My daughter broke both of her arms and she was treated with the greatest of care from the ER to the OR. The people were nice and helpful and the entire hospital was amazingly clean. They clearly take pride in their work. My daughter had to get her left arm plated and it looks great and she is on the road to recovery. Great experience!

My family has used and had good experiences with North Canyon's emergency department, surgery, imaging and labs. I also get Primary Medical Care at the Gooding location. A lot of well-qualified friendly people work at North Canyon, but one of the things I love the most is the ability to get scheduled and treated without long wait times.

This place is incredible! The facility is beautiful and so clean! The staff is wonderful. How often does the CEO of a company just walk by and greet people in the waiting area or sit in the cafeteria and interact with everyone? NEVER. This is definitely a unique place! I had no idea it was the CEO and COO until my daughter pointed it out to me. It's a kind, caring, and safe atmosphere. We were taken such good care of. North Canyon definitely earned a gold star in my book!

I went in with foot pain. The hospital staff was phenomenal and friendly and very polite. When the original thought of the problem didn't work out, the PA thought to try something else. Sure enough, his thinking outside the box found the issue, and he was able to recommend the right specialist to correct the problem. They didn't try to rush me out or tell me they couldn't find anything...they kept me until they at least had an idea. I will definitely go there from now on.

My husband has been into NCMC's ER a few times this year and has been a patient on the nursing floor. He was treated so kind and wonderful that we will be back for services, if needed! Outstanding nursing! Especially loved the ER staff!

Jamie R. and Dr. Sanders took extremely good care of me during the tests and eased my anxiousness of the process. Jamie's technique provided Dr. Sanders with the images he needed to rule out possible concerns. I am forever a NCMC patron. Thank you for the compassionate care you provided.

I was hospitalized in the North Canyon Medical Center for 3 days. Their staff was more than phenomenal!! Everyone was friendly and courteous including the ER Dept, the nurses X-Ray (CT scan), food service and beyond! Everyone leaving my room always asked if I needed anything before they left, no exception! You should be very proud of the service you provide. Thank You! Heather Fultz

We have been so spoiled in Buhl to have Dr. Nofziger so accessible for so long. He is one of the best doctors I've ever dealt with! Definitely the most caring! His staff has always gone out if their way to take care of his patients! It's a shame that the receptionist for North Canyon isn't as conscientious about customer service as Dr. Dan's in the old office! I recently had an scary episode and called to make an appt. to see Dr. Dan.....he wasn't available for a few days but I made the appt. A couple of days before the appt. I had another episode and thought I had better see someone right away so walked in and saw the NP. Had a couple of tests and sent me home still intending to see Dr. Dan to get his opinion of the test results. Apparently the receptionist assumed because I had seen the NP that I wouldn't still want the appt. with Dr. Dan so she gave the appt. to someone else! Next available a week and a half away!! Great! So I call the next day to talk to one of his nurses and when I ask for her by name the receptionist asks "why do you want to talk to her." I told her it was none of her business.....eventually she takes my number to have Dr. Nofziger or his nurse call me back but never gives anyone the message! Sure don't like this new setup in Buhl!

EXTREMELY disrespectful and unprofessional nursing staff. When you have a loved one in the hospital for a fairly serious condition, family members are going to be concerned and ask questions. It is your job as a healthcare professional to BE professional, kind, and caring of the patient and their family members. If you are not a compassionate person- DONT GO INTO NURSING OR ANY HEALTHCARE RELATED CAREER. Very disappointed. I only clicked on the one star because i couldnt figure out how to rate it with none. NEVER AGAIN.

In October 2018 my sweet mother fell and broke her hip. North Canyon was fabulous!! We had a sad, but accurate gauge to compare their care in contrast to the poor care she was given at St Lukes in Boise two years earlier; where she had gone when she broke her other hip. North Canyon is impressive. They took such good care of Mom. And she actually raved about the food. (Although she is comparing it to Dads cooking! Enough said there. Ha ha) The family loved that they held weekly conferences with all mom's surgeons, Drs, Nurses, PT's, RT's, OT's and caregivers and that we were invited & encouraged to attend. Which we did as often as we could. They even allowed other family members who couldn't attend the option to conference call in. Their skill, attention to detail, cleanliness, and genuine caring from all was wonderful. Since I live two hours away, I could not be there every day, so words don't do justice to how much I appreciated Angie calling me at least once a week to keep me updated on mom's progress. I highly recommend North Canyon Hospital.

Best ER doctors and The Best surgeon we have ever dealt with!(not the first time she has had surgery).. Had to rush to the ER in September for my 10 year old she had broken 4 bones and needed surgery. She couldn’t move her arms to pull her hair back and in that moment I had a crying baby in my arms and the sweet nurse jumped right in and did her hair. The communication the ER Dr. had with the surgeon was great we left that night with an appointment with Dr. Grooms and When the time came for her surgery he was such a delight! Surgery went perfect as worried parents the OR staff kept us informed the entire time and all the follow ups she was so comfortable with Dr. Grooms and his staff. She now has zero pain and full range of motion even with the hardware put in. We will happily make the drive to North Canyon medical for our appointments with Dr. Grooms!

I absolutely love the gooding hospital. I have had a few visits over there since i have moved to Idaho and each time I have been very pleased!! The building is really clean and the staff is incredibly nice and genuinely cares about you and your well being. I will be back for all of my needs!! Thanks so much NCMC

I came to this hospital thinking im going to get better service than I did at killmore center in Mnt home. And I was treated like a druggy because im on pain meds. . note to ANYONE. If you are on pain meds skip this hoapital and find a place you can go that wont treat you like a low life. AND fyi I had to listen to how they give out clean needles for IV user's and im not even close to a person like that. Very rude and unprofessional. Thank you for NOTHING, wish I could bill for fuel and for having to be put down by the doctor's.
