Great service care and doctors.

Watch out! If you go into immediate care there, you will charged over a thousand dollars, for speaking to the doctor for about 2 minutes and checking a kid for ear infection!. This is a scam facility. I had thought the bill for over a year, and got nowhere. I had to pay it after all, as they kept sanding me from department to department with zero response and explanation of the charge.

Lurie's is a top hospital but more often than not I've encountered doctors and nurses whom are dismissive of my concerns towards my child's health. More so treating me as if I am clueless. If I bring my children to Lurie's its because I was a Lurie's patient myself and loved it. Things have unfortunately changed and I wish doctor and nurses put more effort into listening to my cocnerns before cutting me off and saying something we already know.

Brought my daughter for routine bloodwork and the bloodwork tech named Haven was unable to find a vein so she sent us away and told us to go to the hospital to get bloodwork. Ridiculous waste of time. Never coming back. Haven has no clue what she was doing and said “there is no One else here who can help you”. Just unacceptable. And yes I had to pay $6 parking also.

Not happy with the 7th floor rehab department. They want you to pay $6 to park every time you bring in your child for therapy. Other hospitals don’t charge such parking fee if you come regularly for therapy service. The bathroom is not suitable, no step stool and not kid family friendly .
