fast . I'm a cancer patient of doctor Bathia, great guy and his PN Jennifer but overall everyone is super nice . Thank you so much for all these years of support.

There new billing system is horrible. I went to the E.R. and a woman shows up trying to shake me down for a $60 past due bill. Every doctor's office in the ecommunity system is no better. It is no wonder that they have such an increase in uniformed officers. I have to take my toddler down to riley three times a week. His care is first and foremost!!! I would have paid the bill if not for their gestapo type tactics. Their care is worse than wishard although they are more punctual. Just last winter my two year old was hospitalized for three different diagnoses. They varied from an ear infection to pneumonia to viral. What qualified doctor would misdiagnose an ear infection or pneumonia? Good luck continuing with your current business model...

Such a great experience, Manny was absolutely terrific. The machine is short and chubby with a padded bottom, they provide head phones, pillows, blankets, and keep you updated through the entire procedure. The have extended hours that makes it very convenient, comfortable lobby and attentive staff.

sherry bennett

Had my surgery done there this morning by Dr Brandon Johnson. He was amazing, And so we're all of the nurses. I will be going back for my next surgery.

Unfazed Love

I love this hospital. I am currently pregnant with my third child and so far both of my other children has been born here. My third wil be delivered here come feb12 or feb 19th 2019. Dr. Henderzah is awesome as well if looking for a good ob doctor. Fyi. Anyways, they have FREE vallet parking available. Leave your keys in grab your ticket and show your ticket once done with appt to get car back. Unlike eskenazi that make you pay just to leave the garage which you may not have the money at the time. Cafeteria is a little pricey but has great variety and a nice arrangement of seating areas available. If you have a baby here the food delivered to your room is delivered in a timely manner, nurses are friendly and the rooms are very nice. The staff is super friendly and courteous and there is someone always willing to help you if needed. Also in a peaceful and calm location right off of shadeland. I recommend this as one of best community hospitals to go to!!! Takes a variety of medicaid, hmo and ppo plans. With large selection of in-network providers to choose from.

Paul C

My wife and I had a baby here! Doctor was amazing! nurses were outstanding. 5 stars. Great hospital

Micheal Munson

Tbis place will do anything then actually listen. Here for pain because of a swolllen testicle but they give me another anti biotic and a anti inflammatory but still nothing to help with the damn near unbearable pain ive been in for a week. Maybe it would help to talk to a male doctor who also has genitals and not a female doctor everytime who does not understand the severe pain in the genitals.

Pete Jefferson

Great staff. While there every day for a week sitting with a relative, we ate at the Bamboo Cafe on the 1st floor and the food was very good and reasonably priced.

Danielle Dingus

My best friend was taken by ambulance to their inpatient mental health facility. She is extremely depressed and thinks daily of committing suicide. She had a complete mental break down in front of them hitting and bruising herself and they felt that she was just fine to go home. She has medicaid insurance to cover cost, so that excuse is not usable. I wonder god help that she dosent, but if she did commit suicide, tell me would them and their incompetence be held accountable.

Tiffany

Love this hospital

I had a great experience while at Community north.

I never had felt reduced to the feeling of being subhuman until now, where I was given blatantly temerarious treatment and quite frankly feel violated.

H. L.P

I find it horrible that I go to write a review for this place and find a review already there with exactly the SAME issue. What is wrong with this place? Mental health is health. Patients have rights. There is ONE secretary that is ALWAYS there. SHE makes YOUR medical decisions for YOU. ****ed up? Yes. Illegal? Maybe. Save yourself the trouble and just go elsewhere.

Awesome hospital and even better nursing staff, especially in the ICU.

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Not only is the hospital itself one of the best hospitals I've ever been to, but the staff is nothing short of extraordinary. I had surgery here and was in wonderful hands of countless women who all were enjoying working with one another and being sure that I was comfortable. I also had issues with my insurance and Community North helped me with all the financials and even reimbursed me quickly when they could. Even their customer service reps are wonderful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Best hospital, best service, best healthcare workers. Period.

