I hope I never have to go there again. When I was in ER the nurse forgot to give me a call button and I had to shout several times to get someone so I could urinate, while I could hear the nurses gossiping about someone who died. Then she left my curtain wide open while I was half dressed and a new employee orientation group walked by staring at me, that was uncomfortable. Then she forgot to bring back the portable urinal. Then they lost my paper work and walked around scratching their heads looking for it. It's been a month and I still haven't received my lab results. When you call you'll get transferred to a number that asks you to enter a pin number???

I recently had my daughter at Pullman Regional. I had the most exceptional birthing experience. The nurses were compassionate and went above and beyond to care for me and my daughter.

Joesof Martin

Worst facilities by far. They just amazingly keep worse. I have had bad experiences and so has many of my family members. If you need emergency services please do yourself a favor and go to Moscow.

Dan

I have been to the ER multiple times. One doctor is amazing. Another doctor has anger issues and provides little medical aid, which are major issues in an ER. I filed a report and will now go to Gritman hospital in Moscow, ID.

The receptionist flat out asked me what my condition was in front of all the people and the nurse got panicked and had a dumbfounded look on her face like she heard her dog died when I told her about my very normal condition (ED).

We had both of our babies at PRH in 2017 and 2018 and received excellent care. The doctors, nurses and the entire staff were professional, kind and caring. If I lived out of the area I would travel to have my baby at PRH.

Savanna Hendrickson

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about every single interaction at this hospital. The staff was able to take an unpleasant situation and make it as positive as they possibly could.

My husband Darrell was treated very well at this hospital. Everyone was very kind and caring. I believe this is why he came home as soon as he did. I highly recommend this hospital and so does Darrell Bruce.

I wish to share the most loving care that was given to Shane, my son, and our entire family. We were a team. They fed us, cared for us and cried with us. We spent a week with Shane in room 116 where he eventually died with dignity and love. We will be forever grateful for the wonderful, best in the world nurses, Social Worker, Drs.and staff. Thank you so for giving Shane your love and care.

Need to give the nurses aptitude tests annually... It's that simple... Some need to retire ... Others need to find another field to get into... If you're lucky you will find one with common sense... That's all... Nothing more...

On the positive side, I have always been treated with courtesy and respect by the staff. The doctors are some of the best in their field. I even enjoy eating at the Red Sage. The one downfall is the Billing Department. Today, I received a bill for a charge from two months ago, but it was not itemized. It did not seem to reflect any of the payments I had made this year. The individual I talked to explained every visit I have had generates a separate billing. They do not consolidate their billings. I have repeatedly asked for consolidation of all my billings. Moreover, the billing that I got today did not explain the reason for the charge. I have not experienced this through any other medical facility I have used. Hey, Mr Administrator, you billing is atrocious, and brings down the overall rating I can give. This should be a topic for your Hospital Commissioners.

These folks took care of my dad when he got cut in the shop. Everything was sewed up nicely and healed without infection.

I’ve visited the emergency room a few times during my freshmen year at WSU and the staff was rude. On one visit, the doctor was not attentive to my concerns, and I was faced with a microaggression by the nurse. On another visit I was placed in a room for hours as I watched the staff walk back and forth with no regard of me sitting there, so I decided to just walk out. Now, whenever I feel ill I drink water and hope that I don’t die because I refuse to go back.

Went to the ER and over heard the staff joking and laughing at my sickness the ER is the worst in the area I get treated way better at Gritman in Moscow do yourself a favor and drive to another state to get treated like a human being.

Run fast run far !!! The only reason I gave it one star is because I have to in order to write this review.ICU night shift nurses are rude and arrogant not only to the patients but also their coworkers .sub standard care at best

I ran my hand grinder into my finger was no longer able to move it. I could see the sliver sticking out of my finger; I tried to pull it out myself but it was incredible painful and very deep, so I opted to go to the ER. The front desk man was very polite, calming, and conversational, but I cannot say the same for the doctor that "helped" me. Without even looking at my finger he crushed it around trying to "feel" the sliver and was very inconsiderate of my pain (I've hurt myself before, and am not a wuss, cracked femur, avulsion fracture of my C3 etc) He took an X-ray to try and see it, which he couldn't because it was fiberglass, and then preceded to inject it with novocain, and mined around trying to find it. He was unable to, so he told me to get some polypropylene and I left with $1000 charge. I went home and with Wallgreen's tweezers, a sewing needle and some lingering novocain, pulled a half inch stick out of the joint of my finger. Needless to say, I wasn't very impressed with the the service received.

