My family and I have been to several doctors within the Bingham family and have had great experiences with each one. I especially recommend Dr. Christensen for any Sports Medicine needs. He is the best!

As part of an activity with the Idaho State University Honors Program we were given a tour of the facilities and a small glimpse into the lives of the hard working people found there. Many took time out of their busy schedules in order to discuss there occupation and the hospital facilities with us. As a student applying to medical schools this next coming year I find this kind of experiences invaluable to my educational experience and really could not be more appreciative!

CHECK YOUR EXPIRATION DATES ON THE PKU!!!!!!! My Newborn had to get 2 cuts on his heel for blood sample of PKU..... as if thats hard to see.... whats worse is 2 weeks later the clinic needed another PKU.... I asked why... they said the PKU that was done were expired... so clinic had to cut his heel again..... sux seeing that again...... couple other parents had same problem too..... seriously check your expiration dates... nobody likes to see a baby crying getting their heel cut for PKU sample.....

I had my gastric sleeve done at this hosptial. The doctor is awesome. And the nurses were really good to me. I had the best of care. I've been in a few hosptials that can learn patient care ffrom you.

I will only go here if I can't make it to Idaho Falls. The nurse's are normally nice, but from time to time I get that nurse that I just can't even believe she is getting paid. After I got telling one that I have Panic disorder which causes me to have panic attacks all the time she said don't have one while I'm poking you, or your vain might collapse! WHAT?! My husband got into a car accident and was laying on a stretcher freezing for 2 hours with glass in the back of his head before they even offered a blanket and another hour before they asked if he was... in pain... O_o really?! just got t-boned but naaaa I'm not in any pain. my daughter have a UTI and they needed to get a urine sample, so thought a catheter before anything else was how they should go?! Also the waiting room? yeah get comfy you're going to be there for about an hour. Got a baby with a fever of 105? still going to be there a while. I have only ever had one good experience there, and only heard of 2 others.

If you’re not white don’t go to the Blackfoot hospital. I’ve had too many racial encounters in Blackfoot. The last time would be taking my dad here. He fell off a tractor and cracked his ribs and the male nurse that took (care) of him was rough and talked down on him like he was stupid. I swear he would of kept at if I didn’t get in his face after I couldn’t take that behavior anymore. You would think ppl that go into the medical field know they’re going to have to care for all races. I can’t imagine how they treat the ppl that have no one to defend them from this behavior. Smh. Worst place ever and Blackfoot is a horrible town.

Long story short. If you want tests done don’t go here. The radiology staff are dis honest and Lazy. It took 2 weeks and an hour and a half round trip just to get them to finally give my doctor the results and for them to do their job. I ended up filing a complaint and they lied about what happened. Saying they never got the order AFTER telling me my doctor called and and gave them the order via phone call the evening before my ultrasound. They lied saying they tried to contact my doctor several times and send results after telling me they had already sent my records to [the wrong doctor and automatically] ONE TIME! I also told them to feel free to call me if there were any issues. Which they did not. They knowingly sent my results to the wrong doctor, (they told me the wrong doctor was on file the day of my ultrasound), even after my doctor attempted to get the results 3 times! They plenty of opportunities to fix this issue over the 2 week period. I am very dissatisfied with my experience here and do not recommend them. If you want staff that communicate, are honest, care about their customers and get their job done, go somewhere else!

Jerry from Billing needs to learn how to be compassionate and understanding!! He just kept repeating himself like reading from a script. He was not understanding at all!! It was my mistake their department does not make any mistakes in billing. Jerry did Not call me back he stated that I will be mailed a letter. On a lighter note Tylene was Very understanding!! Every single time I go in there I sit in the waiting room for hours than when I go back the nurses have attitudes and the doctors make it seem like youre faking it. Every time they tell me there's nothing wrong and send me home. OBVIOUSLY somethings wrong if I keep feeling horrible. Honestly would prefer pocatello hospital over Blackfoot.

The ER doctor with a Hawaiian last name is very rude, unprofessional, ignorant, 3 years ago I had a panic attack and ever since then I went to the ER several times due to a pinched nerve in my back, and he assumes I was just having an anxiety attack... really? I could get shot and be bleeding from my chest and he would walk in and say "it's just an anxiety attack", what a jackass he is, I'd go to portneuf now.

Went to the Er for asthma and upper respiratory issues. I Was taken right in, not a long wait. I was seen first by the resident doctor who really impressed me with his thoroughness. Then the Er dr.examined me again. I think he had his feathers ruffled by the resident dr. Respitory therapy was wonderful. The only downsides were the cocky male charge nurse and the long wait for xray. Other then that things were pretty good. The next morning the ER dr. Called me personally to make sure that I was doing ok. That to me was above and beyond. So impressed.