Samantha Eastman

Great experience and all the staff was awesome!!

Scott Hughes

Lifesavers...great staff....all professionals. Thank God for Community North

Mikyla Montgomery

They are rude and disorganized. And all they care about is money not patient's

Lydia B

Do not ever go to Community North or Community South hospital. If you do, you may end up with a surgery that is absolutely unecessary, a doctor that answers his cell twice while examining you, and a huge bill for hurting you. I should sue Community North for damaging my body. I will refrain from profanity on this review but I shouldn't. Dr Sarah Kerlin, I hope you never get to deliver a baby or hurt another woman again. Guess what, Community North lets doctors with crossed/lazy eyes perform surgery. Please run far from this hospital. They will draw your blood, tell you your numbers are off and then send you on your way. That hospital needs to be shut down immediately. It is filthy and bug infested.

Alysia Muir

My boyfriend has been here for 3 months. Dr. Barnes and Dr. Carver are the worst drs I have ever lived to experience in my life! If I could do it over and take him to a different hospital to begin with I would! I would never recommend this hospital to anyone ever!!!

Phil Kirkeiner

It took them so long to attend to me that my numbing had stopped working when they applied stitches. Never again.

Christopher Houser

So my girlfriend goes in Community North and gets valet parking. Comes out about 10 hours later and she hands them a ticket and they cannot find her key. But don't worry folks they're gonna get a "report". Its now going on 2 weeks without our car that is conveniently parked RIGHT next to one of their cameras. So after about 2 weeks of "reports" and no car I asked to see if I can look in their little mystery Box where the red shirts like to hide. Apparently something is very secret in there because nobody's allowed to go behind to see the man behind the curtain. So here we sit... 2 weeks later... waiting for the report to walk and grab the set of keys that valet and security cannot seem to find. (Side note) One of the lollipop kids that wants to be a real police officer 1 day Does not like adult words. But he does like to use the words like "reports" and "get off our property or I'll get a deputy". And then when we drive to the car he follows us like a leopard stalking his prey. Except for this leopard has a whistle. A very loud whistle.

melissa P

Victor Wilson changed my mind about men in that network.. he treated me with respect, in fact he was the 1st one to give me that.. thanks Vick!!!

Maggie Eckler

Wow everyone here is so friendly!

Dillon Kruse

VERY TERRIBLE!! I HOPE THIS GETS SEEN BY SOMEONE IMPORTANT!!!!!!!! I came in there to simply get help with my alcohol withdrawal at the time, and as soon as I said “alcohol help” the security guards forced me into a room, and I asked them if I could have a cigarette and they said “yea we have one right here” and it was a needle full of “Geodon” (which I found out later) they literally told me it was “liquid nicotine” I know it sounds funny but they wouldn’t let me use the phone and strapped me down , just so everyone knows, Geodon is a horse trainqualizer that was used on me very very very innapropriatly DONT GO TO COMMUNITY NORTH ER

Worst place spent 6hours for nothing

GuerinGrad09

Horrible staff. Nurses told me to shut the F up because she was angry with me.

Treated me and my wife (Who had pulled a muscle in her back) like family. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Patricia Griffin

Been going here since built because they have the best doctors, nurses, all employees. They are so very kind, everyone. It's simply the best hospital in the city.

Becky

Horrible service!!! My spouse had a scheduled appt 2 weeks prior for an MRI . Checked in 15 minutes early for a 5:00 pm scan..had to wait for over an hour to get in. No explanation, nothing. Not acceptable!

mari Harrison

I love this hospital personally i believe is the best always had great experience but this last time i was in very disappointed i i have a kidney infection and got prepscribe urinary track infection so upset

Had my knee replacement done there and was very happy with the car and the results.

