Terrible. I spent 3 very patient hours in the ER because my doctor's office couldn't see me and really wanted me to get checked out. The ER doctor was so condescending and made me feel very unimportant. I completely understand the ER is for true emergencies but people still don't deserve to be treated like garbage. I won't mention his name, but sir you are not a good person.

Records dept. difficult (re: Impossible) to get in contact with. Accepts sub-par physicians who throw antibiotics at everything that moves. Their PA's are actually better clinicians than their MD's, it's a shame they have to answer to physicians who are seemingly stuck in 1998. Also, their ED is like a circus. Pros: I guess it's cheap. If you need lab work their lab staff is competent and friendly. Other than that...not much.

Terable people treat every one who comes in like trashy drug addicted people . Nurses are rude and nasty attitudes, so tired of the er it's discuss ting even the lady who run's it is rude treats people like their dirt sad, sad place

Horrible, spent several hours in the ER just to wait for the nurse to take my temperature and vitals, seemed like everyone was there for the social aspect not for working. Felt completely ignored and uncared for the whole time. If you have a car please make the trip to Spokane and completely avoid this terrible place

I am Vietnam War Veteran. President Trump is now allowing Vets to have a choice on who they can have as their Doctor and this includes Private Doctors as well. Unfortunately, I found out that Newport Hospital is not a Private Hospital. It is run by the State of Washington. This is the main reason for the extreme incompetence I experienced at this hospital. I have a list of things that I experienced with this hospital that for now I will exclude from this formal complaint. I have never experienced good service with any Government Office in my lifetime. Have you? This is prime example why we don’t want Socialized Medicine in our country today. There is no incentive to be the best in what ever we do in a Socialized form of Government. History has proven that everything stagnates over time under a Socialist’s regime of tyrants who think they know better than on us on how we should conduct our lives. As for me, I will go back to the VA hospital in Spokane. I know this is a Government run hospital but it does a much better job taking care of Veteran’s than Newport Hospital. My advice, if you value your own personal health, do not use this hospital. This the reason for my One Star review.

Horrible is a nice word for this nest of creatures in this political rhetorical demographically challenged region. Absolutely worst ever experience with a medical facility in all 51 years of life. Babylon to the fullest extent. Clearly judged by how you look,your health care plan,and thus treated by that biased status. The old red haired receptionist is confrontational and super rude.

They diagnosed & treated my ex-husband for the wrong ailment. He passed away a few days later. I'm very disapointed in that hospital. Sorry for the bad review but its the truth.

My wife had some blood work done and they said they would call us within the hour with results. We called and called always getting the excuse that the doctor was busy or the nurse was with a patient. After 3 days of calling and finally reaching the doctor, we were told they couldn’t give results over the phone. We were very upset with the way we were treated and now drive to Bonner General in Sandpoint.

Took my 85 year old mother in today after falling and hitting her head on ice.. they literally had her in CT scan in 30 minutes.. Dr. Aaron Peterson is excellent..really nice guy..plus Afghanistan vet.. kinda Dr you want..just a super guy.. very pleased..tha tha so much for the care you gave my mom.

While all the staff are very nice. It was like dealing with the there stooges. The nurse assigned to put the iv in my husband put air in his veins...and my husband told her he heard air..then she furiously starts brushing down his arm...to keep the air bubbles from killing g him.

Nurses are always nice. Except one. My son was wailing in pain for an hr in the waiting room. Kept telling them my son can be heard thru the hospital we need assistance Now. No one would help. My other son sick with the same situation no help. Until one doc came in 2 hrs later. What joke. They were standing around chatting majority of the time. They have a lot of work to do to become a better caring hospital. Unprofessional.
