Beware if u are suppose to be indigent 100% then why do you still have to pay an arm and leg...this hospital-physical therapy is the most rude people that should be professional

My dad and mom came to see her brother in law after driving 2 to 3 hours they were taking him back to convalescent home and wouldn't stop for one minute to let them say hey or nothing all they could do is wave and my dad asked could you just stop for a minute to let us talk to him. And the head nurse says we have a schedule. And the 2 nurse pushing his bed never even acknowledged them. Not professional at all and very rude. With no patients you don't have a job I think they could have spared a couple of minutes to just let someone who drove all that way to say we are here for you. After in the ambulance they just stood around talking for 10 minutes to a man....REALLY!!! They have time to stop and talk on their schedule but not for patrons or patients. Sad!!!

This is the human version of a slaughter house. They check you in, the doctor shows up, and your out. If you have any pain they will literally give you pain meds and on your way.

Presented to jefferson county hosp yesterday in severe pain. Received quick triage then treatment. Thanks to all the staff for the great care I received. Citizens of jefferson county we are blessed to have a great hospital. Special thanks to Dr. Pilcher. He practiced in Dalton Ga for years where I am from. He is a great, caring, physician. We are blessed to have him here.

I showed up with a shattered arm screaming in the hall ways for help blindy found the er. The entrance i came to had no outside or inside signs pointing to the ER. They were overloaded With 3 people in waiting room. I'm just wondering what kind of hospital doesn't bring emergencies immediately back expecially where loosing an arm is at stake. i never even saw a dr only 2 nurses. The nurses were amazing and caring. They finally gave me pain killers and had me ambulanced to augusta university they didn't splint/secure my arm which made for a painful hour long ambulance ride. When i called today trying to give insurance information the operator and first lady i talked to were unprofessional and uncaring. The lady in billing was very kind.