I have lived in Indianapolis most of my adult life. Quite a few family members have required treatment here. Always been top notch. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

If you're going to pop out a kid, or three, do it here. Best delivery hospital in town. Excellent staff that actually listens to the patients and their plans and extremely flexible. No more kids for us, but this is the place. Watch out for their billing, they can't give you an accurate bill to save their lives.

Sasha Williams

Always the best nothing less. I've have all my children here with no problems. I love the staff here. It's jus an amazing hospital

Chey Cook

A total lack of communications. The ER is the worst. They have one doc that behaves as though he has a drug addiction issue. They need to pee test that guy.

We came to Community North to get emergency care for my girlfriend. The care she received at Community was excellent in every way and should be the standard by which other emergency room care is judged. The nurses, the aides, the Physician's Assistant, and the staff were all professional, helpful and friendly. The exam, tests, etc., we're all done efficiently and in a timely manner while she was kept comfortable. All the staff and professionals involved kept her informed at each step of her care and then explained the diagnosis and treatment options clearly. Thank you Community North!

Been in and out of hospitals most of my life and decided to go out of my way to give Community North a chance after recently seeing some terrible reviews for the one I usually go to.. Definitely worth the distance and giving them a chance. The staff of nurses and doctors here are the most caring I have experienced in a long time. They didn't treat me differently due to my condition being less life-threatening like I have experienced in other hospitals. I've had some horror stories about waiting to be admitted for hours at other hospitals. They got me checked in very quickly, I'd say within 5-10 minutes. I will definitely choose community north in the future for any emergency medical needs, even though it is out of my way.

Hospital staff was excellent! Security was terrible. My wife had surgery and we parked in the parking garage. Our new car sat there for a day and a half. When we came out I picked her up and drove home. Once home we realized someone had hit our vehicle and have contacted security many times with absolutely Zero help from them. For a parking garage to be under security monitoring I was extremely disappointed. Once again after many messages and voice mails I didn't get a single call back. I am assuming that they feel it just ins't their problem.

I loved the staff, receptionists, and especially the nurses! They really helped me when I had MRSA from foot surgery. Thank you for everything! God bless!

I love this Hospital. The OB floor has gotten worse since I had my first child compared to my second child but all in all this is a really good Hospital.

I had a great experience at this facility with an colonoscopy and an EGD. Everyone was very nice, courteous, and helpful.

They are an extremely wonderful group of employees. Everyone one of them that I personally dealt with during my visits were beyond helpful and friendly. They are very knowledgeable and explain everything with patience concerning your condition. This was the first time in my life that I needed serious medical treatment and I’m very thankful for being referred to this facility. I’m not sure if Dr. Northcutt and his staff are a part of this hospital so I’m including them as well. They too are just as fabulous and amazing as the hospital staff. Again, I’m super thankful for ALL OF THEM!