Well came here with problems breathing and hard pain in my chest so what did they do well Put me in a room alone and I've been here almost an hour now and nothing has happened. So obviously there style of "care" is put them in a room for a couple hours and if they are still alive when we decide to get to them then maybe we'll help them. This is the 3rd time this has happened to me and people wonder why I don't bother with the hospital.

I spent 2 nights at PRH after total knee replacement surgery and was thrilled with the care I received. Support staff was very helpful in preparing me for the return home and I felt extremely comfortable and well cared for. Not 5 stars only because there were a couple of times when I called for pain meds and had to wait up to an hour, by which time I was unable to stay ahead of it. The 2nd morning I was awakened at 6am by nurses chatting about coffee outside my open door. Lost what felt like desperately needed rest.

Coco Ferris

Only giving it one star because I have to. Disgusted with the service and the fact that the nurse told me i was faking it as i was convulsing on the waiting room floor. Another nurse had to GOOGLE MY DIAGNOSIS as she didn’t know what it was. Beyond shocked and sad i wasted my time here

Maren Martin

Needless to say, this place is the epitome of worst health care facilities. If you are ill or experiencing anything I RECOMMEND going to Moscow's hospital. Pullman Regional will leave you feeling stupid and unwanted. They will tell you are faking, and then misdiagnose you. When I asked the nurse a simple explanation of what she diagnosed me with, she said I don't know. WHAT nurse walks into the room to tell you she doesn't know what the doctor diagnosed you with. Seriously, do not GO HERE. There are much better places to seek respectful, knowledgeable care.

Sidney Counts

Very helpful staff. Nurse Julie was great and the doctor did everything very professionally while still making the visit not like a typical intimidating hospital experience. I often have trouble with doctors belittling the reason for a visit, but the nurses and doctors were clearly there to help my friend and make it as comfortable as possible.

Samir Al Raisi

Fantastic and extremely kind staff. Very caring and have Amazing work ethic. You'll be in safe hands.

Eva Devaney

They see you and don't help you. Last night home a good reason not to go back I had allergic reaction to Bug bites and they did nothing! I was sent home. I have had some of my family and friends go in for thing's to and they didn't help sent them out without helping me

Maria Johnston

They treated me like a druggy gave me ibuprofen when i had been on norco for 5 months. Judgemental from the beginning. Would not recommend. Nurses are nice doctors not held me there for 3 hours just to send me home the same way i came in. So much for being a "healthcare professional " and taking care of your patiens. Plan on calling the supervisor. ..even my insurance doesnt deserve to be billed for this nonsense.

I would only go here if you absolutely have to, and avoid on campus WSU treatment that requires their help. Essentially, the "park" tickets, where they will "attempt" to get in contact 3 times, this includes talks about insurance, but not actually about paying anything. So really you get maybe one heads up. Not sure if there are multiple branches in the hospital that does not communicate, because after changing my address with 2 separate individuals my address was still totally wrong. If the copy and paste replies to all negative feedback isn't a telling sign that they just don't care I don't know what is. TL;DR the hospital as terrible communications with patients and will park tickets. AVOID

Amazing!! I left Lewiston medical services that is simply a bunch of quackery after over a year of careless and lazy misdiagnosis, and over-medicating of anti-biotics with no regard for the overuse of anti-biotics, and the hazardous and dangerous potential of becoming VRE. Upon seeking medical services in Moscow/Pullman area I was properly assessed, diagnosed, and treated (ending in surgical removal of issue). The moment I arrived for my pre-op I was highly impressed. While there were several people who helped me out I remember Julie the most. Julie RN walked me through the process step by step, providing me with so much information that I needed. The hospital was extremely clean and sanitary, organized and tidy, and there was A LOT of attention to fine details, as well as, an impressive amount of attention to the potentials of infection. All the way up to the surgery I felt so comfortable, well informed, and stress free. Julie was simply the best! She really made my experience the best it could have been. I was so impressed with the entire experience that I will continue to seek medical services at Pullman Regional in the future. If I could give it a 10 star I would. But they only allow for 5 stars. It was beyond. I can see why they are #1, as they should be.