Dr Pugmire has been great along with her staff. But the business department is lacking. I’ve been getting many bills over the last year and always pay them on time. When reconciling my claims with my bills at the end of the year I realized they had billed me for the same service two months apart and I had paid both. The finance department recognized this was clearly the business departments fault and refunded me the money. But honestly this shouldn’t have happened in the first place and should have been caught by them way sooner then I caught it. A simple part of customer service is to just do what you say. The financial department said they were going to have the business manager call me but I never heard from them again. 5 stars for Dr Pugmire but 2 stars for the business department.

Bingham Memorial was such a HUGE help with our school fundraiser. We held a Color Run to raise money for the field trips our students would go on at the end of the year. Told during a crisis on med surg they didn't have the staff to help. Very loud nurses on med surg make sure you know everyone's problems from patients, families, doctors and staff. Tests not done in timely manner. Poor RN knowledge in crisis

Nurse Barbara has no empathy and barks orders to a patient in extreme pain to get on the bed and onto middle of the bed seeing to well that the patient can barely move. Pathetic. At end of miserable emergency room visit while your in little relief she demands you to do survey. Wanted to tell her how her lack of empathy and barking were very utterly humiliating. She wasnt having that in her survey. She is same way when she used to work upstairs at same day surgery. Wrong employment for that rude lady. Give 2 stars due to the emergency room dr. Does seem to still like his job atleast.

Depends on what doctor you see here and which part of the hospital you go to. The ER is usually hit and miss with service some ER docs are great such as timmoms but others tend to rush you out withought much or any treatment. ON AN IMPORTANT NOTE, IVE HAD TO RIP MY OWN IVS OUT TWICE BECAUSE DISCHARGE FROM ER TOOK TOO LONG. The OR is great tho they did a good job removing my appendix. Unfortunately most hospital emergency departments are going downhill as far as treatment.

We have been very happy with the staff at Bingham Memorial, the Dr's, nurses, and supports staff are Awesome!! I have had several surgeries at Bingham and have always found it clean, and the staff answered all of my questions and gave me exceptional care! They can take care of all of your health care needs!!

I sent my wife over here one night because everything else was closed to simply have them give her numbing medicine for an ear infection. She ran over, and ran back home in less than twenty minutes. A month later we received a 550 dollar bill! I called to pay it and they ensured me that would be all, then another month later, I receive a 100 dollar bill from the doctor himself! Do not EVER go to this Hospital unless your going to die and have no choice! And even then it might not even be worth it, Lol,

Scarred my wife for life on a simple Gall bladder Surgery has a 11 inch scar on her side due ot complete incompetence of a new Doctor left alone to work on her. Thank God another surgeon was called in to save her life. She almost died. I would HIGHLY recommend any other facility if you value your life or don't want to be mutilated with enormous scars on your body for simple procedures that are being done to you!

hospital was clean , staff was friendly, took care of my needs. there had been an accident on the freeway that morning on our way from Idaho falls. traffic had been detoured and made us as well as many others late for our surgery's. the hospital staff worked quickly to get people rearranged and taken care of. after everything was done went to a nice room and had a great meal. I give them an A+

Absolute joke!! Just want your $$ don’t care about anything else!! I had a miscarry they knew about and was going to have my body pass it out on its own at home sense I was only 8 weeks. I called them with some questions I had about what should be happening, they stated something is wrong I need to get in there now. I go in, wait for 3 hours running back n forth to the bathroom before I was finally put in a room. Wait another 45mins in the room in their dumb gown bleeding everywhere before a nurse finally comes in. they do a quick ultrasound to see if the placenta had been discharged (even though I already told them it did on the phone), tell me everything looks great and gave me some Tylenol. They billed my insurance $1800, $900 I had to pay which I filled out the disputing form that states they cannot turn you into collections until you hear back on it. I called 3 times seeing what’s going on with it, each time I got something dif. It was in review, were having problems finding it they will call me back........ I get a call from collections for it and they stated it’s too late now sense they already turned me in, I have to pay it.

I would like it known that on 10/22/2018 my daughter went by ambulance to this hospital with my grandson age 2 had stopped breathing at home . When they arrived whoever met the paramedics and my daughter at the ER entrance made a disgusted face and didn’t even ask my daughter directly but totally ignored her and asked “Does she even speak English? “ We are Hispanic and yes we speak English and Spanish which I’m sure you don’t I personally find this offensive and from someone who works at ER is totally beneath them . You should be ashamed of yourselves Bingham Memorial for having idiots like that man even working there .

Medical Bills are a major stresser in my life and I have had a few really unpleasant experiences when it comes to paying those bills. However, every negative experience I have had has been with someone other than Bingham memorials billing office and even though it wasn't their problem Bingham Memorial's Billing department has worked with me and provided some priceless advice on how to deal with other billing companies. Bingham Memorials billing department has been so patient with me and allowed me to make payments that work with my income. I am very appreciative of them. :)