If I could give negative feedback BELIEVE me I would. My sister was scheduled for Bariatric Sleeve surgery on the 1.14.19 she had the surgery next day she came home in a lot of pain on 1.16.19 she called her doc and she told her come in to be checked. When she went in they did a scan of her lungs and informed her that she was in pain because the lower side of one of her lungs collapsed...sent home still in pain.( after Bariatric surgery I felt like her stomach should have been checked,,,but it wasn't at this visit)Fighting threw the pain till 1.28.19 and went back to ER because it just keeps getting worse she got admitted because they finally checked her stomic after 2 weeks after calling and complaining in pain so on.... turns out she had a sleeve leak!!!! 1.29.19 she had Emergency surgery to repair leak....at this point she is even more pain than before.....infectious diesiese doctor ran test on her and told her she had a sepsis infection and blood infection they were going to treat with antibiotics. Her doctor came in and said it wasn't all that bad and the infection was contained to a small area in her stomic.. put a drain tube in and feeding tube so she wouldn't irritate her stomach and it can heel. The stay was horrific called crying all the time hurting constantly the nurses were poking her fishing for new iv lines....she was in the hospital from 1.28.19 to 2.8.19 Friday. She stayed at my house on the couch still only getting up to pee because she is in so much pain and has a feeding tube and drain port in.. by Sunday 2.10.19 I suggested that she go back to the hospital. I took her to a different hospital er. They informed us that they could run test however if something were wrong she would just be transferred to north were the surgery was done... so we left there and went to north this is were the real horror of this hospital starts...Er visit she was admitted at 645 Sunday night.... she had a upper gi and determined there was STILL a leak...the infection got worse her whole drain tube was full and leaking out at the wound....The doctor didn't see her till 830ish the NEXT morning...in the mean time she couldn't sleep because of the pain it hurt to breath her mouth was dry ...she called me crying saying the nurses wouldn't give her ice to swoosh and spit even the doctor said when she put the drain tube in that she could have ice chips if she spit out no pain meds because the doctor hasn't been in and her blood pressure kept dropping so she just sat ther till 630 am when she called me in agony begging me to try and do something because the nurses wouldn't help ( nurse said I'm not calling the doctor for ice chips.....you cant have pain meds because of blood pressure....walk out and shut the door) then the nurses started ignoring her call button for 45 mins...I was so angry when she called because of the treatment she was getting..I called the on call her on call doctor at 645 am luckily it was her doctor...she said she would call the nurses and inform them that my sister can have ice chips so long as she spits and had them give her pain meds..... so the nurse goes back in the rm with Ice chips within 5 min of me calling... finally.... however the nurse still didn't want to give her pain meds even though the doc called her and approved it....sister calls about a hr later saying she still hasn't had meds of course I call the doc AGIAN and she calls the nurses agian says you cant just leave her there in pain give her meds AGIAN finally the nurse comes in and gives her meds.... when the doctor comes in to inform my sister that her second surgery and the drain tube didn't work that she would need another SURGERY and put a stint in place or she could sit there and hopefully it dont take too long to heal on its own and more antibiotics.....doc said the stint could be very uncomfortable and painful as well she had a day to think about it the doctor would schedule the surgery and if she decided she didn't want it she could cancel it.....That whole night the nurses ignored the call button from the rm refused meds

My father was in for a procedure today. He was nervous to be expected. From the administrative people to the nurse and doctors he was made to feel comfortable. Our nurse was so friendly and so very helpful (Melissa, surgery room 9) just want to say thank you so much for the kindness and commitment you showed to your patient my 80 yr old father. You were wonderful.

I just moved from NYC and set up my OB appointments 2 months ahead of time before leaving NYC with Dr. Kim Harris. I had an appt scheduled for today at 1:30pm and showed up- my appointment had been canceled because I missed the intake call. I completely forgot about the intake call. I asked what number they called and it was a number I had 10-15 years ago. They never updated my phone number in the system although I gave them my updated number when I scheduled my appointments. I even called on Monday to get in earlier and the lay who answered didn’t tell me my appt was canceled. So now they can’t get me in today to see the doctor, I am 36 weeks pregnant with a short cervix, and have NO OB! What a terrible first impression! Who just cancels an expecting mother’s appointment who is in her third trimester? If this is their policy, I really hope they re-visit this because it isn’t right. And I hope the girl doing the intakes gets reprimanded for not updating my phone number is the system or reaching out to me via email or my doctor in NYC to see what was going on. I’m so frustrated.

My first experience was great..I wnet to the 5th floor. My second experience made me feel like a second class citizen who came to the wrong place. The nurses on the 4th floor (maternity) did not speak and the other one looked down when the intake clerk brought me in. The nurse that worked with me had a very judgemental demeanor and attempted to have a conversation with me as if I was ignorant. I'm pregnant and she didn't even warn me when she started reclining the bed. She failed to communicate her actions and she appeared to be going through the motions of servicing me so she could leave the room as soon as possible. She ignored my "thank you" responses and basically hinted at the fact that I should have gone to Community East instead of here. Despite me telling her this was my fifth pregnancy, she tried to give me pregnancy education and downplay my reason for visiting. Why be nurse in such a diverse city and exhibit such poor character traits? The good news is that she was the only staff member there with such poor demeanor.