It’s kind of a hit or miss with who you get. Don’t get me wrong, my child’s pediatrician and nurse upstairs is AMAZING, but the overall staff is pretty patchy downstairs and in the ER. Any time I’ve had to take my daughter in to the Emergency Room, (Once for dehydration, and another occasion being ill) I’ve felt as a young mom, I’m shot down and my voice isn’t heard about the needs and proper care for my child, and the situation being. Some staff aren’t too friendly and seem a little short with me when I’m simply trying to explain what is wrong with my toddler, when in all reality, I’ve got a frightened just under two year old who has never been to the E.R. but briefly, who just wants to feel better. My experiences would be so much easier and smoother with both me and my child if PRH would just simply let me explain my child’s situation, and let me speak for more than 10 seconds to help them better understand what is going on with my sick child.

Nichole Morgan

The absolutely worst care, and most disrespectful nurses I have ever seen in my life. I was laughed at, talked down to and told to come back if I experienced any symptoms that brought me in in the first place. I was told I didn't look sick after a 20 pound weight loss and being sick with stomach flu/food poisoning symptoms for over a month. Not all of the nurses were rude but all but one who were involved with me were very demeaning and treated me like I was stupid. I understand people have bad days but to take issues out on patients who don't know you and are seriously ill is a huge misjudgment by staff. I will absolutely never go back again. The snide comments about college students and assumptions that I was an alcoholic were absurd and had nothing to do with why I was there. I'm actually disgraced by some of the statf there. I even had to ask a nurse if she was ok, after a very rude response I told her I didn't know what she was going through but to please not talk down to me, I had done nothing to her and I felt attacked for no reason. You shouldn't have to ask to be treated fairly at a place where the whole point is to care for your health and well being.

Was in there tonight and very pleased they do a good job in and out pretty quick because they do the job right the only ones that I've seen on the here leaving bad reviews are a bunch of damn drug addicts trying to get their pain pills so they can get high

Bryce and Rachel Perry

Our family has needed care in form of OB ultrasounds, other abdominal ultrasounds, and Emergency Room visits. I have always been pleased with the radiology department. We have always been pleased with the adult care available in the Emergency Department. Our only concerns have been minor concerns with the pediatric care in the ER.

Joshua Jackson

Waited quite some time to be seen by the emergency ward because the ReadyCare section would not see me due to a wait time going past their closing time. Once I received care it was lackluster - nobody told me what could possibly be wrong, or why it could be a problem. I ended up leaving with some invasive tests, and a shot to my thigh. But no real answers, referrals, or direction to go after that. Very poor experience. Doctors and nurses were funny, though, but that hardly helps me.

Melanie Bruski

Living in Southern California surrounded by “the best” hospitals in the country doesn’t prepare you for the care you receive at Pullman Regional Hospital. The staff at PRH actually cares about patients as people – not as a diagnosis. Patients have a name, not a number - and the staff actually remembers your name. Family members are treated with respect as part of the patients “team” rather than being treated like nuisance. The level of care at PRH is exceptional. Thank you all for being so amazing!

erica munguia

Brought my 2 month old in because her pediatrician said she needed immediate care due to her not being able to breathe. The front desk guy was super rude didn’t even let me talk and we waited 20 minutes in the emergency room to be seen! Sadly its the only hospital close to home that her insurance will cover Update: It’s been 40 minutes now

Bryttni Robinson

I had a torn labrum and loved my surgeon and everyone I met there. Everyone was very kind and made me feel less anxious about my surgery. They didn’t make me feel stupid when explaining things either, which was a really nice thing because I’ve been to some doctors who do. All around great care here. I’d highly recommend.

Candice Brager

Would give no stars if it was an option. They botched my sons IV and it blew his arm up like a balloon. I told them several times while it was happening and he was screaming in pain that something was wrong and they ignored me, the doctor and one of the nurses even rolled their eyes at me about it. We had a different doctor take over and he had us stay over night for liability reasons because they messed up and they knew it. I also had gone in in labor and the nurses were terrible at their job. It should not take two nurses and ten minutes of digging around to see if I was dialated. They sent me home saying I wasnt and that it was Braxton hicks. I have had two other children so I know the difference. I chose to drive to cda where I had my other two kiddos and I was 6 minutes apart and 4cm when I got there. In short this hospital is a terrible joke and the staff I have encountered shouldn't be in this field of work