Slowest emergency room ever! In and out doctor. He could care less. Did not even list injuries on my paper work!

People seem great. If you have time to wait and wait and wait this is your choice of places to go.

Several weeks ago I had mammogram done and Ms. Conya is a angel! She is so nice.. I had my surgery on January 23rd and I must say my Nurse Lea and Dr. Wilson took very good care of me.. This is the best hospital in Oklahoma City they take care of you they make sure that everything is met and they do not drop the ball at all. Thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

I called the operator of the main hospital to ask to be connected to a department at North, was connected to somewhere at East. When I called back I got the same operator and when I explained the error, she was very rude to me saying I should have specified what I wanted. I did! A little polite customer service goes a long way! Sheesh!

By 10 yr old son was impatient there the medical staff are very friendly only problem i had was the room was not really clean there was body hair on the toilet seat and shower jordan and Sara on the peds unit was awesome

One star for the check-in staff. Once I left that area. It went downhill from there. I was lead to believe by the family doctor at Medcheck Community North that because of my level of pain I would need labs to see if a new medication was contributing to my pain. Even though, three times during the visit the same doctor said; I was experiencing pain for no reason at all. Plus, they didn't have meds stronger then that which I was already taking. After being met by Dr. McGoff, I began to express my discomfort from this previous experience. He claimed he wanted to know what it was and as I began to explain he cut me off the same way the other doctor did. He continued to do as as he would ask questions and I would start to answer then cut off. I was told the same story as the previous doctor. Moreover, I was told that they did not have stronger anti inflammatory meds to give me. Nor, any non-natcotic pain meds (as it was clear they belived I was there for NARCOTIC). i walked away in the same pain I walked in with. This is an EMWRGENCY HOSPITAL!!! Was it my insurance, my education background or the color of my skin that I was treated this way? No TRUST!!!

donny sweigart

It is terrible place. I went in for surgery and almost got started and they rufuse to do surgery. My O2 sat was in the mid. 70's. So they won't do surgery but they let me walk out the door facing a possible stroke!

Robert Medlock

I have been a veterinarian for 10 years, while I am not a physician, I know a fair bit about medicine and owning my own practice I know a lot about customer service. There are not enough words to describe how wonderful our experience has been. The staff are competent and friendly, tjey make you feel welcome and well taken care of. Dr. Carnovale is one of tje most wonderful people I've had the pleasure to know. We have seen other doctors on our path which pale by comparison. We do not yet know how this journey will end, but we could not ever have asked to be taken care of this well. What an awesome team! Thank you from tje bottom of our hearts!

My mother was at Community Hospital North. I don't know what we would have done without them. They saved my mom's life with God's love and guidance of course. Everyone there is very good and compassionate. There are 6 of us siblings. And all of us are very satisfied with the wonderful care that they gave my Mother.. I give the rating of 5 stars, I would give more if I could. Thank you Community Hospital North.

Had my first child here about 2 months ago. Best staff and service employees I've ever seen. Amazing nurses that thoroughly answered all questions and then some. There were lactation consultants to help us several times a day. The rooms are pristine, clean and quiet. It felt like staying at a hotel with bedside service, seriously. Love this place, any other additions to my family will absolutely be at this hospital.

This the second time I am having very bad experiences with emergency visit!!! They do not give good care they are very lousy to do their job!!!!

Caleb Lyon

They need a new person answering the phone . The lady I talked to was very very rude and extremely unhelpful. She kept interrupting me and hung up on me in the middle of me asking a question .

Gabriel Ginther

they are full of it no help what so ever and trying to charge my insurance which is mhs indiana for nothing i am going to make sure it is known there is no way that they helped me worth % dollars let alone 5000 dollarsto my insurance bullshit

April Coumbe

Horrible place to go and should be shut down. The staff treat patients very disrespectfully. I gave them 0 stars, but apparently am required to at least give them 1. Their complete lack of consideration for their patients, which I feel should be a priority, disgusts me.

Judith Young

The Dr told me he was going to do some tests and then just guessed what was wrong with me and sent me home without doing any tests whatsoever. He actually made my pain worse, and did absolutely nothing for me. The nurse was very nice though.

Correll Parson

This hospital literally messed my wife up medically taking out an ovary that could of been saved. Dr. Rachel Leland should not be practicing in any type of medical field, especially Dealing with women's health. She only thought about how much money it would cost instead of my wife's life. Tried to send a patient home from a major surgery at 3 a.m.. Unbelievable this happens in America. When I tried ro contact an administrator, this hospital refused and then turned around and lied about it. How do I get in contact with an hospital (CHN) administer that could handle this situation? My wife's in a lot of pain and this doctor goes on about her day as if nothing has happened.

Kylee Daniele

Recent experience in the ICU: If you would like to have visitation with your loved ones, do not come to Community Hospital. Nurses will change visitation protocol unannounced and ensure your loved ones lay alone all day and night. Community Hospital advertises themselves as "Patients first", having dedication and integrity. In my family's experience, these are all lacking. Very disappointed in how we were treated by staff.

Dealt with this hospital twice now. Once for the behavioral wing and once for NICU. I would not recommend either. Extremely rude and overbearing. Behavioral unit was a complete waist of time and money. NICU has zero communication skills with parents, treats parents like they are children themselves, and you will never get the same answer twice. Thier is not enough room on this page to lodge all the complaints we have had.

I have had a horrible experience with their billing system. It is fully automated with ZERO customer service... and they do not care. I would be extremely embarrassed to be a manager of this department. They will not explain the important details up front and you will learn about everything after the fact. It hurts to be so powerless against this big company. The Dr's and Nurses are great and I love them. I wish they had better leaders to support their hard work on the back end.

Jennifer Moser

I had surgery at Community Hospital in September 2017, and subsequent appointments, with Dr. Ashley Cogar. I've had nothing but great experiences with all the doctors/nurses/techs/staff/other patients, etc. It's a beautiful facility filled with competent and compassionate people.

POTENTIAL MURDERERS. Didn’t sign my mother’s prescription for insulin. Over 48 hours after notifying the hospital, her Nurse Practitioner, and the doctor in charge of her discharge, her insulin prescription STILL HAS NOT BEEN CALLED INTO HER PHARMACY. They don’t care if she goes into a coma after she left their immediate care.

Britt Loves

Worst experience I’m pregnant went here today because my OB at the same hospital didn’t have any available appointments . And I was treated as if I was a crackhead or I was lying about my blood pressure ! Waited for 3 hours to be seen and the nurse was so rude and literally walked out the room because he had an attitude at that point I decided to leave . I will never come here again and changing my OB because who cannot get a patient in who is complaining of headaches and cramps and unable to eat with a blood pressure this high !!! Horrible pic was taken before I left the Er!! Blood pressure is 233/130 !!!

Shelli Toombs

The best care available and the staff went above and beyond taking care of Me! They explained in detail all of my needs and I will always be greatful... They even helped my fiancee calm dowm,he was so worried...

Please, do not go to the ER here. I like Community as a hospital, even if it is way overpriced, but when my 1 year old son wasn't able to keep food down and was becoming very dehydrated we had to take him here as it was a Sunday and nothing else seemed to be open close by. The nurses were kind, but inattentive and the doctor effectively did nothing. We did not feel supported or reassured at all. While they did end up giving him a very small dose of nausea medicine that helped. It wasn't worth the horrible experience and the $2500 dollar bill. This may or may not be applicable to all ERs, but I wouldn't suggest this one.
